Our Mother/Daughter group rented a condo at En Soleil unit 1222 for 8/3-8/10 2018. 5 days before our arrival, we called Resort Collections and added her name to allow her to check in early. When she arrived she was told she was not on the list and could not check in. She had $450 worth of groceries in her car with frozen foods melting and they were not helpful at all. When we got into the condo, we quickly realized the condo was not the one in the picture on the website. We rented a condo with 2 queen beds, one king bed, two sofas and one pull out. We had one king, one queen and two toddler size bunk beds, one pull out. I called the property management and they said the pictures on the website are a representation of what we "might" receive. Oh, but, we could move into a 3 bedroom for $1000.00 more. This was obviously a bait and switch. The customer service was not good during our stay but, the worst was the bogus damage charge we received once home. They charged us $694.80 to replace a king comforter which they say had a stain that would not come out. We did not stain anything and even if we did, we paid an up front damage waiver fee of $49.00 that covers up to $1500.00 in damages. So, ultimately, we are out $743.80. I have asked for a receipt for the new comforter and for them to ship the damaged one to my house. I have stayed with En Soleil for the past 7 years and had the greatest experiences until I booked through Resort Collections property management. Someone is scamming renters, and pocketing the money. Here is a copy of the Damage Waiver Fee in their confirmation letter:

Damage Waiver Fee

To cover any unintentional reported damage during your stay, A non-refundable damage waiver fee of $49.00 has already been added to your reservation. This fee is applied on a per-unit basis and will protect both you and the unit's owner from any abnormal wear or damage to the unit. The damage waiver fee does not cover negligence or willful and wanton misconduct. The damage waiver is limited to a maximum damage payment of $1,500 per unit and is applicable for the guest's entire stay.

I hope that the Executive team at Resort Collections will look into this and make it right. I love En Soleil and I am deeply disappointed and saddened that my favorite vacation spot has been tarnished. I work hard for my money and it is disturbing that someone at Resort Collections had my bank card information and can randomly charge me for something I did not do and it is simply my word against theirs. Be aware of policies that allow this business to steal from you whenever they want and get away with it. So sad.

We were very happy when we saw our 2 bedrooms oceanfront room at the Emerald Resort . The view was amazing! The kitchen was all updated, the livingroom furniture was in perfect shape. We had a small problem with the master bedroom but Mykel at the front desk made sure he took care of it, and we were truly satisfied with him and how he handled the situation. The only thing we didn't like was how our beds felt. They were really soft and felt like we were falling into the mattress. BUT!! with everything else from customer service to the layout of the room being fabulous I decided to give this still a five star, I will most definitely stay here again and recommend it. I didn't want to leave.

We stayed in the 4 bedroom penthouse at En Soleil ...

We stayed in the 4 bedroom penthouse at En Soleil through resort collection and was very disappointed. I have stayed through private owners before and love this condo but would not recommend staying through resort collection. Check in was a mad house. We were supposed to check in at 4pm. We did not get to check in until 5:45 ish and they were not nice about it. We did get $50 back for checking in late. Once we were in we found that we did not have sheets in one of the bedrooms. The unit is very big and spacious but it is stuck in the 1990's. The kitchen appliances are broken and run down, there is no cover on the disposal, there are no measuring cups or baking pans, the ice maker does not work and barley any utensils. There are about 6 TV's that all need to be upgraded. There is a sound system through out the unit. You can see the speakers on the deck and in the unit. The outlets are on the wall to use them but no one knew how to use them. We stayed in the master bedroom and there were no hangers in the closet, no hair dryer, only 2 towels, 2 wash clothes. The glass door leading out to the deck from the master needs to be replaced. Really all the doors need to be replaced. There is rotted wooded that needs to be replaced everywhere. For what they rent the unit for they need to fix it up to be nice! It could be so much more than it is.

Just left another fabulous stay at Edgewater! What a wonderful time to be at the beach. The crowds were gone and our family was able to enjoy everything Edgewater has to offer. My daughter and I got to play the par 3, which is perfect for kids!

Just got back from a weekend trip at En Soleil. The unit we stayed in was incredible! We wanted to have a quick get away before school kicked off so we thought what better way than a beach trip. Resort Collection went above a beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The check in process was at Edgewater Beach Resort (not on site) and was so smooth we were in and out within 10 minutes. The 4 bedroom 3 bath unit met all of our needs in every way. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. All the beds were comfortable and everyone had enough space to themselves. We will definitely be staying through Resort Collection again simply because of the customer service, not to mention En Soleil is our new favorite spot!

We will never book with Resort Collection again. ...

We will never book with Resort Collection again. When we checked in the computer systems were down so they couldn t get us into a room. Now 2 days later they re calling us saying our reservation got cancelled and they fixed it but our room keys won t work. We are on the beach with our small children with no car keys to go get the new room keys that are multiple resorts down the strip. They really told my husband to get a car service to come get them!!!! Horrible rude unprofessional staff!!!

