I called Subaru of Wakefield after an unpleasant experience with another local Subaru dealer. After speaking with Al Mazin I decided to go see him about buying my next (my fifth) Subaru.
Al greeted me warmly and right away I felt that he would be the right person to deal with. He listened to my needs and concerns. He was attentive and understanding. He knew what I wanted and was willing to help me through the entire process. He stayed with me and kept me informed and was there to answer all of my questions and concerns. Al made buying my new Subaru a pleasant and stress-free experience. I got a great deal on a great car.
Al introduced me to the sales manager, the business manager, and the service manager. Everyone was very nice and the dealership had a friendly, almost family-like feeling. Even the few customers who were waiting for their cars to be serviced were happy and friendly.
They found me a great financing rate and handled all the paperwork without pressuring me for anything and certainly made that part easy for me as everything was easily explained and all of my questions were answered.
Subaru of Wakefield made buying a new Subaru a pleasant experience. I will return to Subaru of Wakefield for my next car and will insist that anyone else I know go there to shop for their next car.
Thank you Al, and thank you Subaru of Wakefield for the best car buying experience ever.

I met with Jason and test drove the Crosstrek and explained to him that I was coming in to research my options and was not ready to jump into anything. He understood and was very nice, helpful, and not pushy. However, his manager Ken then came over and proceeded to make me feel so uncomfortable I did not return to this dealership. Ken was extremely pushy and made me feel awful. He was aggressive about the fact that I wasn't buying a car right then and there, and also made comments about how I "wasn't going to make a decision without my dad" which made me extremely uncomfortable as my father is the one who owns my current car and needs to be involved in the trade in process. I felt as if he was extremely pushy and would not let me speak.

Jason was kind, courteous and very helpful answering all questions regarding the various options and packages available. He helped make the purchase and trade-in as painless as possible.

Finance rep was very knowledgeable and made the finance paperwork easily understood and stress-free. The Sales facility was clean and everyone was kind and eager to help. The sales Rep Jason really was a pleasure to work with and we would definitely recommend him and Subaru of Wakefield to our family and friends.

My wife and I had found an excellent deal for a 2018 Outback, but at another local dealer. I emailed Subaru of Wakefield to see if they would match the deal. The internet salesperson checked with his manager and promptly reported back that they would match it. Although I had my doubts about it panning out, I went into the dealer that evening and they matched the deal to the penny. They gave us an incredibly fair deal. We worked with Al Mazin, who was the best salesperson we've ever dealt with. He was courteous, professional, and most importantly, brought a wealth of knowledge to the table. Al was incredible throughout the buying experience. The Finance Manager was also excellent (professional, transparent, etc.). This was the best car buying experience of our lives. We highly recommend both Al and Subaru of Wakefield.

I have purchased a brand new Forester in Wakefield...

I have purchased a brand new Forester in Wakefield, MA on 9/30/2019. One thing I was very disappointed. The web site said customer can get 2.9% interest rate for the car loan. The sale person told me if my credit score is higher than 700, I am qualified. I have completed all the financing process and no one told me the percentage I got is not 2.9%. (Of course it was my mistake, I did not read the paper on the rate section when I sign the paper. The finance manager did not tell me at the time I signed the paper either.) One day before I pick up the car, I found I got 4.84%. It was a shock. The next day when I picked my car, the same financial manager was off. The other manager can not handle his case. I already arranged to drive that car back to work. The office asked me call back next day to that financial manager.
On the next day, the finance manager told me the rate was done by the Subaru system. He apologized to me. But there is nothing he can do. It sounds if I have not picked up this car, I might be able to do something.
I like to recommend everyone include myself, the sale's person and finance manager should tell their customer if the car loan rate did not come out as they told their customer. Very bad feeling on this purchasing experience.

While the car I purchased (used 2017 GMC Acadia) h...

While the car I purchased (used 2017 GMC Acadia) has been great so far the service I received after making the deal was poor at best.

Prior to the test drive the car did not start. The dealer claimed a dome light was left on (not possible on this model since they automatically shut off even when left on) and the car had been sitting unused for some time. We requested the battery and charging system be tested.

