Boardwalk Beach Resort Review

The place has went down hill on customer service. Very disappointed . Won't come back there and I think they dont care if they lose business if I could I wouldn't give them 1 star.

Bad Stay..Checked In Room was Dirty, Dirty Wash Cloth On Shower, No tissue, Remote Buttons Missing, Counter, Stove, Tables Had Sticky Food All Over It & I had To Clean It Off which is Crazy then only 1 Towel was in the Bathroom & I Stay Here All The Time But Will Not Be Coming Back..

It was wild lots of partying and ppl pouring beer in pools not a family place....other then that it was nice condo and clean...its a party house my kids hated it

Good location, close to the beach, good parking, pool choices were great for the kids. No smoking rules are not followed/enforced and scent travels from balcony to balcony which was unpleasant for us as non-smokers. Overall great place for the price

Just awesome and I been here few times and going back again this year was just there last weekend :-)

Not many good encounters with staff members with horrible attitudes.

Fantastic shops, dinner choices are abundant. Fireworks on Tuesdays and Fridays. Many unique things. Kids love feeding the fish.

I was hardly at the room but no complaints I loved our view

Hotel seriously needed an update. Check in building/lobby was about the only nice part of the hotel. The room was outdated and did not look anything like the pictures online. There was stains on the chairs and pull out couch, holes in the carpets and bathroom walls. The mini fridge was dirty I had to clean it myself before using and it didn t stay shut. Only one elevator worked which always smelled like weed. The floors to the elevator looked like they where coming apart. The ice machine always had water around it with huge puddles and no caution sign around the water either. I m 7 months pregnant and always had to watch for the water so I didn t slip and fall. The lazy river only had 5 inter tubes so don t get your hopes up for using the lazy river. Chairs out on the patio where super old and very rusty. Only good part of the hotel was the location, front staff was friendly and the AC in the rooms worked great.

Stayed in the older tower but my room was VERY CLEAN!! Yes it is an older building however the location and price im happy with!
Just pray to God you don't get a group of inconsiderate bikers who for some reason turn the lobby of a tower into a meet spot to rev bikes all hours of the night!

I had a ball. The patio and pools were amazing. The room was nice and the view was amazing. The room had a jacuzzi tub that was awesome.
I highly recommend this place. It was very reasonably priced and not too crowded.
Definitely worth my money and I will be returning!

They messed up my reservation and instead of giving us the extra day they was trying to make us pay an extra 130 dollars.

The rooms were clean and perfect distance from the beach.

I love it there you get the food that has the bang with the buck

The beach is loved by all of my kids..who wouldn't like the beach..its calm and peaceful place to play or relax..

Smoking rooms available but bring Febreeze or something. Our room smelled like an ashtray, only drawback. I would stay here again.

Only thing going for the place is the pools. My 9 year old daughter found bed bugs In her bed and we had to stay in the unit until it was confirmed there were bed bugs. we weren't reimbursed for the washing of our things because the exterminator had to treat them.Customer service seem very unconcerned. I have news experienced anything like this ever!

They had bed bugs they told me they would call pest control but instead they sent a maid in there with a flash light and said they found no bugs and the manager was very rude they said I brought them from my home and we left I would never stay there again I went to Sea mist best hotel I've ever went to

I will never stay at this property again after i reserved my room my debt card got hacked for 4 days straight.The only place i used my card was when i checked in, also the elevators didnt work people where getting stuck in elevators for 3days also property was dirty and Jacuzzi did not work for our whole stay, trust me do not stay here.

I wish I could give a 0. The hotel room was poorly and I saw a rodent running around on the last day. Some of the lights did not work and there was no tv in the room. It was very dirty and did not give us what we needed. There were loud noises so I could not sleep and it stunk.

