Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Review

The first and only time I will leave a review. My mother passed away at this facility today. The cause of death is unknown because she was recovering from surgery and starting therapy to get her strength back. I don t know who to blame but from the time she spent at Oak Hill until today something went wrong. She was fine one week ago when I saw her. This place you have to make an appointment to go see your loved one which could take weeks. So who knows what type of treatment she was on. Visited the facility and it s more Covid test stricken than OaK Hill. I didn't get no sympathy for my mom who died under their care. Just come see her, pick a funeral home and get her out of here is what it felt like all while another patient was in the same room getting her food. If I had a choice I wouldn t of let my mother come here to die. This review is only from a few hours of visiting and not what I had in mind.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. They do not care , they do not take care of patients. My relative went in needing rehab. He did not get, he came out 42 lbs lighter, dehydrated . Had to call 911 and back to the hospital. IV fluids , stomach tube to feed.
This facility is terrible. How they sleep at night is beyond me.
They get a minus 10 rating. Horrible place. Believe me do not put your loved on there. Had to put a star.. in order to post. They were only there for 30 days.

This place is horrible! They are under staffed and extremely rude. If you love you're family or friends don't bring them here! I wish I could give then a negative rating.

My stay here was very pleasant. The food was great, clean facility, and friendly helpful staff.

So sorry I took my mom there about a year ago for rehab. Nursing care was sub-standard & they wanted to keep her for additional days beyond what Medicare allows. Hell, no! Why would we chose to stay for additional lack of care. I should have moved her out sooner. I would not recommend this facility. There has to be better facilities in our area. If not, God help us all. I hope that by now they have improved on patient care.

horrible place, they don't did their job. my mom had thrush in her mouth, but they never checked, I told her doctor at her appointment that she wasn't eating, he looked in her mouth, and saw it. he eventually readmitted her, then we got a home health nurse. you have to be the patients advocate or they'll let the patient deteriorate. I'm not sure how they even stay open. do not go here. it's bad.

Nothing, the first night my mom spent there she was left alone all night

Horrible experience with my loved one. He is currently in the hospital healing from a bed sore the size of a baseball and about 1/4 in deep. Its taking all the patience the Lord can give me to stay calm because i haven't been able to see him for a month because of this so called covid stipulation. I am grateful to finally be with him because he is at the hospital now.

This place is horrible. If you care about your family, do not put them in this place. They put my Dad in a coma. His sugar went down to 28 and we have 3 stories from 3 people on who found him but nobody knows what happen or how long he was out. His nurse would not even answer a simple question, what is normal protocol for checking on patients??? How irresponsible can a facility be with someone's life? This place should be shut down.

What is going on with the phone system at this place? My dad was admitted to rehab on Tuesday and has no working phone in his room. Members of my family and myself have tried calling the main number numerous times and no one even ANSWERS the PHONE. During business daily hours. Now as of today, no one is allowed in to visit due to the virus which is understandable but we cannot speak to anyone to check on my dad who has dementia and does not know why he is not getting any visitors. This is a very serious issue and if not resolved asap I will be calling the Attorney General's office and State Department to file complaints.

I will receive a reply about this review faster than my Father could get a nurse to his bedside when he needed help. He literally had to call 911 to get someone to his room!

I am not impressed so far. My father has only been there a couple of days, has had minimal therapy, was admitted with mrsa and put into a shared room, has not been supervised when he should have been alarmed and got out of bed and fell. He is blind and has dementia - what are they thinking! Also, we have given them the correct phone number to reach us at least 3 times, and they still can't get it right. This is not a very good facility in my opinion.

This is the best place I have ever been to. I have lived in all the surrounding nursing homes and this is the best. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Excellent place to be with such caring staff to make your stay the best it can be. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to everyone.

