I had a wasp nest in my air brick. Phoned Able who where very helpful. They took time to listen and assured me they could sort out my infestation. They came the next morning and Alex was excellent and treated the wasp problem. All wasps were gone in under 3 hours. Excellent service, professional and great value. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a pest control issue.

I would give 0 stars if that was possible , an absolute joke of a company ! I rang up on a Friday teatime, as I have a leak and a blocked drain, unfortunately they told me they had no one available at that present time who could come out but they would definitely be able to assist. They informed me that someone would be able to come to my property between the hours of 8-12 on Saturday morning and took the card details. I turned the water off. I woke up v. early on Saturday morning to take my young children to my sisters for a wash ( as I have no running water ) and breakfast and returned home to wait. At 10.45 I received a phonecall from the company stating they were no longer coming, no reason given, or alternative suggestion. It s an absolute disgrace to leave people in this position. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Craig, came back today, after first initial visit, To see what we needed doing. New extended cable wiring put in & I think another socket aswell. He put the new cooker in, helped me with cleaning and scrapping the old surround glue from original hob. Helped me sweep up too, as I can't atm. Changed my original review from 3 to 5 rating today. Very good service and excellent job done by Craig today. Would recommend this company. Craig gave me his card, saying any problems, don't hesitate to contact contact him. I called on Thursday to get someone to fix 2 broken bedroom windows. I was told someone would be with me by 12 on Friday to measure up. So, I booked in - provided my credit card details, got email confirmation etc - and waited in all morning on Friday. When no-one arrived by 12 I called and was told no-one would be available until at least Monday. Glazing needs are, by nature, always urgent - if they couldn t be here til Monday they should have said so when I first called. And if there was a subsequent problem, they should have called me. Instead, they wasted half my day, and their terrible customer service almost resulted in me being left with a broken window unattended for 4 more days.
Fortunately, I found another local company who came out the same day, and were cheaper too.
Able are an example of when the firm whose ad comes top in google are not necessarily the best.
Had a problem with mice in kitchen. They came same day very helpful and had a good look round. Came back 10 days later to check poison and traps and gave me advise. Satisfied completely.
Engineer came to fix two broken window locking mechanisms. He was courteous and competent and although it was more difficult than he expected and needed some extra parts he didn't have, he got the job done. It cost a bit more than I hoped but it needed doing
Will never use this company again and would not recommend to anyone. The gas engineer offered a distinctly average service. After his visit we later discovered that we had no hot water or heating. We called the office and were told that we couldn't prove the hot water and heating problems occured after the plumber's visit and for all they knew the heating and hot water weren't working before they came out!?! This was most certainly not the case! We had called them out to simply reconnect our newly sited gas meter to our boiler which was in perfect working order before they arrived!! So basically they are saying that I am dishonest and a liar!!!! We insisted that they they return to fix the problem which we begrudgingly agreed to pay for. That was over 24 hours ago and we've heard nothing since so have no hot water or heating. So much for advertising 24 hours emergency call out!!!! The phrase "don't touch with a barge pole" springs to mind. Totally disgusted.
I contact them online, they reply to me saying they could do the job (boiler and heating issues) on the same day. No one has shown up on the day.
I had to call them again they told me next availability would have been the morning after, then they post pined again the booking in the afternoon, again. Plus they ask you the card detail on the phone, something that you can avoid by bringing a card machine with you. Like everybody does. It felt like a scam.
Use another company and save yourself some time and stress.
Excellent plumping service. I rang at 9am and was told that it would be before 1pm when a plumber would arrive. 10 am the plumber rings me to say he would be 20 mins. He arrived on time, only to finish the job with in 45 mins.
Service put me in contact with a very good ,local , plumbing firm. who came out promptly and did the Job. service was polite and good over the phone just felt a little pricey . to pay for a contact website in England to get a local plumber in Pembrokeshire .
Noticed a wasp's nest under the eaves of the house in the morning, rang Able and a controller dealt with the issue the same day. Quite expensive though, otherwise it would have been a 4 star review.
Keep away from this company. Absolute disgrace. I rang and booked an engineer to deal with a pest issue. I was told someone was available and would attend between 1-3pm. I was told I would receive an email but this has not yet materialised. I gave my card details as they asked for these to arrange the call out. In the afternoon I received a call to say that engineer could not make it. I was told another would be visiting but would this would be between 3-6pm. At 5pm I received another call. This was from the engineer who said he was 1hour away. He asked if I wanted to cancel. I said i certainly did not and that we had waited all pm. My son had cancelled two appointments. He said he would be over by 6-630pm. At 715pm I rang Able and asked where the engineer was. I was informed that the engineer had rung in and said we had cancelled! I was told by a very nice lady who answered the phone that she would find another engineer for tomorrow. At 10pm I rang back. She apologised and said that none of the engineers had got back to her. A whole day wasted when we could have tried a more reliable company. Pity I didn t read the reviews first!!! Clearly this company are reliant on contractors and whether they choose to accept the work. When asked if I wanted to cancel this was a resounding YES!! EXCEPTIONALLY UNRELIABLE!! By the way I only gave 1 star because, unfortunately, you can t give a lower rating.
