Avoid, avoid, AVOID this dealership! I bought a used Honda CRV from this 'stealership' 2 months ago and was lied to from day 1, from the salesman to the management. The next day I started the car and it made a quick, horrible engine noise like a heat shield was loose (Nope!) Now I never got to start the car at the dealership because both times ,test drive and delivery the salesman brought the car up to me, you know so "I wouldn't get wet walking across the lot"..so 3 days after buying this vehicle I took it in for an inspection sticker out of state. The car failed as the front motor mount and both control arms were shot (a safety issue the mechanic said should never have let the lot) proving this car was takin in and trade and washed but never went over by a mechanic. Luckily I had a 2 month warranty. I made an appointment and was told it was a 2 hour job. I took a day off and drove down to get their rental for the day. they had my car for 3 days! I mentioned the engine noise upon a cold start and was told no one heard it, how convenient because my neighbors hear it everyday! Well last week I took it to a local mechanic about the engine noise as I am over the warranty by 200 miles. The issue is low, almost NO oil in the engine (but a Subaru oil change sticker on the windshield) meaning oil is burning quick or never added and now I was told the engine noise is the timing belt that needs to be replaced ($700+). I feel Subaru of Wakefield knew this from the start and kept yessing me or avoiding me so I would go away or whatever. Thanks to the magic of social media I can get this out to all potential customers of this deceitful, joke excuse of a car dealership. People wonder why no one likes dealing with car salesman and all that come with bigger dealerships..prove positive of liars and thievs,,nice until they get your money. AVOID SUBARU OF WAKEFIELD!!!

I dealt with Billy C. He was great. He understood my needs. Understood I wasn t there to waste any time. We got a very fair deal completed on a barely used Cadillac ESV and even the aftermath was completed properly. I was in and out with vehicles registration in under 2 hours and Billy followed up after the fact. Even mailing back some forgotten items in the old vehicle. Billy was great and Joe B from management was very attentive as well. Very impressed with this places service. Thanks again would recommend.

I went to see a car at this dealership about 2 weeks ago. It was listed for $23k online but once I got there they said this price included rebates that (surprise) I did not qualify for, so the price was actually $27k. They were running a promotion of $2k for any trade in, so that brought the price down to $25k with my trade in. Since this was still much higher than the advertised price, I chose not to move forward. I checked back in recently since I saw the car was still available, and was told over the phone that they would sell me the car for $24k if I came in that night. So, I did (driving 30 miles each way) yet once I got there, I was told, "Unfortunately, that quote was not manager-approved therefore we cannot honor it." Complete waste of my time and extremely unprofessional.

I worked with Justin Grant to obtain my new Subaru Impreza- and I cannot say enough good things about him and the entire staff at Subaru of Wakefield. I had first gone to Cityside Subaru in Belmont, and had the worst car experience to date. I walked into the Cityside dealership, was not greeted or even acknowledged until I approached one of the managers. I met with some joke of a sales person, who looked to be about 18 years old. He had no idea what he was doing, was unfriendly and seemed as if I was wasting his time. I was ready to buy that day, and asked to speak to his manager. His manager didn t have time to speak with me. That s when I walked out, and went to the next dealership- Subaru of Wakefield. As soon as I walked in the door I knew this was going to be the place I purchased my new car. I was greeted warmly and friendly buy a few of the sales guys, and not in a typical cheesy sales approach. I worked with Justin and he took the time to get to know me, get to know what I was looking for in a car, talk about some of the options that would best fit my needs and was generally a nice guy who was sincere and genuine. He was extremely patient with me during the entire process. When my car arrived and I went to pick it up, he sat with me and helped program the entire car (including the voice activation for phone calls, etc). He showed me every bell and whistle, and covered every feature in the entire car to make sure I understand what everything was for and what all the features did. He even gave me some of his CD s to listen in my new car!! I would recommend the Wakefield dealership to everyone. They are truly a family run business and I enjoyed working with Justin and the rest of the finance and sales team. Thank you for making this car buying experience so great!!!