Love it. Its sad and its quite childish when you post negative comments to a business based on your experience and not on the actual care your family member reveived. All my encounters with staff at this building have been great. Personalities might not always mesh well but the staff here know how to be professional and very competent. Special people with extraordinary hearts, Linda W, Michelle P, Angie S, Hannah L, Crystal H, Diane, Sharon, Anna, Wes, Derek and all the other amazing staff that put their whole heart into their work and treat visitors, residents and patients like FAMILY.

Poor care no physical therapy catheterize my family members never cleaned the tunes family member was discharged then had to be admitted to er after a day of coming home with severe uti. I would never recommend this facility disgusted with the staff...

It definitely could be cleaner. The staff during the day,M-F is very nice but God help you at night and on weekends, it is few and far between.
The food...bring your own! There's is horrible.

I'm a patient at this facility and am not happy with the care I have received. I've been here for a week and have asked to see the doctor who was in charge of my care to come by and see me no one came . For a week I didn't talk to a doctor about my care no one seemed to care. Then my daughter called to check on me and asked them why no doctor has checked on me. Then finally I got to talk to a doctor and discuss what I felt I needed with in 15 minutes after talking to that doctor I got the meds I needed to start feeling better . Sti wou not recommend this place to my worst enemy

Go anywhere else my dad almost died here never got his breathing treatment. Barely got any pills and never would say what they were. Took 30 minutes to move my dad from the chair to his bed and had 3 so called nurses walk by without doing anything.

It is HORRIBLE!!!!! Do not send anyone here! Workers are rude and do not listen to the patent nor family, the food is so bad the patients are refusing to eat, they aren't helping the patients at all! Again do not send anyone here it is so bad!

Staff is wonderful. Nurse Christina had stepped in when we had an issue with a nurse practitioner that was in to help our doctor. Christina was always open to listen to my concerns and addressed them immediately. I knew my brother was in good hands everyday when i left to go home. Staff are loving and caring. Families and patients are cared for in this facility, they make you feel accepted and like you're family. Wonderful place.

they discharged my mother and told us we had to get her out we picked her up at 12: 00 noon....we had a dr . appointment with her primery care dr at 3:00 pm.. she died at dr office in front of her dr 3 hours after they told us we had to get her out...this place is a nitemare keep your loved ones as far away from this place as you can....we are checking into what legel action we can take!!!! i would not give any stars but its the only way i can get it too post....if you have loved ones there you should stay with them 24 hrs a day!!! this place is not safe!!!! and if you look them up on ahca web site it did say lic expired 1/31/2018.... and under license status it said ligation... are they even a licensed placed??? my mother passed 2/2/2018

After some negative experiences at a facility close to this one, I decided to transfer my mother here. Best decision! I have nothing but positive thoughts for Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation. Thank you everyone for helping our stay in Florida be a more stable and secure one.

March 18, 2018 UPDATE
A couple days ago I received a call from someone named Diane. I asked to speak to Hannah, since she was my main point of contact during my mother's stay. I was rudely denied my 3 requests during the call. Too much gets lost in translation when you begin to involve people who were not present in any conversations. I cannot afford to fly into Florida, we are still recovering from Maria and the break in to the house after we left seeking oxygen and help for my mother's health. But, if I have to find a way get there. PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME COME THERE AND SPEND MONEY WE NEED TO SAFEGUARD THE HOUSE AND PROPERTY. I prefer to speak to Hannah FIRST. (Plus, she's not a bully.) What is not to understand of my simple request?
Obviously, since I received a call, I know your institution has my contact information, so please, have Hannah call me. I have emailed her twice and have received zero response. This is very unlike her.
It is sad that after all the care and positive treatment, someone has to come along and ruin it for everyone. All I need is to speak to Hannah. Why is that so difficult to respect and understand? I am so, so , so disappointed.

