Updated from 1* as the company has now discarded my fine, before i was able to login and make a second appeal .

My Dad was staying in a novel hotel Milton Keynes And was taken to hospital 12th of Jan 19:45 , due to covid19 i could not visit the hospital, obviously I could not sleep and wanted to make myself useful,so I visited the hotel to collect my dad's stuff.. a few days later I get a fine .I appealed thinking the matter would be dealt with. Today I get a letter asking me to send proof!!! all you had to do was show some compassion and check your images of a ambulance in your carpark at the time I provided and registration of my Dad's car which I also provided.What more proof could I possibly send .... Maybe the paramedics took selfies of my dying Dad ... Congratulations though for living up to the stereotype.

I received the letter of confirmation of a paid settlement on a timely basis.

Don't really understand all the bad reviews, my appeal was dealt through post.
Would advice Civil Enforcement to have a customer phone line so people can contact them. It's really hard to get hold of them , but my experience is not bad.
I appealed my pcn with proof of dvla and everything went ok.

They have also charged me twice! Letter says talk to an opperator but it is an automated line that hangs up on you! How can it be legal that they can take 2 payments then avoid contact. I feel very scammed.

Went to see a customer in jan 2019 at local shops, had no idea I had received a parking fine until March 2020 when I received a letter saying I had a CCJ against my name. How is any of this my fault? I have tried to contact the company through the business that deals with this company but they claim they can't do anything because it has already been through the courts. I've tried to contact your company on the telephone but there is no way to get through. How can this be resolved?

Gypsy's! They are begging for money! I parked at 20.40pm near a great store and didn't realise I can only stay 50min! Never seen that time limit in my life until now! Nobody there except the parking guy by the looks of it who was delighted to give me a fine for staying over with 30min until 10pm! Come one guys, where is common sense?! Hello I have received several letters at my address for the old owners - I have sent these back but have accidentally opened one in a pile of my own mail - this is court papers for the old owner of my home re a parking ticket - I am aware you say to leave it and credit search will identify new address but the old owners moved out of the country to Spain. How can I make sure I don't get any bailiffs at my home address.

Received a PCN on Friday 18/9/2020 which was my first notice of the parking charge but I moved address not long after the date of the PCN which is why I never received notice of this. I don t want to appeal my ticket as I do remember parking at that location and wasn t aware I needed ticket as I had never used the car park and it was next to co-op and thought it was the customer car park, I want to set up a payment plan as I cannot pay in full and it states on the letter i can make a payment plan of 12 monthly payments, I have 14days to contact but thier is no way to speak to an actual person, the payment line is automated and doesn t give the option to set up payment plan! Thiers no email! I even tried to just click on appeal just so I could write to someone and let them know I want to set up payment plan ASAP but I put my details in on the webpage several times to be told it wasn t the correct information which I know it was I even triple checked everything 4 times before i clicked submit and just keep getting the same msg, all Friday and today I have tried to contact someone and no avail it seems to be a running theme from reviews I have read. Could someone from the company please reply with a contact number where I can speak to a human? Or a valid email address I can contact to set up payment plan please? I will also try contact by post tomorrow! As it s last resort!

I am disgusted been given parking fine when we put our registration in the pub car park machine in the pub and stayed in there garden the whole time buying drinks!!! I am not paying somthing I don t owe!!

I paid the fine before the end date, but they still took the extra late payment amount. Now I cannot contract them. The phone is only an automatic payment line and they do not answer letters.

I parked at a GP surgery and as per covid only one at the time was allowed in and at my time to go in the secretary asked me the number plate to put on the system and a week later here it comes a parlking fine. Appealed explaining I was at the GP and the answer was no you have to pay

My husband received a fine despite putting his registration number in at the gym that uses the car park, he appealed explaining this and was unsuccessful (reading other reviews that was no surprise) we paid the fine worried that it would increase to the higher amount.
We have since been informed that the land was purchased by the council 4 months prior to this, that they were fining without authorisation and all fines issued should have been cancelled.
We have tried to contact them to request his refund but the two email addresses that we could find rejected my emails saying not recognised email addresses and the phone is an automated service to pay the fine. I have no idea how I am supposed to contact them?! Funnily enough it wasn t a problem when he was paying the fine! No customer service at all?!

Worse company I have ever dealt with. No option of speaking to a human. I ve tried several times to contact them.

But they can t be bothered to answer any emails or to inform the county court that I have settled it which is now causing me a lot of hassle and a potential situation where me and my family

Just found out this company has issued a ccj against me to a wrong address I moved out 3 years ago! I can t even get a hold of anyone and when I go to appeal I am given a link of going to court?! After looking at the other reviews I have monomial hope of this being resolved. Horrific

My payments were made in January and the courts still haven't been updated. It's impossible to speak to anyone with the only option of an automated payment service, any other contact number for you says mailbox full, I've also sent letters and raised a complaint via Resolver 1st March and still no response. When am I likely to receive a response or at least an idea of when the courts will be notified of the payments?

