It was horrible experience i had when i brought in...

It was horrible experience i had when i brought in my iphone 6 to look at two days ago at this location.

My brand new iphone 6 got uncomfortably warm after 3 minutes of use - normal use, such as checking emails, sending texts and etc. Initially i was told that was normal by a tech. However, i proved him how warm it was after a minute of texting. Instead of helping me finding the solution, he told me it didn't happen to him while he was playing video on this.

Long story short, when i mentioned i had being an Apple's Royal customer for last 5-6 years. I just hate to switch to Samsung. However, now with the service that i was receiving, i might be thinking about getting it switched. I was told that was option out there. I could switch anytime i want it to.

Just wonder if Apple becomes too arrogant to take care their 5 years old customers like me. Or, it was just the store that i visited.

Anyway, my iphone 6 is still uncomfortably warm after 3 minutes of use.

Not that I was a big fan of Apple before going her...

Not that I was a big fan of Apple before going here but my experience today was horrible. Even though I had an appointment I still had to wait in line outside of the building because it was so disorganized an chaotic inside. The was told even though they were ahead of schedule that it would take two hours to get my screen replaced. When I came back I had to wait in line outside again for 15 minutes before they let me in the store. When I finally did get my phone back they had to wipe it for "calibration" but couldn't be bothered to restore it.

I haven't felt this unwelcomed in a store in a long time. Me asking basic questions about the Watch4 seemed to be too exhausting for the employee to barely even look up at me and reply. There were two employees in the back corner complaining about "how hard their job is..." as they were leaning up against a table not asking if i needed any assistance. LOL.

This Apple Store is very helpful, the employees were very courteous and helped me a lot while I was in there. My sons phone was cracked all the way and I checked online to see how much it would cost to fix it and i went to Apple.inc and it said it was 79$, I went to the store and I picked it up 3 days later. Thanks Apple! Bu the was i love your new emoji No offense!

A total scam. Brought a computer to trade in. They turned it on and it worked. They refused Payment with gift cards because it exceeded their daily limit. Really? Sent me home to buy it online. When I returned the next day the computer had stopped working. Literally the computer worked for four years, brought it to the apple store and it stopped working, which conveniently decimated the value of the trade. Get like a total scam.

Waited over an hour to see a technician about my iPhone 7 Plus, but got great service from Tyler. I don't generally like the Apple store process, there are plenty of techs just walking around the store with their iPads. However, Tyler more than made up for the wait. He was super patient and knowledgeable.

Got my AirPods and Apple Watch here. I appreciated them moving up my appointment since I had gotten out of work early and didn t want to wait 2 more hours. I just didn t like the two guys there who treated me like I couldn t afford what I was buying. They didn t even want to let me in they made me wait behind people who didn t have an appointment. The condescending attitudes makes me just not want to come back. I can get stuff delivered to my house instead.

Travis is amazing!! He turned what could have been a horrible day into a great one. It s employees like Travis that make customers so loyal to Apple. I can t speak for the entire store itself because this was one isolated experience, but Travis made my visit great.

I found this place a bit creepy and too sterile for my taste. But the staff was helpful and my cousin didn't have to wait too long for her phone. staff was also very clear on where to meet the person that would help her. That's a plus.

The staff is far from being genious at this store. Went in asking to buy a specific iPhone in cash without a contract and ended up walking out with nothing because the associate bodged it all up telling me I needed a contract. I ended up buying online instead.

I have never been a big fan of Apple. I myself have a Galaxy S5, but for Christmas I bought my 19 year old son a IPhone 6. The screen cracked and come to find out I didn't have insurance on the phone. After many phone calls around town and to Verizon I decided to call Apple. Customer Service was really nice quoted me $109.00 to replace the screen. They walked me through how to set up an appt via Apple Website. I was able to set up the appt for an hour later. I take the phone down to Apple on the Plaza, the store was really busy which I was surprised because I've never been there, but I was greeted right away, and placed at table with the service tech. The tech was super helpful and replaced the phone free of charge because the phone was bent from being in the pocket so much and that made the screen break. My son or I had no idea. I was prepared to pay for screen replacement. I am now a big fan of Apple. For them to treat us like they valued us as a customer was awesome. I highly recommend this store. You now have a customer for life.