Impossible to speak to anyone. Passed over everytime! On hold for ages! Basic customer service. Do they know how to send a receipt to a email? Do they heck! Even when you ask 5 times! Still nothing! When you arrange a day to visit,they don't turn up and come up with a poor excuse, "can i come tomorrow"?! not just the once this has happened twice!! They tell you they charge after both visits but no instead they charge you a day after the first visit because the second visit is 2 weeks after!
Response was excellent from initial call and lad who came was pleasant. Not the cheapest and bathroom tiles were removed but not made good. That said it wasn't an easy job - leak from built in toilet.
I was more than happy I paid what I was quoted, if I needed a locksmith again I would use the able group. We need more companies like this. My only issue was how long I waited to get through on the phone however I see this being a positive just goes to show how busy they are.
Called these guys out of hours to have my tap fixed. Within 2 hours they had the plumber out. Aziz was brilliant got it fixed quickly, was incredibly polite and friendly!
As a result of lock failure (in a closed position) I contacted these locksmiths for assistance. The phone was answered promptly and various charges were made clear to me depending on the requirements of the work. The locksmith arrived within minutes of an agreed time and set about work. In the event I needed a new locking system in my uPVC door which had an outdated system. The locksmith had a modern equivalent but had to adapt the fixings somewhat to fit. The result is a far better feel to the locking of the door and no mess. Highly recommended.
Avoid - Visited my property twice, charged me twice and left with heating still not working. Citizens Advice have told me to take the case to the small claims court and I will be doing so unless I am refunded in 28 days.
I would recommend doing your own research and use a local company rather than using a third party. Cancelled on me twice with zero notice, will not be attempting a third time. Terrible customer service and organisation.
Engineer came out the same day, and fixed the problem straight away, absolutely brilliant. I would most certainly recommend ABLE because they are very able!
Phone up asking about fitting a gas cooker after getting a few quotes at other places this company price matched it so far it s great ! BUT they rang me after 24 hours to say the gas person has gone sick and they don t want to put me on the waiting list ! Cheers no cooker now have to find a new gas person ! Was charged double the cost of any other pest control to sort out removal of wasps. Contacted able group for clothes moth treatment. Upon their instruction, I spent hours bagging up clothes- only for them to cancel the morning that they were due to do the treatment. Then said they couldn t commit to another weekend treatment with little to no explanation as to why. Give this rabble the swerve.
Firstly, the reason I used this company is because they boast a 'no call out charge'.
I arranged for a plumber to come to sort an issue which I thought was a blocked drain. He came to review what I thought was a smell caused by a drainage issue but identified by a visual inspection that it was not a blocked drain. While the guy was here, I asked to check the sink to identify if the smell issue was coming from there, he cleared the trap but said it would not cause the smells. I also noted that the smell was coming from under the stairs where he went and inspected an area under some floor boards which revealed there was a lot of leaking/puddles of water but that was it.
I was promised I would be sent through some photos/a report which was never sent, I just called for a second time to chase and was told that I got my recommendation which was ''to get a CCTV drainage survey'' written on a piece of paper handed to me at the time before the plumber left. I explained to the lady on the phone that I had not really received anything in the way of a service except maybe the trap being cleared out (Which I have done myself in the past ). There are no drain pipes running under the house, it is just heating and water pipe work and there is no pressure loss in the heating so it is evidently a water pipe leak and nothing to do with drainage so the recommendation isn't even suitable??
I mentioned to the lady from customer service on the phone when I called to chase the report / photographs about the fee as I had not really received anything for the payment - which was swiftly taken the minute the plumber left might I add from my card I used to confirm booking!
Do not use unless maybe you know exactly what the issue is and can prescribe exactly to them what you need to be done and obtain a fixed fee in advance, otherwise you will be taken advantage of.
Terrible experience, corrected the issue by causing another issue ( a leak!) then when we called back to say what was now happening, they said they would charge us for the engineer to come back out! To be clear - your below response is laughable! He did not test the bathtub to know if there was a leak, I even asked him if it was all good and no leaks and he said NO leaks, guess i should of recorded that for proof! As soon as he leaves a leak appears when we tried to use and NO the plunger did not cause this as YOUR engineer also broke our plug by hoovering out the area (which the leak now comes from) I called right afterwards and your engineer was coming back until he said it couldn't possibly be from something he did and then you offered to have that same guy come out to assess if it was his damage doing to figure out if he would charge us again. Hmmmmm, I really wonder who would trust that dodgy process. You were Rude, negative and condescending when we called customer service when trying to deal with this. Not looking for any other responses back, we would not be using your services again, just wanted to add this to your other negative reviews so others are aware of what to expect. I suggest everyone avoid at all costs or it'll definitely cost you!

