My last service here, I requested the standard service for my Subaru's mileage and to inspect the brakes and advise if they needed replacing because they were squeaking quite a bit. They performed the oil change, did not do the brakes and told me everything was good-to-go. A few thousand miles later, my engine seized without warning because there was too little oil in it, forcing a $5,100 repair to replace the engine. Then the brakes started grinding metal-to-metal because they should have been replaced during the last service, at Subaru of Wakefield. Finally, when I got my brakes done (somewhere reliable/reputable), I found out whoever last touched the rear left wheel lug left it stripped and nearly impossible to remove. I wish I could trust any Subaru dealer to properly care for my Subaru car, but the reality is this particular dealership has permanently lost my trust.

After tons of research, I texted Subaru of Wakefield to set up an appointment to test drive the 2020 Outback. The dealership is easily accessible by local roads and I-95. and surrounded by a variety of roads for test drives. My personal sales/lease consultant was Fozi. I immediately knew that Fozi valued my time, understood my needs, and would get the job done. After agreeing on the color, trim, and features, we very happily arrived at a deal. If you are looking for a variety of Subarus, no nonsense, and an awesome experience, Subaru of Wakefield is a must. It was a true pleasure to work with Fozi and Subaru of Wakefield. So excited that I got to pick up my new Outback from here!

This was my first time purchasing a car! My salesman was new so a little nervous but very kind and professional. I decided to add a remote start to my vehicle so I had to wait and extra day to pick up my new car I was so excited about. The next day I call to verify my car was ready with remote starter before I drove all the way over there to pick it up. They said it was ready to go! But when I show up my salesman informs me that they didn t install my remote starter??? Isn t that why you guys kept it an extra day??? So I had to make an appointment for TWO WEEKS later to get the remote starter installed, which should have already been done. For my extreme inconvenience my salesman said that he would be able to get me some window tint for my new car! When I show up two weeks later to drop my car off to get the remote starter installed and tint done, they inform me that the salesman that made me that offer is no longer working there and wasn t suppose to make that offer so the only thing they can do is offer me $25 off the $250 window tint? I just paid you guys $23,000 for a vehicle and you can t provide me with the $250 of window tint I was promised? Very unfair and classic case of doing everything they can to get you to purchase a vehicle but as soon as you purchase it they can no longer help you with anything. Disappointed for my first time car buying experience.
*Update WAIT! It gets better. While my car was getting the remote starter installed, there was a miscommunication about the window tint. They tinted my windows! I thought this was them owning up to their mistake. Nope. They told me that it was a miscommunication and if I wasn t paying for it they were taking it off. So yep. They ripped it all off after it was already done. Is this a joke?
*Updated 3 weeks later. Haven t been contacted about a solution to this problem, and my battery has been acting up and my set radio stations reset every time I use my remote starter...

We went in for a test drive for a 2015 Legacy. Our sales rep was Frank Belluschi & very knowledgable. Leased the car the same day! We picked it up the following week & have been very happy with our decision. Highly recommend them.

I'm sure there are plenty of fine working people here, I unfortunately met with few to none of them. I came back a few times looking at the Crosstrek, and test drove the car a few times, and genuinely had a pleasant experience. But, eventually when I decided to talk numbers, the experience took a turn for the worse.

I had come in with an offer from another dealership, and straight up told them that if they could beat the offer given to me by the other dealer, I would sign then and there. My mother and I sat by ourselves for 30-45 minutes while we watched our sales rep socializing with the other reps (while holding our offer from this dealership in her hands). She eventually came back and told us there was no way the number we were giving her as the offer from the other dealership was accurate, and that we had to be lying. She then gave us an offer that was 1000 dollars higher than the other dealership. Luckily I was able to get the other dealership to verify the offer, to which she seemed completely surprised and totally unapologetic for calling my mother and I liars.

Begrudgingly, she gave a counter offer, to which I brought up an offer that they sent to my email address, "an ADDITIONAL 500 dollar savings." The manager came back, shoved my keys at me and told me they wouldn't honor it because "they took enough off the car." "Additional" means "in addition to," and I took that to mean "in addition to the savings we already gave you." When I asked why they would send me an offer if they would not honor it, He essentially told me to leave. I have never been spoken to in that way in a business setting before in my life. I felt extremely uncomfortable, and although they beat the price, I did NOT want to buy a car here. I felt taken over the coal.

