I am VERY satisfied with the quality of service that Coolray and specifically Wayne Jolly provided to my family. He was able to properly asses our needs and recommend the proper equipment to purchase. He was extremely fair in price, and went the extra mile for us, even registering our equipment so that our full warranty can be applied.

I highly recommend CoolRay to anyone looking for customer service that is second to none, and a team of individuals who actually CARE about the clients they serve..which is very rare these days.

My first experience with this company was for their heating and air services. Prior their visit, it seemed that I had to have an HVAC service person come out for at least once or even twice per year for repairs, and it just seemed that each time they were only patching the problem and not actually fixing anything. So, I decided to try a different company. I was so impressed with the job the Coolest guy dI'd that I decided to also use their plumbing services when it came time for plumbing repairs. These guys are so honest and fair. They truly went above and beyond as if it were their own house or family. You can't imagine how much I appreciate that.

I am pleased with the equipments operation I do believe it was a goid chioce , but I do have some issues . I was told a couple of the vents in my family room would be replace , when the service techs installed the the units and attempted to install the vents . They couldn't because they were too big , they then told me someone would be bringing out the proper ones to install ( it hasn't happen as of yet nor have I heard anything from you guys stating you will be scheduling domeone to come out and install) and then there is the service call of the tech that was to be taken off my final bill but because the bill is not itemized, I have no way checking to see if it was acturally done (not to imply that it didn't happen but it is good business to show that what you say happened happens)
Overall experience good but you have fallen short of my expectations

Coolray came out to service my AC on Memorial Day weekend when I couldn't get anyone else out. We even had a maintenance agreement with another local Atlanta company which was supposed to ensure priority service in these situations but they couldn't come out for several days.

We had our upstairs system go dark on us for no apparent reason. We called Coolray and the tech, Mike, showed up at the time and date we agreed to. It did not take him long to determine that the drainage/condensation pipes were installed improperly and the flow was backing up to a second safety switch that i did not know existed. Mike got the system running and returned in two days to install the drainage pipes correctly. On his first visit he checked all of the systems and found several error messages. On his return trip he took care of these also with most of the fixes being under warranty.

I would highly recommend Coolray and especially the Tech Mike.

I have a maintenance agreement w/ Coolray, which is helpful for the yearly check-ups. But whenever I need real maintenance, whether it be a plumping issue or AC, I only get quotes from Coolray & Mr. Plumber because they're so overpriced. But the staff is very friendly and helpful.

So we used them to service our system. They charged us for leak sealer but we found later the evaporator coil had been blown and they didn't notify us for warranty service. Cost us thousands of dollars and after our service ended, they called for a service that we supposedly paid for. So I am supposed to request the manager contact me per the owner of my property. Because the service we received warrants a refund.

I have been a customer for 7 years and very happy with your service. We are on the yearly maintenance program which provides piece of mind knowing our a/c units are working efficiently. All the technicians have been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable on a/c usage. Clay (Technician) was extremely thorough on addressing some a/c concerns. He even cleaned the top of our outside units. Now that's cleanliness. I'm glad I can trust Coolray with my a/c units; especially during the Atlanta summer.

I have been a loyal Coolray customer since 2004 when my house was built. I have had a service contract where they came out twice a year to service my heat and air conditioning units. This year my regular furnace service was completed in October. It was completed a little quicker than normal but I didn't think anything about it until my heat went out in December. I called Coolray who advised me over the phone that there would be a $59 charge which could be waived depending in the problem. This happened on the coldest day this year so I said ok. A serviceman came and spent an hour and a half in my attic. When I ask if everything was ok, he said that it takes a long time to check all the wires. When he finally came down he told me my circuit board was bad. It could be replaced for $660 but he could not guarantee that there were not other issues. His recommendation was that I buy a whole new heat and air system. If I bought heat only the price would range between $2200-$4000. If I bought both the range would be $6000-&10,000 depending on my preferences. I told him I would think about it and discuss with my husband. Then he charged me $69 for the service call instead of what I was quoted over the phone. I paid him and called a different company the next day. They said there was nothing wrong with my circuit board and my heat was working in less than 5 minutes. I don't know how Coolray trains their technicians but I feel like this was a terrible ploy to take advantage of the elderly at a very vulnerable time (temperature was in the 20's). After this experience I will not renew my contract or use Coolray again. I was so furious I considered putting on Facebook and calling the media.

The installation technicians were fantastic and really went above and beyond through the entire process. The sales team and management were all responsive, knowledgeable, and on time every time. I am extremely satisfied and happy that I went with Coolray rather than going with another option. I will be using them again in the future!

