Not happy with service at all ! Stayed at hotel Campanile in March who share a car park with nearby restaurant, provided registration number at check-in. I have been issued a fine ! Both the hotel and restaurant have agreed parking charge is to be wiped but civil enforcement refusing to accept this. Tried to call today to discuss line was bad and call handler was less than helpful basically told me it's to be paid regardless of what hotel and restaurant say. Absolutely disgusting

Issued me a ticket being parkrd in gated and locked car park however I parked outside in the street. Disgrace and ridiculous

Absolute waste of oxygen. Got a ticket because I parked at my GP for an appointment and stayed for half an hour due to services running late. This is also after allegedly parking fees during lockdown were removed bear in mind! (17th Nov date in question). The system is relatively new and there is no real signage explaining this or how the system works so I just attended as I have done in the past. So now had to go through the palava of getting proof of appointment just to lobby an appeal against these vultures. Absolute joke of a firm, good luck getting any court to rule in your favour if it isn't overturned.

The most abusive and unprofessional company I had to deal with. A bunch of bullies.

I pulled into a dragonfly hotel car park to receive a phone call, the car park was empty, there were no spaces outlined, the surface was cracked & uneven in places, and no one was patrolling, the phone call lasted around half an hour, in which I never left my vehicle.





I have emailed the manager again, and she has replied that she can t help because I wasn t a guest at the hotel.

Upon further investigation of this situation, mainly using the Trip Advisor website, there are many reviews of this hotel from other people who have been caught in this scam just by simply dropping people off or picking people up have been charged, and have also tried to contact the hotel and head office with no response.

Why do the job at all then?!

Over time your response to these reviews (complaints) have become more dismissive, sarcastic & disrespectful, you keep saying you re registered with a governing body, been trading since 2006, a founder member etc. means nothing to us!

Most comments on here are from people who have just popped into a car park, and you use words like abusing there land & trespassing and then you deliberately make it difficult & confusing for people to contact you & appeal.

I ve worked full time since I left school, and I make things that help & save peoples lives on a daily basis, why don t you educate yourself, put something back, do some good in the world!

You don t do this job because you think it needs to be done, or you care about people abusing & trespassing on businesses land, nor do you do it because you re endorsed by some governing body, you do it because you re vexatious, and you enjoy it.

Ironically if I m right you ll respond with an even more dismissive we re sorry you feel that way comment.

Received a parking charge through the post. The photo provided was not my car or even my reg plate. What a pile a poo

Been trying to appeal but keeps saying "unable to process"
What is the problem?

UPDATE: was called due to the problem not being resolved but was hung up on.
So the question is: if it keeps saying "UNABLE TO PROCESS" this is an issue from the company side. not mine.

HOWEVER as a company please be reminded that you are working on behalf of the company who have hired you. With this in mind the customer service that you provide also gives said hiring company a bad reputation.
I understand that you may hear the sam grumbles each day but we all do in our jobs. The way that you as a company have personally delt with me has also put me off the place where i was when i parked. Also to tell as many people as i can about the place and not to go also about CE Ltd.
This is your doing not theirs.
End of the day you are customer service & enforcement, you can do both and still be friendly and courteous from your side.
I know this will be disregarded as you now have the money.

This people scam you i received a penalty charge notice and i paid the 60 in the 14days and try send me another letter with the same time and date but different pcn number and try say i owe 100 SCAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try threaten me by saying your gonna send baliffs when you cant you can only take me to court try me..

I got a letter trying to say I have a parking fine. Where is the proof no picture, location, time or date of the so called parking fine. Show me the proof of this. Completely unlawful. Your company accounts are overdue according to HMRC companies house... hmmmmm

I would like more information please on where I stand in regards to the letter I received yesterday (8th February 2021) claiming that I have an apparent parking charge notice from back in January 2020 and threatening me with court proceedings etc and to just pay the apparent parking charge.

Firstly, this is the first letter I have EVER received from yourselves even though you have said on the letter that you have written to me on several occasions and Secondly, this particular car park has 3 hrs free parking, I use this regularly and I m certain I have never exceeded this in the whole time Iv been parking there so need to see proof of the infringement please to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.

i received today a fine from an area i was never in or visited - they are illegally sending these demands out

Old tenant received a PCN...first letter came through today. Have tried to contact to let CEL know this person does not live here and to get this mail redirected however no option to speak via phone or contact via email.

Can someone please get in touch so you can update your system and send letters to the correct address.

Update - Review changed from 1-3 star due to receiving a response...however would be much more ideal to have a contact number people could use to get in touch.

I was contacted by the company I lease my car from and advised that they had received a Parking Charge Notice and that they have shared my details with Civil Enforcement Ltd. I was also advised Civil Enforcement Ltd would be writing to me directly to issue the PCN.

The same day I went onto the Civil Enforcement Ltd website to determine where the charge had been issued. It turned out, it was on an occasion that I parked in a grocery store car par; purchased a car parking ticket; did my grocery shop; and I was refunded the cost of the car parking ticket by the cashier when I handed her the other half of the parking ticket that wasn t placed on my dashboard as evidence of payment.

Despite being informed by the lease company that I will be contacted within the next 14 days in writing by Civil Enforcement Ltd, I appealed the same day I was aware of the PCN on Civil Enforcement Ltd s website and included photographic evidence of the car parking receipt I purchased and a copy a statement that confirmed payment to the store on the date and time period the PCN was issued.

To date, I've not received any communication from Civil Enforcement Ltd directly and it's been more than 35 days since I submitted the appeal online. I ve also checked with the company that I lease the car from to determine if they have received any further communication from Civil Enforcement Ltd and they have confirmed that no additional correspondence has been sent to them.

Fortunately, I ve kept a log of events and copied screen shots of the appeal prior to submitting online. It s proven impossible to have a direct conversation with anyone employed by Civil Enforcement Ltd and this is now beginning to feel quite unprofessional.

On a positive note, I will continue to keep a log and photographic evidence of my attempts to make contact and would encourage other to do the same.

I used pay and display in 2017 and paid for the ticket (stupidly didn t keep it) 2 months later a letter arrived saying I didn t pay, after disputing this they then confirmed I did pay but not in the correct time frame which is a load of More

I stayed over the time in free parking. I was sorting my dad's stuff out as he had just died. My head was not in right place. I explained this to them but they were not interested. They now got me a ccj. I have called them like loads a times. Never get to speak to anyone. Seems I won't be paying so bring on the bailiffs. I know exactly how to deal with them low life's. I was willing to pay halve now and other at different date. Won't get a penny now. Bailiffs will get eaten by my dog not that ill open door to therm

Update: Whilst it is never nice to receive a parking fine, the service I have personally received from Civil Enforcement Ltd. since my original review has been very helpful, reasonable and prompt.

Hello, would it be possible for someone to contact me please? I have received a letter stating that a County Court Claim was made against me in November 2019 for a parking violation prior to that. I didn't receive the original fine or claim letter because I moved address. However, my V5C has been up to date since February 2019. I have tried to appeal, but it seems as though I can no longer do this.

I am not adverse to paying a fine but would appreciate knowing the original date, location and sum of the fine. I am unable to contact anyone through your site so a number or email address would be appreciated?