I can't even tell you how uncomfortable this dealership made me, how painful talking numbers was. Not honoring their own deal showed the true integrity of the dealership.

The next day, I signed papers at Subaru of North Reading. Had an absolutely fantastic experience there, and they matched the offer presented by this dealership. Honestly, I would've paid more to go to another dealership than buy the car from here.

Like I said, I'm sure there are plenty of fine people working here, but the ones I came in contact with left a very sour taste in my mouth.
I would not recommend this dealership unless they have a massive overhaul of their customer service channels. They lost a 20,000 dollar sale over their own offer that they would not honor. I wanted so badly to be a promoter of this dealership, but when given the opportunity to "earn my business" (as they said multiple times), their manager ruined it for them over 500 dollars.

Unbelievably overpriced. I just got my new crosstrek and simply wanted a tire rotation and oil change. Mind you I have mechanical experience so it is nothing I cannot do myself. They quote a price of 130.00!!!!!! Unbelievable!!! For those of you who aren't as car savvy a tire rotation is free for any car at town fair tire and an oil change anywhere else full synthetic is 60.00... so more than double the price??? What's up with that subaru??? The oil and filter only costs between $30- 40 depending on where you go and the entire oil change only takes 15 minutes. The majority of the time the car just sits draining so guess what?????? They can work on other cars as yours drains!!!! Why does it cost so much??? Robbery I say!!!! Educate yourselves people!!!! Not impressed subaru!!! Love the cars but disappointed your prices are so unfair... Needless to say as nice as it would be I will never take my vehicle to get serviced from you people. I can keep my own records to show the maintenence instead of padding your pockets... don't you make enough on the cars in the first place??? Some people have to work for a living... maybe you should respect that! I will be posting this on as many websites as I can find... good luck everyone... my suggestion is find a reliable mechanic think of him like your primary care physician for your car or learn how to do it yourself. YouTube is amazing and it's way easier than you may think... GET YOUR TIRES ROTATED AT TOWN FAIR TIRE!!! subaru =30.00 +.... town fair = FREE!

I went to Subaru of Wakefield yesterday to purchase new wiper blade inserts. A gentleman by the name of Nema (not sure how to spell it) helped me, I believe he is the service manager there. He was absolutely EXCELLENT! What a guy, seriously. I told him I needed help putting in my bulbs for my headlights and he did it with no question. I also told him about my driver and passenger seats, the sides were hanging off and needed to be latched back on. He also fixed that! He even offered myself and my mother muffins as we were waiting! That was my first experience with Subaru of Wakefield and I will definitely go back for any further problems with my vehicle. I was in and out all within less of an hour, they have a fantastic team and all super helpful and friendly! I would recommend them to everyone!

Generally speaking I was pleased with the service at this dealer, but HIGHLY RECOMMEND you exercise extreme caution when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. I just purchased a 2017 pre-owned Subaru Imprezza and just after picking up the vehicle my husband and I both noticed a strong smell of nicotine/cigarette smoke that was definitely not present when we test-drove the car a couple of days earlier.

I can't explain how that could be, but it's extremely disappointing when we paid close to the cost of a new car. In fact, we would certainly have purchased a new vehicle instead had the issue been present during our test drive.

I have dealt with Al for a Forester years ago and I just purchased an Ascent from him a week ago. I have always appreciated his honesty and down-to-earth personality. He helped me through the entire process. He followed up with me and reminded me on every details that I need to pay attention to. I couldn't be more happier with him.

Ken was initially in contact with me before he handed the case to Al. Ken is also very helpful in giving me the initial information and the pricing. I appreciated his help as well.

Great experience with Al Mazin

This is my 8th Subaru purchased with Wakefield Subaru and Al Mazin . After shopping around I found their price to be the lowest without haggling. Al has always treated us well with no nonsense. This is why my wife and I have returned there so many times and purchased our new vehicles from them.

