I had a new hot water heater put in about a year ago. the price was quite high but our old heater had gone out.. there service was quick and fast but quite expensive.
A little over a year later I wanted to check the anode ( combo anode attached to the hot water outlet) and noticed that the entire system was soudered in so the lines would have to ve cut. There should have been couplings in the tubing to remove the anode. I contacted Waterworks and they charged me a nominal fee. It should have been done for free but I agred to pay it and the workmanship was fine.

All of our interactions with the staff at the waterworks were friendly and informative. They were able to come out much more quickly than I ever expected and got the job done quickly. They were on time and friendly. Their prices seemed on the higher end of the range according to a quick google search but their friendliness and excellent work have made us happy with our decision to use them.

My roommate's sump pump quit working Monday the 15th. We found that out about 630 pm. She has an account with The Waterworks. She called and spoke with Lindsey. Lindsey was great. She quoted a price and said the Techs are on overtime and was that alright. She said the Tech would be there in 30 minutes. It was almost to the minute that Mick arrived. We went down to the basement and he spelled out exactly what needed to be fixed and the cost. Mick was very personable and funny. He had the job done in about 30 minutes. He double check everything. We would highly recommend The Waterworks. Their Techs are awesome and Customer Service is awesome also. Great job!

A bad smell in the lower level of my new home prompted me to call these guys in the wee hours of a Sunday morning. By 3:30am the backup of raw sewage that was coming up into my basement was gone...and the disaster was averted! The tech who did the work was nice, sharp and handled the situation very professionally. I would strongly recommend the Waterworks team to anyone who needs sewage, drainage or plumbing services.

No pressure, no gimmicks, competitive pricing. Friendly sales and tech. Arrived punctually for all appointments and performed install professionally. Answered all questions. Took care of an additional concern I had with my ducts that another potential installer told me he couldn't help me with. Outstanding service. Would recommend.

We used Waterworks to fix an outdoor spigot and install a shutoff valve for the winter to keep the pipe from bursting. The pipe stopped leaking for the Summer and we turned off the valve for the winter. We turned it back on in the Spring and it was burst again. I called to see if getting it repaired again was covered and was informed that there was only a 90 day warranty. I understand that things break and the warrantly was only 90 days, but its kind of impossible to know if the work was done right without going through winter and using the valve which is way beyond 90 days. Anyway, we feel like we basically threw money away on this one. We'll be contacting a different plumber this time around.

Highly recommend The Waterworks! Our sump pump quit working, with water in our basement on a Sunday night at 9:15pm. After calling the 24/7 help line -- the technician was at our door within the hour. He was professional, knowledgeable and quick to get the new one up and running. The Waterworks made a very stressful situation a lot easier to deal with!

Be sure to ask when you schedule what the technician can do on site-they need to have an entire new team to come out to snake a kitchen drain. Quickest $$$ made in 15 minutes to replace a washer. I would use a company with no service fee to come out to access the problem such as Eco Plumbers.

Jean, I would love to discuss this over the phone. Can you please reach out to me? You are referring to my neighbor and not me.

Called because we were pretty certain we had a frozen water line and feared it would break.. Service was prompt but the technician didn't know what to do .He seemed very unsure. He wanted to replace the parts in the faucet which was quite expensive to see if that was the problem. We declined and he called in a second technician who agreed that it was a frozen line. After more than 3 hours and 3 service techs, they determined that if couldn't be deiced without tearing out the kitchen ceiling. We declined. Although the men were very polite, we were charged overtime for 2 techs. They left and we had a hole in our bathroom wall from the attempt to find the pipe and we still had a frozen pipe. It seems that if the first tech had to call in a second one, that was the company's problem , not ours, but we ended up with a huge bill for 2 techs and basically an unresolved plumbing problem.

