The folks at the service area were very pleasant and the recall on my truck was done promptly and correctly. Thank you!!
The folks at the service area were very pleasant and the recall on my truck was done promptly and correctly. Thank you!!
Fixed car on time and Matt was wonderful to work with
I had issues but Bobby Wallace and Ted Belk took care of me. I was ready to give up on n them but they made things right. I absolutely recommend them. If you have issues they want to make them right. Thank you so much Bobby and Ted. I am very grateful for your help.
Service writer does job to spec and above. Diagnosis leaves everything to be desired. Car was in shop a month for random shutting off issue and suspension/alignment/drive ability issues that have not been resolved in 3-5 years. Said alignment was perfect and all suspension
parts checked out in good condition. Picked car up and returned it less than 24 hrs later for exact same problems. Shut several times and pulled to the right and had different steering characteristics depending on previous maneuvers. It was there a week and I went to get tools I had left in the car and asked about it s status. They said they drive it many many times and never shut off and alignment was dead on. Took it home and immediately knew alignment was very off. Then shut off several times. Issue not resolved. Not good.
I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Rick Hendrick Dodge's service department. I came in originally to have a simple repair on my brakes, which turned into an ordeal. First off, I was told I had an appointment at 7:30am, and upon my arrival I was told my vehicle probably wouldn't be looked at until 2-3pm. Due to their lack of communication and oversight of my appointment, they ordered a part that I needed past a certain time of the day, making them unable to get it shipped in a timely fashion. On top of that, because of the holidays and them closing for two days, they were unable to repair my vehicle in a timely fashion. What would've taken 24 hours to get the part delivered and repair the car, took over a week. I was without my car over the holidays and had to spend $300+ on a rental car due to their negligence. Upon picking my car up, the upholstery in the car had been tampered with (which has nothing to due with the brake system). A very polite manager met with me and took a look at it, apologized and promised to have it repaired and that he would take the cost of the repairs. He told me to call him the next morning. I did so, and low and behold, he "no longer works for the company". I was then transferred to many different employees who would "help me out". After about a two week game of phone tag, countless emails, and more, I was finally able to speak to someone about the repairs. Harry Evans was very polite and wanted to help me. He told me if I brought my car in to get fixed on Friday, he could have it finished over the weekend. Well, 5 days went by and he finally called to tell me that they were unable to repair it themselves and they would have to outsource help. Why did it take five day to figure that out and call me? Keep in mind, I was still without a vehicle for all of this time, but since they were willing to pay for the repairs, I remained patient. I received a call the next day only to be told that they could not repair it and if I would like to have it fixed, I would have to pay the charges. Safe to say, I was extremely upset that I had left my car with them for this long only to be told that I would be paying for the damages that occurred while my car was on their lot. I consider myself a very kind and patient person, but this is absurd and should not be tolerated. I am still waiting to hear from a supervisor, but I am assuming if their behavior is like the rest of the employees, that it will be awhile until I hear back. You're better off going to a local service company, don't waste your time here.
Exceptional service, staff went above and beyond. My wife and I had been looking at buying a new SUV for several months, and had dealt with some poor experiences at other dealerships. First time we stopped by we were greeted by Jay Gill and his manager Jon Taylor. Both were extremely friendly and accommodating. Jay took us out to test drive multiple vehicles. When we left we did not feel any pressure, and both Jay and Jon made themselves available to answer questions we had via text and email over the next several weeks. When we returned to purchase the vehicle we had decided on, the experience was equally as pleasant. This time we also met with the general manager Bobby and finance manager Joel. All four guys were extremely friendly and walked us through the process efficiently and in great detail (despite it being a very busy day at the dealership). Overall our experience was fantastic, and we will definitely be recommending Hendrick Jeep to family and friends.
All staff encountered- sales, management, finance, - were all courteous and helpful. A seamless sale without incident. I would recommend Rick Hendrick.
The service department was top notch. Harry is my Service go to man. He takes great care of my service needs, and is always willing to go above and beyond. I drop my car off in the service lane, go to lunch, and when I return Harry has my keys and my bill ready to go. I know my care is well taken care of at Rick Hendrick Dodge.
I signed my life away and purchased a new vehicle. Nevertheless, my experience at Rick Hendrick was great. Cedric Toomer, Serena, and Aubrey provided me with great service and smiling faces. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle the meets your needs and price range...GO SEE THEM! You won't be disappointed.
