My care was wonderful. My issue is with coding and billing just like the lady who reviewed beneath me. I had an emergency surgery and coding thinks this is classified under maternity care because the emergency was with my fallopian tubes. No baby, no fetus, no maternity. It was a cyst. Insurance won't cover because I don't have maternity insurance. They've reviewed it and coding still thinks it's maternity. I don't know what to do anymore. They won't let me speak to anyone over at coding. I've got a pretty $16000 bill to pay all by myself.

My son waited in the ER for over 4 hours and was never called to see a doctor but they sure did take a 250 dollar payment while registering him. They asked for both of our social security numbers and address and place of employment in a room with the door wide open to the public hallway of the ER. Shameful

The disinterested nurses and entitled residents at the UNC hospital killed my father. I walked into his room after his surgery and the oxygen mask was completely off his face. He died from a lack of oxygen and a hospital staff that was too lazy to bother to check on him.

Worst experience of my life!!! I had two surgeries here after I severely broke my leg and ankle. The CNAs/nurse techs were nice but the nurses I had were TERRIBLE!! When I came out of this hospital both times in horrible pain by the way after my surgeries, I was crying and would have done anything to get out of there. There was a nurse named Katherine who treated me awful. I came out of surgery and was screaming in pain because my cast needed to be opened due to pressure , they stopped giving me the medication I needed so I was literally laying there suffering in pain. Screaming for at least an hour. I had to call my family to get them to get me some help. I had nobody to advocate for me and was tortured by this nurse literally. I have seen really bad nursing homes treat people better than I was treated. I will be writing lots of letters and turning this nurse in. 90% of my experience with this hospital was so bad no human should ever have to experience the things I did. I am now just dealing with orthopedics which Ive had more issues with another Nurse over there. My surgeon and the resident I had have been the only saving grace. These nurses need to retire if they are so miserable with what they do or get another job. This hospital got tons of money from my me and my insurance and I was treated like I was a pile of trash that they just wanted to get rid of.

Well organized and on time the day we were there. This is a teaching hospital associated with UNC Chapel Hill. They make great efforts to be friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food choices for visitors and staff is fully acceptable. The parking is ok and you can take covered walkway from the deck to the hospitals.

I was just there a couple days ago with my mom in the ER for evaluation. The staff were great! I don't like ER visits because the testing takes time and it ends up being a long day, but the staff did their best to keep us updated and keep things moving along. They also made sure mom had pain meds and was comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Very very very bad service at the emergency room I stayed there for five hours and without being seen or anything and I almost passed out because Of the bad headache and high fever and body ache that I have I left the hospital without being seen to go home and take some medicine This is ridiculous and I will make sure I will do something about it

They saved my life. Everyone was excellent from the janitors to the doctor's. I felt at home. My almost three week stay was wonderful. I had a large mass in my throat. They fix the problem. No else wanted to touch me. I'm truly thankful for all the UNC workers.

Post hysterectomy, I must say the care I received at UNC Women's Oncology was superb! Beyond what I was expecting and a really good experience. Especially that I did not have to wait for pain medication, and the staff was quick to supply allergy meds when I had a reaction to a medication. Nurses and nurses aides, even the cleaning staff were all caring and patient oriented. I never had to eat jello, and the food service is set up as ordering take-out from menus. You call in to get food that you would like to eat. It is delivered by people dressed as wait staff. I was blown away-try the chicken noddle soup, excellent! Overall, they are doing their best to make the hospital stay as painless and pleasant as possible.

I fully believe that if you have a life threatenin...

I fully believe that if you have a life threatening medical emergency that is serious enough to catch the attention of a doctor here, you're in the right place. As a matter of fact, many of the doctors that saw and treated my son, I was confident putting our lives in their hands. They're knowledgable.

However, it will come at a price. If you don't have an emergency, expect lonnnnggggggg wait times. Expect to be glanced over and, at times, not even looked at thoroughly. Expect unnecessary steps. And afterwards expect HUGE confusing medical bills.

I was scheduled for an induction on a Friday. I came to the hospital, checked in, was asked to enter a triage room. A nurse came in to tell me that a room was unavailable and that if I wanted to go home to avoid the cost, I could do so and come back in the morning. So that's exactly what we did. Mind you, after delivery we received a bill for $1600 JUST for the triage room which they kept US waiting for half an hour. That half hour cost us nearly as much as multiple days did in delivery.