Mick P. came out to my home yesterday and this was the picture AFTER he had left and said he could not find the problem. My complex's maintenance man had come and was able to find 3 different problem areas and even wrote them in pencil on the wall above the pipes. HE COMPLETELY DISREGARDING THIS. His attitude was terrible and he was rude from the beginning. Water was everywhere and seeping out of the utility closet and the garage and he did zero investigation. He then proceeded to say "I cannot find any leaks, so lets do an experiment to see if it happens again overnight." He also said it was probably only condensation and it was VERY OBVIOUS that condensation was not the problem. Condensation does not cause fast moving water to flow out of everywhere. I voiced to him that doing an experiment with my things was not acceptable and that I did not want to experiment to see if it floods again! I just simply wanted him to investigate and try to make sure it didn't flood again. He spent about 10 minutes total and obviously did no investigating. He refused to do any work and said he could not fix what was not broken. The water was not spraying out at that moment but had been previously which is why everything was flooded. The pressure release valve was bad and had caused the pipe to blow off and being a PLUMBER he did not even notice that this piece was missing. I only noticed because I was down there trying to clean up water and wait for my complex's maintenance to come back and got burned by scalding hot water spraying at me suddenly. This is completely unacceptable. This is not the first negative experience I have had with Water Works. In May I also had a technician come out and say leaks were fixed and not a single thing was done. I had to call emergency maintenance at midnight because there were puddles. I would NEVER use them. My complex uses them- not my choice. When I called into customer service they offer zero help and just say they have to pass off a complaint. No one holds anyone accountable and they show absolutely NO empathy that their company has not done their job. I still have not received a call from Brad, Mick's manager. They are not reputable and they hire lazy people that do not want to get the job done. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY FAR AWAY!!! Customer service does not actually offer a solution they just say they will pass it off and cannot give a name of who will handle it.

This is the second time that we have used Waterworks. Quick and professional. Explained to us the problem in terms we could understand. Explained the pricing as well. While plumbers are expensive (although less than I expected for a burst pipe in a crawlspace), I have confidence these are 1 time expenses with the Waterworks.

Stating the facts:

Stating the facts:
1. They were able to get to my home to fix my garbage disposal within an hour - which was awesome.
2. They could not tell me the price on the phone for the replacement - they said it was by the job and there were a few variables to determine price.
3. They charged $215 plus $35 service fee for 30 minutes of work.

Had they quoted me the price when I called to schedule the appointment, I would not have used this service as others charge half that amount. Fast service, good service, expensive prices.

I called The Waterworks at 11:15 on a Friday night because I had a sewage back up in my basement. They offered to come out immediately, but I opted to have them come out first thing in the morning. Rod was fantastic! He explained everything that he needed to do and the pricing as well. He was so kind and polite and as a bonus, my dog thought he was his new best friend! I already recommended Waterworks to a friend and I will definitely use them for my plumbing needs in the future! Everyone I spoke with on the phone was professional as well as patient with all of my questions.

My water tank exploded at 4:00 am. I called WaterWorks, and Mick was there within an hour. As a newer home owner, this was the most disastrous and frightening experience I ve ever had. Mick was absolutely amazing as he was exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind. He helped calmly guide me through the process while I was in a state of panic and disaster. I ve worked with two other people from WaterWorks- neither which impressed me- but Mick is the reason I will call on him at WaterWorks for all future plumbing needs. Thank you, Mick. I appreciate you more than I could ever express.

In my opinion, Waterworks does terrible terrible work. I have had water coming into my home during heavy rain for the last two years. I finally found out from a neighbor, that Waterworks was the company that did the repair/replacement of the water line a month before i moved in. I tried calling them and they would not give me any information on what was done prior to me living here. I simply wanted to know what was done and if there was a possibility that this could somehow have an easy fix or be remedied.

I would never, ever use this company.

We would never use these people again! A simple job of changing the water filters and a sink cartridge became an ordeal. BUT the real creepy thing is that they wanted my credit card number, before the job was finished--this is a real heads up. More than a week of leaking faucet they call and say the part is in, and yes want my credit card number before they come out... sent them a check for the half done work and cut my losses.

Wow, what great experience.
When I called I was quickly scheduled for the next morning to accommodate my schedule. I received a confirmation call the morning of to relay the expected time of Dan's arrival. Dan arrived on time . Dan was very attentive in listening to my concerns and went about hius business in an efficient manner, constantly communicating his findings. At the end of it all I felt that I had been well served. I know Waterworks will get my call next time I need anything in their ranges of services.