After the test drive I found a screw in a tire so I requested it be removed and patched from the inside if needed.

I received the worst trade in offer for my car I was trading in but was getting such a great deal in the newer vehicle I didn't not argue much. The same went for the 5.04% interest rate I was told was the best they could do but since I am paying the car off in full immediately I just went with it to make the purchase a little easier.

Two days later we brought the car home and were very happy with it. The next morning it would not start. I was able to jump it but the battery was not holding a a charge. I had to go to work leaving my wife and two children with no vehicle for the day.

We began calling the dealer at 9am when they opened leaving both my wife's cell number and my work number. We called twice each leaving our numbers with multiple people or voice mails with no response. I finally spoke to a manager around 1:30 and he gave me the excuse that both of our numbers were not working and that was why we were not called back. After some arguing he asked us to have AAA tow the car to him, his service department would inspect the vehicle.

It was towed shortly after 2, he contacted me around 4:30 that they were changing the battery and he would have it driven back to our home. Now I was impressed with how quickly the car was serviced and returned but the issue was asked to be addressed prior to taking delivery.

The next day I had purchased some weather proof floor liners for the car so I removed the factory floor mats to find a few old hard french fries, business cards and a little bit of dirt that I would have expected to be cleaned before delivery. We were annoyed but not nearly enough to contact the dealer again.

Now 4 days after getting the car I decided I needed to inspect the tire that had the screw in it, I searched and sure enough I found the screw. At this point I brought it to a local GM dealer I trusted and asked them to go though the car front to back to see what else was neglected. We were also beginning to notice the breaks squeaking and from a visual inspection the GM dealer believed it was just due to low quality pads being installed and didn't require any attention at this time.

Overall Subaru of Wakefield provided a great price on our used vehicle. Their facility is lacking a paint shop, collision center, and inspection station. I now have no trust in their service department and would advise against doing anything but buying a car there. Get your own financing and have the car checked by and independent service center you trust.

These people offer an online parts retail service, but when I ordered a part from them they never shipped it. I attempted to contact them, and they kept giving me excuses such as "it'll be backordered for another couple of days" or "my online guy will call you in 5 minutes". As it turns out, neither of those things were true. It's five days shy of a month since I placed the order, still no part, not even a shipment notification. I am filing a dispute with PayPal.

The dealership was very responsive from the start. I sent an email request request a new Forester and Jon Coil called me within 15 minutes. He was very professional and courteous in helping to answer my questions. He guided me to the right car for my daughter and quoted a very competitive price. There was no pressure. no hassle. This continued in subsequent calls and emails.
Once I had decided on a car, John introduced me to Rick, the finance manager, who arranged incrediblely competitive financing again in a totally professional, no pressure manner. The paperwork was all done over the phone or by email.
Rick and John then arranged for Larry to bring the paperwork to a downtown Boston where I signed it in 10 minutes.
The only time I went to the dealership was to collect the car. Larry was incredibly patient and efficient as he walked my daughter and I through every aspect of the car.
I highly recommend Subaru of Wakefield.

I did not want to go through another winter with out an AWD . As I started looking at my options I noticed how stylish and updated the Subaru has become . I felt that I got a fair trade for my Altima and bought a Subaru Legacy. I was very pleased with the professional and pleasant manner of AL MAZIN. His explanation and walk through of the features of my new car were also extremely helpful. I would recommend AL MAZIN of the Subaru Wakefield Dealership to anybody in the market for a new car.

Go to North Reading instead. Awful Customer Servic...

Go to North Reading instead. Awful Customer Service and Slow to no repair. My Letter to the ownership below was never responded to. I will NEVER be going back to this place.

"Hi Sal and Howard,

My name is Nicholas Algiere, and I have been working with your service and parts team over the past 5 months to get a part installed in my 2006 Subaru Tribeca. I need this part as a result of an accident that occurred in February for my HVAC unit. Throughout the process I have worked with Christine Gallella, who was outstanding and very good about providing updates about where the part was and time frame.