After delivery, I asked if I could receive a cash discount NOPE they don't do those at this hospital. Crazy. I asked to set up an automatic withdrawal payment plan. $100 came out of my account every month and then I got a call from collections. Be CAREFUL because UNC will split the hospital bills up into separate accounts and if you don't set up the withdrawal on every single account under UNC, they will send it to collections.

After months of trying to take triage charges off since nothing was ever performed in that room in addition to being told we wouldn't be charged if we rescheduled our induction, we had to accept paying for the additional costs.

If the cost of medical is not of concern for you, you're not concerned about long wait times and you're main priority is having access to very intelligent doctors, this could be a great place for you.

My son came for an appointment at the Orthopedic C...

My son came for an appointment at the Orthopedic Clinic and got sent over to the ER where he was immediately admitted. Everyone was fine the first night however, the next day, the staff (actual staff, not the students) began to display attitudes which I find totally unacceptable.
We were only supposed to be staying overnight so the five of us (we traveled for two hours to get to the initial appointment so the son who had the appointment, along with two of his brothers, myself and my husband all drove down together thinking we would be going home the same day) stayed the night together in the hospital room. The next day, with no prior discussion of hospital policy or anything from any of the staff the day before, we were told that we could not all stay together and that some of us would have to go to the Ronald McDonald House that night. This of course upset us because we were still being told that we were going home that night by one person and someone else was in the room saying something entirely different, and because we were told that the rheumatologist, who they were supposedly waiting for to see my son, did not think his case was urgent enough to interrupt their weekend to come and see him. It was after ten by the time everyone got on one accord so we all got to spend the night together again.
Day 3: Everyone made sure that we had the information on the Ronald McDonald House because we would be here another night, tonight. We've been told again how our son is not important enough for the rheumatologist to come in today either and everyone who has come in has asked my husband about the reservation, which he had already made. He left at around 6:30 to check in but bought us food back up because we have been purchasing food from the hospital for four people the entire time, plus paying for parking ($1.50 per hour) because we have to park in the parking garage near the hospital since my son was admitted. Aside from giving us the run around, they have been great towards my son, the actual patient. However, their communication skills and empathy towards the families could use some help.
When my husband brought the food up, the charge nurse, which we had never seen before, came in claiming to be checking on all of his patients. He to asked my husband about the reservation, told him he couldn't get back in after a certain time and some more stuff. My husband asked that he step in the hallway and address him and to not continue to do so in front of our children, which they had all been doing quite frequently. My husband asked if he was trying to say that they couldn't be up here at a certain time (nurse stated that visiting hours were over around ten, it was nine forty-five and my husband was only dropping off food).
The problem I have is that we are not animals or barbarians. Yes, I taught my children to wash their hands after they use the restroom (as the nurse excitedly pointed out). We can be addressed and spoken to as adults because that is what we are. And we didn't drive two hours with the intentions of missing work and wearing the same clothes for four days but we did it because that is what parents do. We had plans that we canceled because a child, our child's health was important enough for us to do so. And yet we were treated as if we were burdens whose child was not important enough for someone who gets paid to care for him to even make the attempt to do so. (Maybe he or she will grace us with their appearance tomorrow). Rules should have been addressed upon his admittance and if we did anything that was against the hospital's policy, the staff should have pulled one or both of us aside for a conversation, not to be scolded or talked at in front of our children.
As I write this Review, yes, I am doing so from the guess couch of my son's hospital room. The rest of the family is at the Ronald McDonald House and maybe we'll all get to go home tomorrow after obtaining answers we could not get because of our level of unimportance over the weekend.

Worst hospital ever. All they are trying is to make money from insurance. I am healthy when I got admitted. They dint allow me to take food and said they need to do some biopsy which got scheduled after two days after my arrival. Then when I demanded the explanation for the delay they cancelled biopsy and said I have low sodium levels which they wanted to treat. If my sodium levels are low why dint they find it when I joined? Why did they concentrate on it when I demanded the explanation. Finally after three days of no activity they did ctscan, ultra sound and discharged saying you are good.

This was the worst experience ever.

I was there with my daughter since 10:00 this morning who is PREGNANT and have been in pain her entire visit here. The staff in childbirth is HORRIBLE!!! After being there all day my daughter was finally discharge, I asked for a wheelchair to transport my daughter to the car because she was in pain and I waited literally 2 hours and no one came with a wheelchair. After waiting I made the decision to just walk with my daughter because I was already upset about my daughter poor care by the nurses. Please do not bring any of your loved ones here and my daughter will not be giving birth here! Such poor care!!!

