Was told by Apple support online that I could drop my phone off and have it looked at when the next available tech had time. Went to the store and they said they weren t sure what they told me online but that s not how it works and I would have to wait 45 minutes at the least to see a tech. Well I m disappointed because I just wasted my lunch break driving over and seeing how they could help...oh ya they couldn t...

Terrible service! I was there on November 4 at 12:15 p.m., to see about buying either an iPad Air or Pro. Wanted to understand the differences and what I would be getting for the price I would be paying. I had already done some research but had additional questions. The salesman I was assigned was more interested in checking his own phone, and was totally distracted by that. Was not helpful at all. Suggested I "play around" with their in-store models to find out which I liked better, but wasn't willing to take the time to listen to my questions and answer them. He was a complete dufus. I went there ready to spend money but left after my encounter with this guy with my money in my pocket. I am also an Apple shareholder and so will be complaining to corporate about this.

I just wanted to say thank you to Jeff who is the manager who listened to my concerns about a broken phone issue and took care of the issue. Also a big thank you to Josh who helped me when I came out there to get it resolved. Instead of having me wait on a part he went above and beyond in helping me. Thank you sir. I also can't forget Gilbert who helped me out with a few purchases. Thanks guys.

Came from Joplin to get phone fixed before we left for vacation. Nice man took our info and said be an hour. Came back and waited an hour and half then got text saying would be another hour. We left! Green shirts were all over the place. I know each have different jobs but to see them gathered talking running in and out of back room was disheartening. Can't believe there were that many people in front of us even if some had appointments. Got to be a better way. If you know you see this many customers get more employees and more organized .

Buying an iPhone here didn't took much time. Select model and color swipe the card,get the device and you are done.
Buying vegetables took more time than shopping iphone. :P

I dont like how apple is paying 20+ people to stand around and not know anything. The one guy that fixed our problem was great. And i told apple that as well. And way was there some many people not customers just people hanging around inside making all the noise they did not need or want anything. Get a little more professional. This place was nothing like the one in new york NY

Specifically called apple and confirmed I would be able to get my phone fixed same evening and they would be able to fit me in before driving 30 minutes. Arrive and the apple genius or, what ever they called them selfs with the nastiest attitude told me they would not be able to help me even after confirming that they would over the phone directly to the store. Regardless I understand if you are short staffed or over whelmed no need to talk to me like a special needs person. The worst customer service I have ever received in my whole life. I sure hope they wouldn't talk to there father or mother the same way they do to there customers seeking help.

I HAVE TO SAY AFTER DEALING WITH APPLE AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE LAST 4 DAYS AND NOT GETTING ANY ANSWERS.. THE APPLE STORE ON THE PLAZA WAS AMAZING. I WALKED IN WAS GREETED RIGHT AWAY AND WITHIN 10 HAD MY PHONE FIXED. THIS WAS ONE OF THE EASIEST PROBLEMS TO HAVE FIXED AFTER I RECIEVED THE RUN AROUND FROM APPLE ICARE. THEY WERE AMAZING AND I WILL ALWASY RETURN TO THIS APPLE STORE IF I HAVE ANY OTHER ISSUES.

Wish I would've got the name of the guy who helped! Went in to trade my old iPhone 7 for credit on the XR. The guy was straight to the point, incredibly helpful, kind, and made the purchase incredibly quick! I was expecting to take far longer, but was pleasantly surprised. Love the phone as well!

As soon as we indicated that we were not there to buy something, they pointed us toward a laptop we could use and a phone number to call. Then they scattered to pounce on the next victims coming in the door.

My iPhone was randomly shutting off, and I had heard there was possibly a recall on the battery, so I immediately went to the Apple Store to have them check it out. I knew it was a busy store, but never would've expected a 2 hour wait at 10:50am on a Monday. Someone greeted me immediately, and was told I'd be next to be checked in by a guy standing nearby. After more than 5 minutes of waiting, someone else finally came to check me in. I was disappointed in how little this guy was able to help. I had asked if he had any information on the recall I had heard about....nothing--didn't even try asking one of the 15 other employees standing around. He scheduled an appointment for me, but I never got a confirmation like he said I would. It's a shame such a good product is associated with such pitiful customer service.

This is the best Apple store in the KC area. The manager is super friendly if you ever have to talk with her and the staff is generally pretty helpful, and as with most Apple Store's, the place is always busy. There is free parking around, but you might have to walk from the parking garage around the side of the complex.

I have been to this store many times, and I had mixed feelings about it. When you buy something, they get to you pretty quickly, but when you need a service, man, it takes forever.
You wait, and then they point you to another line, and you wait there, and wait even more until finally they get your attention.
I needed to replace the battery. I know it was a hype, yet instead of 1 week of waiting it took 3, and instead of 1 hour repair it takes 3. And there is just one person, ONE. Well, if you don t have enough staff, get more staff. You know when it s in great demand, why do you need have long lines?
I just don t like when they tell you one thing, then it turns to be another, and you are on the schedule, that does not make me happy.
And the worst is the attitude from the worker like if you don t like it, go find something else .
If you want a better experience, go to Leawood. Though this store is closer, but that was the last time I d ever be there again.

Got ignored by the first guy. He told me he would be right with me, and then took two people that came in the door. Another guy offered to help, but still left a bitter taste to be asked to spend that much money and get treated like that. It's not like I don't love my Apple..... We have 2- IPhone 7s, 1-iPhone 6, an IPad Pro and an IPad air2. Great products, but not sure the store is worth the trip.