They advertise prices 5k below MSRP, but they don't tell you that you need to trade in a 2005 or newer used vehicle. They do this to get you into the dealership. Garbage practice, and I won't be coming here to buy my car.

came into the dealership intending to just test drive the XV Crosstrek. I was directed to Larry and right away he was friendly and helpful. He took the time to show me around the vehicle, before we went for a test drive. He is knowledgeable about the brand and believes in the product that he is selling. I liked the car so much that I came back the next day with someone else, to get a second opinion. Larry remembered my name and was happy to provide me with more details. Larry was quick to give me his contact information, including his cell phone, and insisted that if I had any questions to give him a call or send him a text. I made an appointment to come back later in the week after I had checked the details with my insurance company.
Larry was able to work with his manager get me a good deal on my trade. There was a comedy of errors through this process that were no fault of the dealership or Larry and though the whole thing, he was friendly and very helpful. It was clear that he wanted to make sure that I was happy with my new car and was willing to do anything to make that happen. It was his no pressure attitude and sense of humor that made me want to get the car from him. I always recommend Subaru to anyone in New England looking for a new car and now I will also recommend Larry Marcus and Subaru of Wakefield!

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Subaru of Wakefield. I was previously at another Subaru dealership (will spare naming them) with spotty service and a friend recommend I give Wakefield a chance after their own experience. I most recently visited for an oil change which was completed faster than initially estimated and service was done with a smile (which seems to be a big ask these days). I found everyone to be professional and courteous and will most certainly be purchasing my next Subaru from this dealership!

I am grateful for Christian's help in finding a car that suited my needs. Christian was not only friendly and patient, but she went above and beyond to make my life easier, because as you know buying a new car is never easy. This was one of the few times I could say I had a good experience with a car dealerships and I have been to several other dealerships before Subaru. Aside from the excellent customer service I've experienced, I was pretty impressed by the redesign and build quality of Subaru crosstrek. It has changed dramatically over the past few years and I am glad I got my crosstrek before the winter.

Ok, 2 times in a row I am getting less than favorable service and I am starting to see a trend. First, I was loosing air in my tire and scheduled a service to look into it. When I reached, they said they won't do it on Saturday. Then why schedule service? Last time, I went for a wheel service and to fix one bothering noise coming from engine. After 2 hours of waiting, they gave me a laundry list of services totalling $1000 (totally different from my original service needs), but said that the sound that I am hearing is 'normal' (aka, not fixable). I had my car driven by the mechanic just 10 mins back and he had said it was an easy fix. Didn't bother to argue, took the car out and had it repaired outside for less than half the price. Don't think I will be going back.

Excellent service from the service department. You literally will not find people who will treat you better than the people here. I forgot a kid's car seat in a loaner car they gave me and they were so nice about getting it back to me, I was just left with an extremely positive feeling overall. They obviously do great work on your Subaru, but they're also truly nice people.

This is going to be a long review, so let me start...

This is going to be a long review, so let me start by saying that the salesperson that I worked with, Nick, is the only reason that I bought a car from this dealership. His fantastic customer service and enthusiasm definitely saved this place in my opionion, and the dealership should feel lucky to have had him in this scenario.
That being said, I can t say my experience here was wonderful across the board. I got my (almost) new car here a few weeks ago. I settled on a lightly pre owned 2018 model. When I arrived, mid week and mid day, I walked onto the sales floor and everyone in the front of the room was either looking down on their phone or otherwise distracted. Not one person was with a client. Not too big of a deal and after a few minutes I finally got someone s attention. When I asked the man I was speaking with about a particular model, he simply pointed to the lot, told me what row and went back to what he was previously doing. I then proceeded to wander around the lot for about a half hour, not 100% sure what I was looking for in each of the cars. Thanks for the help. I gave up and decided to leave and I was walking out of the lot, someone stopped me and asked me if I had been helped. When I said no we joked that apparently no one wanted to sell a car that day. He directed me to a woman inside who was sure to help me. Instead, she had me sit and went to get the same man I had originally talked to when I arrived. I sat patiently for a few minutes until I heard her talking to him in a back room, and then heard him arguing with her that he didn t have time to work with me because he was leaving shortly and that he guessed he would do what he could do and so on. By the time he walked back on the sales floor I was certain I would not be buying a car from this place. I told him immediately as he approached me that I would under no circumstances be working with him. That s when he took me over to Nicks desk, who should honestly get an award for being able to change my mind after all of that.

Fast forward.
The next day I pull off the lot and I m so excited and happy with my new car until I notice within a few minutes that there was a crack in the windshield (that I did not cause, it was there from being at the dealership). Not an ideal moment with a new car. I returned to the dealership and they were extremely embarrassed and promised to set me up with a third party that they worked with who would come to my place of employment and fix it that week so it would be convenient for me. Fast forward 2 weeks. After being in contact multiple times, the third party set up a day with me and then never showed. A week later I heard back again, this time the story is that it s not financially convenient for them to come out to me to fix the windshield so I have to meet him back at the dealership on my only day off to fix it, which in my opinion should have been done day one. I called the dealership and spoke with multiple people about this and they promised they would get me in contact with the right person and it would get figured out. I did not hear back as promised. The situation is currently ongoing.