I will definitely be calling waterworks (comfortworks) again for any issues I have! My thermostat went blank and I just called the first company that came up on google. Unfortunately, not every technician is an honest person. I was scammed by another company into almost buying an entire new air handler, and Jason came from Comfortworks and all that needed to be done was reconnect a wire that a previous technician (from different company) failed to connect when inspecting my system and therefore told me my blower motor had failed and I should just replace the entire air handler for $4800. Thank you for being an honest company!

Our hot water tank started leaking and needed replaced. We called The Waterworks and Ryan Williams and Mitch Graham came to our home to install the new tank for us, they were both amazing. The work was done quickly and efficiently, they were very nice, polite young men and the new tank install looks better than the one done when our house was built! My husband and I will most assuredly recommend the this company to our family and friends. Thank you Ryan and Mitch for a job well done!!

The young man who came out twice to conduct test with the camera and smoke to examine the pipes, water lines, and stacks did a great job. He reviewed the videos with me in detail. One of my two stacks needs to be replaced; however, it would only resolve some of my problems he could not resolve other issues, but would do further research. He telephoned the office to speak with the person who was to telephone me to come out and provide a written estimate of the work to be done. After 2 weeks and not hearing from Waterworks, I telephoned the office to ask if I would still receive a written estimate. I was told someone would contact me to arrange to come to my home. No one phoned to make those arrangements. I will eventually start all over and contact another plumbing company to hopefully work on resolving my plumbing issues and receive a written estimate.

Had plumber from water works come to fix a drain backing up into bathroom sink. He put a snake down drain line didn't pull anything out but put hose down saying it was now clear ok so when we hook everything backup and attempt to use sink the drain again backs up...clogged. Just like it was when we called. Seemed like drain was flowing again but seems to be that since we have not been using the drain because of issue the water wasn't as high. In pipe but when try to use the sink as regular use it backed up / clogged again. To have them come back out because it was later when we figured out problem was still occurring they threatened an additional $200.00 fee. Now mind you the plumber was only at our house maybe 15 minutes if that but the fee was just over $300 bucks. So they threatened additional fee because it's now evening and if we want them to come back out to fix problem they said was fixed today because of the time that we figured out dude never fixed drain We are penalized cause we have the audacity to ask them to come back out today they say it will be a $200.00 fee if we come out and it's not the same issue...but because we have been duped a few times before we are now waiting til Monday because they would figure out way to make sure it was a different issue on top off issue they supposedly fixed but didn't. Considering they said the issue we had was already fixed and already charged us over $300 dollars for not even 15 minutes work I have no doubt in my mind they would say it was a different issue and add on $200.00 fee for making them come back out and then on top of that charge another $300.00 cause they had to maybe do 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes they charged $300 dollars for eArlier. Plumbers and electricians man it's a racket. Heck with illegal stuff they rip you off legally.

This company was very quick to come out and look at my water heaters when we were not getting hot water and noticed an error indicator light was on. We have a tandom Gas and Electric system like many newer MI Homes. The worker was very polite and couteous, and unfortunately not very knowledgeable in finding the problem to the water heater. My problem was mis-diagnosed and an $800 repair was performed on assurances this would fix the problem and did not need to replace both tanks. The part was installeda few days later and immediately the same issues were noticed. After another call, the same technician suggested another $600 "fix" after talking me out of replacing the whole unit previously. Unhappy with the previous wrong diagnosis and lack of a qualified technicians, I would suggest going elsewhere in the future and did myself.

We have used Waterworks twice after a recommendation from a colleague and friends. We were not disappointed. I made a call about a stopped up kitchen sink in the morning and there was someone at my house in less than 1.5 hours. I came home from a weekend away to several inches ...

I came home from a weekend away to several inches of water in the basement but couldn't tell if it was the storm sewer backing up or my sump pump gone dead. It was both. WW sent a hybrid tech who could do both, Chris A. He definitely knew what he was doing and he even showed up early! And he also discovered that the cast iron stack in my old house was cracked and rusted through in some places, and leaking. He took care of the sewer, sump pump first day and came back another to replace the cracked part of the stack and plumbing to the washer. Did great work. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it was extremely expensive in my mind, but when you are in an "emergency" situation you have to bite the bullet I guess.