I went in today with back to back panic attacks and they gave me a benzo via IV which did nothing. Although I was literally laying on the floor shaking and crying having more panic attacks afterwards they planned on sending me home. They walked around me while I was in that condition like a woman shaking and crying in a hospital floor is normal. And that nurse call button didn t work so I was unable to notify anyone. So I walked out AMA.

If I m not going to get help and keep having back to back panic attacks I can do that from the comfort of my own home for free. Asking for help
was a very expensive mistake I won t make again.

I would not recommend anyone going to UNC Health Care, GI department!!! Wife had a procedure done in this facility & our experience was far from basic care expected. My wife is a 25 year RN, with most of those years in the OR & recovery room (PACU). When you go into a medical facility to get a surgical procedure done, especially a facility the size of UNC Health Care, you should be able to get basic care expectations at the very least.

The Dr/Surgen May have done a good job, time will tell, but from the pain/soreness she is experiencing she has several opinions on what probably happen in the OR. She came out of OR with a fat lip & a cut under her lip that we didn t discover until the swelling went down. The care the recovery nurse gave was so sub par I could have done a better job & I m definitely not a caregiver. No pain meds where given & when my wife ask for some, just to get her home, the nurse pretty much ignored the request. Probably cause it would have created more paperwork & time for the nurse. All though she finally came back with a prescription for pain meds but we live 2 1/2 hours away. I could go on all day with care not given but I ll move on. The PACU department is so disorganized, it was pretty much open to any & all foot traffic that wants to come & go, not a protected area at all. The staff was so miss matched in clothing (uniform) you couldn't tell who was staff, patients or pedestrians.

Short & sweet, if you have available to you any other options, other than this facility, you should seriously consider taking those options before coming to UNC Heath Care. This place brings into reality how state government facilities are run, even though we always think surely they aren t that bad.

Oh yea, I can t leave this out! On our way home, I stopped at a Dollar General on the outskirts of Chapel Hill to buy a bottle of Tylenol for my wife s pain just to get her home. Sad!

It's huge, the size of a small town atmosphere. Everyone is pleasant, professional and helpful and upbeat/positive attitudes. I felt safe and confident I would receive the best health care available in this region! My specialist always recommend the physicians here for my care and procedures. It's worth the drive to get the best care, if you value your life and well being....cut cost else where..

This entire experience has been surreal. The medic...

This entire experience has been surreal. The medical staff, patient relations and especially the nursing staff are extremely apathetic, discourteous and unprofessional. My brother was airlifted to the hospital. During the time he has been at the hospital he cried on several occasions due to how he was treated by the doctors and nurses. He was allowed to sit in his own feces for over half an hour after ringing for the nurse three different times. After he defecated on himself the nursing staff was belligerent, yanking on him very aggressively. This incident took place in the ICU, subsequently to him being removed from a ventilator.

On another occasion, the following day he began to experience severe stomach pains. He repeatedly implored the nursing staff and finally several doctors to provide something for the pain. The ICU doctors and nurse responded by insinuating that my brother was an addict whom was drug seeking. He does not and has never consumed drugs or alcohol. It wasn't until hours later after it was found that he had a bacterial infection in his stomach that he was finally given pain medication.

The nursing and paraprofessional medical staff hide out in family waiting areas upwards to sixty minutes at a time. I believe this explains why my loved one and speaking with other patients' families are not receiving adequate and quality care. I am thoroughly disappointed and concerned about the quality (lack thereof) care my family has received. I will be addressing my concerns at the highest level of administration. If at all possible please do not seek medical treatment here.

Consequently, the doctors still have not provided a specific diagnosis for what caused my brother to become so ill, so quickly. Ostensibly, they do not seem to care to find one.

Very very disappointed so far. It has been 2 weeks (- 1day) since coming to their lab for a blood test. No results available yet, and they refuse to tell me the status (done/not done) or when done - I can ask a car dealership when my oil change done, but I cannot ask UNC when my critical test done,

As a former employee of UNC Memorial Hospital's co...

As a former employee of UNC Memorial Hospital's core laboratory, I cannot more strongly urge you to seek care ANYWHERE else. The negligence I witnessed here on a daily basis was astounding. Staff shortages cause avoidable problems with patient care constantly. Several significant problems with specimen/testing method integrity that I brought to my supervisor were ignored entirely, and inaccurate results continued to be reported. My supervisor actually told me "It's up to the doctors to question the results".