Today received a parking fine from these. My wife used my car to take our daughter to a hospital appointment at Norwich community hospital. The pictures they show are of the car entering the car park and leaving again with a 42 minute interval. This does not show where the car was parked and you can clearly see in the pictures my wife driving and my other children in the car. This is absolutely pathetic baring in mind my wife actually paid for her own parking and for a carer of someone due to them not having change. Will see what they issue next. W**kers

I'm currently taking legal advice about my experience with this company.
I pulled into land off a busy main road to repair a flat tyre. I did not "park" in an allocated bay, leave the car unattended, or block access. I have been fined as I was longer than 15 minuets. This is a complete scam & one that I intend to challenge legally.

I received a letter on the 03/02/2021 for a parking fine I received on the 30/11/2019.
I filled in an appeal form on their website and explained that I had moved house and not received anything until now.



I haven't received any correspondence from them since. I'm now worried that I will receive a CCJ against me because of this company!!! So can somebody from Civil Enforcement sort this out for me!!

I received a letter from this company saying they have wrote to me a couple times and heard nothing back when this was the first letter I ve ever seen so they were obviously sending it to a different address. so what I did is replied to them by email as there was no telephone and I havent heard anything back till now and it was a lovely letter from the County court business centre saying that civil enforcement Limited is taking me to court? This is over a year and a half ago and I asked for proof and proof of signs but heard nothing back from the company which is disgusting customer service! This cowboy firm sent me a PCN for parking in an NHS HOSPITAL car park when I had a blue badge and I'd called the number to inform them I should be white listed!

Absolutely horrendous. Got a letter for a ccj parking fine on Feb 20th...had 4 weeks to pay and should have been removed. Paid within 30 day (7th march to be exact)... They didn't let courts know ccj still on file currently speaking to solicitors to resolve this. Can't contact them via phone absolutely ridiculous. The stress this has caused is unbelievable. Shocking and unprofessional.

Scammers, try to charge you when you have clear evidence of fee parking. Have to appeal with POPLA as there is no reasoning with these guys.

Currently trying to get a receipt now that i've paid but the phone number that you can apparently 'speak to an operator during normal working hours' is never manned by a human and is only an automated payment number.

I rented a Hertz Van located at Costco and left my car there in the car park as it was the only thing i could do. My wife then receives a letter informing her that she has been issued a ticket via this Civil Enforcement company, and no option to contest.

CE only provide a number and their site address for you to pay the bill, but not speak to anyone to try and address the situation. There is a contact form on their site, which we used to explain the situation as well as provide a screenshot of the Hertz van hire confirmation. Several weeks later we received yet another letter claiming this would be the last chance before the "dreaded" bailiffs come around.

It's absolutely appalling that you can't speak to anyone and they just threaten you without giving you the opportunity to defend yourself.

Got a PCN through the post. For parking in a space, for which I had paid for. Contacted them to be told that if I don't pay they'll goto court. Your company is a joke, you have given me a fine for actually using KFC restaurant in deptford for staying over by 17 mins over from a 30min free parking.
I appealed to you telling you and also proving to you my receipt and bankstatement that I actually used the facilitys.
I even explained to you in my appeal that when I entered KFC there was a que in the drive through.
I also mentioned to you when I finally received my order KFC had forgotten some of my order, I then again explained to you that I had to wait atleast 10mins for them to prep my missing order

Scum of the earth. I've today paid a CCJ I only noticed I had by chance as they were sending letters to an address I haven't lived at for 2 years. I paid 320 over the phone then the phone went dead, no reference number nothing. Impossible to speak to anyone and when you do they don't appear to possess a brain cell. No email address to contact them. Reported these low lifes to the financial service ombusman.

Obviously 1 star and like all other people here I think the company is a licence to print money for themselves. They change a free parking period from 2 hours to 1 hour and I didn't notice the difference as the sign looks the same as before More

To anyone reading this, be aware that parking on private land is NOT illegal in any way. Your 'fines' are not fines, and anyone turning up at your door to collect is actually breaking the law and committing a criminal offence. DO NOT PAY.

Payed through the app for an hour apparently when I was going to get a haircut for my little boy. I always pay overtime just in case and I am sure this was an app glitch. Nevertheless trying to pay the fine of 60 pounds but its says pcn invalid on both phone and online? I have a feeling this is for them to get the full amount of 100 through the post. I sent an appeal but they never replied. After 7weeks they just sent a demand for the full amount, I phoned up and managed to get through on the phone to ask about my appeal, the lady claimed they wrote to me rejecting my appeal weeks ago and she claimed it must have got lost in the post but I know they never sent any letter. So beware people! I ended up paying the full charge just for an easy life evan though I never evan parked my my car where they claimed I did. You are dealing with crooks that won't play fair and just want your money.