If I were you, I would think twice about bringing your business here. It seems like their focus, and that of the third party companies they choose to work with, are FAR away from proper customer service.

After doing my homework and visiting other Subaru dealers my wife and I wen't to Wakefield Subaru with the intentions of visiting other dealerships in the area as well. The no nonsense approach to the price offer and trade in left us with the pleasant feeling that these people want (and got) our business. They are family owned and the staff was genuine. The vehicle sold itself. I would recommend making Wakefield Subaru your first and last visit. The way buying a car should be. Thank you.

From the moment I found a car I was interested in on the web site, through meeting Al Mazin the sales man (Who made me feel like my car search was very important) to taking and extensive test drive, to receiving a follow up call to make sure I was happy this was the easiest, most stress free car buying experience I've had in my 32 years of driving.

FAR EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

FAR EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

For background, I am 22 years old and moving down to NC this July. I had looked up Subaru of Wakefield online and saw they had excellent reviews, so I scheduled a test drive on a used car. The first employee I spoke to was Freddy Nieves, one of the sales consultants. Freddy answered all my questions honestly, and he was very easy to connect with.

The car I was interested in was in great shape and listed at a price under the KBB value for it. I ended up purchasing the car at a very fair price one that was far less than I thought I would pay for that type of car. Throughout the process, I never felt pressured to buy, and the people I spoke with were very responsive to my wants and needs.

Kenny Bettano, a sales manager, made me feel comfortable right from the moment he assisted in the process. I had uneasy thoughts of what it might be like going into a dealership as a young person, but my experience was far better than I could have imagined. A great deal of this was due to Kenny, who understood my position as a first time buyer.

I ended up purchasing the car along with an extended warranty. I was originally not planning on buying a warranty, but it was an incredible value for a used sports car. I financed about half of the purchase through the dealership at a great APR. The two finance managers I spoke with, Ken and Matt, answered my laundry list of questions, and gave me plenty of space before I decided to go with the warranty and financing.

When the car was ready for pickup, Kenny made sure everything was perfect. He thought that the two back tires were too worn out, so he replaced them (after the deal was already made!) I can t imagine another dealership that would do this.

Overall, I was incredibly impressed by the professionalism and service that Subaru of Wakefield gave me. I m happy to say that they've earned a customer for life!

Beware!!!!! They try to cheat people all the time promising something and when you try sign the contract they hide values all time till the end.
The managers are horrible. They always say you one price over the phone and when you go there they tell you totally different offer.
One of my worst experience. It is a shame for Subaru having this type of dealer ! I have been lucky to not close the deal with them !

HUMAN HAIR WRAPPED AROUND MY AXLE WAS NO CONCERN TO THEM

I purchased my Subaru Legacy a little over 2 years ago. I have had no issues with it until this point. However, the issue that caused this experience will deter me from ever going back to Subaru of Wakefield.

About a month ago I felt a hollowness in the right front end and the ride was not very smooth. I dropped it off at a local mechanic to get looked at and within a half hour I was called back to the shop with little explanation. Upon my arrival they asked me some strange questions. "Have I been in an accident recently" "Does the car belong to me" "Has anyone else been driving it". I answered no to all of these questions and once they showed me what was wrapped around my passenger side front axle I understood the questioning. There was long human hair wrapped around my axle. The mechanic refused to perform any work on the car so I left extremely embarrassed.

I proceeded to send an email to my sales agent explaining the situation and she made me aware that there was a quick recall procedure that needed to be done also. She told me she was "very sorry this happened and they would take care of the recall and the other issue for me". I dropped my car off and got a call a few hours later. They wanted to charge me $500 to fix the strut and $99 for an alignment. I was told all they would do was remove the "debris" (aka the half a head of hair) from my axle.

I refused to pay for any services to fix the strut due to the embarrassment I was caused paired with the promise from my sales agent that it would be taken care of. I then got a voicemail from my agent saying that since I "paid the bill" there's nothing she can do and her "hands are tied". She said if I didn't pay the bill she could have worked with her service manager. I called her back and explained that I refused the service and didn't pay anything. I instructed her to speak with her service manager and see what they can do. I have followed up twice with no resolution.