WOW what a BAD experience!!!!

WOW what a BAD experience!!!!
I have a water heater problem so I called this company on 6/22/2018. they said the service called would cost $60.00. when the technician came to my home he said to diagnose the problem it will cost $98.00. He told me the vacuum switch is bad and there are no parts available in town. He found the correct switch out of town and it would cost me $1100 for him to go get it. I asked can I go and get it and he said no because they will only sell it to the plumbers. So I ordered the parts overnight from amazon and it cost me $50.00. I installed the switch myself and the water heater still wont work. so I called the company again and the same technician came to my home. I told him that I install the switch still water heater is not working. He said it will cost we $98.00 again to diagnose. I told them I already paid you once ,why you charging me again, he said he don't work for free. He walked away without reason.
Next day I called another company and they fixed the issue for only $50.00
I call The Water Works management 3 time and try to convince to get refund $98.00. They refused to refund money so I decided to express my experience on line.
This company has a big name but they are lack professionalism and honesty. Just money motivated. They will take money without service.

The main water line running into my house broke. I had a sump pump that ran non-stop and no water pressure. My neighbor recommended The Waterworks.

A gentleman came to my house. He looked at the massive hole I dug to reveal the problem, asked where the water shut -off valve was, and scribbled something down on his clip-board. Then, he left.

I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK FROM THE WATERWORKS. NOTHING. I didn't hear, 'we don't want the job', or 'we are very backed up at this time'. . no further communication at all. They left me in a bad spot because I waited on them for 2 days. Two days with almost no water. Not enough pressure to take a bath or shower. The whole thing was insulting and disappointing.

I did have the problem fixed. . by another company. I won't call The Waterworks again.

I had an appt. From 5-9pm. I called 48 hr ago.
So I got called at 9pm and was offered someone to come out in 20 min. They couldn't tell me how long the job would take-standard problem. Their reasoning was because of all the rain recently they've been busy. I shouldn't be expected to stay up till 10pm when they should of come earlier as scheduled. Then the person who called me asked me if I was a nurse??? Because I said it was too late, WTF, how is what I do relevant. Not professional. Now the men working on the home will have no toilets to use. Ugggg.

Ultimately The Waterworks were not able to help us - we wanted to run a gas line to our kitchen and it's just not possible without tearing up floors and we didn't want to do that. I called to see how much it runs for a technician to come out and give an estimate. Their phone rep stated they don't give out their prices and transferred me to a manager. She also said "if a technician comes out and doesn't fix anything, you wouldn't be charged." To which I replied, "so your service call is free then?" Manager's response, "no not exactly." I hung up. VERY SHADY AND SKETCHY BUSINESS. It is abnormal to not even give out your service call rate.

I had a gas lead in the house with numerous problems listed before the gas company would turn the gas back on. When I called they booked me for an appt. the next day between noon and 4. I called at 2:30 because I wanted to check the arrival time and needed to get back to work by 4. Shawn showed up at 3 and apologized for the delay - it sounded as if he was not the person who was to arrive, but they sent him when they knew I was in a hurry. Shawn explained that one of the items on the list (which would cost me an extra $117!) should not result in them keeping my gas off; however, if I had a home inspection I could be fined. I told him my financial concerns and asked what the odds were that I wouldn't have my gas turned back on if it wasn't fixed. He wasn't sure, but and gave me words to use if they asked why it wasn't corrected. About 5 minutes later he walked back in the house with the $117 piece and said "I found some 'scrap metal', so don't worry about the fee." I was near tears... as I know he was simply doing it out of the kindness of his heart. He said it was because they were so late in getting there. He had all the repairs done within an hour for $590. I don't know if it was a reasonable fee or not, but knowing that he saved me for the metal, I'll be eternally gratefull! Shawn is a definite asset to this company!