Very happy with this facility the nurses and CNA were awesome. I was there for 21 days and was very pleased with the staff

This is a very unorganized facility one staff member doesn't know what the other staff members doing considering a patient and a patient's treatment. I have the pleasure of encountering and Elise from occupational therapy who walked up in the middle of my conversation with my client telling me that I can't talk about someone else's DNR status, she came over all rude and nasty. Upon discharge the nurse expected the patient to go to the desk for instructions and paperwork, we seem to inconvenience her that she actually had to come to the patient's room with discharge papers and instructions. First impressions are everything and the minute you walked in the door you experience that the fact we'll see and staff at this institution is incompetent

Our neighbor Salvatore Lepiscopo spent his last two months of life at Spring Hill Health and rehab in Brooksville. We want to thank Dee and Too and the whole nursing staff for doing such a wonderful job in taking care of Sal and making him comfortable.

Disgusting facility. Do your research before you put your loved one here, and put them somewhere where they watch and care for their needs.

My aunt was here a couple weeks ago. She stayed for 3 weeks for rehab. I don't know why people post anything negative about this place because it is wonderful there. The staff really care about the people there and it is nothing like a typical "nursing home." You can tell that the staff are there because they want to make a difference. We felt like more than just a number. The nurses, aides, and therapists were all very professional but personable too. The food was good and the building was clean. If we needed anything, we got it right away. This would be the only place my aunt would ever want to go back to for rehab.

If I could give no stars I would! As someone said RUN do not walk from this place! Terrible. Bayfront had discharged a 90 year old women to rehab at this facility. The admission was approved and a room was assigned and ready. While on the way from the hospital to Spring Hill Health and Rehab they had "changed their minds". Upon arriving with this distraught women they informed us to leave and go back to the hospital they refused the admission! Unacceptable, they did not care where this women went, unprofessional, condescending and rude does not describe their attitude, they could have cared less! If this doesn't speak volumes to you of how they run that place then I don't know what would!! A report is being filed with Florida Department of Elder Affairs, something needs to be done!!! Management please do not bother to say you will pass my comments to the Executive Director it is just a bunch of talk that means nothing! ACTIONS speak louder than words!

Went visit my sister, these people will never get strong from the cook rherecwho serves horrible food for them to eat! You need cna nurse Your meds they disappear.. filthy floors , dust these people on oxygen have breath in.. laundry they wash but loose your good clothes.. they is no organization there no one who capable a director of this place to handle workers who don t speak English , fire dam cook! Fire lazy ones , don t be wearing that name tag ur in medical profession because you should not be in this field of handling these patients who cannot help themselves, front when you get there is ammuclatevto deserve people checking it out, unacceptable! If we all go to state and complain I will be one to straighten this place out or SHUT IT DOWN! Leave dirty dinner plates around! You need family there to help your loved ones! I was proud to wear my name tag what I was and aimed to serve one dinner... lunch. Breakfast.. if it wasn t right I made it right!!! This place will Get straighten out and if needs be fire all ones who don t give a dam for sake of these patients!!! Including so called big guy who organizes this nightmare of a place.. the patients do not want to complain because then they are treated worse!!!
So I will get decent help for these people where we do not have be so worried bout our loved one!!!

This facility has been wonderful in rehabilitation for my mom! Over the past six years, my mom s had quite a few occasions to be in rehab, and this facility is always our first choice!

The nursing staff is quick in addressing any questions or concerns I have, as well as being very compassionate and professional to deal with.

The rehab department has helped my mom tremendously in making strides in all her abilities especially after spending 60 days in the hospital. They keep me well informed about her progress and are very patient.

The CNA s are very good, too. They give my mom the help and attention she needs on a very timely basis.

Activities are available for all to participate in with a fun-loving group running them!

We are truly grateful and appreciative of all the staff at this facility,

There are many rehab options available in my community, but Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation is always our first choice!

My dad was here in August. He enjoyed his stay and said everyone was really great. He did say that the therapist were excellent and really encouraging. Thank you to the staff for taking care of him.

