Vert and Vogue is a wonderful boutique selling designer clothes. Nadira and her staff always make you feel special and have the talent to find just the right piece for you. They are never pushy but honest in their opinion and they are very knowledgeable about the designers they represent . A visit to V&V is something I invariably look forward to.
Vert & Vogue is a beautiful store with amazing staff and excellent clothes. I have been shopping there for four years now and am never disappointed when I walk in the store. There are always new clothes - and the selection ranges from semi formal to lounging cotton pants.
Local artists and clothing designers are promoted which has always been important to support in my mind. Their shoe selection is also awesome - flats, boots, heels. Definitely must check it out if you are in the Triangle!
Thoroughly enjoyed my approval box from Vert & Vogue! Although nothing can top actually being in the store, Nadira, Stephanie, and Kaitlin clearly took the same care and keen eye to composing the box because it was filled with beautiful pieces that were perfect for me. It brought some much-needed sunshine to me and I loved having my own mini fashion show at home. Merci V&V!

It's always such a pleasure to go shopping at Vert & Vogue! Everything is so beautifully curated & arranged, I never feel overwhelmed when I go into the store even though there is a lot to choose from. Not only that, but the employees and owners are incredibly warm and friendly. I used to never seek advice from store employees, but at Vert & Vogue everyone is so knowledgeable about the products and they give great advice--they genuinely want you to love what you buy. Even though you may end up spending more money than at the mall it is well worth it!

Oooh, I just love vert&vogue! Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable, and the clothes etc. are amazing. I love that they source ethically and sustainably, and that it's almost guaranteed that no one else will be wearing what I'm wearing. Also love that they are firmly rooted in the values of our community, supporting other Durhamites and partnering with local organizations. Parking is easy, too.

Enjoyed my first COVID shopping experience and it was wonderful! The V&V team take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. No others in the store, masks, gloves, and the incredible service V&V is known for. I came away with a few pieces I can't wait to wear. I wasn't sure if I would ever enjoy shopping again, but even in a mask and gloves, it was such fun!
For casual wear, this store cannot be beaten in terms of quality. They carry a wide selection of Men's and Women's clothing, and every piece is of the highest quality. I highly recommend.

I was reading the wonderful book "Lessons from Madame Chic" by Jennifer Scott. She suggests the concept of a "capsule wardrobe" - choosing about 10 quality pieces as the basis for your wardrobe. This is a GREAT way to think about clothing purchases - choosing few high quality pieces is best for the environment, for the people who make our products, and to refine our own sense of style. V&V would be a great place to start building a capsule wardrobe.

A wonderful store! Beautiful, well-made merchandise, an owner who has a great eye to put together an outfit, and genuinely caring people running V&V. An amazing example: Several months ago I had seen a blazer which I liked but couldn't really afford at the time. Recently I was notified that it was sale season at the store so I took a chance and asked by email if the blazer was still available. It wasn't. It had been sold. And then some hours later I received an email from Zoe of V&V with a link to a site where I could get the same blazer online at a huge discount. Zoe had decided to do some research for me even though it wouldn't result in any purchase from her. Extraordinarily kind of her. What a woman! What a store! (And I live in Manhattan where I have endless choices...I still love to shop at V&V whenever I'm visiting family in Durham.)

Beautiful shop filled with ethically-produced, high quality items (yes, prices are higher than what you'd find at the mall, but you really do get what you paid for). V&V does great work with community organizations, their customer service is top-notch, and they go out of their way to make the shop accessible with frequent public events. I have been coveting a pair of shoes that was in my cart for a while and the owner of the company kindly sent me an email that she would like to give me an additional discount since it is the last pair. Exceptional and Great experience with my first purchase at V&V. Now V&V is a new addition to my favorite online store and I would love to visit the store whenever I get a chance. Nothing replaces a REAL visit to Vert & Vogue to commune with the talented staff and explore new collections, but the time crunch between work and life makes V & V's online shopping an incredible convenience. The service is excellent---quick and smart recommendations about styles and sizes---and those 'HELP, what-should-I-wear-to-this?' questions, zippy shipping, and EASY returns, when necessary. SO thankful for V & V!!!

I was never inclined to believe that a clothing store could be a place I would want to return even when I didn't need clothes. But Vert & Vogue is truly something special. All of the staff have impeccable taste, intelligence, good humor, and a light sales touch. (By "light" I mean that one feels attended to and supported rather than badgered.) They have clearly created an atmosphere to inspire customer loyalty. It is impossible to be in the store and feel anything but elated. I think the air vents pipe in nitrous oxide. The clothes I leave with receive compliments from strangers, are easy to care for, and feel as comfortable as pajamas. (While they sell clothes from several designers, the Vert & Vogue brand shirts are my favorite brand.) Thank you, Nadira and Ryan, for your amazing creation that enriches Durham!
[UPDATE] One more observation after a few years of V&V clothes: They are excellent for travel. Clothing made this well is durable but lightweight, perfect for layering, and easy to hand wash and drip dry during a long trip. And Nadira and Ryan's good taste assures that you will not stick out as an American tourist wherever you go.
Although this boutique is geared towards women, they have a few sunglasses and watches for men. I found a great pair of Raen Sage sunglasses there, and had the expert opinions to make the right choice. Appreciate y all! Wonderful customer service!
V&V offers so much value that shoppers can't find elsewhere, especially online. Staff are extremely knowledgeable, personable, and fun and the shop has great variety. A lot of the best finds I have from V&V are things I didn't pick out but they suggested I try on. Nadira and Stephanie are warm people who truly love interacting with and getting to know their customers, and finding them something they'll be very happy with. They're also committed to making the Durham community better. Could not recommend this place any more highly. Truly my favorite shop.