Edgewater is one of the greatest places to stay in...

Edgewater is one of the greatest places to stay in Panama City Beach, Florida. The easy accessibility to the beach and the pools is ideal. The team at Edgewater is great. We had a wonderful experience with the bonfire one night and the guys were friendly and timely with the setup and the breakdown. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from onsite which offer a variety of menus. Booking a chair on the beach is as simple as it can be whether you go through the Edgewater website or do it in person at the hut on the beach. The condos are wonderful and offer everything you need to enjoy your stay.

If I am traveling to Panama City Beach, the first location I am looking to book my stay is Edgewater.

My wife and I did a Stay-Cation here in Panama City Beach and ended up at Emerald Beach Resort. The place was enormous and very clean, employees had masks on, as did most of the guests. The room was great and also super clean, we had an awesome couple days looking at the waves roll in! We actually locked ourselves out of our room on the first night and the staff was very quick to get us a new key. The gym was really nice and there's a Starbucks located on property. We will definitely be coming back! Oh and don't forget the SkyBar 2-4-1's from 4pm-7pm! -Joel & Ariel

Our stay here was amazing. They never disappoint us and staff is always very friendly and attentive. The pool is pristine and beautiful and the beach is gorgeous. We cannot wait to return. We love coming here.

I have been staying at laketown wharf every year f...

I have been staying at laketown wharf every year for the last 6 years minus 1 out of the 6, However this time I decided to book though resorts collection, worse mistake ever! Checked in 06/01 to 06/03 Upon arrival we were given wrist bands and told if we take them off we would be charged 200 dollars to have them replaced and if they were ripping to come back and get another one before it breaks, I had to have myself and everyone in my unit ID photo copied prior to obtaining the wrist band, all this for which you would think be a very nice room! I beg to differ The first thing i noticed when entering the room was the door to the washer/dryer unit was broken and it constantly blocked the hallway, the A/C units kept going out, The Blinds look as if they had been up since they first opened the property, and some of them were missing and falling off, There was noo comforter set on the bed at all just a throw blanket and no pillow cases! And we only had a few towels..At one point Laketown wharf was about the only place i would recommend in panama city but I am extremely disappointed in what has become of this property and we will NOT be vacationing there again.

My stay was horrible. We had spiders in out shower coming from out the drain. The water from the sink and showers had a bad odor. And the carpet was very dirty and stained. The bed was uncomfortable and the sofa bed was hard as a rock. This resort will have to do better for me to return. And I will advise everyone I know to not stay with you all ever. My kids were scared to bath or shower because of the spiders so we had to wash off in the sinks. This is ridiculous for a place of this magnitude to have people staying in such filt. The rooms are out dated and the smell is bad. Please someone needs to contact me asap if you want my business again.

Terrible customer service. Zero direction given to...

Terrible customer service. Zero direction given to me upon arrival. Called with questions twice and sat on hold for 15+ Minutes twice and finally spoke to a woman that sounded irritated she had to answer my questions that should have been explained to me in the beginning. I called because our a/c wasn t working- again, another irritated woman that sounds like she hates her life and her job. They said they were going to send someone to fix it and then never heard anything from them. Stayed in many condos around the world with different companies and this is the worst service I ve received from people that are taking $1500 for one week. Good luck to anyone who decides to book with this company.

I have used Resort Collection for the past five ye...

I have used Resort Collection for the past five years and it has been great but this year has turned into a nightmare. Check in was supposed to be at 4pm, at 4:30 we were told they would call us when our unit was ready. We finally received our keys at 7pm, only to get to the unit and the keys will not work. We have called both phone numbers and left multiple messages and have not received a return phone call. We are now driving to the Majestic Beach Resort to see if someone there can help us, since that's who the second phone number sends us to. At this point I feel that I have paid for a complete day that I am not getting, not to mention the stress and aggravation. It is now 8pm and we have not been able to step foot in our room. This has already ruined my vacation. At this point I wish I could give ZERO stars.

We had such a wonderful stay at Emerald!!! Vanessa at the checkin desk was so friendly, and very informative in telling us were everything was. Our room view was absolutely breathtaking! The rooms were clean and the layout was just right for our little family getaway! Oh and the heated pools were perfect for swimming in December!!! Needless to say we enjoyed every moment of our stay and can not wait to book another Stay with resort collections!!!

Our team stayed at Edgewater for a company conference. The condo was clean, spacious and had a great view. The conference rooms were perfect for our team and the staff was super helpful for all of our needs. Highly recommend having a bonfire on the beach during your stay.

Just arrived at Edgewater golf and beach resort and couldnt be happier with my decision. The facility and all the amenities here are amazing! Golf course looks beautiful and green, the huge lagoon pool is a must see. The food at Oceans bar and grill is fantastic, not to mention the view from inside. Looks like it s going to be an amazing time here in Panama City Beach!