This entire institution is morally bankrupt, and believe me, the patient does NOT come first. Money comes first. Money spent on a fancy looking entrance with plenty of expensive landscaping. Meanwhile, there has been a "chair graveyard" in the core laboratory for over four years, where about 15 broken office chairs lie. The lab is so hot in some areas that employees are forced to roll up the sleeves of their lab coats, negating the coat's intended safety barrier. Several things in the lab are literally held together with scotch tape, because the funds are not there to properly fix them. UNC is all about the IMAGE of good healthcare.

I used to joke with fellow employees, saying that if I was shot on the steps of the UNC emergency department I would call an ambulance from Duke. Over time the 'joke' aspect of this comment dissolved.

Had a serious emergency and they got us right in, all the staff in the ER were very helpful and pleasant, the intake staff was a little bit harsh. Discharge was fast and easy. The ER has parking but an attendant moves the cars for you, free parking while in ER if you are transfered to a hospital floor than you have to move your car and pay $10 a day . All in all was a good experience.

This is a very nice hospital. The ER doctors are not as compassionate as they should be and the nurse aren't either. However, I was admitted and the nurses were awesome. I started out on the bone marrow floor which my room was the size of a master room in a house. It had a daybed, mini fridge, game systems, DVD player with movies and a huge bathroom. They ended up getting a bone marrow patient in and I had to give up my room. I was transferred to the women's(six floor). I was upset at first but ALL the nurses were AWESOME. The room was a lot smaller and only had a smaller daybed. They did however have a pantry on the floor that is accessible to patients and their family. Last but not least, the food at this hospital is awesome. I've been in and out the hospital all my life and I've never been in a hospital who's menu is 10 pages long. They have all types of cuisines. There kitchen is also open 24 hrs/7 days a week. So if for any reason you have to be hospitalized, I would definitely push to be admitted to UNC. The friendliness, cleanliness and not to mention the food makes being hospitalized a little easier. I hope this helps someone. God bless you!!

1st time I went was to get a cyst drained. I ended up waiting more than 6 hours and got it drained by a Doctor Long. The day after it became red and infected, I called UNC and they told me there's no such a Doctor named Long.

2nd time I went there for a appendix removal and 2 days later I came back with C. def. I was out for 2 days. I then woke up with a bunch of students trying to shovel a tube up my nose. Needless to say it ended up not working. Next day or later that day I woke up instead with 5 to 10 nurses trying to stick me a bunch of times unsuccessfully till someone finally made it.
I don't remember the days after but I somehow ended up in a room with a tv and I could choose which food I could eat from pizza to sushi. Definitely a great improvement since day 1 when I couldn't eat or drink anything.
Everything after that was good, just the bathroom was a wee bit tiny for all the machines and tubes I was connected to.

The nurses though were all very nice to me.

Apparently patients have to pay for the parking.

This hospital is unreal. Four different visits here in over 4 years (2016-2019) and there is always an altercation, always overworked staff, hospital has no ability to properly diagnose rare conditions in adults and I have personally witnessed the sad results of the scary things that happen to victims of this hospital that leave people like me the loved ones of those victims as victims as well. **The children's hospital and the adult hospital are not the same** I pray that the main hospital is inspected and carefully monitored for the patient abuse I have witnessed EVERY single time I visited a loved one here. You have good staff, but the occasional admin who is Lucifer Incarnate. The FBI needs to be on them for the hell they put their employees through, wrongful deaths they've caused, and pain UNC Hospitals has caused me. Beware! Do not trust this hospital with your life!!!! Go To Duke for adult care for critical conditions. The pediatric hospital I believe is known to be okay, but the adult hospital will is the most abusive and corrupt monstrous disaster of a hospital I've ever seen. If I ever had a good experience there was another patient I saw being abused. Reports to their social worker go unresolved..It is like this hospital is run by the Mafia from HELL. Us North Carolinians need to be INFORMED!!! Hospital Needs to Be under a Federal And State review period for DDX inability and patient abuses that I have witnessed that now affect my life every waking day. =(. I will never go near this monstrous hospital from hell and pray every victim sues them for suffering endured and health problems they've caused us.