I wouldn't recommend this motel disguised as a resort . I don't know how the main tower looks but I've stayed here twice. The first room was okay I didn't have a choice. But this time we were put in the north tower. And let me say ew! Nasty Nsaty Nasty. We called and asked for another room in the main or south tower. This is were they get the two stars super nice people work there. We were put in the south tower 2 and honestly it was not that much better. People smoking weed all weekend people fighting and cussing in the next rooms shower and toilet didn't drain our bed didn't even have a fitted sheet on it. The fridge was rusted the tv was so small and the picture was fuzzy. Both rooms had bad odors to them. The first room we were in shouldn't even be allowed to be bought it's nasty! The hot tub was not hot like it was cold pool water. The pools were dirty. I will not stay there again. They only thing that place has going for them is the people that work there. It needs serious upgrades.

Two stars for the beachfront view. The room we had in the South Tower was disgusting. Shower/bathtub wasn't draining properly, sheets were covered in stains, and the carpet looked it was 25+ years old. Outdoor pools were okay and they were clean for the most part. I would not stay here again and I recommend you look elsewhere as well.

This is a HORRIBLE place! Not clean, staff is rude! Only pleasant part was the lazy river. It's old and needs serious updating! Didn't even feel comfortable walking in our room without shoes on! DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES! NOT ACCURATE AT ALL!

Roaches we had to changed
rooms 3 times due to roaches, we even changed Buildings and still had roaches they call them palmetto bugs=roaches

Room was falling apart the rugs were old and dirty, kitchen area the paint on cabinets was falling off. Also the wallpaper in the room was bubbled and coming off. I think them using the word resort should be illegal and not be able to use it. Only good thing was location and the balcony facing the beach, where we spent the entire time there and not in the room. We would have went somewhere else but they were full or $300 a night!!!! Wish I could put real pictures on here but it will not let me idk why!

Was put in old building, when booking room was not given a chose. Only 2 elevators and one was stuck in 6th floor. Our room was on the 6th floor so other elevator would not stop and had to use stairs for the first day. The room was awful. Nothing was cleaned. Hair in the shower. Toilet was dirty. Half the stove did not work. Beds looked to be very old. No towels, and they don't provide coffee in rooms. Called front desk and they just made excuses of being short staffed. Had to go buy bleach to wipe everything down in order to feel comfortable enough to stay. Too late to find new place to stay Will not return.

Went there, walked around, it was okay, there was lots of dingers there. 5/10 good if bored

Very very disappointed with the service I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there .if they ask for a star it would be a zero.

After booking out 4th of july vacation I saw reviews and was frightened to see where we were staying. When arriving check in was great. Going to our room expecting the worse, I was very pleased. Room was very clean and free from odor. The beds were not hard as one review stated. Very comfortable. 2 of the
buildings are older but in great condition. Not modern but nice. Very reasonable priced. Very happy with our stay and will be back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation The Boardwalk Resort

This place is terrible. I never got my 100$ deposit back, it's disgusting, the elevators are very sketchy, the whole place stinks, and while your out of your room they will come in there and clean up and look at your stuff. I will never stay here again and advise anyone to never stay here.

The little boardwalk buildings on the side are nasty if you can t get the main building leave ! These covers are nasty, the tv has no cable I do not recommend unless you get the main building .

It old and ancient need update bad it has a bad smell will never rent again from there is so low class definitely need to update there website because it false advertising the room aren't anything like the website I give it one stars.

I have read several negative reviews about this place which had me VERY skeptical about staying here. We are in the main tower, and everything is perfect! Maybe it's because I rented through a rental company and our condo is nothing short of excellent, I don't know. The ONLY reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because the elevator area can be tiresome. They need to put an exhaust fan in all of those areas because it is HOT while waiting. I mean to the point of where I felt like I was going to pass out. Other than that, our stay has been excellent!!!

Well the Location and View is Awesome. The rooms are so very outdated. I guess for the location and price it was not too bad. Could definitely go for some remodeling. Staff was good.

Room was affordable, the front desk people were friendly, and there were actual smoking rooms with an ashtray. Parking was a bit precarious, but we expected that.

Not a good place to stay unless you like the smell of pot.

Clean room, double bed, kitchen, pools, nice staff. Bring dish detergent, spray for pans & alumni foil for oven,also coffee. Also roaches found in kitchen.

I absolutely love the Boardwalk. Our family has been staying here over 2 decades. We refuse to stay anywhere else. Love love love the Boardwalk!!! Our home away from home!