My step dad is there and everything has been subpar to date. Staff appear to not care and the ones that do, seem desensitized to their environment. Would not recommend this rehabilitation center to anyone

Do not place your loved one here. Most of the nurses and CNA's are very caring but the negative experiences myself and my family have had unfortunately outweigh the good. They are understaffed, they do not have what it takes to be a rehab facility. You get worse not better. I feel for people that do not have family to advocate for them. Unfortunately, Hannah was out on maternity leave, she is very hardworking and caring. Serena does not have a caring bone in her body. She should filter her words before she speaks and realize Spring Hill is a small place.. She should watch what she says..."it's the daughter's problem" regarding discharge planning...really this is her job. I asked for testing and results for possible UTI.. 8 days later.. Then my nana got antibiotics...after being in pain and coming from hospital with a possible UTI. 3 falls after surgery from a broken hip. Asked for X-rays after first fall. It was like pulling teeth. Got a call at 7:30 AM even though I was not the one to call, my mom was, they always mess that up...on Mother's Day...they left a voicemail message which I have saved still that I needed to call them back it was important. My heart dropped, I thought my nana passed away. . It would be nice if they opened the message with it is not an emergency. I was asked to toilet my nana when she is a two person transfer. I know this is long but run do not walk from this place. It appears they drug people to restrain them to make their jobs easier. I am a former SW and it saddens me. I know everyone is understaffed but this should not be.

My mother was there recently. She did not get the PT till it was time to leave. She waited 3 hours for a glass of water and an hour for a Tylenol. She had a broken shoulder, which required surgery to repair. They never changed her dressing or cleaned the wound. They ask her if she wanted to sign over her social security check. I would not take a loved one there.

A huge shout out to Carlos Taborda - a superstar at Spring Hill Health and Rehab! Carlos went the extra mile to reduce our father's anxiety in preparation for his transfer to a hospital 31 miles away. Thank you, Carlos!

My grandmother was there for less than three weeks and they said she was ready to go home because she can walk 50 steps. She can t do anything else and ended up back in the hospital 9 days after returning home.

My mother has been there for just roughly a month now and i have no complaints with most of the staff. The therapy department has been fantastic in aiding with her progress considering her fractured bone. The nurses that have provided care for her is excellent and CNA are great! Nurse Amelia really stood out to me as she has taken an extraordinary amount of time to sit down with me and my mother and explain everything thoroughly. We had some concerns in regards to her edema becoming worse and she was very quick to come up with a solution to help minimize the problem before just jumping strictly to MORE medications as many of the other nurse have done so in the past here. I felt much better after she kindly sat down with us to assure that everything would be handled and it WAS in a timely manner on the WEEKEND. My mother has slight complaints with the food but that s nothing that the nursing staff is able to fix on their side. Would recommend this facility due to the CNA and nurses alone.

My brother was in there for a month or so and I must say he got excellent care from more then one nurse, the one nurse who took the most care of him was a nurse Amalia, and Nurse Bobby he liked them so much!! He was having a hard time eating and they switched up food so he would eat, the physical therapy was awesome also, so thank you SH for all your great care!!

My grandmother was there for 2 months for rehab. It was great. She loved her stay and was very sad to go. Matthew had contact with me several times a week and kept me informed on what was going on. Grandma enjoyed the staff. They really spoiled her. Matthew still emails me to check on grandma. I would highly recommend !!!!

My dad went in for rehab. They make patient set in chair for 10 hour a day, they keep him drugged. ,they don t give him pain pills. This place is horrible.

My best friend was transferred to this facility and I was alarmed at what I witnessed. My friend had a massive stroke 1 month ago and they put her in a wheelchair and let her "roam" (as the nurse said) the halls. She has a wrist band that says "fall risk". No one is watching her and there is no alarm connected to her chair should she try and get out. This is an accident waiting to happen. I would not recommend this facility. I am afraid for my friend. God keep her safe.

