New Port Richey Police Dept Review

I called to let them know that there were juveniles

Great guy's and gals, just don't get stopped in their area

Called to find out when officer McConnell stopped working there.
I was asking because he was lead on my brothers death.
Dispatcher and Sargent in charge would not tell me
Stated I had to drive to newport richey and fill out a form in person
Sargent would not get on Phone.
Worthless lazy department.
Hope they loose someone and get treated bad.
Been 10 weeks no answers
Oh and lead officer just doesnt work there anymore
Would not be so upset but it public records open to anyone

Tried to report a lost/stolen wallet to protect myself in the event of Identity theft. They were extremely unhelpful and seems uninterested. I'm sorry last one checked, my tax dollars pay a good chunk of their salaries. Protect and SERVE, my ass!

I waited over an hour and a half to give an affidavit, when the policeman came out to take it, he said he had just gotten the word that I was there 10 minutes ago. So many more issues I'm not even going to go into.

Great police department staffed with honorable, polite & respectful officers.

New Port Richey police are not well trained enough to police properly.they arrested paul Horton who was charged with felony assault withknife and went atter three people at high Points in newpoNew Richey FL.on Sept 24.4 days of later he was out again and the stupid district attorney dismissed thrcase without even reading our complaint forms filed with the police.

That like to pull people over for anything so that can hand out tickets and if you don't live in this city you my be lucky and get 2+ tickets I got pulled over in Grand blvd and golf Dr 2 time this year and long just because I was drive through to get home from my buisness that I just opened in the border off port richey and new port richey first time I got 2 tickets i think it had to do with me have in a hoode jacket on.thats why i got this one was for a seat belt that I had on and speed when I was doing 35 on 30 and when I asked the cup if he had and proffers of me speed he's answer as that he had his eyes that was good enough for me and he slam my truck and to day I got a taillight lens was a little cracked from the inside that I had no idea of it I got a 114 dollars ticket this is what I mean

I worked there from 1974 to 1975 when the Police Department was on Grand Blvd. What a difference time can make. Beautiful Police Department and excellent Officers.

They really need to realize they work for the people and we pay there checks

The officer they sent when I was the victim of theft, went above and beyond by staying until my issue was resolved.

When law enforcement abuses takes away your rights then their rights are taken away

Probably a good department. But, after requesting more monitoring of speed on grand blvd south of town and nothing being done- might as well take down the 30 mph speed signs because that's a joke!! No one goes that speed. A few tickets might help. I know you all have a lot on your plate, but a few tickets may get the word out you are at least watching. It will be too late when someone gets plowed down off the sidewalk cause someone driving over 30 mph hit and kills them. Thanks.

WORST DISPATCHER EVER!!!!! If you like be yelled at and belittled well call this city. Unbelievable, people shooting off fireworks hitting our boat, out neighbors, and our jet skii's but I guess it was more important to yell at me!!! REALLY!!

Did a well-being check very professionally. Pleasure to deal with.

Weak bunch of lazy ineffective personnel. Called them for help with a roommate who was having a psychotic episode,which was all recorded on video. They didn't look at the video,or our lease. Instead they illegally displaced us! Now we're fing homeless! I hope they burn in hell for what they do to people,not just us. Sergeant Ingles needs to resign or work mall security. I hope we eventually meet face to face so I can express myself honestly to his disgusting face. I'm being very reserved right now but I'm very disappointed and let down. I can't believe I was born here...smh.

Apparently the New Port Richey Police are doing nothing with the obviously inebriated bums walking around downtown. One drugged out woman accosted my daughter, grabbed her arm, but yet will be able to walk the street free and clear. Clean up our streets! It's gotten to the point where you can't even feel safe walking downtown in broad daylight anymore.

Horrible. Like a mob. I called them and i was arrested!!! I was taken in jail and never even received food for 20 hours even when I left I still never got food! I never even got a phone call! The rights my family fought for me to have! My rights violated. Never received a phone call!! or food!! And this was before I even had court so I wasn't found innocent or guilty yet! Meanwhile my face is plastered all over the internet when I wasn't found guilty now!

I waited patiently in the parking lot of the NPR Police Department this morning for an officer to answer my non emergency call to only have not one but two of the most wonderful police officers answerd all my questions & looked into my complaint & concerns.
Officer Burbridge & I'm sorry but I didn't get the other officers name were amazing they both
treated me with the utmost respect & kindness. I must also give thanks to the beautiful dispatcher who answered the phone & took down all my information.
Thank you NPR Police Dept for keeping our streets safe & may God continue to watch over all of you & keep you out of harm's way.

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me and their patrol vehicles are incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure. jk

This is an awesome school all three of my children have gone there love this teachers and all of the staff

I ve had too many horrific experiences to count with this police department.

I wish I was able to give zero calls because that's what they did for me.... Nothing! I called them because my roommate was screaming and acting nuts. I had video to prove why I needed their help. When they showed up they went directly to my roommate and NEVER spoke to me. It was my safety in jeopardy! Then they told my husband and I we had to leave immediately. We told them we had a written lease with us on it, legally binding documents. They said it didn't "look" legal and they could trespass us to get us out of there. (Completely illegal BTW) We now have legal backing from an attorney in Tampa. Our attorney has confirmed that they we're wrong and said it was unlawful eviction. I won't ever call these guys again for help.