Poor service, only one lift working, give only one small soap so take your stuff

It was horrible. Room was dirty. Dried urine and feces on the toilet seat. Whole floor smelled like marijuana. Food ground into bathroom floor. Sliding glass door didnt lock. Carpet had holes in it. When I said something to the clerk at check out she said they don't clean the rooms and we should have had the common sense to call. Not worth single penny I paid and pictures are very misleading.

Ppl working there are very rude. No water pressure in shower or hot water anywhere. Very out dated. Couldn t sit on the one side of the balcony bc the water drips from the air conditioner above us. Elevators were scary to even use. The only thing nice was the outside sitting area n the beach. Pool closed at 6. Bc of the virus. While all other pools in the area were opened. They never mentioned it. Never again will we stay here.

Don't stay here and don't waste your time giving it a review. You will just get some random garbage response in return. They won't get my $800 plus next year for sure. Rude staff everywhere here.

The room was soo small. The front desk staff were really rude . Both women s didn t want to give me a other wrist band because I left it in my room that I check out. It just bothers me that I couldn t use the pool the day before because it was closed but now I can t use it because I had to check out at 11 and I left my wrist band there and I want to use the Pool before I left. But they told me no and telling me that isn t their fault that it was closed. It s a sad experience because I paid for a room and to go to the pools now I can t.

The Boardwalk Beach Resort was good. There pools were clean and the lazy river was also. It wasnt too crowed.

This has been a very enjoyable experience. The staff and people are very friendly. Leaving tomorrow and am not wanting to go home.

For the price Boardwalk on the Beach is fantastic. The receptionists were kind and professional. The room although needing some updates was nice and clean. The only issue we had is the door requires an actual key, that got stuck in our door after 5 minuets of being there. The maintinance personnel showed up in about 15 min and removed the key. Other then this I would say that Boardwalk on the Beach is perfect for both young couples (between the ages on 25-30) and families. I would receommend either the Main Building or the North tower these seem to be the nicest. Also the oceanfront room is a must! We will deffinetly be back next year!

My sister and I booked our room in advance and we were both disqusted and disapoointed. The room looks old, dated and nasty. The furniture was from the 70s. Tables chipped in areas, the bathroom was too hot and needed a step stool to climb in the bathtub where the drain didn't even work. The hallways were like a sauna, the elevator last inspection date was 2007...it is 2017!!!! The lazy river was dirty. The carpet was nasty and we couldn't even walk barefoot. The sliding door to the balcony shook from the wind nonstop and kept us up at night. This is suppose to be a resort but not sure what qualifies it as such. If they maintained the interior as well as the exterior then they could justify this rediculous price but until then please stay elsewhere.

My husband and I got the king room with the jacuzzi in the main tower. The room was so small, probably 12x12 at best. The jacuzzi only had 1 jet working. The air conditioner makes a loud clunking sound when turning on/off. My 2 year old found a marijuana stem under the phone. Guests down the hall were rudely blaring music after 3am. We left a day early and will not be going back.

One of the worst places to stay. Rooms are so outdated and smell so awful. Carpet is nasty! Rips, tears, stains, mold, you name it. This place used to be pretty decent with good staff but that isn t the case any longer!!

Had a blast there room were nice size for my family and my kids had a blast dancing out side by the pools.

The hotel was very outdated. The bed was broke. The carpet thru out was nasty and very old. The elevators was not in the best shape. No room service you had to go get clean towels from across the street. Definitely not worth what we paid will never stay here again.

Rooms out dated coke machines not working just not a place i would stay again

The building smelled, furniture was out dated, and the beds were hard as bricks! Elevator out of service and not so much as a why or postings on the elevators! Sand would sit in the carpet for days in the hallways. No towels or bed making on Sunday. It was like once the fire alarm went off, the housekeeeping staff quit working! It was NOT easy walking up and down 7 flights of stairs! Pools, lazy river, and hot tubs were nice but closing at 10pm seems a bit premature! When we would ask about extra towels or chairs, the front desk would say, well..for THAT room, it's not allowed! Well, that room was NOT cheap! Never ever again! Only positive points were location and an ocean view...