They undervalued my car by ~5K and overvalued their car by ~3-4K compared to other used cars of the same make/model. They wouldn't move on either bad price. Tried to screw me out of ~8K so I walked out. I wouldn't waste my time buying used from them.
A wide variety of vehicles with great customer service
Gabriel did an amazing job helping me out! I highly recommend this place.
Sorry stupid Google. This post was originally for the Rivers Ave location. Dodge on Rivers Ave is a joke. Don't go to Rick Hendrick on Rivers Ave. Drive to West Ashley or Summerville or Moncks Corner.
Gabe in the Service Dept has been a consistent professional..! He is an asset to Hendrick Jeep in Charleston...!
The employees were friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the Jeep I was interested in.
No pressure... I actually aproached a salesman before one approached me. Maybe I'm the only one that prefers it, but I do enjoy shopping in my own before a salesman gets involved. Regardless, the general demeanor of the staff seemed focused on my comfort through the entire experience. I chose to purchase a used vehicle with no pressure from the salesman other than to make me aware of differences between the new and used model. The dealership replaced a tire for me when I called them regarding a nail I found after the sale and one minor cosmetic issue I had initially not seen both have been no hassle experiences with the service department.
Tl;Dr- I may not shop for a vehicle anywhere else in Charleston... Ever.
We highly recommend Rick Hendrick. They take what could be a stressful situation of buying a car and create a professional and easy car buying experience. We bought two vehicles because of our amazing saleswoman, Brittany Fraiser. She made us feel so comfortable and gave us all the information we needed. Very impressed.
Gabriel and the service team continue to do quality work, on time and as quoted. Gabriel is a good communicator. All reasons why I return.
Christian our Sales Consultant and Serena in Finance were fantastic. No pressure, low key approach to finding the right vehicle for us and being extremely respectful of our time. No kidding, it was a nice surprise and one of our est car buying experiences ever. Thanks RHDCJ!!
Adam Mastinelli worked very heard to find me the right fit for a new vehicle. I am overall VERY happy with the result of all his hard work. They were never pushy and found me just what I was looking for. I now have a 2013 Dodge Avenger SE sitting in my driveway when just a week ago I didn't think it was even possible for me to be able to get new.
I want to thank Adam and everyone else that put the deal together. Made me very happy.
I purchased my truck in October of 2017 and Justin was my rep. He was great and I had a super easy experience. NO BS!! That is until I got to the finance department and the gentlemen there would not take no for an answer. However, there was no way I was going to give in. That part of the process was very annoying.
I recently took my vehicle back to have 2 recalls addressed. Cliff was the service adviser and was great from start to finish. He even walked me out to my vehicle to show me where it was parked which I felt he didn't have to do. I used the complimentary shuttle service and the driver was not only very friendly, but also communicated well which helped me know when he was coming to pick me up.
Overall, a much better experience at a car dealership than some other local places.
Everytime I walk into Rick Hendrick service department, I am greeted with a smile from Gabe and Jenna. I usually see Katie Hartley as well. I'm treated with respect and greeted like a friend. Gabe is very honest with me, very transparent as to what is going on with my Jeep. Gabe, Katie, Jenna are all assets to your company.
Will not accept apointments for oil changes. Not good
After I installed my winch, I needed to have some coil spring spacers by TeraFlex to raise the front end of my jeep by 1.25 inches. Although this was a custom job, the Service Department was more than willing to assist me. Whit (Service Manger) and Mike (Technician) went through great strides to ensure that the job was done right and that I was happy with the work. I highly recommend them and will bring my vehicle there for service again in the future! Thanks!!!
Best service team around! Polite and helpful and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Very happy with the way they do business!
I brought in my Dodge Charger for service where AJ took GREAT care of me! He kept me updated on my vehicle the whole time it was there while I was at work. He is very personable, I suggest AJ as an advisor to anyone wanting EXCELLENT customer service!
Another stellar experience with the Service Department
You can purchase a vehicle anywhere, but when you need a outstanding and dependable service, Travis and team are who you want. No matter what the issue, this team always finds a way to make things happen and go the extra mile. I was recently in for a tire change and not only did they fix the tire issue, make sure i was in and out quickly, but they also washed my vehicle....who else does that?? Stellar service advisors like Claudio make these experiences exceptional every time. Thanks team, I will be back!