When I finally got a call back after bringing my car in Feb/March saying that the team had the part that was going to get installed, I had to come out of work to get it replaced. Unfortunately after I was sitting in Service for an hour, Mike Rossi came to tell me that the part had never actually been received. This was very disheartening as I had to take some time out of my work day to be told that there was never anything available after already waiting a month. After this, Mike Rossi took the reigns on my case and vowed to make sure it would happen in the most timely manner possible. I was curious to hear that during this conversation he said "please understand that we did not do this damage to your car." Where as I understand that the Wakefield Subaru team did not do this damage, I brought it to you on a recommendation and expectation that the team would be capable of fixing it in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, Mike has been little to no help and after vowing to take care of this, it feels like he has been inattentive to my situation. I've called Mike on several occasions now and more often than not receive responses such as "I'm in training, I'll call you back," or "I'm in a meeting, I'll call you back," or even "I'm going to talk to my parts manager, I'll call you back." During each one of these encounters, Mike has failed to call me back. Two weeks ago he said the ETA on the part was going to be 6/9, I have tried to contact him various times after this but have not been able to understand status or schedule the repair. This reflects very poorly on the service team as this is the manager of the team telling me he will be attentive to my problem, only to continually put me off.

It has been about 5 months since I started working with your service team, and I have all but given up. I even attempted to help the process by sending websites of some salvage yards that may have had the part I'm looking for.

I live in Wakefield and have heard wonders about you and your team, however; from this personal experience I'm uncertain I would recommend anyone close to me to come here.

If for nothing else, I hope that this gives a bit of insight from a customer perspective of the service management team and how they are treating your customers. It seems to me like waiting 5 months lead time to have your car fixed is just a bit too much.

Thanks for your consideration and if you would like to discuss in more depth I can provide my phone number to you at your earliest convenience. "

I brought my car in for service and it basically needed a repair that they had to order the part that was no in stock. They were very diligent in keeping me updated on the status of the part and once it came in, I was able to drop off my car for the repair and they gave me a loaner for the day. I dealt with Freddie and Dave (not sure what they're last name are, but they're both service advisors). The environment was very friendly and welcoming. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Kudos to Subaru of Wakefield's service department!...

Kudos to Subaru of Wakefield's service department! It's no fun having major car problems, and even less so as a gig worker. And problems got further compounded when a family member became seriously ill the same week my car decided to become inoperative. When i got my car to SOW it became very clear very quickly that my 2011 Subu Legacy had a lot of problems that would take many days to fix: They are still trying to get parts for my car 9 days after I brought it in.. SOW understood the difficult a situation i was in and provided a rental for me to use while they work on my car. . Looking out at the pouring rain today I'm glad I can safely get to work in my rental, while knowing SOW is doing its best to get my Subu running. Their hard work and sensitivity to my situation give me peace of mind to focus on what's important. I've always loved the quality of SOW's work, but their human touch will be long remembered. Thank you!

I'm new to the area and was referred to Subaru of Wakefield for transmission work. They did a fine job with the work but did a poor job of communicating updates on the status of my vehicle's service throughout the process. The folks at the front desk in the service department were not helpful with providing information on the status of my vehicle. I was told that my vehicle work was complete and drove to pick it up; I arrived and was checked out and the service attendant realized that my vehicle was still on a lift and not completed. They apologized but didn't communicate this to the front desk personnel, and on Monday morning I received a call asking how my service experience was - they had no idea that I hadn't picked up my car because the repair wasn't complete. No one sincerely apologized to me throughout the process, and I felt like they did a satisfactory customer service job overall.

I love my Subaru Legacy, but this dealership is terrible. I recommend purchasing a Subaru, but do it somewhere else. The Bluetooth in my car sporadically stops working. I took my car back to this dealership FOUR TIMES and each time they said they fixed it, but the problem persists. I'm writing this review because I gave up on bringing my car back to them. Please heed my advice and do not give this dealership your money.