We booked a reservation at Long Beach Resort for a Saturday to a Saturday, but had to check in late. We messaged Resort Collection through VRBO to inform them that we would be checking in on Monday. On Monday morning, we received a message back stating that our reservation had been cancelled as a no-show. We did receive a refund, but it completely ruined our vacation. When I called, the agent I spoke with denied all responsibility and blamed VRBO. She stated that I should have called the resort instead of messaging on VRBO. This policy was stated nowhere in the VRBO listing or in any of the e-mails I received. Resort Collection needs to modify its policies and/or clearly state them to their guests. I will absolutely never book with Resort collection again.

The staff there are very nice and talkative with you. We stayed at Majestic Beach resort in tower 1. It was just my wife and I for the weekend getaway for our anniversary. The Summit, room 901 should be condemned!

After arriving, the front desk said they would call me when my 2bdrm suite would be ready. After taking all of the luggage in, I observed the room and was disgusted! The master bathroom had very visible mold and mildew, the wall paper was split and peeling at the top and bottom in both the bathroom and bedroom. Also, the bed spread had bleach stains, the old paint color was bleeding through the yellow paint. It smelled old and musty. It looked like it was never updated since the 1980 s. Also, the paint on the kitchen island was broken, all of the sinks look unsanitary. I have photos of proof!

I called the front desk and the rep was very unpleasant and wouldn t speak with me because she had to help her customers. I thought I was one too ? So I walked back down and was offered a full refund. That wasn t the best resolution, so I showed them the photos. Amazingly they were able to secure us a room at Edgewater but for one night! BTW the Edgewater facility and suite was absolutely beautiful, clean, smelled fresh and was the type of place you want to stay while on vacation.

They also offered to move my family and I back to The Summit for the duration of the trip. We declined as we didn t want to have another experience like the previous night. (We moved to another facility - it was exceptional). I will provide a review on their page.

So for two of the three days, I was busy packing and moving from one hotel to the next. I didn t enjoy the trip because of the inconvenience.

Not only that, they are still trying to figure out the refund.

I vacation multiple times a year and always give honest feedback. My intentions are to obviously help others who may want to use The
Resort Collection (and stay at The Summit) and to help the Resort Collection use this example to retrain their employees to be more helpful and professional.

I have stayed with Resort Collection numerous times over the years, most recently this spring. I am always very impressed with the responsiveness of their staff, the cleanliness of their facilities, the quality of their rental condos and their prices. Overall, I think it is the best Value in Panama City Beach and I will always stay there when I'm back in town.

Please ensure your employees no longer walk into our secured and gated subdivision, after work, dressed in their work clothes, who then go to the bathroom, change, and use the facilities without any legal right to do so.

I know as a company you must have posted somewhere the gate code. Further, seeing two employees pushing a laundry cart down the street makes the subdivision look like a flea-bag motel.

My wife and I frequently do a
staycation at one of the resort collection properties. This 2 night stay was at Majestic Beach Resort. Although the weather didn t cooperate, we enjoyed the heated indoor pool and hot tub. We were impressed with the care and cleanliness of both areas. The front desk staff were helpful and very friendly. Our room had a couple issues as our TV s didn t work, however maintenance came in short order and resolved the issue. The room was clean and the view from the 21st floor is breathtaking! We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

We stayed at Majestic Beach Resort for New Year's and really enjoyed our time there! The unit we stayed in was up-to date and well furnished. Everything was immaculately clean - the unit, along with all the common areas of the resort. All staff we interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable, and practicing safe COVID-19 protocols. It was raining most of the time we were there but that didn't stop us from taking advantage of the indoor pools.

Old old old furnishings,.sewer smell after showering, terribly dirty bedding and NO gulf view as promised. My family and I have stayed at Laketown wharf for years but this year we decided to book through Resort collections instead of booking directly. This has been our worse experience. We booked several units and all of them had issues. Some rooms did not have proper air conditioning. Others were dirty and every unit had dirty and broken furniture. I wouldn t recommend booking with these people to my worst enemy. If I could give a less than a 1 Star I would. Oh wait and not every unit comes with a full set of bedding! Just horrible!!

Our family stayed at Edgewater from Christmas Eve ...

Our family stayed at Edgewater from Christmas Eve through January 2nd. There were 9 of us and we stayed at a penthouse condo. It was fantastic. It had an upstairs with a bedroom, bath, dining area, small kitchen and a huge deck. The downstairs was 2 suites and the 4th bedroom had a queen bed and 2 bunks. So, there was plenty of room for all of us. There was also a deck around the main floor. Beautiful view of the ocean and surroundings. We could not have been more thrilled with this condo. My husband, our daughter and son also played the golf course at Edgewater and it was great as well. I'd highly recommend this for your next vacation. Couldn't have been better. We loved it. We were in Tower 3, room 1212. I highly recommend this for families. Plenty of room, all the amenities and just an overall great experience. Thanks, Edgewater, for one of our best Christmas' ever.