I received excellent service and was treated great!
Wonderful place I have bought 2 cars here and my family has too.. they actually seek out the best deals so that you are happy.. if you go ask for Phil best salesman in the Carolinas!!!
Got me in and out for an oil change and tire rotation within an hour! I did not have an appointment.
I scheduled a service appointment for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler online. I had an appointment to have my vehicle serviced (made a week in advance). The vehicle was dropped off the night before (Thursday) because the appointment time was 7:45am the following day and I wanted to ensure I would be on time. On the appointment day (at 11:40 am) I called for a status update as no one called to verify they had my vehicle or verify the things that would be done. I was told that the vehicle is being looked at and that I would receive a call for a follow-up as the check engine light was on and no one was certain as to why. I was told by Ted (my advisor) that the technician and the engineers were communicating a solution. I would assumed that the end of the day would not befall me and that Ted would have called back with an update prior to leaving to ensure that it was ok to keep my vehicle. I did not receive a call from anyone. Instead the day ended and no one called to ask if it was proper or convenient for me to have my vehicle stay over night to continue service. By the time I got around to check on the vehicle the service department was closed. I considered this very unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. I phoned in the following day (Saturday) and was told my service advisor was not in and that my vehicle had not been pulled in to be looked at. I was beyond frustrated. What is the purpose of making an appointment? I advised the person that this was the poorest service received to date and that I would be en route to pick up my vehicle and to have it ready and to please have the manager aware. Upon picking up my vehicle I was informed the manager left. My vehicle was not pulled around and I was handed my keys and was advised to go get my vehicle. I can not begin to explain the irritation and frustration I was feeling at this point. There was no ownership, apologizing or care displayed by anyone. I politely asked the advisor on duty to get my vehicle. I waited one week to see if someone would have called to own up to their mistake and make right out of the situation and no one did. This department is deplorable.
I cold called a salesman (Todd Salzer) and told him I was interested in buying a truck they had on the lot. I also told him that I lived out of state and would be in Charleston the following week while my father had surgery in the hospital. Todd answered my quick questions I had on the phone and said that he would see me when time allowed after taking care of my dad. I fully expected to get hounded by him to get me into the dealership so he could make money off of me. Todd respected my situation and NEVER CALLED, EMAILED, OR TEXTED me. This may not seem like much, but it really meant a lot.
Once I made my way to the dealership I met Todd and he asked about my dad before we started talking business. We looked at the trucks and I got the one I was looking for. Once we started with the "price game", I was shown a price that I thought was too high (they are a business and businesses are there to make money, so I don't blame them at all for that initial price point). I told Todd the price was too high and he talked with the manager (just like normal). I figured they'd come back offering a couple hundred less, but instead they went straight to the price I told him I thought the truck was worth (I did my research just like anybody buying anything should). I didn't even have to play the "haggle game"!
Bottom line: I was EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience and anyone going there for a vehicle should talk to Todd Salzer!
Just bought my 2nd car here in 2 years. Last time I traded in and this time I was buying a second car for my fiance and I. Nick Long helped me both times and he is amazing. Everyone worked with us to get the best deal and in our budget. Definitely plan on going here every time and would send everyone there!
I just bought a jeep wrangler sahara..love it and had a great experience there!
Thanks!
Brittany Frasier was awesome!! She was very informative and helped handle our problems quickly.
Great experience, Gabe in service was very helpful and professional!
Had a terrific experience at Rick Hendrick Jeep. They made my purchase very easy and smooth. Ken Appel was a very caring salesman. I would buy from them again.
dealt with nick long who was very easy to work with and accessible. he did everything in his power to make sure we were satisfied. never felt pressured at all which is important when dealing with car salesmen and big purchases. would def contact him again for future sales
Never thought buying a used car would be so easy. Tony Kemp made it so. He found exactly what I needed. Thank you Tony for everything you have done!! In the future, whenever I need a new car, I will buy from Hendrick with you as my sales person.
Mark was incredibly helpful and took great care of me. Service was fast, great overall experience
STOP NOW AND TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE FOR SERVICE!