3005949 - appointment was made between 12-4 for honeybee removal. I took time off of work unpaid. Person didn t turn up, and didn t even bother curtesy calling me to say they weren t going to make it, which for the record, Is NOT out of your control. You had full control of the situation, and you chose to let it be an issue. I actively called you at 16:15 to clarify the location, and estimate which was not confirmed until 7pm when their working day was over.
These guys can t accommodate a new appointment, and I simply cannot afford to loose anymore pay because they lack the ability to possess timekeeping and curtesy.
I ve lost a significant amount of money because of these guys simply because their policy states someone needs to be present (WHEN THEY SHOW UP).
I will be filling for reimbursement through your regulator should my complaint not be successful for the losses I have incurred.
Poor service I contacted this company y as I have a bee infestation. The person I spoke to booked it in for the following morning. I had to give my full payment details over the phone She gave me a job number and assured me the job would be done as requested and they would be attending between 8am and midday. She even followed it up by email. I waited in all morning and rearranged my plans. At 10.55 am I got a phone call cancelling the job, as they were "very busy" Wasn't what she told me yesterday!!!! All she could offer was sometime next week. Thats at least a week to wait probably longer today is its Tuesday now, and next Monday is a bank holiday

Bee's nest removal. Very friendly and professional on the phone, gave me a time for arrival the next afternoon then rang in the morning to say technician was sick and couldn't come, rearranged for next day. Waited in all morning for 8am-12pm slot, called at 1126 to say technician wasn't in the area so not coming. Rearranged for next day 11-1 "guaranteed". I cancelled appointment as lost trust and wanted bees gone! Do not recommend at all.

AVOID THIS COMPANY- First they give you a time slot which they don't keep. Secondly they quote you a price which they obviously have no intent on charging- They will really charge you EXTRA of what was quoted on top of the VAT. They are excellent at taking your credit cards details and THEY WILL process your invoice whether you agreed to it or not. NEVER AGAIN.
Avoid them for rodent control. Used them and they outsourced to some unprofessional rodent control individual. The contractor came 2 weeks late to remove the poison. Able group support had the cheek to say the customer is merely paying for the poison when we complained initially to them. They didn't solve the problem as mice still there.
Called out to kill a wasp Nest. 2 days later the wasps are still there. Constantly told they would call back, weeks later after calling them daily, only to be fobbed off with "we'll call you back". Avoid at all costs, this company are a scam.

Good service, pleasant staff, quick response and reasonable price. Had a leaking pipe joint and separate toilet refill tube fault which needed to be done by plumber. Initially we were unable to find one but contacted Able Group who we had not known about beforehand. They responded very quickly and plumber arrived following day. Pipe repaired very quickly. There was a minor problem with toilet refill after plumber replaced original faulty part. Contacted Able Group who instructed plumber to return. He arrived within an hour and a half. No subsequent problems. They will be my first port of call in the future.
I had occasion to call this company and ask for help. Maxwell who answered my call, gave me all the help I needed to get things moving and having chosen the time scheduled for boarding up of windows, the engineer gave a first class job. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm in future. An Excellent firm doing excellent work.
Friendly, helpful, informative and efficient. Phoned in the morning - pleasant woman booked me in for that afternoon. A guy came in the afternoon to attend to bees in the roof with a minimum of fuss.
No problems at all with this company. Within half an hour of phoning them about a blocked drain there was a workman at the door. He unblocked the drain very quickly and I was able to use the sinks again. Friendly, helpful and competent service.
Booked an appointment to be called 45 minster after they were due to turn up to tell us they weren't. Shocking customer service and surely if you have an appointment booked they should turn up. The excuse given was they were fully booked. Why take the appointment the day before if you can not attend. Wanted us to wait till Monday which just isn't good enough. If we make an appointment that's what we expect to happen. If the plumber turned up and we weren't in then they would charge us but apparently they can do what they like. Disgusting and will never use again.
Called for an emergency electrician, they took all my details including credit card details and promised someone would be round in 30-90 mins. After an hour I got a text message saying they'd tried to call me (they hadn't) saying no-one was available from a 'no reply' number. Very, very poor service indeed. Do not use!
We had a bee's nest at our property, someone was able to come round the same day. The lady on the phone was pleasant and helpful. The gentleman that came round to deal with the situation was friendly and explained the process. The bee's are gone now! very pleased with the service.
Emergency call out after getting locked out with a failed front door lock.
The communication was really good although they were busy with pre-Christmas rush. After logging call around 1pm the local engineer, Wayne, arrived at 5.30 as promised.
It was a tough job with a really stubborn and tough piece of metal;work, but he persisted until the job was done around 7pm and cleared up all the mess.
The company was easy to talk to on the phone, they gave me an accurate quote and was ready to help me the next morning, I had a window fixed, The guy who fixed my window was lovely, fast and efficient, he even saw a slight problem with my door and adjusted it right there no problem! Definately worth calling again if I need their services.
