I worked with Danny Michelson for some event rentals and he was SUPER responsive and very helpful! The deliveries were very timely and the guys were very friendly. I will definitely be using them again!

I have been an events and sponsorship planner for years working with WCEP. I trust them explicitly with our events and have found no other events company that can match their level of expertise that elevates our events where our guests make comments like exquisite, memorable, mesmerizing, classic, top-notch, best event ever, etc.. Their service level goes beyond just note taking , they immerse themselves into every detail all the way down to packing up when the event is over. Danny helped me prepare all of the rentals I would need for my wedding. Through the entire experience he was helpful, logical, punctual and gave me a complete list of what would be most cost effective. Explaining areas where I could cut corners and the areas I would be better putting my money. When it looked like I would have rain on my wedding day, he made a special trip out to the venue to ensue we could tent the reception in a way that would look elegant and not cost a small fortune. Everything thing looked beautiful and they were highly reliable. It was wonderful working with West Coast Event Productions and Danny. I will be using them in the future.

We had a great first experience working with West Coast. DJ and Brian willingly shared their expertise while we brainstormed the actual equipment (drape, lighting, soft seating) we would need to turn a drab, windowless ballroom into a place that felt homey, like being in someone s living room. The excellent on-site assistance from Jim and Connie was a game-changer for us. We would definitely partner with them again.

We had the best experience working with the whole team at West Coast Productions! Our event was a 40 year anniversary party for our company with over 500 guests. They were very professional and helpful in understanding our mission and vision and we truly felt like it was a team effort to achieve our goal. We recently used West Coast Events (specifically Danny) for a large scale event in downtown Vancouver for over 500 employees. I have worked with WCEP almost exclusively for the last 7 years. They are timely, hard working, and have a great inventory. There have been multiple times I have showed up to a meeting with them without a clear vision of what I want, and by the end of the meeting the creative juices are flowing and we have a plan in place.

Had an appointment to look at rentals for a wedding in the showroom. The lady there wasn't prepared for our appointment and the majority of the showroom lights were off upon our arrival. We spent a good 5 minutes in the dark are she ran around trying to find the correct light switch.

We did eventually get a quote from them but have since passed on it, as the whole ordeal left a bad taste in our mouths, especially when the rentals are for the most important day of our lives, yet they couldn't even be ready an an appointment. Proceeded to find a cheaper rental company else where in Portland, where their staff assisted us in our vision.

My wife and I got married this Winter in Portland, and hired West Coast Event Productions to help provide decorations and a dance floor for our wedding. From our initial phone call to day-of execution, they were wonderful. Pat and her team work like a well-oiled machine. They considered things my wife and I would have never thought about. They brought a ton of creativity to the table and enhanced what we already had. Of special note- they have an AMAZING chalkboard artist who drew an incredible "welcome" sign on a 2ft-3ft chalkboard. We highly recommend their services.

Our day of Commencement activities at the Oregon Convention Center was great. West Coast helped us decorate; stages, entryways, lay carpet, created beautiful floral arrangements which added to the celebration for students and their families. We had a serious decorating mishap the evening prior to the event where a huge floral arrangement was accidentally tipped over. We contacted West Coast and instead of waiting on the day of the event they sent a member of their staff that evening to put it all back together again. Their staff was great to work with, attentive and were great at meeting our requests. We have used them for this major event for several years and will use them in the future.

I have worked with WCEP for the past six years, coordinating local events that range in attendance between 1000-3500+. WCEP is always extremely efficient and professional. Recently, our team coordinated a small summer event and unfortunately, West Coast was unavailable that day, which meant our team had to schedule event services with a competitor. The experience was night-and-day, as this competitor was hours late and completely unresponsive; all we needed was a large tent, but we also got a large headache free-of-charge. If you have a large event and are looking for a headache, be sure to explore other options first.

I am happy to say that this is not an experience we have had with West Coast. Their team shows up on time and delivers a product with exemplary customer service. I recommend you use West Coast for your next event.

On Sunday May 19th, was the most fantastic wedding to date here at Adeline Farms! We had many rental demands and vision for those rentals that were more than we had ever done before. We had two different rental/event production companies working on the tents, flooring, drapery installations, crystal chandeliers, etc.
Let me just say, West Coast Event Productions is simply the best rental company I have ever worked with, hands down!!

The production that comes out of WCEP is beautiful as well as super hero like! David Perez does amazing work. Like Pinterest comes to life amazing! He under lined the tent with chiffon and draped the barn doors. The crystal chandeliers added to my dining room in the barn and the five crystal chandeliers under the chiffon liner of the tent along with the woodgrain flooring a sight to behold. Every installation from each team member was seamless and precise!

Superior product and artistry beyond compare! They also have a huge inventory of the best of the best rentals! Everyone was top notch, with above and beyond service! Nice, fun and EXTREMELY responsive! Danny was available to me either every time I called or called me back immediately. That is invaluable when planning and hosting any event, but especially one that jumped from 200 to 250 just days before the event, and with such an important client to us. By the way, bringing on WCEP, was a last minute situation and they pulled it off like I had been working with them for months, instead of just a matter of days.
WCEP must have an incredible in house culture to have so many people, all doing their jobs that exceed the industry standard in quality, professionalism, efficiency and grace under pressure! WCEP You have our sole business from now on!

Working with WCEP was a great experience! Their entire staff worked diligently to make sure FlexSpace had all the items we needed well in advance of even signing the contract. After contract, they continued to make themselves readily available for whatever questions/ concerns we had for our event. Onsite, they were extremely proactive (even sent us a picture of our shipment when it arrived) and made sure our event was seamless. We will definitely consider WCEP and FlexSpace for any future events we have in the area.

I am an event specialist in Portland and I have used WCEP fairly exclusively for the last 5 years. I go back to them over and over because they're just superb! I know I can trust the service and product will be stellar despite if it's a $300 rental order or $10k+. Their expertise in events from the design side, the tech side, and execution is always spot on and I never have to stress about timing or an element missing. Their prices may be slightly higher than some other production companies in Portland, but I think you get what you pay for. I've used those other companies and the savings were not worth the extra stress involved.

This is a very poorly managed company with little to no regard for the customers. They couldn t handle even the simplest of requests. Items were missing and they clearly lacked any system to handle logistics.

We scheduled an appointment to review rental options with West Coast. Traveling from Salem, we scheduled numerous appointments in the area to meet up with vendors and check things off our list.

Upon arriving for our appointment, the gal was not ready for us. The showroom was not set up nor were the lights on. She also couldn t locate any of the emails I had sent prior to our appointment about what we wanted to rent.

For our event, we were looking at a pretty hefty bill and a couple of taxing requests. Therefore, our interaction during our appointment caused us to look elsewhere. We lacked confidence in our ability to get what we wanted or needed from West Coast.

We got married at The Griffin House this fall and were SO lucky to have found WCEP for all of our rentals! Juliana, our main contact, was very professional, always responded promptly to our emails, and was very mindful of our budget. Juliana and the entire team worked flawlessly with our venue and were great with communication in every aspect. The day ran smoothly, and WCEP was very well staffed during delivery and set-up.