Had a pleasant experience today. There was a constant influx of customers, but I didn't wait and didn't see anyone who did. John was very helpful and the overall process didn't take too long. They have me a decent value for my trade in, though I think I should have negotiated harder.

I received a generic type email from Subaru regarding new models and trade ins. I was happy with my 2015 Legacy, but went in to take a look ! Made an appointment with Al Mazin who sold me my last car. My husband was helpful with getting a good price for trade in and deciding the best car to buy ! I bought a 2019 ,which I am very pleased with especially the safety features ! Thank you Al Mazin :)

The actual car buying experience went fine. It was afterwards the problems began. We negotiated a lease. At the time we bought the car, it was after hours for our bank, so Wakefield Subaru was unable to get in touch with them to find out the total loan payoff for our trade in. They took the payoff amount we found on the website at the time.

When we signed all of the paperwork, their finance person said, "we'll add 2 dollars to the monthly lease in case the loan payoff is greater, just to cover our backs. Once we confirm the loan payoff is the amount on the website, we'll drop the $2." That seemed reasonable to us, so we agreed.

Two months later, I've realized we're still paying that extra $2. Emails and phone calls to Wakefield Subaru have either been ignored, or we've been told "they have no record of that conversation." Clearly bad on us for not getting that in writing. It's our mistake for trusting them, and I'll be reminded of it every time I make our monthly payment.

My family has worked with Al in the past and had great service. This was my first car and Al made the process really easy. He was honest from the beginning and tried his best to get a good deal for us, which he ultimately did. There was no pressure or time constraints in taking the deal. I would highly recommend Al to others looking to purchase a Subaru due to his consistency in providing genuine, friendly service from the beginning to the end.

Perry at Subaru of Wakefield was wonderful, had great energy and was able to get me my new Impreza at a great price with the trade in that I had. It was a very busy Saturday, but I was given every ounce of attention needed to walk me through the trade in and buying process. When it came time to pickup, Perry took me through all of my new car's features, Bluetooth set-up, and even posed for my first brand new car photo. I would recommend friends and family to Subaru of Wakefield - couldn't be happier! Looking forward to ski season with my new AWD Subie.

Scheduled a recall appointment 3 months ahead for significant engine repair (valve spring replacement). Confirmed appointment via phone call and email, as well as a calling the day before and speaking to the service department regarding how long I would be given a loaner car and drop off time. Arrived Saturday morning to drop off the car and was told the recall work could not be done and I would have to schedule a new appointment for almost 2 months later. I was told that because I had made the original appointment online it wasn't valid even though I had called to confirm multiple times. The worst part was that at no point did the people at the service desk accept fault or remorse for the complete waste of time it had caused or suggest that the problem was on their end. They immediately became aggressive and argumentative and had no clear explanation why my appointment was "no longer valid". It felt like a complete scam that they didn't want to complete a recall appointment. Will never go back to this dealership.

I recently visited Subaru of Wakefield and had the pleasure of working with their staff on purchasing my new 2018 WRX. The sales person I worked with was Christian and she was a real pleasure. The staff here is very friendly, knowledgeable , and on point. They are very willing to work with you on issues and get your needs met quickly, and effectively.

We are still car shopping, but we decided to drop by Subaru of wakefield Because while driving by it seems like they have a large Inventory. The show Room was nice and clean, and they also have a Starbucks Coffee machine. And as expected they had a good amount of selection, and the sales staff though we talked to was nice enough.

Then it's all about the numbers, and honestly did not have enough time to get into more details. But if they can make it work, we would love to buy a Subaru tomorrow.

I brought my xv crosstrek there with bulbs issues, they did not have the fog bulb part, they open that box and did not put it back. Also with the courtesy car they provided, they lied about odometer and gas level only to extort me. They also tried to blame on me the body issues the car had, given that they were not even my doing. To make long story short, don't go there unless you have no choice.