After my 4th horrific experience with the Service Department here, it is time to find a new service department that values its customers, communicates well, and manages expectations. This is the WORST service department I have ever experienced in my life (many cars across multiple states and dealers for service). They do not communicate with customers to let you know what is going on with your repair, and it is almost impossible at times just to speak to someone in the service department. These deficiencies have created tremendous inconvenience to me, my family and friends. I supposed I should bear some responsibility for continuing to go back after multiple similar experiences. I will be traveling the extra distance to the North Charleston location as they seem to have at least a reasonable idea of how to treat their customers and actually service vehicles.
It is shocking considering how busy they seem to be that customers continue to patronize this location. From the number of 1 star ratings, they clearly have some systemic problems with how they conduct themselves and treat customers.
Today I left my car for a same day repair (as verified with a service representative at drop off this morning), and I started calling and leaving messages at around 4pm to check the status. After being in hold cycles, my friend (who was planning on giving me a ride to pickup my car), was able to speak to the general manager of the dealership, who was finally able to get someone on the phone after almost 2 hours. At 6pm, after the time I had a ride to the dealer and I had to pick up my children, the service manager finally offered to bring me a loaner car (which I had requested earlier), but I would have to fax him my license and insurance information, which was not possible as I had left work.
This is the last straw after similar occurrences for all my service attempts at Rick Hendrick Jeep. As a side note, they also forgot to tighten my drain plug and I was stranded far from home with a car with no oil late at night earlier this year.
I encourage all of you to seek service elsewhere, unless you do not care about being treated well, communicated with, being on hold for hours, or getting your car back in a reasonable timeframe.
I needed my dodge serviced as a check transmission signal was coming on. I was told today (Sept 14th) that they could set me up for an appt for Sept 30th or I could drop it off and they might be able to work it in by Wednesday (today is Monday). so if you are looking for service, Rick Hendrick is not the place. I never had this kind of lack of service at Ford. So, my suggestion - BUY A FORD, they have service at Summerville Ford and Jones Ford that is outstanding.
Brought my girlfriend's Minivan in for A/C leaking it's 134a charge. The system has been leaking gas over 6 times with the frequency being shorter each time. Brought it in to this dealership and explained fully the problem and they said they would fix it. After a bill you would expect from a dealership and the minivan repaired they said they charged the system but could not find the leak? REALLY? Then they said if it leaks down they will charge $140.00 to look at it again! Well the 134a lasted three weeks! Anyone can go to a parts store and get the 134a and charge their system for a few dollars. And it looks like they do that too! So if you have A/C problems take it to a place that can fix it the first time and stand behind their work. I am very disappointed in their business practices and work ethic.
Could not have asked for a better car buying experience with Christian Englert. I went in thinking what I wanted was a total long shot, but not only did Christian make it happen, I got an even better deal than I expected. Thank you, Christian for your patience, knowledge and kindness! Love my new car for my family!
I feel bad for Tony who is an excellent salesperson. The sale was ensured if the lease numbers were comparable to other Jeep dealers, but the Sales Prevention Manager's financing proposal added $4k (12%) above the MSRP in fees and his lease payments were 40% higher!! I Dodged a bullet with these guys and will never return.
I have a new car! Not just a pretty new car, but a brand new car. Thanks to Ashley Otto. She is a great Sales Consultant and after a couple of tries, she showed me a car I love. Along with Ms Serena (hey girl, heeeey), they helped me make a decision that was best for me. If you're in the market for a Dodge or Jeep. I suggest you go see Ashley and Serena as a finance manager is as honest and straightforward as she can be. They're both SUPER AWESOME! Thanks y'all
Jonathan Karampelas was fantastic to work with and he got me in one sweet 2021 Ram Rebel!
Every oil change I am greeted with a smile. Always a great experience there. Tyler was most gracious and polite, even offering to pull the car up so I didn t have to go out in the rain!
Bought a certified used car. Turned out it had a water leak. Went back to salesman right away and windshield was fixed. Still leaked so went back to salesman. Got no help from him. Went to service. They were stumped but did not give up until problem was fixed. Cliff was great. He always kept me updated. Not your regular service problem. Five stars is for service department.
I bought my 2012 Jeep Compass from Rick Hendrick Dodge on Hwy 17 in Charleston, SC and had a great experience! Nick Long helped me decide on a great vehicle that fit my price range. He worked hard to get me the best deal possible. I will be buying another Jeep from them SOON! :)
Great experience! Matt from the service team went above and beyond to help me get back on the road asap. Thanks guys!