I cannot recommend Coolray enough. I was quoted a $2000 repair for my AC by a competitor. So glad I called Coolray for a second opinion. The actual problem was a clogged drain line and just a little bit of coolant recharge. Honesty and attention to detail literally saved me thousands from an unneeded repair.

My problem has been a two year issue
I have signed up for the maintenance agreement and the last two years it was me that contacted you late in the winter and summer inspection period to make an appointment.
Both times the appointment was made it was then cancelled the day of or the day before because someone else was a priority.
This has caused me to consider another HVAC contractor that may extend the same value of my appointment as they value all the others.
Twice each year I rearranged my time only to have wasted it waiting then being cancelled.Thought you should know.

Our experience with Coolray was superb from the beginning with our estimate from David Poulos to the end of our installation with Jonathan Weaver and his team. I have never learned so much about HVAC. No doubt it was an expensive proposition to replace the heating and ac unit. But also our heating and cooling issues of 22 years were addressed and fixed. My daughter s room that was too hot felt great that first night as did my daughter whose room was always too cold. My daughter with allergies noticed a significant difference that night of installation. I had some estimates that all they did was replace the units. Why replace the units with new units when the issues would still be there? These are my hvac guys from now on. I keep singing there praises to anyone that asks.

Horrible air conditioning company, I had them come out 3 times to get my ac working, they never really figured out what was wrong just kept flushing it with water. Eventually the repairman cut a wire out and it resulted in my ac clogging, filling my drip pan with 5 gallons of water, and leaking through our ceiling. I will never recommend this company to anyone, and please please put the phone down immediately if you re looking to use them. Cool Ray is horrible!

I have been under the annual maintenance plan for the past 4 years and never had a problem. The past few services I discovered the tech who serviced my units installed the air filters upside down. I corrected it and didn't bother to bring it to their attention. The last maintenance performed the tech didn't even bother to replace the filters even though he noted it on the receipt that he did. I discovered this about 2 months after he supposedly replaced them. I found filters I installed about 5 months ago ( I replace them every 3 months) and they were practically disintegrated. I did bring this to their attention and was ready to cancel the contract (which I had just renewed shortly before the tech came out). They offered to "re-train" the tech and provide me with a free annual contract for the following renewal period. I also requested they not send that tech out to service my units in the future, which they agreed. We will see if they keep their promise.

To say that i am disappointed is an understatement, i made a phone call to Coolray because my air conditioner was out, the condenser fan was not spinning, i suspected it to be the fan MOTOR, which i clearly stated on my call buy what do i know i am just a car guy.They sent someone out, paid $79.00 for service ,he came in and say it is something else that i ended up paying $364. When i came home the AC is not cooling as it suppose to, i told my wife, this thing is not working right. She said let us observe it. 7days later it stops altogether again, i call coolray and told them what just happened. They sent someone again who came in and said what ever the previous guy did was not the issue, the actual issue is the Fan Motor as i suspected,Guess what he then charge me $1300 to replace it.I looked up the part online it only cost $178.00 So people beware about this so called companies. I felt cheated and rob,[Please do your homework before you call this company to your home. I shopped around and find someone to install with labor which i only paid $300 including an OEM motor part...Crooked people...

I needed to replace a 23-year old, gas finance and 4-ton HVAC system with a new heat pump system We met with representatives from 4 HVAC companies including Coolray. Ron Smith from Coolray visited our home, looked over our old system and walked through the area of our home to be heated and cooled by the new system, Ron asked us several excellent questions which helped him determine several heat pump system options to consider. After comparing and contrasting several different options from multiple companies, We selected a Coolray Heat Pump option that fit our budget and made great economical sense to us. Ron took an educational and consultative approach with us rather than a hard sales approach which we greatly appreciated. The new system is running great and we immediately could tell a big difference in the quality of our conditioned air as we enter the hot season in Atlanta. Many thanks to Ron for his professional demeanor and extensive knowledge of HVAC systems.

Had my annual A/C checkup today, on both units on my house.I have used this service,(albeit under a different name before consolidation), since my house was built.These people have maintained my systems annually for 20 years.
The Technician today, Mr. Jim Denton, was most courteous, conscientious, and knowledgeable , and willing to explain in layman's terms any questions you might field, or to explain any problems he may find.
Thankful to have such a knowledgeable firm maintaining my systems, and would recommend their services without fail.

The technician who serviced our A/C was very skilled and knowledgeable. BUT, he advised doing things for a 25 year old system that I thought was over-kill and very expensive, particularly considering that it will likely need replacement before long. Sometimes, the enemy of good is better. I currently have a contract with Coolray, but am unlikely to renew.
Addendum: Since I originally submitted this review, I discussed my concerns with management at Coolray. They have arranged for me to receive a partial refund of the charges I incurred as a result of the service call I referenced in my review. It's clear that they're taking my concerns into consideration. At this point I am undecided about renewing my service contract next year, and am keeping an open mind.