My family and I recently stayed at Edgewater Beach and Golf Resort for a weekend beach retreat. We have stayed in PCB numerous times over the years but never at Edgewater. We were blown away with the amenities that are provided at this facility. The Beach Service staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, there was hardly a wait to purchase our rental chair, AND the beach staff came by regularly to check on us. The big pool was to die for! Very clean with ample chairs for guests to sit. This is hands down the best pool deck in Panama City Beach! A BIG thank you to Nick and Bruce for their efforts to make us feel special during our stay at Edgewater. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

Stayed at the lake town wharf through this company from (5/20-24). Everything was good at check in. However, after check out they charged my card twice. Called in to find out what charges were for. Said they will have someone call me back and they never did. Don t recommend booking through this company. (Booking was under Eduardo Mendoza)

We stayed in a 3 bedroom that was not clean and a roach in the kitchen. Not sure why as they charge 135.00 cleaning fee. I was also told when I checked in that I would have an damage hold put on my card and it would be returned if there was no damage. After I left they did not return the damage fee. After calling was told it was not a damage fee but insurance that the guest must pay for. Also told the person that checked me in was misinformed. Maybe train your employees as to not misinform guest. Before you stay here just know after you pay the nighty price you still need to pay cleaning fee, Insurance, and parking.

Jesus this place sucks! Stay far far away. Spend almost 700 dollars for three nights to get terrible service, horrid room, and the worst place Ive ever stayed in in my life. Worst than a motel. Do yourself a favor and goto Sleep Inn or Ocean Breeze or any of their chains for 1/4 the price and ten times better everything. Pictures are a complete lie. This place is awful. Tried calling, emailing and writing a letter before putting a negative review but tbey refused to help me come to a resolution. Literally walked up 15 flights of stairs at Majestic because the elevators took so long.

They would not allow us to have our money back or cancel for weather purposes unless the hotel had to evacuate. I have never had a place act this way and I will not be spending a vacation in the middle of a hurricane. Very sad and unfortunate

We have been staying at Long Beach Resort for almo...

We have been staying at Long Beach Resort for almost 20 years through private owners on Airbnb and VRBO, but this stay with Resort Collection was unlike any stay we have had at Long Beach. It was TERRIBLE from the first moment we arrived.

First of all, we received conflicting information on where to check in. We received a message through Hotels.com, where we booked the stay, saying to check in at Edgewater. When we arrived at Edgewater after our 5 hour drive from Georgia, we were told to go to Majestic to check in.

After we grabbed keys and armbands and paid for an extra cleaning fee at Majestic, we made our way to Long Beach, where we found the room in absolute filth. During a pandemic no less. The toilet was completely vandalized with other people s feces and was not functional. We drove back to Majestic after we called multiple front desks who could not help us.

We did not want to stay in that room because of the pandemic and the lack of sanitization, but we were told that there were no other available rooms at ANY other Resort Collection property. We were offered a refund, but there was nowhere else to go that was comparable. We had already driven 5 hours to get there.

They called maintenance and housekeeping to go back to the room, which should have been done BEFORE our stay and not when we arrived. This was around 5:30. They told us they d call when it was ready.

No one ever called us, so we went back to Majestic to inquire. This was around 7:30. They told us it was ready, but no one informed us. We had to drive BACK to Majestic to get any information.

They cleaned the toilet, but the room looked like they only changed the sheets between stays. In the middle of a pandemic. They did take the time to take all of the blankets off the beds. We were never informed that comforters were taken away and that we d only be provided with sheets. We had to go buy a comforter, along with cleaning products.

On top of that, the room looked like nothing had been replaced or updated since the 1980s. The lamp shades were broke. The furniture was stained, worn out and rusted. It was extremely disappointed. You should NOT be renting this room to people.

During our entire stay, we had maintenance in and out of our room. Our air conditioning was broken. That wasn t fixed until the 3rd day. Our toilet was never fixed. They told us they were going to put an entirely new toilet in, but no one ever came back to do that. We spent the entire stay with a toilet that didn t flush.

Our vacation was spent on the phone with the front desk and maintenance. It was not relaxing. It was not enjoyable. I cannot express enough how awful our stay was.

Management and maintenance were very nice and apologetic the entire time, but no solutions ever came of it.

My family and I enjoyed our beach vacation at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort. The booking and check-in process through Resort Collection was a breeze, the room was perfect for my family, and the view was spectacular. My son and I had a great time in the pool, and Ocean's Bar & Grill was very convenient to have on property (they have good fish tacos and margaritas). We love Panama City Beach!