I understand unknown things happen with cars because there's a lot going on under the hood but in my opinion there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON a car with hair wrapped around the axle should ever make it off the lot. All it would take is a quick under the car inspection.

I will be following up with the Motor Vehicle and the authorities to see if whatever incident happened before I purchased the car was reported.

So many great things to say about Subaru of Wakefi...

So many great things to say about Subaru of Wakefield!! I purchased my car towards the end of 2018. Al Mazin was so helpful and accommodating for me as a first time car buyer! Got everything I wanted in my car!! Fast forward a couple years - there was a recall for a part in my car. Subaru of Wakefield was persistent on getting me to schedule an at-home pick up for my vehicle to get the recall fixed during the COVID-19 Pandemic. They communicated and answered all my questions, came to my house to get my car, left a loaner, fixed the issue and brought back my car within 4 hours! They even changed my windshield wipers for me because they were not in great shape! All at no cost to me! I was even stuck on a work call so the employee dropping off my car had to wait for 10-15 minutes for me. Everyone has been so kind and helpful!! I will absolutely be going back to Subaru of Wakefield for all my servicing and future car purchases when that time comes!

Where do I even begin... Subaru of Wakefield is by far the greatest place to not only purchase your vehicle but the best place to service it and take care of all it's needs. Everyone there goes above and beyond. Joe B and Kenny were great when I first purchased my vehicle. Perry who sold me my car was amazing too. What made me write this review was when I having such a bad day and needed my car in there A.S.A.P. I called with urgency and the lovely girl who took my appointment got me right in and then the lovely Tech who fixed my car named Oscar was amazing. Fast and Efficient. Fred and Mike Rossi and the whole service team just made my day turn completely around. They went out of their way to make sure I had 100% satisfaction leaving there. I would give the Service 10 Stars if I could! Thanks Again Subaru of Wakefield!!!

Terrific experience! I had some to Subaru of Wakefield (SOW) after trying my luck at Quirk Subaru in Braintree. What a difference. My experience at Quirk was by far the worst car buying experience I've ever had due to sleazy, aggressive and rude sales tactics. SOW was quite the opposite. I was greeted immediately by David who was pleasant and upfront with me from the start. Before we even talked prices he explained the advertising prices and what to expect. This was very encouraging and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. There is literally nothing bad to say about my experience with David and the dealership as a whole.

Excellent experience; Subaru of Wakefield

Everyone was honest, upfront, personable and very accommodating while I was looking for a new Subaru. They answered all my questions and made the car buying process seamless and painless. They worked hard to get me a great deal on my trade-in (a 2006 audi a4 2.0T w/ 114k+ miles)

In particular, Tim Digaetano really took care of me and made sure I got the best deal possible. He gave me his complete attention and I never felt like I was simply another number being sold a car. The experience was excellent and I would recommend Subaru of Wakefield to anyone looking for a Subaru.

I chose to check out Wakefield Subaru instead of I...

I chose to check out Wakefield Subaru instead of Ira, which is much closer to my house, after having a couple really bad experiences with Ira Toyota in the past. I couldn't have been happier. Wakefield Subaru is definitely more of a family feel as opposed to a corporate feel. Justin was my salesman, and I totally appreciated him talking to me and my wife like we were friends and not putting on the cheesy, fake friendliness that many car salespeople lay on. He was very knowledgeable about the product and we chatted about other brands that I was considering, which he also knew a lot about. My test drive didn't feel hurried and when we got back he gave me and my wife some space so we could discuss the purchase.

When it came time to talk numbers, he showed me dealer invoice (which I knew before I got there because I had done some research) and it was the same number that I had found. The finance guy Chris got me an even better rate than I had expected and by the time I left I was the proud owner of a 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon. I am totally looking forward to picking it up and building a relationship with this dealer.

Service department had been great up until recentl...

Service department had been great up until recently when I was barred by the service manager from ever returning. We argued because I didn't feel I was being heard or listened to regarding an issue I had with my car. I wasn't given a satisfactory resolution and the root cause they listed hadn't been tested to prove it would solve the problem. Generally speaking it's fine there any other time I've been for service.

Some potential points of improvement:

1. The error wasn't occurring when it was hooked up. I explained that it only occurs after 5-25 minutes of driving. This was disregarded completely.