Awful service department! Very rude and unprofessional - from the technicians to their customer service. This is the 2nd time I brought my car for an oil change - both times they were negligent. First time, I got in my car to drive away and noticed grease on the inside. Luckily, I noticed it before I drove away so I went back in to complain and they brought it back in their service garage to clean it up (mind you, it was a Brand new Forester!) ..This past time, I waited while they changed the oil - a week later my Windshield wiper fluid light came on saying it was low. After opening the hood, noticed it was bone dry! I then looked at the Oil change reminder sticker they put on windshield, under mileage it had 53,545 -- I had 10,700 miles!! I called their customer service department, spoke to Donna who had no interest in my concern and without any apology, simply told me to "bring it back in and they'll fill it up." Sure, because I have so much free time on my hands!! At this point, I seriously question if they even changed my oil. Funny, they never make a mistake collecting exactly what is due to them before they give you your keys after their alleged service is 'completed!' NEVER AGAIN!

Update: got problem fixed at the other dealership.

Went to Wakefield s service department to get my navigation screen checked out on a 2-year old Legacy (which I love), because there are black squiggly lines all over across the screen (see pic). They're more apparent under the sun and noticeable too when the car isn't even on. They said nothing is wrong, that the lines are always there, and that the new cars on the lot have them too. So I left, but knew for a fact that they were not there from when i first brought the car home two years ago. Looking at some responses online in subaru forums, I decided to give my original dealership a call. I have an appointment now in three weeks when i go home. They looked at the picture and said that it is definitely not normal.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Subaru of Wakefield. The staff was very friendly throughout the process of buying a new Subaru. The sales person I worked with, Lawrence, was courteous and friendly. He was quite polite and professional working with my wife and I to find the right vehicle for us. One week after driving off the lot, and I am very happy with my car. I would definitely recommend Subaru of Wakefield to friends and family.

My wife and I tested 15 different cars and car bra...

My wife and I tested 15 different cars and car brands. We went to Subaru of Wakefield twice. First time we did a test drive was with Sydney Wandyck. He looked totally disinterested in making a sale and never said anything about the car unless I said something about it, in which case he replied with yes , no or I don t know . Didn t even know how CVT works and was on his phone for the duration of the drive. The second time we met with Perry Mallias, almost the same deal as Sydney with the exception that he just gave us cars to test and went back inside.

But we liked the Subaru Legacy with added on package and decided to go with it. So I emailed ten different Subaru dealerships in my area and tried to negotiate the price. I was offered a couple of good deals but eventually decided to go with Subaru of Wakefield because they were the closest to me and have promised to match the lowest price and give me the exact car that I want. Anna Rosa, the internet sales person, even offered $250 price guarantee on top of the match. So I told them I am ok if they keep that $250 as long as they don t give me any issues and try to renegotiate the price when I come in, my wife simply hates that as do I. Plus their car MSRP was $300 more than the lowest offer so I thought I was going to be nice in order to avoid any misunderstandings .

And wouldn t you know it, there was a misunderstanding . When we came in Anna Rosa took a minute to remember who I was even thought I told her 30 minutes prior that we are coming in to buy a car. That was the red flag for me right away. Once we sat down Al Mazin, the sales guy, presented us with the offer that was $700 more than the price we agreed on. After I pointed out that s not the correct price he said he couldn t find any emails from Anna. So I showed him the emails. Then of course he had to go check with the manager and Anna; you know how that goes. After 15 minutes he comes back with the price reduction of $200, still $500 more than agreed.

So at this point my wife is pretty aggravated, she told me specifically she did not want to go through this misunderstandings . So I m thinking, ok, let s see the car and then we can talk again. Boy was that a surprise. I asked for either silver or carbide exterior with dark interior; instead Al presented us with gold exterior and white interior. I m thinking gold looks nice, I can live with that, but we have a kid in the back, no way am I buying a car with the white interior.

Al tried to convince us that they can find a car we are looking for but needs time and MORE MONEY. We, of course, walked out with no car.

Then they tried to apologize via email for the misunderstanding because some things can be confusing . I m an analyst; I work with confusing things all day long. Of course I told them to go to hell and don t try to contact me again. And of course they did contact me again. And on top of that they tried to blame Quirk Subaru from Quincy for misleading me with their deceptive advertising . I mean who does that?? What kind of a scumbag blames other dealer for offering a better price after what they did to us?