Edgewater Beach Resort is a great place to stay when visiting Panama City Beach. Convenient to Pier Park and the Emerald Coast Cruizin event I like to attend. Super nice gated resort with plenty of secured parking for my antique car. Ocean s is a terrific restaurant on property, and they have great take out food if prefer to dine in the room. Once back at the resort, you have everything you need. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Will return in the Spring.

Very poor quality of condos when you book a vacation should have quality equal to price paid, we paid high price for very out dated unit, furniture broken, worn and dirty, carpets so bad couldn't walk barefoot. Stove burners inop, refrigerator moldy broken door inop temps. Ceiling fell in furnace went out 3 times and power shout off by power company due to lack of paying bill. Don't know how they can stay in business with this poor quality of product I know resort collection does not own the units but they need to represent a higher quality of condos.

Booked a Condo at Edgewater for my parents to spend Thanksgiving. We book condo s 3 or 4 times a year for them and we have never had an unpleasant experience with Resort Collection. This condo was the nicest we have ever stayed in. It was our first time in tower 3. This unit, #513 was impressive from the moment we walked in. It was a warm day and the A/C was set perfectly. It was clear someone had paid attention to almost staging the unit for our arrival. The shades drawn back to reveal a panoramic view of the gulf from the full floor to ceiling windows and patio doors was a WOW factor. The furniture in this unit is high end quality and plenty of room for seating. The TV was a large 50 plus flat screen perfect for watching football. The dining room table was large enough to accommodate our entire family for the Thanksgiving meal. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of silverware, flatware, and useful gadgets. My parents (both in their 80 s) went on and on about how well they slept in their beds.

This resort had clearly posted notices about wearing masks, social distancing, and their sanitizing procedures which gave us the comfort level we need to feel safe in these crazy times. Our stay simply couldn t have been more enjoyable. I don t see any reason to go anywhere else in the future. This resort has everything you need. Great time at the Edgewater Conference Center. I've been in conference centers that could not keep up with the heat and despite mid 90s temperatures, we had a conference room in the 60s (temperature was controllable by us too). Easy beach access and water views were a plus.

We booked through Resort Collections to stay at Long Beach Resort.

Let me start by saying my boyfriend and I stayed in this resort in 2018 with no problems at all, we loved it! So much so that we decided to stay there again this year with my brother and his wife and get a two bedroom condo for 5 nights.
Check in was quick and easy. We get to the room and it s all down hill from there. Listed are the problems we noticed IMMEDIATELY.

There was blinds missing in every single room. Not just missing but you couldn t open them either. You touch a blind and it falls to the floor. The strings that connect them to be able to open and close was also broke. This became a major problem when you want to sleep in ON VACATION and can t because the blinds are half missing.
The locks did not work, along with the back door being extremely difficult to open. Once you get it open it s nearly impossible to close.
One word: FILTHY. During a pandemic you would think they would do extensive cleaning. NOPE. There was still Chex Mix, that was not ours might I add, plain as day behind the tv. Anyone walking from the master to the living room couldn t miss it. We opened a drawer and there was A WHOLE PIECE OF PIE and the plate just chilling in there. Again, not from us.
The door knob to the master balcony door was falling off, along with the trim (which we could deal with)
There are numerous windows where you couldn t even see out because of how unclean they are. Literally.
We turn on the TV to TRY and relax. I mean we are there to do that. What do ya know... it doesn t work. We had to rig it to work enough so we could see a picture, which at this point didn t really matter anyways because the blinds prevented us from being able to watch tv because they sun was shinning right in on it.
We go to change the TV channel, what we could see, and HA. There was no batteries in the remote.

Y all, I wish I was making this up. I have pictures and have attached them(If you do not see, the site did not allow me to add the pictures). We did what anyone in our situation would do after paying over $1600 and finding ALL THAT. We went to the office. Told them all the issues. Let me say that wasn t all, but the major ones. They told us they were all booked up and we couldn t get another room. She then proceeded to say that they would credit us back the cleaning fee, $25 per night for the blinds, and $25 per night for all the other things we were inconvenienced by because there was already a work order for the room and they don t know when the owner will get there to fix them.

Fast forward to check out. They did in fact credit back the cleaning fee but that was it. We asked about the rest and was told they offered us another room and we didn t take it... NO MA AM. No one in their right mind would have stayed in that room if offered another. The lady I spoke with specifically told me she spoke to us personally. I have never seen that lady a day in my life, so that was wrong, but leads me to believe this happens often. 0/10 I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, nor will I EVER stay there again. They lost repeat customers with this one. $1600 to stay in a DUMP.

Let me also add that you could barely shower because the shower pressure is SOOOO low.

UPDATE: Just checked our receipt. We WERENT credited the cleaning and damage fee like we were told. We were credited a free night, which is at least $50 less then what the cleaning and damage fees are combined. Once again, we were lied to. All in all we still spent roughly $1400 to stay in a dump.