2. They blamed a phone mount for interfering with the eyesight however, the phone mount has been in the same exact position for months before the issue occurred. Again, I explained the timing of when the issue occurred and that it coincided with the failing of a brake light switch and after I had to replace it on a weekend so my car would function.

3. I asked if they had tested to see if the issue occurs without the phone mount in place, they said no.

So what had been done was my car was hooked up for diagnostics, I was to be charged 100$ for this because it found nothing (which given the eyesight was not in an error state, that isn't surprising).

I took issue with this and explained my issue to Fred, then to Nima. Nima told me to leave and find a new dealership after he got frustrated with me. He said I was "0 for 2" but I had not had a previous issue there so I'm puzzled about that comment. My wife and I had the car there back in April and spent hundreds of dollars and had been looking to purchase a new Ascent in the near future.

Hubby and I went to this dealership Memorial Day Wknd because we love the Subaru ascent and want cooling seats and their price for this feature beats the other suv we are considering (VW Atlas). We are so thankful we test drove the limited because we now know we love it (a little more than the VW) and probably want to go to with the highest model/trim. But after our poor experience with the sales woman at this Subaru we will be driving 10miles away to an alternate Subaru dealer to get competitive pricing and buy. All I can hope is that the manager of this Subaru sees this and helps her work on her customer service skills - as soon as we had test drove with a jr. sales associate (who we weren t aware was jr. & couldn t close the deal with us) she came out, never introduced herself or her role as closer but instead started talking right to the jr. Sales associate and telling him it was busy and there were people waiting. We said we wanted to try out the cooling seats in the highest trim/version of the ascent and she said it s the same version as the Limited we just test drove and she can t let us test drive it. We explained we didn t want to test drive again just for the upgraded model but wanted to test the cooling seats and also wanted a trim/package comparison of the Ascent that we could visually see what the highest price one came with. She said it doesn t exist and when we tried to explain again she said you can look online for that . We felt extremely disrespected, rushed and talked down to. Little does she know we re about to have our first child, our parents have given us the money to cover the cost of buying our first family SUV and we need to buy within the next month before our family officially grows. Hopefully no one else has this experience & she learns customer service and patience.

I leased 2 x Subaru Outbacks through this dealership. The didn't haggle with me or make me go through the back and forth pricing process. They made me feel comfortable that I was getting the best deal I could. I was also treated very well by their service team. They always looked out for me. I always left feeling like the customer.

SUMMARY: The inventory seems good. The professionalism is deeply lacking.

I was looking to purchase a used vehicle from Subaru of Wakefield. My first day interaction with them was amazing. I drove to their dealership with a specific used vehicle in mind. When the salesperson and I walked to the car, we come to find out it was mislabeled as an automatic. It wasnt, but the salesperson was great and quickly showed me other options within my criteria. I was sold on a volkwagen that was just traded in and needed minor detailing plus the regular brakes, tires etc. The dealership takes care of all their used cars before they are sold so I had to wait till that was done. I put down a deposit on the vehicle and gave them a week to get the car ready. The times were mutually agreed upon. 2 days prior to my visit I was informed the car was ready for me to come by and get it independently inspected. I live in Boston so had to rent a car both times to make the trip to Wakefield. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told the car is not in the lot, as promised, but 3 blocks away at the auto body shop. I was told to wait for a few minutes; the car was on its way. I WAITED 1.5 HOURS. Then I was told the car won't be ready today could I come back. What a joke. I wasted 2 saturdays and $100 in car rental expenses only to be blatantly insulted. I instantly requested my desposit and went elsewhere.

SUMMARY: The inventory seems good. The professionalism is deeply lacking.

Great service. Brought my Forester here due to an issue where the radio was frozen and would not turn off. They even took the car in one day early when the radio issue killed the battery. Turns out the whole battery had to be replaced. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier with the service.

Waste of time. We called ahead, told them exactly what time we would arrive and what we were interested in seeing. We had a list of cars we were interested in, drove all the way out there but they didn't have a salesperson available and couldn't seem to figure out who had talked to us on the phone. After making us wait 20 minutes the guy they got REALLY didn't want to be helping us and made it very clear. He had his process and his paperwork he had to fill out - tried to take us through the process of elimination I'd already done for myself. If he'd have just shown me a couple of the cars I was curious about and had stock numbers for; I had pre-arranged financing, they would have had the sale. We finally just walked out. Too bad. I bought a car here in the past...now they are a high volume "we have our process and if you want a car you'll suffer through it" kind of place.