I had a problem with my aging laptop: certain keys would quit working intermittently. I had an appointment yesterday and Franco took care of me. He explained what the diagnostic tests would reveal and what my options would be. Franco was professional, polite and knowledgeable and he made sure that I understood everything. I liked that--a continuous check-in on understanding. That's what makes outstanding customer service! Thank you!

Retail heaven. Tall ceiling, plenty of space to play with all the tech, and lots of friendly employees. The giant tv is impressive as well. Sitting on blocks, not chairs or stools is a little odd, when getting help. Overall, it's worth a stop in to see what retail can be.

Visited the store many times over the years to purchase computers, phones, accessories & repair services. Staff are very friendly and there are plenty of them to make sure you get helped quickly.

It's a little different for service requests though, you will usually have to wait if you walk in without a appointment as there are only a few technicians. So make sure you make your appointment before visiting the store. I'm sure this is common at all Apple stores, just wanted to note that it applies to this store as well.

Multiple times I have had issues with the store having stock of a particular product, which wasn't even a newly released item either. I think they could do better in this area as a lot of people are probably turned away due to not having inventory of what they came in looking for. Also many times I have spoken to someone about a particular product and then when I am ready to purchase they check and it's not available in inventory. It would be much easier if they knew what they had and let you know before going through all sorts of information and not being able to walk out with one.

Other then those few issues, the overall experience was always great as far as communication and comfortable atmosphere.

Great apple store. It was packed to the point it was hard to move through the store but despite that I was assisted immediately upon entering the store. I told them what I was looking for, they walked directly to the item and wrang it up on a cell phone. I paid and was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Really was pretty amazing for how busy the store was.

My iPhone was randomly shutting off, and I had heard there was possibly a recall on the battery, so I immediately went to the Apple Store to have them check it out. I knew it was a busy store, but never would've expected a 2 hour wait at 10:50am on a Monday. Someone greeted me immediately, and was told I'd be next to be checked in by a guy standing nearby. After more than 5 minutes of waiting, someone else finally came to check me in. I was disappointed in how little this guy was able to help. I had asked if he had any information on the recall I had heard about....nothing--didn't even try asking one of the 15 other employees standing around. He scheduled an appointment for me, but I never got a confirmation like he said I would. It's a shame such a good product is associated with such pitiful customer service.

I went there yesterday to buy a dji drone and an iPhone 7 plus. The service was terrible, and I was treated with attitude. One scum who attempted to help straight up told me that he 'doesn't know what that stuff was' how do you not know what you're selling? I walked in there to get those two things, the rude comments and unwillingness to talk made me walk out of there. By far the worst Apple store I have came across.

Frustrating and surprised to see Apple standards declining so rapidly. They sold a defective iPhone 8 with malfunctioning home button. Despite being in store many times complaining about it, they just deferred the complaint saying we don t have any available appointment with tech with no alternative presented to me. What should I do until it got fixed ? May be I should consider getting products other than Apple.

went to my appointment about a phone I bought from another company and was told it was beyond repair. I was told that I could buy a new phone that would be unlocked. Paid $380 for the phone only to find out, the phone isn't unlocked and I have to go back to the same phone company who sold me the first phone that didn't work. I paid $263.99 for the first phone and they are refusing my refund. Also, apple wouldn't sale me the other phone without giving them the one I had. The phone I bought from the apple store was not new, was not unlocked, and I was played!!! If any service person looks in the phone info, it says I got the phone in August 2017. I bought the phone from this store TODAY!!! Was told it's info is from the other phone. I BOUGHT THAT PHONE ON 3/22!!! Then I asked for a refund and the old phone back and was told "all replacement phone sales are final". This has all been a HUGE waste of my time and has tremendously tested my patience! Now, I have to go back to the company who screwed me over to get this new phone unlocked! I will be selling it! NEVER WILL I EVER SET FOOT IN THIS STORE OR PURCHASE ANOTHER APPLE PRODUCT!!! FIRST TIME IN THIS STORE AND DEFINATELY THE LAST!!!!

The store was nice and clean and the sales associate made an effort to socially distance. The only odd thing was that they did not let us use the bathroom. I would understand if I was passing by but not when we bought a product and made an appointment as customers. Legally, businesses have to provide a working restroom so I'm not sure how they can do this.