Our sump quit working 12/24/15. We called them out urgently as we were going out of town 12/26. They sent out a dufus who put in a new sump but could not get the lid on. All for $2200. We could hear the sump from our bedroom and it seemed to run all the time. We called the dufus back out and he said it was working fine. He could not explain why it was running all the time and loud. Fortunately, the Basement Guy, found a leak in the pipe, put in a quieter high capacity sump, closed the lid for $600 and we are sleeping soundly again. Do not use these rip-off artists.

I had a problem with water leaking into the basement from a 1st floor bathroom, probably the shower. I had called another company 2 days earlier but, sadly, they did not show up at all when they were supposed to. So, I called The Waterworks and expected to wait a day (or more) for an appointment. Instead, I was happy to hear they could come out that afternoon. The plumber showed up early, assessed the problem right away, and fixed it within an hour. He was super professional and knowledgeable. He accepted my coupon for $35, too! Terrible customer service. Had a toilet replaced and asked for the seat to be left. I have called 5 times and told the tech will drop off the part when he's in the area. I had a Waterworks employee out to my house on a Wednesday, two and a half weeks ago to gather information so that I could be given an estimate. He was very professional and my husband and I were very happy. We had many questions and were looking for suggestions. He was knowledgeable and a very good communicator.

Skip ahead two and a half weeks. I've called the Waterworks office maybe 8 times (the ladies who answer the phone are always very friendly, which I appreciate). Still I have no estimate and no one has been able to give me a reason why. I left a message with the person who was putting together the quote asking him to call me back ASAP. It has been several days and I've received no phone call. I am going to look for someone else.

I had a plumbing issue where water was leaking into my basement from the kitchen. The kitchen faucet lost its seals and the basket in the sink lost its seal, so it was leaking from two places. I called a plumber from the Blue Pages because I am a Christian. That plumber did not show up. I called Water Works and they came out the very next day. The worker was pleasant and professional and knowledgeable. He replaced the faucet, the basket of the sink and I asked him also to switch out my master bath toilet. We had a brand new water efficient toilet in the garage for 2 years, unopened. The work was well done, in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. I recommend them to everyone.

We had a new countertop installed which required plumbing to be disconnected and reconnected. Our garbage disposal was 19 years old so we proactively replaced that, too. We needed a new expansion tank for our hot water heater and a repair for one of our toilets. Bradley took care of everything for us. He's very professional, gregarious, and prompt.

I just finished up somewhat of a nightmare situation shortly after moving into our house. Waterworks was a real pleasure to work with. I truly felt as if they had my best interest in mind and made decisions that resolved the issue in the least expensive way. Due to the scope of the project I had a number of workers on site, all of whom were professional and informative, specifically Art and Jim. I think these guys are probably the best in the area and would recommend them to anyone regardless of the size of job.

Plumbing problems are always emergencies, and Waterworks managed to get someone out the same day. It was late in the evening, but the technician was friendly, polite, cheerful and efficient. I could not have asked for better service, and their price was very similar to other companies that we have used in the past. We were very satisfied with the quality and the PRICE!

A good experience. The estimator, Terry, was able to tell me what a full reconstruction under current building codes would cost and also what I did NOT need to do to meet requirements for my home that was built under lesser standards.

My house had a leaky pipe, I tried but couldn't fix it. I called and they had Mark come out in the middle of the night. Mark was as professional as they come. Absolutely would recommend him. Not only fixed it but advised how to prevent it from happening again.

We had a completely clogged sewer line on a rainy weekday evening. Jose came out at 8PM, had to run the line 5 times to clear it, then put the camera through it to make sure it was clean. He ran the line one more time when he saw a spot he didn't like. He cleaned the place up great and was very friendly and personable to talk with during the work.

I used Waterworks to replace my sewer line, install a sump pump and roughs ins for a bathroom, and wet bar in my basement. The sales person was very professional during the bid process and gave us a good price for the work. The sales person was also honest about the urgency of some of the work which was not the case with some of the other contractors we spoke to. However once they started the work we had a number of problems. First they put the sink in the wrong location 2 times despite the fact that we had marked the location for them on the wall with permanent marker. Next, they called and told me that they had finished the work. However, when I came home I found that crucial parts of the project had not been touched and they left the basement looking like a mud pit. Finally, to top it all off they got a tool stuck in my sewer line on a Friday and had to shut off my plumbing for the weekend until they could get a permit to dig up the alley behind my house to get the tool out. After all these issues they were fair with me in issuing me a credit for the work but it wasn't worth the headache. A year and a half later my basement flooded when my sump pump failed due to the check valve not being installed properly. When I asked them to come out and look at the sump pump they told me they had no record of them installing a sump pump at my house! I would never recommend using this company even if they give you the best price. I think they are honest and ethical which is great but unfortunately those qualities can't cover up technical incompetency and bad record keeping.

