I do not recommend this rehab facility. I can not speak to the care given as I was kept in the dark concerning my Mother s care. I am 3000 miles away, so was unable to check on her except by phone. Although their spiel over the phone while on hold states they are in communication with the family, this is untrue. My Mom was admitted for a short-term stay. They had me pay up front for a two week stay although they were told I didn t know how long she would stay, perhaps longer or shorter, depending on the healing of her leg. After payment was received, the communication stopped. I received one returned phone call from wound care who said she was progressing. All other calls were not returned, even a call to the Manager was ignored. My email was ignored also. She was eligible to come home after the bandages were off. It was Mom who told me the bandages were off, not the Rehab center. They kept her several more days without communication to me. The head nurse from Mom s assisted living home intervened; they took her calls and she told them to call me, but they didn t. They took Mom s doctor s call and told his office that she was not scheduled to go home until the first of the month. That was the date that they made me pay to in advance. I feel they kept her several days longer than necessary for the money. As of today, I haven t received the refund of the last day that she didn t stay. Don t use this facility if you are pro-active with the care of your love one. They do not have a good rating. Please read all the comments made by others also.