My wife was admitted recently and I was in denial. I thought the staff could work miracles and I thought I would be bringing her home, walking by my side, but I was very unrealistic. I was tough on the staff and yet they cared for my wife and me, lovingly and with the utmost respect, until the day she passed. Thank you all at Spring Hill Health and rehab for making our last days together the best they could be.

It's a good place, as long as you go visit and keep in daily contact with your loved one. If they know someone is watching they take very good care of patients. Therapy people are a little rough around the edges but remember they do this all day, they have to tune out some of the moaning or they would lose their minds. Always clean. They have a cute monthly calendar showing all the activities to participate in, every week day!!! That's my favorite! They have a nice large garden area and even some cockatiels to visit. It's almost across the street from the new grocery store Aldi's. Just don't dump your loved one off and never visit!! Be kind to the staff, it's a heartbreaking job I personally could never do.

Awful , please don't put your loved one here. My father went several days without be given his medication which he takes for a bad heart. He rings the buzzer and has waited over an hour for a response. Was having chest pain and it took them an hour and half to get him his nitro. Also they do minimal therapy 15 min one day none the next. That's why he is there is for therapy. We were do concerned. We were afraid my dad was going to pass away in their care. My mom felt like she had to stay there all day to be sure he was ok.
And the food is awful . The patients there refuse to eat it. We had to bring my dad food from home .
Really disappointed in this care facility.

My experience from this place is the "bad things" I hear are the things my mom tells me to try to get me to take her home and the stories her and her roommate tell us to see what kind of reaction we give. I know these places are not ideal and they are not perfect nor is the staff but our loved ones are safer here than if they were home alone far away from us, at least in my situation. The staff I have personally encountered have been wonderful and my mother is being treated well and is being cared for. She is warm and has food. I visit her every day and she only complains when she does something she isn't supposed to be doing and gets caught or falls! Other than that shes just bored! All in all, it's not that bad!

Update...

Even after my mother's passing in January my opinion of this place does not change. They were very attentive to my mom and to my needs. Especially for a place that is short staffed. They are human after all! Trish the unit manager is so caring and personable I dont know how I got through it without her! Thank you everyone for everything during our difficult time.

We placed my father there who at that time was nearing the end of his life. The staff and nurses were very caring and sensitive to the needs of my father and our family. We especially appreciated two Nursing staff members, Heather and Susan, who were not only compassionate to my father as he passed but also to my family and I.

This place needs to investigated... don t send your loved ones here unless you want them neglected & close to death before they contact you. We ve been waiting on a call back for 6 weeks to get an appointment, never have gotten a call back - finally got a call back at 11:00 pm
On Tuesday that my brother was bad , had we not called an ambulance yesterday he surely would have died from dehydration & pure neglect - he s currently in ICU & on a vent & has sepsis - I urge everyone to call DCF & ask for an investigation be done into this place & get them shut down. If you re loved one is here get them out I d give them

My husband went to here for Rehab after a major stroke and left there by ambulance to the hospital ICU Daguerre to a bad bed sore that was very big, black & to the bone. Please run from this place as it is not fit for humans or anything. They waited too long to get my husband the care he needed. This is during Covid-19 and we weren t allowed in to see what was happening. Run don t Walk Away.

I volunteer there and my experience has been great. The staff work hard are caring and friendly. Brian P. is probably my favorite person working there because he goes above and beyond in so many ways that deserve more than a review

The worst and be careful what you sign when leaving or you will be charged for the lefr over medication that they give you at a ridiculous price

I would not recommend this facility to anyone EVER! They don't take care of their patients! My dad went there after having surgery for a fractured hip and ended up back to the hospital for a very serious infection by his groin area that needed to be cut out. This goes to show you they don't even bother cleaning (bathing) their patients!!! Please DO NOT send your loved ones here!! I wouldn't even give them 1 star but had to to make this post. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!!!