Took Down syndrome women for special treat to Burger King aldershot, there poor service and the fact it took her 40 minutes to eat her meal. Ended up with fine for being over an hour

Sent me a "final notice" with no prior correspondence. No information on the letter at all where I apparently received this fine. Can't even speak to anyone I'm reporting them

This company without scruples, have set themselves up at a pregnancy termination clinic in Leicester. Imagine the heartache, for a woman to have an abortion, followed by a fine from a company who dont even appear to have the infrastructure to properly take payments. They are devoid of ethics and have an inhuman lack of interest in the people they are legally permitted to steal from.

A year later I have to pay to go to court to get CCJ set aside. They were issued to pay court fees and still haven't paid. They re absolutely notoriously difficult to contact, they ignored my appeals and keep sending me letters for a fine that s not even my fault. There were no signs at all and I went with several other people and none of them got a ticket. Professional scam artists. Horrendous... karma will get them

Received a PCN, but they had the incorrect address, hence we didn't recognise (our daughter had been driving).

Appealed ... no response
Appealed again ... no response

a month later received two letters by second class post enclosing two letters purportedly send a month earlier saying appeals dismissed but we could still pay reduced rate. The two earlier letters were never received (or I suspect sent). By this point we had worked out they were referring to wrong address.

Anyway went to pay reduced amount to find had now increased as the time limit had expired due to them not having sent us the outcome of the appeal and then sending "second" letter so we didn't get the result until six weeks later.

Even though we proved we had paid, they refused our appeal because we didn't give them our phone number. A quick look online shows the owner is a tax dodger listed on the paradise papers. If you work for this company, the world is a worse place with you in it.

You've neglected to respond with a copy of your signed contract. you are currently refusing to acknowledge or respond to an appeal and your have neglected to follow the operator code of conduct as outlined by the BPA but yet you use there trademark/signage. There have now been 2 threats of legal action, but yet no response to any communication. I look forward to dealing with you in the future and documenting all of your cavalier actions when needed.

I recived a parking charge for driving through the car park, appeal on their website does not work, have returned filled in form by post over a month ago however recived reminder 2 days ago. Absolutely disgusted with this company, contacting them is impossible, This must be a scum or other illegal doing. Going to report this to the police.

Absolutely shocking service, according to the letter you can set up a payment plan but when you actually call them, there is no option for a plan and they take the full amount in one go.

Hi, I m absolutely furious! Dealing with this company is a nightmare. Over a month ago my husband received a ticket for parking at the nearest restaurant when this actually never happened. First of all behind the restaurant is our driveway so we use the parking to get to our house but never park there! Secondly our house is based 30 meters from that place so it would be crazy to drive to that restaurant and leave the car! A month ago we sent a letter back that we need to see a proof as we never parked there. Since then we received another letter with increased fees to pay and no explanation! Someone should deal with this company as it s absolutely ridiculous!

one of our vehicles went int a car park managed by this thieves. the out of date app this people use would not let us pay for 20 minutes, when we finally managed to log in we paid for 1 hour instead of the 22 minutes we stayed in.

we put in a message on the payment too and called 2 days after to make sure that if a PCN was issued we explained why to be told that it was all good.

1 week after the PCN arrived through the post, we where told to challenge via the usual channel on the website.
that was rejected and we where told to appeal to POPLA which also rejected.

We have no time to fight this scammers therefore we paid but if we would have gone to court we would have won because their system was not working.

This company and others like them deserve to be shut for their rogue approach to honest companies and individuals.

This company issued me with a parking charge but I never received any letters or documentation because they sent it all to my old address. They raised it with the County Court and now I can't get a mortgage offer because I have a CCJ slapped against me for not paying a charge that I didn't even know existed.

No effort made to even establish if I received any of their letters. Terrible practice. Terrible unethical company.

Very very VERY dodgy company this indeed. the guy that owns it has dissolved 104 companies, EG not paid the tax I would imagine...proper dirty outfit this one...they charge you for parking then under some stupid law chase you for money, if you dont pay the give you a CCJ and they get away with it!

UPDATE: I spoke to Philippa at Civil Enforcement and learnt that my registration hadn't correctly entered into the parking machine, so only the second part of it showed up on the ticket and that was why I'd received the PCN. I showed my original ticket for the time when the offence was meant to occur and am pleased to say they have cancelled the PCN. Thank you.

I bought a ticket in Dec 2018 and displayed it but subsequently received a PCN. As I was not at home at the time or aware of it I was unable to appeal it. Despite contacting them subsequently and their collection agencies via websites and asking them to email so I could prove I'd bought a valid ticket (you couldn't upload it) no one ever responded.

I got correspondence in October and wrote back enclosing a copy of my ticket but still received further letters demanding payment. So I wrote again in Dec 2019. I thought that was the end of it but a few weeks ago I received another request to pay the same fine.

I still have my ticket for the time when the parking offence was meant to have happened. If anyone can help/advise me I would appreciate it?

have received 02 unfair parking tickets, I am trying to contact them during work hours but their phone number only asks for payment. Sick and tired of their system and unfairness. They are one of leading cause of Mental health issues for the society.
They need to create some empathy in them or otherwise the bad wishes from consumers will one day collapse their false empire.