I'm sure there are some wonderful sales people that work here I just did not have the pleasure of dealing with them. instead I wasted too much of my time and energy trying to buy a car from them. made an appointment to test drive a car. showed up. "uh sorry it's not ready." than why didn't you call me.."uh.." even worse they obviously didn't care about wasting my time. we all make mistakes but profssionals do their best to correct them. so I made an appointment for later in the week. Called first this time. "uh..sorry". bye bye Wakefield Subaru. I'm going back to north reading were I'm showed some respect.

Such a poor customer service. Subaru has sold millions of cars but this place will not support them if they continue such an rude and sarcastic attitude. Even a manager sounds crazy. Don't even step in to save your time. No value to a customer. They do not give a chance to you to talk, just argue and leave us disappointed. Do not even think of going here. John was polite, courteous, friendly and mostly what I liked about John was that he was so knowledgeable about the Subaru Forester. I came in to the dealership just to do a test drive. My husband and I explained the concerns I had with buying cars and he was more than helpful. I am short and I needed to have the power seat. I also had to have the power lift gate due to my breast cancer. John knew exactly which model to show me, and I am now the proud owner of a Subaru Forester. I must say, on the whole the Dealership personnel made the experience for me a wonderful one, and I would recommend it to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

!DISCRIMINATION!

!DISCRIMINATION!
I went to this dealership and met a good-rating salesman. The price negotiation did not proceed at all. The sales guy just insisted that he was offering the best discount, even though I mentioned that some other further away in MA confirmed much better offers. That's fine. Business is business. As a customer, if I dont have a happy experience here, I just shop somewhere else.

But, what makes me really uncomfortable is DISCRIMINATION. Basically, he said living in W****R (a town with good school systems), I should pay more for the car. I dont want to propagate discrimination, if needed, I can name him and quote the town.

Having never bought a new car before, and having walked out on a poor sales experience the week before (halfway through signing paperwork), we went to Wakefield Subaru and had a great experience. Met up with Justin, he showed us a car, an XV CrossTrek, we drove it. and really liked it, but didn't really think the car was for us because the storage was too small. Left the dealer without being pressured.

A week later, decided that a Forester might be the way to go. Went back in there, test drove one, then sat in a couple, and had a low-pressure sale. Justin was funny and personable, without being high-pressure or cheesy or talking too much. It seemed to break the stereotype of a car salesman.

Very happy with my purchase. Extremely happy with the sales process.

Ever since I purchased my 2018 Subaru Cross Trek a...

Ever since I purchased my 2018 Subaru Cross Trek at Wakefield Subaru, the oil pressure light comes on between 4000 and 5000 miles before scheduled oil change. The first time was before the first scheduled oil change at 6000 miles. The owners manual says "IF THIS LIGHT COMES ON, LUBRICATING SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. CAUTION, DO NOT OPERATE THE ENGINE WITH THE OIL PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THIS COULD CAUSE SERIOUS ENGINE DAMAGE"?

Every single time I bring it in and they say the oil consumption rate is completely normal? Apparently the car is supposed to consume 1/3 quart every 1200 miles? Not sure if this is a self-imposed limit, or a result of the oil consumption lawsuit Subaru lost? The service manager showed me a document that stated this, but when I asked him for a copy, he said it was proprietary and I could not have it.

Every time I bring the car in and they have to do an oil change (prematurely). The service manager says I need to drive around with a container of oil and top it off when the light comes on? This is a brand new car that should not be consuming so much oil. I should not have to pull off the road and keep filling up the oil when the light comes on before my oil changes?!

THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!

Wish I could put NO STARS! Went here today and brought my father along because I value his opinion. Came with every intention of leaving with a new car since I had already found a couple of cars I liked on their website, and gone through the trouble of filling out the credit application online. After taking a test drive we went back to the dealership. Long story short, wanted to make a deal and the woman we were dealing with got her sales manager to come over and like a total CHAUVINIST PIG did not speak to me once, even though it was my name on the credit app. I had the cash in my bag to buy the car annd oh yeah did I mention the car was for ME?! He only spoke to my father and barely acknowledged me and then told us he wouldn't budge on the price. Hahaha THANKS F*** FACE!! After that we went to North Reading Subaru, dealt with David Laurie, got WONDERFUL customer service, found the car I wanted and got a great deal. In the meantime Wakefield called back and left a voicemail saying they would like to try earning my business and to give them a call back LMFAO Don't bother with Subaru Wakefield unless you like being treated like garbage.