Unfortunately, we had a sump pump issue late in the evening and needed a quick response before this became a problem. I was highly impressed with the plumber's response time and professionalism. Additionally, my interaction with the office staff has been positive as they have been very responsive and helpful. I was happy to have Waterworks assistance when problems arose.

We discovered a leak in the hallway of our condo building at 2pm on a Friday, and after much investigation, our management company was unable to locate the source of the leak. We called multiple plumbing companies and Waterworks was the only company that was willing/able to send a tech on a Friday afternoon/evening, and on top of that, they did not charge the after-hours rate because we scheduled prior to 8pm. The tech diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes of arriving on site (pinhole leak behind drywall), and had it repaired within an hour, doing relatively little damage to the wall and leaving the area clean and dry. The company even sent a second tech to help on his way home from his final job, to expedite our repair. The price was very reasonable - $340. We very much appreciated being able to have water for the weekend and would highly recommend Waterworks!

Timely response, but expensive. I've been having a few issues at a rental property lately, most of which they fixed. Most recently, however, I was charged $200 for the plumber to come out and tell me that my broken valve stem is old, corroded and will not budge. This much I knew from trying to remove it myself - but I guess you're paying for the expert opinion. Now I'm out $200 and the problem still very much exists. This poses a great question... what's the motivation to do a great job when you'll get paid just for trying?? BTW... I was told the $200 charge was because the plumber had to "access his tools" to diagnose the problem. As opposed to what, just staring at it to figure out what is going on?

In a pinch I might use Waterworks again, but not if I can help it.

These guys come about once every year or so for drain maintenance. We have a LOT of roots that get into the drain, which can definitely cause some problems.
There was a situation where the first go-round wasn't quite sufficient, which caused some issues, but they took care of it, quickly and professionally. These things happen, no hard feelings

Ryan & Sheri, from the Waterworks did an excellent job of identifying the root cause of the water leak and made a fix right away, though temporary, to stop the leak. They were very professional throughout the time they were here, right from the time they entered.

We had a new water heater put in by Chris the technician. He arrived, told us what we needed, gave us the estimate and put the new water heater in. He also cleaned up everything and didn't leave a mess; I appreciated that. Chris is a nice young man, a professional and very pleasant. Will call The Waterworks company in the future if need be. Thanks again Chris for doing such a great job and thanks to The Waterworks company too for sending Chris! :O)

I was charged $247 for a technician to put a small hole in the ceiling of my garage. I requested weekend service, so I understand that the service fee might be more expensive (in this case, $100), but an additional $147 for the 5 minutes it took him to make the hole, and not clearly articulate the problem/resolution seems a bit comical. Image if I would have had the technician continue to troubleshoot and fix the problem. If this price point is representative of the plumbing industry, then bad on me, but creating more damage than when he arrived, charging $247, and not resolving my issue seems off. I called into the office to review my bill that same day and was told I'd hear from someone by the next business day; I'm still waiting for that call.

I had a plumbing emergency at noon on Thanksgiving, and Waterworks was at the property within an hour. The city actually hit the main sewer stack when laying new cable lines, and Waterworks identified the problem. Another crew came out at 9:00 am the following morning and confirmed the issue. They were very responsive, and VERY fair on the pricing. I would recommend this company based on my personal experience with them.

I feel sure that Jose and Aloune will not want to see our 82 year old pipes ever again. Two full days of labor and they got it right. The price was not terrifying as one might think having to break through three rooms of plaster in order to get to those rusty pipes. This is our company from now on. The 5 stars go to you guys,With thanks. I like you, but I don't want to see you for several years lol.