I have to say that I was fairly anti-apple customer service before coming here. I had a laptop with a major issue. These guys got me in quickly on a very busy day and got my computer repaired. Was very impressed with their professionalism - did a lot to fix poor previous experiences.

Awesome service in and out in less than 45 min with no wait time. We did not call ahead, no appt needed, no lines anywhere, and my 14 year old girl with no visable means to ask anyone anywhere anything did it all with her head held high and her new phone in hand.

On April 10, 2021, My mom, brother, and I went to the Apple store to buy a MacBook Pro 13-inch. We did buy the MacBook. Anyway, the salesperson who served us was helpful, understanding, patient, and friendly with us, in contrast to the other salespeople we spoke to before him. The salesperson we spoke to before him was disrespectful and not understanding. We did not care for his attitude at all.

On April 12, 2021, I spoke to a specialist at the genius bar about my MacBook Pro 13-inch. I had an issue with the Macbook, so I had to go back to the Apple store three days after buying the laptop. I did schedule an appointment with a specialist online two days before the appointment. Before I met with the specialist, I had to wait in line for a pretty long time even though I made an appointment. The issue I had with my MacBook is a gray static screen would show up every time I shut down the laptop. When I met with a specialist, he told me what the problem was and fixed it. It wasn't a serious issue like I thought it was. The specialist had a pretty good attitude, and also he was understanding and helpful.

Walked in with iPad problems..given a 45 min wait time but had to wait an hour before helped. Wait was worth it! My iPad had locked up and I needed it open. Service person very nice open my iPad within 20 mins and no charge. This is the best customer service I ve experienced in a store. Much better than going to a cellular store for assistance. I will not call names!

Complete scam. Take your computer to any other repair shop that can handle Macs and you will get better, more honest service at half the price. They tried to charge me $700 for something a local repair shop took care of for $300. Better yet, stop buying Macs as the quality has gone down dramatically!

*This is a post specifically for a programming workshop with a group of middle/high schoolers. I have not used this store to purchase or fix Apple products.*
The instructors Chris (?) and another nice lady did a great job of working with the group. They showed expertise and enthusiasm for the content. They helped the girls do block programming on iPads and do some programming on Spheros. Would definitely recommend to student groups who want an easy, but fun programming workshop.

Pretty abysmal customer service. I called 5 times over the course of 30 min for one question; a starting quote on a Mac Book Pro screen replacement. Should have taken 4 min or less. Technical support & Repair NEVER picked up the phone. Multiple attempts, no progress. Call and ask to be connected directly to sales for a specific phone for business and you get a human in 20 sec. You CANNOT run a business model this way, 90% to 95% sales and 5% service does not win you loyalty points. You will and DID lose a sale! ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!

Great service! The salesperson was very helpful and friendly! Didn t have to wait just walked right in and got my questions answered about my new iPhone. Answered all my questions and gave me helpful tips as well. Definitely recommend this Apple location. I will definitely be going to this location if I have any further questions or concerns about my new iPhone. Great experience very happy that I switched to an iPhone!

I miss the old Apple Store, sure it was small but I felt like a customer when I went there. The new store feels like a concentration camp for Apple customers with broken devices. If you're looking to buy something 10 staff members will swarm to help you. If you're looking for tech support and you don't have an appointment it's a 2+ hour wait. Need an appointment? Sorry they are booked solid for the next 3 days. Just a frustrating experience all around here.

Apparently at this store it's appropriate customer service to expect customers to wait three hours for a QUOTE. Not repair. Just wanted an understanding of cost for repair. And when I asked incredulously if waiting 3 hours was the only way to get a quote the tech gave a ballpark "$700 maybe, definitely not more than that." Um, Ok, what if it's $400? Shame on you guys. Happy to wait my turn if my computer gets serviced but that is pretty poor customer service to expect someone to wait that long for a quote.

Did Apple give me a new phone? Unfortunately no! I took my cracked screen iPhone 6 to this place and paid the price for fixing it. They tried but could not fix it and they gave me a "new" phone. I was so happy. It had a problem in one week and they gave me another "new" iPhone 6. That one also had some technical problems after around 6 months and they gave me another "new" iPhone 6. Yaaay! It had still warranty from the store. It had a problem again after around 9 months but it does not have warranty on it. I had just finished paying the phone in 18 months. I took it to this store again. They checked it and asked me $299 price to fix it. Nothing wrong about the screen but the phone was dead.

Does anyone enjoy going to the Apple Store? In my view, it's part of the price of owning an Apple product, so it's sometimes worth doing, but it's never a great experience. It's often packed with people, so it's loud and kind of chaotic.

Horrible customer service! I ve been to this store three times for my $400 Apple Watch that is a little over 30 days old. I waited over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment and was only seen then because I complained. They already tried to resolve my issue in store unsuccessfully so now instead of just replacing my watch they had me send it in for repairs. Why should a brand new $400 watch need to be sent for repairs? More importantly why should I be inconvenienced with a 7-10 day wait time after buying a $400 watch? The store should have took the watch back, gave me a new one, and sent the old one for repairs on their own time. It could have been sold as refurbished after it was fixed. I spend thousands of dollars on apple products for myself alone, not counting the rest of my family, for such horrible customer service.

Very neat store where you can browse or buy Apple products. Just like any other Apple stores it looks very contemporary. Vast space and a lot of displays to look at. A lot of staff willing to assist you. There s a seating area for your companions or kids to relax while you are shopping. It s in a great location at the heart of Country Club Plaza where you can walk around after shopping.