Absolutely abhorrent. I can t believe this was listed as a 4 star resort on Hotwire. Dirty, nasty, and unscrupulous, I ve had a better experience at a 2 star motel.

The first surprise was the crazy cleaning and resort fee of $175 for just a 1 night stay. I was already expecting a resort fee, but $175 is more than what the room cost to begin with, which was $128 for 1 night ($167 after taxes). Still, I reluctantly agreed, and then readied myself for a sweet 4 star experience.

The room was on the property across the street from the registration office, which is really inconvenient since you have to also return the wristband at checkout or they ll charge you another $20. The only restaurant on property is also across the street. When I pulled up to my villa I was presented with a stucco building that looked more like a motel. Not great from the outside but I was content to find my villa to be a pretty spacious 1 bedroom (1.5 bathroom) apartment on the second floor complete with kitchen and laundry. The appliances were old and the cabinetry was dated, but it had a warm feel to it. But I soon realized that my $175 cleaning fee was wasted on a fantasy. The pictures speak for themselves but feel free to keep reading.

The next unfortunate surprise came about as seeing tissue paper in the toilet, still unflushed. A small oversight I guess so I forgave it. But then I laid on one of the queen beds to rest, and to my horror I spotted a few inches from my face a crusty white substance staining the blanket in several locations. Thank goodness the other bed was ok. As I walked to the other bed I noticed the carpet was stained and dirty, certainly unbecoming of a 4 star resort. I headed back to the bathroom to wash away my disappointment. I discovered a bit of dried bloody spittle on the sink vanity when I unfortunately rested my finger on it as I leaned towards the mirror. I spotted a vacuum cleaner in the closet and was driven to actually try cleaning the room myself, but as soon as I plugged it in I realized I was bamboozled. It was broken, like my hopes for this place.

The bath tub was a premanufactured plastic atrocity that was deformed on the bottom and allowed almost no light in to actually see what you re doing. I nevertheless welcomed a hot shower until I noticed a slow drain that quickly accumulated into a couple inches of nasty bath water after just a couple of minutes. Alas, as I splashed through that grimy water I realized it was still not deep enough to drown my massive disappointment. In retrospect I find myself happy that checkout is at 10am because I can t wait to get the hell out of here.

I would never stay here again, I ve stayed at nicer spots for 80% less money, and I would not recommend this property to anyone. The cleaning fee is a sham, just like the worthless prop of a vacuum cleaner. They should be ashamed.

We visited Panama City Beach and stayed at Edgewater Beach Resort for the first time and I don t ever plan on renting again. We have rented lots of homes and some condos from other companies in various beach locations but I feel Resort Collections pictures are a misrepresentation of what you get. They have a nice condo featured and it does say this may not be the condo you will be staying in but they should all be the same standard. We stayed in Tower 3,Condo 804 and it was in need of various updates or repairs The main family room and bedroom had carpet that is in need of repair. We had to cover one area with a towel because we were stepping on nails. Also, carpet at the beach is disgusting. The condo was not modern and could use a lot of updating. The curtains were torn in places and the comforter in the bedroom had bleach stains. Also, it was so thin, it didn t even keep us warm at night. The patio had one chair and the other was broken;therefore, we never got to enjoy the balcony.I m use to renting from management companies that have high standards. We were very disappointed but we made the best of it because we wanted our children to enjoy their mini vacation. I m thankful we were only there 5 days because I couldn t of stayed longer. There were so many things that this condo could use improvements on but I can t possibly list them all.

Beautiful rooms with everything you need for a great weekend. The rooms overlooking the gulf were awesome. Clean, and convenient. Would recommend this place to anyone. The restaurant Oceans served up the best pancakes and big breakfast. Being onsite, on the beach was so convenient. Great bartender and wonderful beach drinks. Great place to stay!

Shores of panama was a joke! Nasty run down rm. Parkin was HORRIBLE ( parkindeck ) elevators HORRIBLE had to climb stairs constantly! pool had no available chairs unless u run at 8am to get one! Refrigerator leaked all over floor. Ac made loud noise. Washer was broke the floor in the codo were lifting and coming up hard to walk on And beach access on and off was super crowed only one way down! The beach area in front of cono was 4 wide blue chairs. Way yo many people in one area! We love pcb and have been goin for 20yrs. This was the worst place every!! Lots of issues take it from a friend that loves pcb to never stay at shores of panama!!

The Shores of Panama is horrible! They failed to mention there fee to use the amenities is $35/day per person. Amenities includes the beach and pool! The bracelets they make you wear, like your under age, fade when getting in the pool and the scanner will not let you in to the pool area. Room 1923 has terrible beds. My 7 yr old daughter was laying on the couch bed in the living room and cut her back in 3 spots. It really needed to be glued it was so bad. They sent a bill for the blood stains. You would think the $190 cleaning fee would've covered that. The security is a joke. They allowed high school kids to smoke marijuana on the balcony and scream all night. Beer cans, vomit, drunk high schoolers in the elevators. This place draws you with their pool and it's not heated! Please do not make the same mistake we did by choosing to take your only vacation and spend over $1500 on a dump!! We used our laundry detergent to clean all the towels and left the place spotless on checkout day. Then to learn that my baby girl bled that much before she told me she was hurt makes me sick!