I was having a really tough year with Apple products and have made close to a dozen trips into the Apple Store for issues I've been having (I'm on a first name basis with quite a few of the Apple employees). This most recent time, I came in to buy an iPad case (recently purchased an iPad) and was having issues with another product. After talking to a few employees, a gentleman named Oscar helped me out. He's always been super helpful and I've spoken to him several times before. He recognized that I had been having a tough time and empathized with my concerns. Instead of pushing back on my requests, he took care of me 100%. It made my week! Wonderful customer service. Thanks to Oscar, I'll be an Apple customer for life.

What knowledgeable staff. Marcus fixed my battery problem in under 10 minutes. He was empathetic, very knowledgable about Apple products, and provided many solutions for me. They did this at no cost. I was very impressed by how quickly I was helped and the level of professionalism at the Apple Store in the Plaza.

This store used to be very helpful when making purchases and figuring out what and when you can purchase an item. However, on our last few visits it s been like pulling teeth to get any information at all. They provide as little as possible and rather than helping to make a sale, have simply pointed us to computers to do it ourselves without helping to compare items at all.

Bought the first apple iPhone ever got issued brought back to ATT but got refused service and they blamed Apple and told to take it to Apple went to Apple they blamed back to ATT because of less then 14 days. i had problem with my laptop, they told me to wait for 2 hours and then i return back in correct time .. and they said. i appointment got cancelled and rescheduled after 30 mins . apple tech support took my laptop , he just said..its water damage and need to send it to support.and he didn't even try to fix the issue and he gave back the laptop and went back to store.

The staff makes you feel like family here. Easy to see from the street. Conveniently across the street from a Starbucks and a short walk from a parking garage. Make a Genius Bar appointment ahead of time, and they re very helpful to customize your experience.

My daughter went to pick up the macbook pro at the apple store on 227 Nichols Rd, Kansas City, MO 64112. I bought it for her online. The website said it should be ready in about an hour and the status said "processing." When she arrived 3 hours later it wasn't ready. She was told "it might be 10 minutes, it might be tomorrow"! She spoke to 4 employees, none of whom were helpful, and one woman on the phone who was rude to her. Even with an expedite by the rep i spoke to, it was not ready until the next day! Outrageous! 24 hours to pull a laptop out of stock and get it set up? I am still angry re how disrespectfully my child was treated. If it was not required by kcai i would have told your "geniuses" 1 star cause i can't leave 0.

Went there to pick up my wife's new iPhone. The sales guy appeared arrogant. We thought we got the phone updated and working. My Google Pixel was much easier to setup. It is ok, my wife likes her phone. But unfortunately she can not access her emails after she got home. Nobody checked that before we left the store.

I have always wondered when I had an iPhone why they have a Genius Bar there if you need a repair. I never have met a genius in there yet.

Worst customer service ever. Genius bar? A joke. Been here 4 times and still can't fix the problem. At Any given time there are 4-5 employees standing around, but yet they're to busy to help anyone who is a walk-in or been standing around for 3 hours.
This store tested my temper. At one point I notice I was starting to get rude because I was so upset with the customer service. I don't like getting like that and had to leave. Maybe today will be the day the genius bar gets it right and I can use the $3000 computer I have purchased from Apple, and maybe the support Apple highly holds them self to will actually be worth something today.

Poor service. My immigrant friend keep getting screwed over. He phone (she is 60 years old) was a short time outnof warrenty. They had her buy another, cheap phone of same kind. Only has a 90 warranty. I've had to take her phone there several times and they won't fix it. It has some issue tonwhere we're always haveing to bring it to the store to get it fixed. So much unwanted drama offer something that should be an easy fix. They see the errors, then deny there was ever anything wrong with that phone. It's a freaking lemon!

Of course, they say if we don't like driving there we can call Apple support and mail it to them, waiting weeks for the same result.

What hog wash! Must be pick in the old/infirm immigrant day there.

Seeing as apple has made the iPhone 12 unrepairable by 3rd party small companies, and started with batteries on the XR and then with the screen on the iphone 11 and up the 11 Pro max will be my last iphone and i guess i ll have to go back to the Note series, your a company worth around 2 trillion dollars and your trying to cut out small repair shops that can offer more affordable repairs, stimulate the economy, and put money into people that are not billionaire pockets and keep phones in circulation longer helping with E waste. I will never purchase another apple product again. So long Crapple!