There are Words to describe how awful the place is, they place the patient in wheelchairs and then put there food in their rooms but the patient is near the nurses circle so there s no possible way for the patient to eat their food. When you question the staff They say the patient does not want to eat but the patient has dementia and needs to be helped with the eating.
My father was there for rehab when he left he left by ambulance was brought to Oak Hill Hospital where he passed away.
The Staff stated that they will understaffed and that my father needed a little more help then they had time for So a family member should remain there all day.
Then what is the purpose of the rehab. I don t need Excuses.
I called to see how my father was and they said he was fine and eating lunch at the same time my other phone rang and it was the hospital asking for me to come in because they had to put a central line in , how is he fine and there when he was at the Hospital?
Can we remove all the stars?
Anyone that needs rehab find somewhere else.

My mom needed rehab so the case worker at the hospital told us to call around and get a feel for where you might want her to go. We live in another state so we had to do this by phone. Spring Hill Health and Rehab was the second place we called and from the very first moment I spoke with Debbie in the admissions office I knew where we wanted my Mom. She was so attentive to our needs and her knowledge eased our minds about putting mom in rehab. She answered all of our questions in such a caring matter. We talked several minutes and she never rushed us off the phone. We didn't have to call anymore facilities because we knew where we wanted Mom to go. Mom was admitted there the next day. Mom was skeptical at first but was quickly reassured by all the smiling faces she came in contact with. I know my mom was a handful and she is a very grouchy person but she did get the best care here. She was very pleased with Jessica and Rebecca the Nurse in charge who talked with her with concerns and questions. To the administrator, you are doing an excellent job, please dont stop what you are doing. It was nice to see you walking around checking on everyone and greeting everyone you came in contact with. The facility also had no odor like most other nursing homes. If mom needs rehab again we will be back!! Thank you to all who took great care of her.

BEWARE ALL BAD REVIEWS ARE TRUE

If you have a loved one this is "NOT" the place to put them my mother was in acute care and was doing great and got transferred to Spring Hill Rehab for a total of 5 days and she was back in the hospital.

The first day I was there I went over her med list to verify that meds transferred with her from the Acute Care Facility and they were not giving her three of the meds one being Lasix 5 days later when she was transferred to the hospital I gave the hospital the same med list and Lasix still was not on it

I personally hit the call light the first day she was there it took 20 minutes the second day took 30 minutes for anybody to come in the room but I saw a ton of Staff walked by the room even looking.

My mom is on a cardiac cath and and diabetic diet they gave her nothing but salty food and regulated it with her insulin well after her meal.

To Mimi the 1 good nurse in my opinion you need to leave that place, you do not need to have your reputation ruined by such a bad establishment

Would not recommend this facility to anyone. Poor management, poor staffing. Leave patients in precarious situations out of reach from their nurse call switch. If patient able to call nurse then over 15 minutes to 30 minutes wait for any response.
Business office only concerned about reimbursement and not quality care.
CNA's are assigned patient care assistants and still can not get to their patient's needs.
RN's to busy and consider themselves above patient contact duties.
Nursing home residents are assigned a medical doctor whom does not even give regular reports to the patients primary doctor.
Very poor excuse of seniors care. Physical therapy minimally exist, and when they provide any rehab it's minimal just enough to document for Medicare reimbursement.
Please do not send your loved ones to this facility.
I am ashamed of the professionals working in this facility. I am a healthcare professional myself and have seen better care in an Emergency department.

This place nearly killed my mother! This place needs to be shut down.

My father was here and needed the nurse and had to call 911 to get someone to his room. Pathetic staff. Go over to Brooksville instead.