My wife and I stayed at one of their condos Longbeach resort a week later they billed me for ninety dollars for some stains on some dinning room chairs that we never sat in pulled out or even touched we ate out every meal even breakfast we mostly sat out on the balcony most of the time there that's why we stayed there but this is how these companies make thousands of extra dollars a year cheating people we use to own a condo there and used a company like this to rent it and every month I would get some bogus charge we had a three bedroom and would rent out the efficiency one afternoon I caught them knocking on the efficiency door opened my door she said the people needed another coffee cup there was NO ONE IN THE ROOM CAUGHT HER RED HANDED IN A LIE! But when you do these things to honest people they make a lot of extra money every year think of it hundreds of condos screwing the renters and the owners. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

I chose a property at a resort we have stayed in for 25 years, so I am familiar with the unit numbers and addresses. I reserved a unit on the newer side of the property. Since Resort Collections owns 2 units on this property, the lady I paid switched us to the older unit on the same day that I paid our deposit. I even questioned her that day about the address/unit number she put on the contract. She assured me that it was the correct unit. She lied. When we arrived to check in, we went straight to their office, because the directions they were giving me was not where I had reserved. At this point, we were stuck and not able to find another place to stay. Since we had stayed at the resort for years, I knew there were rental price differences between the newer side and the older side. They tried to tell me that since they own both units, that they rent for the same amount. After arguing with them, they did finally refund us about $200. The shower/bath in the second bathroom did not work the entire time we were there. Our son had to use our shower everyday. The condo was not supplied with basic items for a vacation. We had to purchase skillets and a coffee pot. I will never, ever rent from these people again.

I stayed at this property 2 weeks ago and upon arrival everything was very nice. The view was absolutely amazing and the unit was very spacious. After leaving and returning home, I received an email concerning additional charges for a stain left on the comforter in one of the rooms. I called and spoke to Hannah she explained it was a pink stain, (The result of 1 of the girls sitting on the bed after getting out of the pool). I asked why would I be charged for a stain when the comforters have to be washed after check out? Her reply to me was, "No ma'am we do not wash the comforters after each guest." I was disgusted and angry to find out I paid hundreds of dollars + a resort fee + cleaning fees to lay on something that may have been on the bed for countless weeks and or months! I was angry because I was charged for something that wasn't clean upon arrival for one and secondly, because following Hannah Jones and my conversation I emailed her and never received a reply. If this is the policy of Resort Collections, maybe just maybe your workers shouldn't be informing guests of it when they call with concerns about additional charges! Can you imagine what all goes on during Spring Break in Panama City in them rooms and you guys don't think it's logical to change bed linens?

I don't even know where to start. Everything is so ran down! The AC filter was so dirty and disgusting that I had to replace it my self. And I'm just starting, our room had towels BUT the towels had a toilet plunger sitting right on top of them! Had to run to Walmart to buy new towels and new bed sheets because the sheets also look like they had sperm on them. There is also no internet on the top rooms, so I had to find a Starbucks to do work from my computer because not even the internet cafe was working. I think its ridiculous all of the fees you must pay for every little thing the hotel can think of applying fees too. Example a huge cleaning fee for a 1 time clean?! So if I stay more than a week I only get the room cleaned after leaving? And honestly doesn't even look like its getting done. Also, what kind of hotel makes you wear a wristband 24/7 that you cant even remove while away from the hotel?! And if you loose it you get slapped with a crazy fee that makes you wonder if wristbands actually cost that much money! It seemed like I was at a club everyday every time i had appointments with clients. On top of all of this is that if you go during off-season you will only find someone in the front desk like 3 or 4 days out of the week and only in the day time. So if you loose your key after hours or during the days that the front desk is not open you'll have to drive to another location to get another key, but wait! What happens if you also left your wallet in the room?! Now you dont even have a way to prove who you are unless they drive back with you, open the door for you so you can show them the I.d. Worst hotel experience ever, I've stayed at ran down MOTELS before and they have been way better than this!

The room was very clean and comfortable and the sunset view from the balcony was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helped with every aspect of our stay. Booked them through Expedia, at the Laketown Warf. Not only did I not get the ocean front room that I paid for, but the room was dirty!!! I went back to the main office two times to express my concern and they said they had someone coming to clean . I waited two hours before insisting on a clean room and the manager was not very helpful. I don t feel like I should have to stop my vacation THREE DIFFERENT TIMES to drive to TWO DIFFERENT PROPERTIES to fix their mistakes. And the room was simply okay. Stains everywhere (carpet and couches) and the walls are a mess. It s just been awful

I stayed at Laketown Wharf for the third time, but...

