I chose a property at a resort we have stayed in for 25 years, so I am familiar with the unit numbers and addresses. I reserved a unit on the newer side of the property. Since Resort Collections owns 2 units on this property, the lady I paid switched us to the older unit on the same day that I paid our deposit. I even questioned her that day about the address/unit number she put on the contract. She assured me that it was the correct unit. She lied. When we arrived to check in, we went straight to their office, because the directions they were giving me was not where I had reserved. At this point, we were stuck and not able to find another place to stay. Since we had stayed at the resort for years, I knew there were rental price differences between the newer side and the older side. They tried to tell me that since they own both units, that they rent for the same amount. After arguing with them, they did finally refund us about $200. The shower/bath in the second bathroom did not work the entire time we were there. Our son had to use our shower everyday. The condo was not supplied with basic items for a vacation. We had to purchase skillets and a coffee pot. I will never, ever rent from these people again.