I drive 3 hours to get to this hospital. Yesterday I left at 0845 and I got home at 2010. And all I got was a CT scan! I was treated like a nuisance instead of a human being. My scan was at 1230. My urology appt. was at 1345. The CT scan took almost 3 hours and they were not that busy. They made me late for my urologist. Made my way to urology in Memorial and the only person there was the receptionist. No patients anywhere. After sitting there for almost TWO HOURS, I left! Then I had to pay $7.50 to park for 5 hours! All I got was a CT scan? $30.00 in gas. What makes a hospital run like that? That is just inexcusable. Are these not professionals? You know if the tables were turned, that Dr. wouldn't want to go there either.

The care was good from Dr. Macdonald, but they partner with numerous payment groups who harass you by calling at all kinds of inconvenient hours to demand either immediate full payment or setting up accounts. Then the hospital will partner with another group and you have to repeat the process. I paid over $800 on my bill in June, 2020, and over $500 within two weeks. One week after this massive dent above and beyond normal monthly payments (my monthly payment was $137) I get an angry letter demanding the full amount or it would be turned over to collections. A friend of mine told me he was turned over while on workman's comp which is ILLEGAL. Another friend spoke of someone they sued to get less than a dollar. If you have a choice, DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE. They would make excellent employees of a loan shark.

Not bad for a very busy teaching hospital. But I've seen much better. Needs a lot of internal renovations, updating and general cleaning, though. Very difficult to find your way around. Poor signage. But staff is friendly and extremely helpful, which helps a lot. But for a teaching hospital the infrastructure is quite poor. It leaves patients feeling concerned about the overall practices and treatment. Many of the treatment areas I visited for my career gave me the impression that the hospital was backward and not up-to-date. Treatment rooms are shabby, badly maintained, messy, and the equipment is very outdated. Leaves one wondering about doctors and professionals who get their training here.

I am shocked at the bad reviews on here. My daughter had cancer at 16 years old and we spent A LOT of time at UNC Children's. They treated my daughter like they loved her as much as I do. Dr. Stuart Gold is one of a kind. Kids of all ages LOVE him. I love him! Surgeon Sean McLean played a huge part in saving my daughter's life. We love him. Daniel was God sent in PICU. Nurses on Childrens 5th floor took good care of US. This hospital believes in taking care of the whole family....I always recommend UNC.

Love the care I get here! Quality of care has improved over the years; however, parking is and has always been a joke. Especially when athletic events are taking place. Parking priority is given to those attending the events. Valet parking is a great idea, but it s been my experience I m always told all spaces are full. The price to park is too much. But, the care I receive outweighs the parking issues.

The mid wives are great, but the hospital and the post natal care is pretty poor. The floors of the birthing rooms are extremely sticky so you stick to the floor everytime you step. If you have gestational diabetes, make sure you check what IV they try to give you (we had someone try to give us a normal IV which would throw sugars off the charts). There was 1 lactation consultant that had good information while the rest offered 0 insight. The staff also do not appear to share information and we had 1 nurse try to forcefeed our child formula.

This past Sunday I had a cyst that needed removal ...

This past Sunday I had a cyst that needed removal and I currently live in Chapel hill but I had only dealt with the ER at Duke so I was left with either to drive 25mins in pain to Duke or 6mins to UNC. I read some reviews and became nervous about UNC but I took a leap of faith anyways, and wow it was worth it. Soon as I went into UNC ER I checked in and had a laugh with the receptionist about my issue. The security guard searching bags was polite. As I finished that process it was already a nurse waiting for me to take my vitals. Afterwards she took me to get checked into the ER where Wesley took my insurance info and billing address then I went into a room. In the room the nurse checked everything out answered my questions and walked me through the procedure step by step. They doped me up did the procedure and let me sit in there for "as long as I needed" and I went on my way. After everything they told me to return in 2 days for a checkup either come to them or a UNC urgent care (its cheaper). This was Definitely a 5 star visit.

I've tried to write this review a dozen times now. It's difficult to put into words the rough rocky patch of road that cancer drags you down by both ankles. There is no easy or sunny way to describe the loss of a loved one taken by such a dreadful disease. I don't want this to be about that. What I want this to be about is the care and the care givers we were blessed to deal with during this most difficult time.

In the head spinning time frame of 19 days, we went from "this might be cancer" to the end of life preparations. The news was devastating and more tests found more cancer. At this time we as a family had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Moschos and Dr. Grant.

These professionals were in the position of telling a family that options were extremely limited but managed to do so in a fashion that was straight forward along with a bit of an education on the disease. Once we knew what we were up against, decision making was easy. Both doctors had a very compassionate bed side manner that made the worst news possible, easier to hear. Make no mistake, we were all devastated but what we didn't have to do is wade through any soggy false hope.
It was abundantly clear what we were up against and it was obvious that my sister in laws health was declining exactly as the good doctors said it would. The decision, our decision to take the route we needed to take was somehow more palatable.