I stayed at Laketown Wharf for the third time, but this time I booked through Hotwire which sent me through Long Beach Resort, Resort collections and not directly through the resort. I had to check in at a different location, which was a little bit of an inconvenience and was told if I had problem after hours that I'd have to call or go to a different resort to handle the issue. I'll never book third party again. They were nice enough to move us from the 6th floor to the 18th floor when I requested a higher floor. This 2 bedroom ocean front was smaller than the 2 bedroom we booked a few years ago. We decided to book this location for a third time because of the amount of space in the condo, so we were a bit disappointed to have less space. I was pleased to see they had a playpen and high chair for my 2 year old son. We found dirty dishes, hair and dirt (or something resembling dirt) in the refrigerator, hair on one of the towels, and the master shower was dirty. I didn't say anything because as a former housekeeper years ago, I know how hard it can be to get everything cleaned in a short amount of tume, but from now on I know to speak up even about the little things. Housekeeping only came when we checked out so from 7/3- 7/8, we had to re wash towels and washcloths. Then, I was charged $28 plus a 20% service charge of $5.60 for a total of $33.60 for them to send a comforter and pillow shams to the dry cleaner for so called "stains" that was actually lotion. I was told they had to send it to the dry clearner because the comforter would have gotten torn up at regular laundry service. So it sounds like they do not wash comforters or shams if nothing is visable to the eye and if they do, they charge you for something that should be done after every guest, especially ones staying 5 days. I am appalled, upset, and very disappointed!

The staff, especially Debra Abram and Laura Hanlin, make all the difference in the world! We love the facility and the professionalism we experienced is second to none! I HIGHLY recommend the Edgewater Beach Resort!

Last week I organized a 2.5 day meeting at Majestic Beach/Resort Collection for (130) people. First and foremost MB/RC did an outstanding job executing as planned, making adjustments on the fly and were incredibly accommodating. The entire staff was upbeat, professional and willing to go the extra mile - it was one of the best meetings I have worked on! The meeting rooms were in very good condition as was were the sleeping units. I highly recommend this venue for your next meeting. I worked with Debra on the execution of this meeting and it was just flawless. BTW - location location location! :)

Horrid customer service ! I Almost got Killed by a water moccasin here !!!!!!!! In the parking lot I stepped right on it on near a drain !! They have no pest control or help !!!! I went to the office to get help and the supervisor malesa Mabius laughed at me and told me " it's not poisonous Its fine " and refused to help me , eventually whIle my husband watched it so no barefooted child stomped on it and I begged for help to every employee and they wouldn't help me or even go look at it . A off duty employee and a nice guy in a pick up truck helped shove it back in the drain with a shovel. So it will most likely be back out again when the sun comes out . When I went back to the office to tell her it was gone she kept giggling like this was somehow funny . I was offered no apology , incident report , or even asked if I was okay ! I will never promote this place to anyone ! And as I was leaving to wash my knee from falling I was asked why I wasn't wearing my wristband , are you kidding me !!!!! What a horrible person , literally no empathy or care of the guests.

Absolute worst customer service. Every employee I encountered was extremely rude and unhelpful. Based on the reviews it seems as though I m not the only one who had this experience. They also have ridiculous policies like charging $17 for a lost parking decal. Seems as though someone at Resort Collection would care about these terrible reviews and address the it.

The rooms were spacious, and the view was amazing (we stayed at Edgewater). Minor issues we had with the room were taken care of promptly. The evening bonfire rental was a really cool experience, and the staff tending the flames were courteous throughout.

Very Lazy people from the top of the ladder which causes the people of the bottom to be lazy as well. They do not care about their guests. They ask for top dollar and they give poor services. I do not understand why the owners of the condos they represent stay with them. I WILL avoid all of the resorts they manage in the future and encourage there owners to dump them.

Stayed at Edgewater June 21-23. Booked reservation through Travelocity. Did not see any mention of additional fees. Upon booking my non cancelable reservation, received an email about addition fees. Had to pay $175 in fees and taxes. Would ve been better off at almost any other place in Panama City. The so called Resort is outdated; place is dingy, dark, not clean and not at all as pictured on Travelocity website. The ceilings are really low and it feels almost like a trailer with no light.
One of the janitorial staff when asked informed me tell me they have to clean 200 units apiece each day!!! The floor has definitely not been cleaned. The 24 hour customer service is a joke, one of the staff argued with me that the very limited maintenance staff have 13 properties to maintain and they have many more pressing issues, when I tell him that is not my problem, he says it isn t his either!
We were provided with arm bands (that not one person checked); if we didn t return them when we checked out it would be a $20/person fee.
Never ever ever ever book with this joke of a company!!!! Save yourself the trouble, there are many many nicer & less expensive places to stay!