Our sales person Larry was very professional but at the same time made us feel welcome and easy to talk freely with him. This was my first time going to this dealership fo...

This was my first time going to this dealership for service after being directed to by Subaru Of America because my brand new 2020 Forester was having some electrical issues and my windshield had cracked, which there is a class action lawsuit for these windshields which is the reason Subaru Of America wanted the car at the dealer. When I got there I was told by someone claiming to be Mike the service a manger that I needed to have my windshield replaced before they would even consider looking at the car. I explained that SOA wanted to document everything that was going on with the car. The person again insisted that he was not going to do anything until the windshield was replaced. I asked if I could have the glass company come to the dealership while they worked on everything else that was wrong with the car and had them install a new windshield and then the service department could realign the cameras and the guy told me no. So I took the car home and made an appointment for 3 days later and when I returned again, I asked for Mike, and was told that he was busy in a meeting but someone else would help and and it just so happened to be the person who was claiming to be Mike last time. This time he said that he would only be able to test drive my car and unless there were codes that were present he was not going to be able to do anything else. Even though SOA wanted the car there so they could figure out why there was an issue. He then told me I was not going to be able to get a loaner because he couldn t put me into a loner indefinitely. I had never asked for a loaner indefinitely . I simply just wanted my cameras realigned and the car looked through and fixed. I drove 40 minutes each way just to be told that this dealership didn t want to help me. I finally took the car to Metrowest Subaru and they were extremely helpful and worked with Subaru Of America. Metrowest didn t even charge me for ANYTHING after being quoted $250 from this place. I d strongly suggest going to Metrowest Subaru and not wasting your time with this place..

I m not sure if the owner of this page read this whole review, but the windshield was replaced and I brought the car back and was told that there was nothing they could do other than calibrate the eyesight. Which I wanted done in the first place. They also said there was nothing they could do other then road test the car, even though I explained throughly that Subaru Of America wanted the car there.... oh well I m satisfied with Metrowest and will be sending the car there from now on!

After having to buy a Dodge Van for hauling stuff and dealing with their horrible service staff it gives me great fondness for the seamless, excellent, and always honest service/sales ive always had at Wakefield Subaru. Larry the service tech and Perri my salesman were by far the best I've ever dealt with. Perri even got me literally the first '15 Launch Edition STI they received from Japan and went above and beyond always knowing your name, coming to say hi when you were in for service.

All other dealers (especially Dodge/Ram) should take a course from how these guys operate.

Previous to Wakefield I went to Ira Subaru in Danvers, I walked around the lot with my son and then into the showroom for 15 minutes with not even a hello from anyone. I left there and went to Wakefield Subaru and was immediately and warmly greeted. I was then paired with a sales person who went over all of the features of the model I was interested and even had a plate on similar vehicle ready for me to go test drive.
After every feature of the vehicle was explained and demonstrated for me we went for a test drive and I was sold. Not only by the vehicle I was interested in but the entire staff and the warm way they greeted me and made me feel comfortable through the whole buying process. I have already recommended them to others interested in a Subaru.

Very friendly dealership, not pushy let you look around. Worked with Nelson very honest, hard working, and kept his promises. Very informative about my vehicle. Great place for a first time car buyer like myself.

From my first internet contact to the picking up of my new Legacy everyone was top notch. Telephone and Internet replies were timely with great follow-up on all of my questions. At age 74 I have dealt with a number of car dealerships over the years but Subaru of Wakefield and their staff jump straight to the top. No one backs away......everyone is there for you, the customer.

I just had a worst experience with Subaru of Wakefield and paid over 1,000 dollars to fix AC problem of Subaru Forrester. I had to go back several times to get it fixed. Technician told me that it would only take 2 hours to replace broken AC compressor to a new one. Initially they asked my to pay 1,200 dollars and then they gave me some discount. The cost of the parts came out to be around $550 and the labor is the rest. My wife took 5 year old and 1 and a half year old boy to pick up and drop of the car since after their initial try, AC was still not working. After I came back from a out of the country work trip, I had to take the whole family to pick up the car only to find out that the AC problem was still there. The most amazing part of this process was that they were being mad at us rather than being sorry. I will not only never going back to Subaru of Wakefield but also never going to purchase another Subaru brand. I also contacted Subaru of America and they told me that they are not responsible. This is what I have experienced.

