I was really pleased with the service and care I got at Gainesville Buick GMC. Most of the time, car dealerships try to take advantage of me since I am a female, and I did not feel that was the case here. I had a motor issue with my GMC Canyon and took it in. Ian in customer service was upfront about a recall on the cylinder head and told me about it before the mechanics even got under the hood. The problem was in fact the cylinder head recall and GMC covered the whole repair and my rental for a couple days. Honestly, I had no clue about the recall and he could have told me I had to pay for the $2,000+ repair- which I am sure that some dealerships try to do to some people.

Also, the estimated time to diagnose the problem was accurate and I was not waiting in the lounge all day. The time to fix the problem was accurate as well, and from what I understand, replacing the cylinder head can be a lengthy process.

Probably the most important part of my review is I told Ian that I asked for them to change the oil while they were working on my truck. Ian told me that since they were replacing the cylinder head, an oil change was included with the recall. Again, he could have just said ok and got another $40 out of me.

Also, when I turned in my rental, Enterprise was so busy, they did not have someone to drive me to the dealership, and Ian got someone to pick me up in the company van. When all was said and done and I had my truck back, they stayed open to finish my transaction about 40 minutes after closing, on a Friday night, for a transaction that did not make them any money whatsoever.

Overall, I am beyond pleased with the service I received at Gainesville GMC and I would not hesitate to take my truck there again for any issue- big or small.