Every interaction I've had with an employee has be...

Every interaction I've had with an employee has been pleasant (though at times rushed, given the amount of store traffic at that time). I've had an employee spend 15 minutes, which is forever in a retail environment, help me force a sync from my iPhone to my iCloud.

I've taken three workshops, each with a great instructor. Max workshop size: three students. Each time, we finished our topics and went on to more advanced issues.

Full disclosure: I have Apple Care on my MacBook Air. All I have to do is make an appointment at the Genius Bar, and my problem/question is immediately taken care of. I had my computer shipped off for monitor issues on a Monday and it came back on Thursday of the same week with an itemized list of repairs. The quoted price of the regular repairs was more than the price of my Apple Care ($250).

I think that if you go in knowing a little about how Apple (the retailer) works, you'll have a much better experience. I also believe that there are bad apples in every tree: sometimes you're just going to get a lazy idiot to talk to. My advice? Just leave the store and walk around for ten or fifteen minutes and then return. You'll get a different employee, and will most likely have a better experience.

All stores should strive for the great service I received. I arrived 20-30 minutes early for my appointment, the store was very busy. The associate that checked me in was professional. Justin my assigned tech started helping me 15 minutes before my actual appointment time. He had my Mac diagnosed in 10 minutes. Apple had it fixed in less than 12 hours at reasonable prices.

My computer stopped working spontaneously and I was very panicked. The staff took care of me right away and explained all of my options and what needed to be done. Thank goodness for Apple Care, everything was taken care of! They gave me a large window of time because they needed to order the part- but it only took two days for them to get the part in and to repair my computer. They went above and beyond and cleaned up my computer for me, which is small but oh so nice! They were extremely friendly throughout the process, definitely the nicest apple store/genius bar staff I have dealt with. I never write reviews- but this definitely warranted me taking time to write something positive.

ZERO Customer Service! I m an understanding, patient, and kind person but waiting 2 months to get a MacBook fixed under a Repair Program when everyone at the store tells me my MacBook is ELIGIBLE but not covered, and therefore I am forced to pay is just unacceptable. I have been provided NO reason as to why from the repair depot (an outsourced company) and therefore no one at the store knows why either. Seriously? So unprofessional. Managers here make NO exceptions and don t really help you, they re just there to make the store more revenue, they re not there to help you. Still can t get my MacBook fixed because no one will help! Managers, admins, and technicians none of them will help. Stay away from this place, and go to another Apple Store!

Came to this store at the beginning of the year for the battery program. Set up an appointment which is really just a rough estimate of a time frame that they apparently may or may not decide to contact you. I was never contacted. So I drove another 2.5 hrs today, only to be given the same option. When I mentioned what happened previously, I was told that we can t fix the past we can only do better going forward. You don t say? I ll definitely do better going forward. As a tech guy, I wanted to give Apple a chance after criticizing them for so long on their business model and practices. I got the 6s first year it was released, and was fairly happy for the life of my 6s. But this battery program fiasco is unacceptable. Don t buy Apple. You d be better served with a Google Pixel, or an OnePlus phone.

Nice, efficient and helpful sales staff. Not the case with the person who was supposed to help us set up and pair our Apple watch's. He did the absolute bare minimum. My husband and I felt as though we were being dismissed, probably due to our age. I mentioned I wasn't very knowledgeable about the watch even though this was my 2nd Apple Watch, and he actually questioned why I would purchase another one. The store was actually empty for an Apple Store and we were the only ones at the tables where they are supposed to set you up with your new watch.I called the store and reported the issue and was thanked for my comments.

My son got locked out of his I phone and they helped him out...however they did try to sell a kid a new phone and then looked at me like he was supposed to ask me for the money at which point I pointed out his phone is more upgraded then my own already and I am not paying for it. They eventually helped him get in but spent a little to much time trying to make the sell rather then trying to solve the problem. FYI sales people if the kids are already talking to you themselves mom and dad are letting them figure it out on their own and not throwing money at their problems however these kids still have I phones and should be given good customer service...pushed the sales thing a little harder then I liked by trying to convince him it was impossible to fix but he could trade in towards a new one before another associate did assist and fix the problem.