I would also like to mention the quality of care my sister in law received from the RN and NA staff! Top notch, across the board! All of these people are in their chosen field because they want to be there. These were the most compassionate people I've ever met doing one of what has to be the hardest job on the planet.

As sad as I was for my family, I knew my sister in law was in the best hands in the business. The amount of comfort we all got from that was our only relief during this most difficult time.

My hat is off to these people. I dislike the word amazing because of its overuse but it is fitting regarding the care, compassion and professionalism I witnessed at this hospital. Absolutely amazing!

Their staff were nice and helpful but their billing is extremely messy and scattered. I just received a bill that was from a service over 1.5 years ago because they most likely ran their calculations wrong. When we had prenatal visits we were constantly paying our copay but then receiving a check back in the mail. They have no clue how to bill or help people figure out their bills.

Recently switched from UNC hospital in Chapel Hill...

Recently switched from UNC hospital in Chapel Hill to Duke, and have been very happy with all the new specialists we have seen at Duke relative to the quality and responsiveness of care compared to UNC. We switched all of our care from UNC, with specialties including:

Cardiology
Gastroenterology (Allergist said it was GI, GI said it was allergist - terrible care across dept)
Allergists (Allergist said it was GI, GI said it was allergist - terrible care across dept)
Immunologists
Dieticians
Craniofacial
Pediatric Surgery
Neurology
Genetics
Urology (Our urologist at UNC was good, Dr. Sutherland, he repaired an injury caused by Dr. Sang Lee from UNC pediatric surgery, if you need pediatric surgery, Duncan Philips at Wakemed is the preeminent surgeon in the triangle, we wish we would've taken the advice of other specialists when we realized we needed a pediatric surgeon - son born with imperforate anus. We did get a consult with Dr Philips, after the initial injury caused by Dr. Lee, but worried about switching institutions mid procedure)

Geneticist at Duke, Dr. Shashi, diagnosed in one visit what went diagnosed by UNC geneticists for 24 months. A rare genetic disorder, kabuki syndrome. Also, Duke offers full exome sequencing, not offered at UNC. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Shashi's ability to accomplish this given the rarity of the condition. Furthermore, Kelly Schoch a genetic counselor at Duke, quarterbacks all of my sons care with all of the various specialists at Duke, amazing systems in place at Duke so all of the different specialist are aware of his condition.

Contrasted with UNC, Duke physicians seem to read medical records prior to patient visits, and come to meetings ready to discuss elements specific to their patient and offer guidance and solutions relative to their patients specific condition. This is not the case at UNC, and all visits seemed haphazard and failed to meet even the basic needs of the patient - in short terrible quality of care.

Duke University Medical has been a positive experience after a fairly turbulent first two years of life.

Worst experience. Rude staff, dirty facilities, extremely slow. One thing I'll never forget is the racist comments that were directly told to me and how they considered racial stereotypes during my consults. I will never come back here again as I gained nothing from this experience, more of lost my respect for this hospital.

Three trips this year. Nursing, Housekeeping, and maintenance first class. Communication between Dr's severely lacking. Finding procedures in chart not done, labs weren't performed. Getting multiple emails about test results but nothing in MyChart. MyChart has disclaimer to notify them if email received in error but it is an email address that doesn't accept replies. Message to lab never gets a reply. Unable to contact my Dr that I have seen already because she is not listed as my Dr. They have many great people there but no one is looking at the day to day issues.

This is literally the worst emergency hospital I ve ever been to. Almost every staff member I encountered was extremely rude and unwelcoming everyone from the receptionists to the Doctors. These people do not deserve jobs caring for people, especially people experiencing health related emergencies. On top of the rediculously unpleaseanted staff members, the place was filthy; dust and dirt everywhere, literally big clogs of dust dangling from the ceiling above the beds. If you ever find yourself in an emergency and you can avoid this place and go somewhere else, I strongly recommend you do so. These people are only in it for the money.

We travelled 6 hours for an esophageal manometry and for my son s 2:00pm appointment we waited past 4:00pm without being seen. We were asked to arrive 30 minutes early and due to the trip, we made sure to be early. However, we were expected to wait more than 2 hours past his appointment time. We have had difficulty getting phone calls returned after holding for more than 45 minutes, the scheduler s voicemail was full. Lots of difficulties!