I don't like this place. Inefficient. Unfriendly service. Unpleasant experience. Sales consultant taught you how to drive. Manager yell at you when behind you.

just drove my new forester off the lot today. I have had a great experience so far at subaru wakefield. I worked with Fozi who was such a delight! He was easy to work with, and such a sweet guy! In all dealerships you are just another number, but they do treat you like a person and ensure you are comfortable with your purchase. I went to 4 different subarus trying to get the right car and price, and out of all 4 dealerships this one was the only one i felt comfortable at. He was sure to let me take the lead and I was able to tell him what i wanted and got a good deal that i was happy with from start to finish. The manager was very personable, and was a nice guy that was no bullsh*t and to the point. Only dealership I went to where the manager actually spoke to you and had a conversation with you. Its a family owned dealership, and it sure feels like it!

I met Justin Grant, my salesman, while test driving various cars to figure out what my wife might like. After determining she would probably be happiest with a Crosstrek, I brought her in for a final decision. We both really liked Justin he was positive and didn't play pressure games. The negotiation and paperwork processes were straightforward and effective for all involved.

My only real gripe is how Subaru as company presents vehicle prices. The number you get from Subaru's Build Your Own website do not correlate well with the retail price. The discrepancy, which I probably should have noticed, is because the featured number is invoice not retail. Subaru of Wakefield's website does have the retail price , but invoice is below it and in larger print.

Absolute Joke. Waste of time. The prices listed on the website as lowest possible price are only applicable for people who are trading in a car for a value of $2,000, have/are in military and are Subaru Loyal. Thanks for wasting my time! Don't bother, they wanna run a bait and switch operation to fool people like myself into coming and test driving a car that is priced not as advertised. SMH

Extraordinary experience shopping for my first Subaru. After looking at 4 different types of midsized wagons this was by far the best automobile shopping experience I had. The sales person was friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful and went out of his way to help me find the exact vehicle that suited my needs. I would travel out of state to buy another vehicle from this dealership again.

I can't praise the sales and finance team at this dealership enough. I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay before I set foot in any dealerships. At Subaru of Belmont I got sweet-talked and manipulated by a salesman who thought he could take me for a ride. I promptly left and never returned. By contrast, Ken Bettano, the Sales Manager at Subaru of Wakefield took me seriously from the moment he shook my hand. I told him what I wanted and didn't want and that I had compared prices through various online car marketplaces for the region. He asked some pointed questions, checked his inventory, and then made me a deal I couldn't refuse on a 2017 Crosstrek. No nonsense. No condescension. I took the vehicle for a test drive with my salesman, Nelson Molina, who was patient, polite and charming. Nelson handled the rest of the sale with great efficiency and good humor--and we definitely tried his patience by having him stay beyond the store's closing for which I am very sorry but most grateful! I went in at the end of the day on Sunday and had my new car by the next afternoon. If buying a car was this easy and painless I might not wait nearly 18 years before I do it again! I wholeheartedly recommend this dealership!

Their service center is good but their back office is dishonest and not professional. When you lease your car, super carefully read T&Cs on their contract document before you sign off. For example, you initially contracted 36 months verbally but that could be changed to 39 or longer months when you are about to sign off. I fought against their misbehavior and corrected my contract. (They explained it was misprinted)
BTW, my salesman was super nice and tried to help me though...

FOZI HADER! That is the man you want to see when you visit this dealership. He is not your typical, skeevy, desperate salesman. He was very amicable, humane, and respectful during our entire buying process for our 2020 CrossTrek. I would trust this man to babysit my firstborn! That is how much I trust him and you should too. He made us comfortable during the entire process and was knowledgeable in helping us weigh out our options. The front desk person is very nice and friendly as well.

SCAMMERS!!! They try tricking you into thinking you are getting a good quote on a new vehicle and then hit you with lowest possible price reflects on you trading in a 2005 or newer vehicle that we will give you a minimum of $2,000 trade in allowance Why would they just assume that someone is planning on having a trade in and reflect that in their price and leave that in the extreme fine print? They didn't even bother to mention the trade-in in the quote I got from them until someone reached out to me from the dealership asking what I car I would be trading in lol