We had a small leak in the water line leaving the water meter to the house. We made contact with Cool Ray "Mr Plumber". They arrived to fix the leak on time. It took the plumber one hour to fix the leak, however, we were charged a flat rate of $698.00.

I have always respected Coolray as one of the premier companies servicing heating and air. I have an agreement with Coolray for a twice a year annual agreement contract. This is my third year of renewal. Although, the technicians are always very professional and well experienced in diagnosing a problem; sometimes I think they truly show that they are the top of line and forget their responsibility in the area of customer service.

I recently had a tech who I have had before doing preventive maintenance on my a/c. I always have high anxiety when he shows up. This is because, he has a tendency to scare you the minute he sees a potential problem. If he sees that the a/c may not be cooling, he immediately tells you that you have serious problems. This is before he has completely diagnosed the problem inside and outside unit. He goes outside and the compressor was not running so he immediately said that your compressor is dead and this is a major problem and it is not worth servicing this unit. Once, he cleaned out the system outside, the compressor started up but there was a loss of Freon detected. So, he put in 1lb of Freon.

Now, I realize that my unit is 15 years old and has some issues. But, the tech needs to diagnose the problem completely before jumping to conclusions. I almost had a heart attack that I will have to replace my entire a/c. He was correct in that there was a Freon leak in the system.

I had someone else come and see my a/c and the tech said that the capacitor was bad and that is why the compressor was not running consistently. He replaced the capacitor and the compressor started running. The Coolray tech should have tried to replace the capacitor. His conclusion was that I have a compressor issue and a leak and therefore the a/c will not function for long.

I think, next year I might think of trying another company for maintenance contract.

Coolray & Mr. Plumber came out the very next day after being called. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it on the spot, without having to come back out at a later time. With that being said, the cost to make the repair seemed slightly high, but I went ahead and paid for it just to stop the leak from continuing, as we don't know how long it had been leaking.

I'm a first time customer and had scheduled a standard maintenance inspection for two home systems. I'd used a different company last year and on a whim decided to try Coolray. The technician called to let me know he was on his way (and early) which was great. He was generally courteous and professional. However, at the end of the inspection he informed us there were numerous problems with our systems and it'd be around $1,500 for each system ($3K total) to get them fully tuned up and fixed. He provided a report and photos of all the findings - which while nicely detailed - isn't exactly clear on what's operationally critical vs what is probably good to do but not urgent. And given that we weren't having or noticing any issues with our systems, was a pretty big pill to swallow. After Googling a bit on some of the items I didn't feel like some of the recommendations were even necessary without some other cause to do them. I didn't get the sense that there was room to prioritize the items and was told that payment plans were an option. The experience just didn't sit well with me overall I'm sorry to say.

Great company with lifetime warranty. Service technician, Simon, is superb! He is friendly and very knowledgeable. He quickly identified the problem and fixed the unit. I felt confident in ability to repair the unit. It has been working great ever since. I highly recommend Simon's work and Coolray. Very pleased customer!!

Felt that the guys were pushing to replace things that were asked for. They told me my water pressure was to high and needed to replace meter and hot water heater. My hot water hasn;t been an issue. The replaced my sump pump , I felt like that was way to high ! They also accused my 26 year old of pouring food in the toilet.

This started with Lorenzo, followed by technician Ricardo coming out on time as agreed and did the analysis of the AC system that had failed abruptly. The results became obvious and the third team member arrived shortly, Lance Wulfsohn, to do the final diagnostics and propose the long term solution, settled in less than 45 minutes. In addition financing was available for 36 months at 0% APR over 36 months.
In between, the Coolray Dispatch team assured the seamless communication within the team and us as the customers. Needless to say that we have put a maintenance contract in place with remarkable advantages.

Be assured that this performance case by the Coolray Team will not go without being noticed by our friends, family and neighbors. Feel free to post my comment.

Finally please note, that counting on a Home Owner Insurance company such as First American, American Home Shield and others is the most frustrating experience in terms of performance and customer focus, both nonexistent.

This business is amazing! Beginning with Tommy my salesman to Jay and Omari my installers. Tommy explained everything on the different systems and warranty. He did a wonderful job setting everything up. Jay and Omari are amazing installers. Explained everything cleaned up, hauled away old system. Made sure we understood the new thermostat. The plumber did a good job, but we are not sure it's fixed. We were getting warm water from our kitchen cold water tap. It is improved but not the cold water we get in our other taps that are in the laundry room and bathrooms.
He fixed our toilet and now it works fine.