I love my Subaru Impreza!! I bought it last September (2017). It was the best purchase I've ever made. I'll always buy a Subaru! They are a great company, make amazing vehicles, contribute to charities/non-profits pretty often, have awesome safety ratings on their vehicles, etc. My car handled the snow like a BEAST with multi-season wheels. I didn't even need snow tires like I kept thinking I would. Thanks again, Subaru!!

Edit: When I get service done on my vehicle, Nima and Fred are the best in the service department! They're always friendly, always make me laugh and the service department is fast and great at what they do.

Negotiated a deal and then instead of telling me that they sold the car played silly games to keep me around "we're looking for the car" "It was right here" "can't see it from my desk". I respect people who treat others with respect, not like children. The people at Subaru of Wakefield treat their customers with contempt.. Go elsewhere!

The service department at Subaru of Wakefield is top notch, from the guys at the front desk to the service manager, Mike, who I've dealt with on numerous occasions. I've had some issues with my 2013 Crosstrek, which I attribute possibly to it being the first model they ever rolled out, as they seem to be uncommon problems. I had an issue with the AC that required multiple visits and repairs over a span of time, each requiring a different part to get the job done. I was not responsible for the repeat repair costs as the issue was not considered to be resolved the first time around and it should not have needed three repairs in only three years for that issue. They are reliable and honest with you and aren't immediately defensive and ready to brush you off when you say you'd like to discuss an issue with them. I've heard nightmare stories from friends who take cars to dealerships for any type of car repairs. I won't take my car anywhere else and I highly recommend them for customer service and repairs!

My Dad leased a Subaru last summer. He was definitely happy with the car and I assume the purchasing experience. My family lost him to COVID19 and Joe Barbagallo, the sales manager, couldn't have been more helpful or understanding. Having to deal with many things during a stressful time makes me appreciate the people who "get it" As a public service announcement, cancel your Xfinity Mobile now or burden your children with hours of their lives they will never get back. Thanks Joe!!!

I bought my 2016 Subaru Outback in 2017 from Mastria in Raynham, MA. I took it there the first couple times for maintentenance (very pleased) but because of the distance (I live in Woburn) I began going to Wakefield. I took it twice to Wakefield for regular maintenance I was told I would need brakes soon. I had the brakes done by my trusted mechanic that I've had for years out of convenience. My mechanic called and asked when I last had my tires rotated. I told him a couple of months ago. He told me that one of the tires was frozen on and the front tires were unevenly worn because they hadn't been rotated. I will need to buy two front tires in order to get a sticker due this month. I'm really not looking for compensation since my rear tires are borderline. I am concerned about going back since I now have a feelings of distrust. I feel you should know about this to prevent a more serious incident from happening.

If you can look past the at times eye gouging prices and up selling of some maintenance this dealership is pretty darn amazing. Purchased my subbie here and have had some maintenance done as well. They have a decent facility and get the job done. Was spoken to respectfully and intelligently. Decent spot.

Subaru of Wakefield and Justin were extremely helpful in assisting my fiance and I locate and purchase our new 2013 Impreza. With the new Impreza's being high in demand, finding the exact one that we wanted took a bit of work and originally seemed like a daunting task. Justin was very patient and willing to work with us on placing a new factory order and work with other dealers in the area to help us get exactly what we wanted, instead of pressuring us to just take one off the lot for a quick sale. Justin was able to help us locate the exact car that we wanted way ahead of schedule, so needless to say we are quite pleased with our new Impreza and with the quality of service @ Subaru of Wakefield. In the end, he reviewed all of the features in the car from hood to hatch, to make sure knew everything about the car, and had everything that we needed.