But there is a happy ending to this story. We found the car we wanted at the Natick dealership, walked in with the agreed price and walked out 30 minutes later with the smile on out faces. Thank you Subaru of Natick.

Recently, my Subaru Impreza had a catastrophic failure (suspension collapsed) while on a business trip. I am from CT and was about 140 miles from home. I called AAA (who also deserves high praise) and they phoned two Subaru delaerships on my behalf. Christine Gallella at Subaru of Wakefield took the call and told them to send the car over. She acknowledged that they had a number of appts already scheduled but understood I was in a major jam. We flatbedded the car to the dealership, and within minutes they had it up on the lift and diagnosed the problems. Amazingly, all the required parts where in stock, and they got to work immediately. The car was ready about 4 hrs later and I was able to drive home to CT that evening. What a relief. I was already scrambling to find a hotel, rental car, etc, and in the end, needed none of that. A job well done. Truly appreciate them going above and beyond for a customer that had never dealt with this dealership before and was from out of town. Thanks again.

Al Mazin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He showed me a few cars late at night and since I was still looking told me that I could call him the next day, even though he wasn't working, if I had any questions. He also was helpful with finding the spare set of keys and getting my registration transferred.

Six years ago, after coming from a dentist appointment that was only a block away, my husband and I decided we would pop in to Wakefield Subaru to look at cars...since our lease with them would be coming due in a couple of months. We were only looking, just had a tooth pulled and knew the novacaine would be wearing off soon! Lol. Well we were greeted my a salesman named Christian, ( same name as my son) we tell him why we are there and he asked when is your lease up, we said we're really not sure. He said, no problem I can find that out for you! Well we happen to see a white legacy that we liked in the showroom and Christian said, have a seat for a minute... And that's when the deception started! Christian tells us that we have four months left on our lease... but that's not a problem, they will pay our last 4 payments and get us into that Legacy today!! We were happy with the price, so next thing you know, we're signing papers and were the proud owners of a new Legacy!! We picked the car up a couple of days later and off we go! A couple of weeks later we get a bill from the leasing company asking us to pay off the remainder of the lease! Well phone calls to Wakefield were basically... It's your word against ours and we never said that!!! Why would we ever, with two sons in college, pay four more months on a car that we no longer had in our possession??? We ended up taking them to small claims court and settled in mediation. They paid half of what we owed, but I always wished that we had gone ahead with a jury trial. Shame on us for taking them at their word, at our age we should have known better!!! So learn a lesson from our mistake and steer clear of this dealership!!

I have purchased two new vehicles from this dealership now. Fozzy took care of my WRX purchase last year and gave us the deal we wanted. He was super patient and informative. Everything went so easily with him. When my coupon wouldn't go through, Fozzy continued trying until I had to just give up and call SOA to check what was going on. This week, Christian took care of helping my boyfriend with a new Crosstrek in the color and transmission that he wanted. She was very helpful and kind. She made us laugh so much-- she is definitely a great and friendly person. She even bought us some delicious muffins as a congrats gift on the new car. This dealership has been nothing but wonderful to me. I can't speak on the service department since I go somewhere else for that, but I will always recommend Wakefield Subaru to my friends and family when they're looking for a vehicle.

A great experience! I worked with Larry and Ken on the purchase of a 2018 Forester. Larry was a great person to work with, comfortable, very knowledgeable, funny, honest, and straightforward. Ken was especially courteous and attentive, I had walked in on a very busy day and he made sure I got a test drive in. Upon returning a few days later Larry took over and what a great experience! It was fun, no really, IT WAS FUN! I never felt like they were trying to hornswoggle me, or secretly didn t offer me incentives so they made more of a profit. If I was confused they offered explanations until I understood and was comfortable with things, they were very upfront and offered me the best possible deal they could. I appreciate all of their hard work, it truly was an easy and pleasurable experience.
