They told me come back after 2 hours for battery change and update. When I came back they changed the battery but no update then I find myself updating my phone in apple store and had to find them to ask question for each step.
They even didn t say sorry.

Second time picking up and item. There will be a like due to the COVID situation. Employees are friendly and don t push extra items on you. Nice to see security too. Store is nice and clean!

Overall bad experience just trying to get a battery replaced. Long wait and unprofessional help staff. FYI don t go there thinking you can get your battery replaced. They don t have them in stock and it will take 2 weeks to get them in. That would be helpful info to put on the website.

I would recommend talking to apple over the phone first before trying to come into the store. They will set you up with a guaranteed appointment and it makes everything much easier. I have an iphone 5s, the volume buttons stopped working and the screen has a delayed response time. I called customer care, they created a case and when I walked into the store to my appointment it was replaced right way. I save lots of time and while I waited a few minutes in the store I looked around at all the cool expensive products and accessories. The staff that I spoke with was very polite and helpful, hope this is good advice.

My laptop stopped charging just hours before an important deadline. I made a genius bar appointment. They were friendly, my appointment was on time and they were able to fix the issue on the spot, albeit temporarily. I went back again when the problem recurred and again they managed to fix it and does not seem to have recurred.

After waiting 90 minutes for a technician, we finally got Jessie an uncaring, unhelpful and unprofessional technician. His only solution after looking at the phone for maybe a minute was to turn it off and on when it locked up. None of the associates seemed to care either.
They were too busy looking at their own phones and chomping on gum.

Not happy with service. We have been an Apple family of 4 since iphone 3 came out. We have Ipads, iphones, ipods, Mac computers, you name it. Daughters phone under warranty and phone broke. They gave us a refurbished one on July 8, 2016 and gave her a 90-day warranty. Phone port has been working off and on since September. She finally makes it home to take it in to Apple and the port is diagnosed as being broken. However, since this is the first time she could get in and she is 4 weeks over her 90 day warranty her option is to buy another refurbished one for $299 or a brand new one. Seriously that is their solution another refurbished one when their most recent one worked for less than 2 months before port started working off and on. Very disappointing that they do not stand by their products.

I walked in this afternoon to buy a new iPad Pro with keyboard and pen. I waited for over 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Staff members were standing around talking to each other. I even tried to get their attention and was ignored. I finally left because I was so frustrated by the lack of acknowledgement and courtesy.

I can't believe one of the world's most innovative companies has such abysmal customer service. I was given misinformation regarding the repair of my iPhone on my first visit to Apple, which snowballed into a horrendous mess. Apple did not take responsibility for this poor information. Moreover, the manager who asked me to follow up with her via phone was gone for an hour and a half during the period of time she specifically asked me to call her. When I tried to connect with another manager, I was left on hold for 16 minutes before my call was disconnected.

Apple might make some nice products, but the lack of support for them and the dearth of customer care prevent me from buying their products again. I hope I like my Droid.

I went to the store to get my AirPods fixed and I had to wait almost an hour and a half just to see a technician. When no technician ever approached me I got up and left unhappy.

I have to share this long story to show how dysfunctional this store is.

Long story:

I went in the store to get my AirPods checked out. I believe there is a hardware issue with the right AirPod. I went in around 5:08pm and talked to employee A and got on the list to see a genius . I left the store and waited for a text from Apple to see a genius . I received a text at 5:30 that Apple was almost ready for me at the Genius Bar. I received another text at 5:40 telling me they were ready for me. I entered the store and went to an Apple employee, employee B, he input what I was wearing and instructed me to sit in the Genius Bar area. A different Apple employee, employee C, then sat down with me and wrote down the serial number of my AirPods and asked simple questions and informed me a technician would be with me shortly . I waited for 25 minutes until 6:15. A technician did not approach me so I decided to talk to another Apple employee, employee D, asking what spot I was in line. He asked my name and I was not on the list in his iPad. He searched my name and saw I had been there since 5:45 and thought someone had already attended to me. He asked another Apple employee, employee E, if he had talked to me and employee E seemed confused. Employee D then told me it shouldn t be more than 15 minutes for a technician to see me. I waited until 6:30 and again no technician came to see me. I went to employee D and asked again what spot I was in line. He said I still had two people ahead of me. I then told him I was unhappy and left.

It amazes me I had to see 5 employees and wait almost an hour and a half to just get a genius to look at my AirPods.

I wish I could say better things about this place, but sadly I cannot. There used to be a handful of great employees there, and now, they just have a lot of snobby hipsters working there that will do anything in their power to answer their question and somehow simultaneously making you feel like you are a complete moron... Great products and you can get good help from time to time, just now that you'll feel quite inadequate and question your whole existence the whole time you're there.

Many retailers sell Apple products and purchases can also be made directly from Apple online. There is no value in going to an Apple store or this location. Unless you live or work in the neighborhood, it's a total waste of time.

The clerk who was supposed to assist with initial set up on a new device was rude, useless, and disrespectful. I left and finished things at home. Visiting the Apple store was actually detrimental to the brand and made it far less likely I would purchase additional products or services in the future.

I had two appointments one at 4:40 pm for MacBook and 4:50 pm for my iphone. I arrived at 4:30 pm and checked in with two apple reps at the front. They told me someone would be with me within 5 minutes and to go sit down on a bench. I waited until 5:15 pm and then asked another rep the status of my wait, directing me to someone else. Then I waited another 10 minutes, and another rep told me my appointments had been cancelled by me or an Apple rep. I CLEARLY did NOT cancel my appointment. They told me they were sorry but it would be another 30 minute wait for another rep, because they were extremely busy. The store had approximately 20 apple reps standing around doing nothing, and the store was not even close to being busy. The service was abysmal and embarrassing.