This is a great, friendly, low pressure dealership - If any of my friends are in the market for a Subaru I would definitely recommend Justin, and Subaru of Wakefield to them!

I took my WRX to Subaru of Wakefield a few weeks ago after two years of dealing with the same clutch issue at another dealership. The other dealership in Belmont "fixed" the issue by replacing the cheapest part. Shocker. Did this 3 times...never worked and never addressed the root cause. After much frustration I made an appointment at Wakefield. They were kind, attentive, and immediately knew what the issues was. Told me they'd have to replace the whole clutch, but my car was out of warranty...Thanks for that, Belmont dealership...Appreciate it! Now I'd have to shell out thousands to fix the problem that they never fixed. But Subaru of Wakefield recognized the issue, acknowledged my frustration, and even chose to fix it without additional costs to me. Going on three weeks without a problem, and they will definitely have my business going forward!

This was my first car buying experience and it was made simple and efficient. The place is clean, the people are knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately mask wearing and social distancing is a thing right now, but they have handled it fabulously.

There is a wide selection of cars here including ones that are not Subaru. Whether you are looking for a used car or a new one I don t think you d have a problem finding what you re looking for.

I bought my Forester from them 2 years ago and transmission got broken within the first year. The repair took me wait more than 2 months. During the waiting period, no update and it was like a black hole. I was given a old car to drive for 2 months.....that was totally ridiculous. And the transmission got broken AGAIN in this September.......I am wondering if I really bought a new car....can't believe twice transmission broken on a "new car".

This time, I took my car to another Subaru dealer...Same bad experience and I has been waiting for another 2 months. I have no idea when I could get my car back and my holiday season was totally ruined. I was told Subaru is good in car quality...but now I will tell people to think more before you buy any cars from Subaru. Overall quality might be good, but if you are unlucky like me, you will want to kill yourself because of the super slow repair process and poor customer support. I really want to give "No Star" review but is not available. I don't think they deserve any star at all.

Had some issues with the crv transmition. Subaru has extended warranty for the transmition on some models, which my car was one of those. Took to auto fair Subaru in Haverhill and they didn't even want to look at the issue , but Wakefield Subaru took it right in, looked at it and determined it was under the warranty and promptly repaired it.
The service manager and front office staff where great about explaining things and very friendly not snooty like the other place.
Thanks for the good service.

Dealership: Sales people are typical hardball car dealership types. After going back and forth with them and having my time wasted so salesman (Donovan Dodge) could "talk to his manager" three separate times, I gave up and later went to McGovern Subaru in NH instead and much, much better service.

Car service: Brought my 17 Impreza in for an update to the firmware because Android Auto was crashing on my new Pixel XL where it had no such difficulty with previous phone, a Nexus 6P. Service reps were courteous but techs didn't understand how to correctly update firmware. After an hour of waiting they said the firmware was up to date when it's still a whole version number behind the current one listed on Subaru service bulletin. Guess I'll find another dealer.

Update: I ended up paying for a day's worth of access to the Subaru dealer net and acquired/performed the firmware update myself. No more issues after updating. Cost me $20 instead of being free like it should have been. Thanks, Subaru of Wakefield!

Girlfriend was buying a used car. There was/is an administration fee of 550. The young lady handling the paper work said they only fax paperwork to the lein holders for customers that finance through them. Then gave her the wrong form twice. Its a bill of sale and an rmv form. Its not confusing. Why the administration fee if you cant send a fax for someone spending thousands at your joints. Seems like they wanna make it seem harder for people not financing with you. The salesman was nice and seemed to commiserate.

I was focused on purchasing a new Subaru and after reaching out to multiple Subaru dealerships in the area, found that Subaru of Wakefield had the best selection and pricing. Despite knowing going in that I would most likely be purchasing a new Subaru with them, both Jon Coill (the internet sales manager) and Perry Mallias were incredibly helpful. I inquired about some additional items with their parts department, which when they found that the items were not in stock offered them at a discount and they were still delivered to the dealership in under a week. Perry even came to pick me up on Thursday to bring me to the dealership to pick up my new car. I would absolutely recommend Subaru of Wakefield to friends and family.