I do not recommend this rehab facility. I can not speak to the care given as I was kept in the dark concerning my Mother s care. I am 3000 miles away, so was unable to check on her except by phone. Although their spiel over the phone while on hold states they are in communication with the family, this is untrue. My Mom was admitted for a short-term stay. They had me pay up front for a two week stay although they were told I didn t know how long she would stay, perhaps longer or shorter, depending on the healing of her leg. After payment was received, the communication stopped. I received one returned phone call from wound care who said she was progressing. All other calls were not returned, even a call to the Manager was ignored. My email was ignored also. She was eligible to come home after the bandages were off. It was Mom who told me the bandages were off, not the Rehab center. They kept her several more days without communication to me. The head nurse from Mom s assisted living home intervened; they took her calls and she told them to call me, but they didn t. They took Mom s doctor s call and told his office that she was not scheduled to go home until the first of the month. That was the date that they made me pay to in advance. I feel they kept her several days longer than necessary for the money. As of today, I haven t received the refund of the last day that she didn t stay. Don t use this facility if you are pro-active with the care of your love one. They do not have a good rating. Please read all the comments made by others also.

When my family and I had to look for a rehab for my dad we were having a really hard time. The case manager at Oak Hill gave us a list to go and look at the rehabs in the area. Well we didn't like any of the rehabs that were on the list. I did a little research and found Spring Hill Health and Rehab. (Not sure why they weren't on the list and when I asked the case manager she didn't answer me.) I read all the reviews on here about them and their competitors. Good and bad for everyone so I prayed and my family and I chose Spring Hill Health & Rehab. We were so shocked by the care that was given to my dad. Not only my dad but his roommate and you can even see how the others were treated as well. We were very surprised by the management that works on the weekends. Also a presence from every department. When I needed Social Services on the weekend, Kathleen was there. I had a question for business office and the lady was there. They even had someone from their admissions department on the weekends. Although to be honest I would rather work with the lady in admissions than the gentlemen there. But that is my preference. And can I add that I even saw the administrator answer call lights while he was walking the hall which we saw him several times a day checking on everyone. He even came in and helped by dad one day when his light was on. Yes, sometimes it would take a little longer for his call light to be answered but we also know that they have other patients too. The food, well it isn't home cooking but they try. We did have some issues but when we spoke to management they listened and worked with us to get them resolved. What more could you ask for? We would definitely recommend this place. It is clean and it is so refreshing to have a receptionist greet you when you arrive. Bill always has a smile and I would see so many people stop and talk to him and even though he would be busy answering phones he always had a smile for them and would listen. My mom would look forward to seeing him when she came in the evening. Thank you for all your hard work.

This is now referred to, by me and anyone who I know, as Spring Hill Health and NIGHTMARE!! My mother was verbally abused by a Physical Therapist there, and I was told she was fired on the spot, but found out, when I talked with the state agency ACHA, that was a lie. My mother was abused and neglected by the rest of the staff except for a tech named Too, who went above and beyond for my mother.
Even after NUMEROUS requests to speak to administration or the director, no one has yet to even give me a phone call. The last encounter there was with a nurse, who refused to give her name, but told me "I am not her nurse", when I was telling her my mother had severe abdominal pain. I told her I was going to call 911 if she didn't do something, and her response was "do what you gotta do". She would have died in there if I didn't 911 her out of there. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. This is a FOR PROFIT business, and you can certainly tell they are trying to cut corners and save a buck. Every doctor and everyone at Oak Hill hospital agreed that this place is the worst of the worst, and NONE of them would send a loved one there. I will be following up with a report and complaint to the state agency ACHA and possibly an attorney, I agree with another reviewer, god help you if its nights, weekends or change of shift time. I am sure I will get a cut and paste response for me to call a management number, there is no such thing, I asked to speak to someone in management numerous times while there, and there is no one that responded.

Within the first 24 hours at this facility my mother supposedly fell had a black eye , had all her personal items slowly disappear bc I was unaware that they didn't put them in a safe like hospitals do... When I arrived to visit they didn't explain why or how she was transferred there from the hospital in Newport richie. I'm filling a complaint in the morning highly disgusted with how they've been handling my mother.