I destroyed my last one by running out the door for work when I tripped and launched my old one down a flight of stairs in the rain! So I was in dire need of a new one!

My husband has an iPhone 6sPlus, that has had problems ever since we bought it from T-Mobile. Every time we take it back to T-Mobile, they send us to the iPhone store downtown. Last time it quit working, this store sent him to the one in Leawood. They fixed it, now, it is doing the same thing and T-Mobile sent us back downtown. They tell him there is nothing wrong with it. He calls me while with the person and I couldn't hear him and he couldn't hear me. They told him there was nothing they could do and he could buy another phone. We do not have the money to buy another phone. He needs his phone, he has very serious health issues and needs to be able to call for help when he needs it. These big companies are ruining the country. They take your money and then don't give a damn. I guess it's okay if you have money to burn, we do not. We will not be buying any more iphones. My kid's and their families do no buy iphones, they swear Samsung phones are much better. There are 15 of them, I think we will follow suit.

I stop by this store to replace my iphone 6 battery, first they said they can replace the battery for me, they they zig zag saying that my iphone 6 has water in it, but it is the new iphone 6, they try to get me buy a refurbished iphone 6 as replacement for $299. It looks like they try to get my phone for free and then later sell it back to someone else. and Then I got someone else phone with pre-installed battery. Apple is a very bad company. Absolutely horrible customer service. Apple Care telephone service diagnosed a malfunctioned airport blue tooth card and instructed me to bring it to an apple store for replacement. Unfortunately I had to bring it to the Country Club Plaza Apple store, despite knowing about their reputation, since the Leawood store was closed for several weeks. My first mistake. This lead to 4 weeks of chicanery from the technician and management during which nothing was done to fix my computer despite driving in from Lawrence for the appointment. The technician was rude, condescending,and arrogant whose only interest appeared to be to get out of working on the computer. (I had paid $349.00 for the warranty which was good until 8/22/15).The managers never would come to the phone and I would be waiting until I was disconnected. When I finally called Apple Inc the problem was resolved promptly.

My phone had never worked properly since I got it. I had no appointment , thanksgiving weekend , they were super busy but asked me to come back when store opened the next day. They couldn t fix my microphone problem , so they gave me a new replacement phone right there ! Very happy with their friendly service too.

I had to take my phone into the Apple store last week because the screen was flashing like a strobe light. I made a reservation at to so call Genius Bar for 4:40 p.m. I only had to wait about 5 minutes before I was seen by one of the techys. I told them of my problem and they did some tests and came to the conclusion that my LED was messed up. My choices were to get a new phone or go home and back up my data. Now, I don t know about you but I hate going to the Apple store. It s always busy and like a zoo in the store. And like any IPhone user I was worried about all the data that was stored on my phone. Most of my pictures on my phone were back up but I was concerned about my contacts. The employee told me that my contacts should back up. I chose to get a new phone. The employee activated my new phone and I was ready to go or at least I thought I was. Upon leaving the store I realized that my phone wasn t getting any service. I was furious! The employee did give me a card and I hit the *2 key since my provider is Sprint. I spoke with Sprint and the lady advised me that I need to shut my phone on and off in order for the activation to work. This is something the employee at the Apple store didn t advise me of. After I shut my phone on and or it did in fact work again. I went to take make a call and my contacts were ALL GONE!!! Now, I don t know about you but I haven t really remembered a telephone number since I ve had a cellphone! So, needless to say, I was very upset when I realized all my contacts were gone. I still had the card that the employee at the Apple store gave me so I called the 800 number on the card.

I was connected to Tom in Reno. Tom immediately knew that I was VERY frustrated just by the tone of my voice. Tom did EVERYTHING to reassure that by the end of our phone call he would have everything sorted out when it came to my phone. What Tom did the other employee at the Apple store should ve done. I ve only been an Apple user for just a little over a year so I m still learning about all the amazing things my phone can do. Tom asked me to go into my settings and look to see when my phone was last updated. My phone last updated on August 1, 2013. Tom told me that all my information would be stored in iCloud and I should be able to get all my contact back and most of my pictures!! Tom was CORRECT!! I was able to get most of my pictures back on my phone and ALL of my contacts were back!! By the end of the call I was overjoyed that my phone was back to the way I had it prior to getting a new phone. Now, what I don t understand is why the employee at the Apple store didn t take the time to do this?!?!? I can tell you why because they are in SUCH a hurry to get folks out of the store that they don t take the time required to actually solve the problem!!

Thanks to Tom in Reno for taking the time to make me smile that evening. Kudos to him for actually giving a damn!

Despite being crowded the few times I've been in, it seems pretty well staffed. However, that staff doesn't really seem to be doing anything most of the time. Just standing and staring into space, watching stuff on iPads, or talking to other staff. Also, standing there for an hour while my wife's device was being set up, I noticed that it's just intensely boring. Just a really boring space. Maybe that's why the employees seem so listless...

I now have an extra because I had to buy another before I could return the defective one. The manager said cords do not come damaged from the factory. 100s of millions of theses things are made, and they some how get 100% out without defects???

Really great place, quick service. Brought a macbook pro in for a new cooling fan. Turns out the unit was too old and they no longer stocked the parts but referred me to another repair place to get the job done. In the meantime, the genius bar folks replaced a bad key on my keyboard pro bono!

I was shocked at how easy it was to go in and have my battery replaced. The representatives were friendly, and I ended up not having to pay for the replacement. For a busy location they are definitely staffed accordingly which makes it easier on the customers to not have to wait for long periods