Would not go back. I was getting 2 to 3 calls a day even after I told them I wanted them to stop calling.
Brittany Fraiser is an amazing saleswomen. She was patient, kind and informative. I was so impressed that we bought both my husband and I vehicles! Overall, we are very happy and highly recommended Rick Hendrick. GO See Brittany!
Mark was a fantastic service technician that took care of me from start to finish.
Greatest car buying experience I ve ever had! Todd and Brandon were awesome! Got me a great price and a great rate! Definitely would recommend them and would buy from them in the future !
We had a team of two salesmen working with us and they were fantastic. One of the guys was a new salesman and the other one pitched in to help him and was able to explain all the features to us. They even took the time to show us how to remove the soft top and put it back on several times to be sure we knew how to do it. We love our jeep and will definitely go back to this dealership when its time for our next car!
bought my challenger from Kyle McMillan, awesome dude! made sure the whole car buying dance went smooth. if your in the market for a dodge go see Kyle!
DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Worst customer service in the Rick Hendrick dealer family in Charleston. Took my Durango in for a warranty replacement part and the technician broke a iner panel. They didn't make any notes on the receipt notes nor attempted to notify me, when i got my keys. It took for me to go outside inspect the work and come back into the office to report the damage, when the service advisor sees me he automatically tells me that the mechanic had just notify him of the broken panel and a replacement part is on order. How ever I feel like if I had never came in and instead headed home without inspecting the work they would denied any wrong doing and replacement would had been on me..... (What a great way to do business) My advise is if your are in the market for a new Dodge go to Rivers Ave store.
Mark at Rick Hendrick service did a great job at resolving a paper issue with the original purchase of the vechicle that was preventing the warrantee from being hornored, I am sure with great expense to his time he was successful. I
I thank him very much.
Brittany Fraiser did a wonderful job. She was able to locate the second key fob for the vehicle I was purchasing. As an out of state purchaser, she helped with the entire transaction, and made it perfect. A great asset to the Hendrick organization.
High marks for the team @ Rick Hendrick on Savannah Hwy. Although, it took 5 hrs to get the deal closed and done, Deb & I were very happy with the outcome. We brought our snacks because we knew it was going to be that kind of day. Snookie was ready to get home, he was tuckered out. Kudos to Mr. Richard Hill, he hung in there. Isiah White knows what I like and has sold me 4 vehicles in the past.
My latest experience with Rick Hendrick had been very nice. Matt Johnson was my service advisor and he handled everything very quickly and professionally. He kept me updated on any possible changes and acknowledged my request to have a loaner car while they worked on mine. They found what the issues were and let me know immediately so I could move forward on it. He reminded me that my 10000 mile service was coming up and told me what I could put off until then. Many options and information and the communication is what made this a great experience. I will definitely be returning to this service center for any concerns I have.
I highly recommend this dealership. They are informative, don't use pressure sales tactics, and overall are very friendly, professional, and provide great deals. They will work with you to make sure your payments, percent apr, and all other details are the best they can be.
I personally worked with the Sales Consultant Christian Englert, and Jon the finance manager. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend you work with these two gentlemen. They were very considerate about my trade-in, even when the engine is non-functional. I'm sure they will give you a great offer as well!
If you're looking for a new or used car in the area for a great price, check out their online inventory, since it's always up to date. I am not getting any benefits or money for promoting the Rick Hendrick Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealership, other than knowing that I might be helping someone make a decision to work with them in the future.
The level of customer service received from the service department team was high specifically, Lois and Al. I'm satisfied with the repairs/pricing and will return for all of my vehicle repairs.
Excellent Service! Lois in Service Department was excellent! Thank You
I was able to get out of my lease and into a brand new 2019 charger with no money down. Justin was great in making that possible and continuing to work with me to accommodate my needs. Will definitely recommend him to anyone.
No waiting...drove right in and met expediter, Blair. She was quick, efficient, and cheerful both when I dropped the truck off and when I picked it up. All in all, a pleasant experience, especially compared to some service outfits.
Took our vehicle in for an oil change/tire rotation/suspension recall. Gabe in the service department was friendly and helpful. Service was extremely quick and got me in and out in under an hour.
Isiah white was absolutely amazing! He worked tirelessly to make sure I got a great and reliable car! I appreciate all of his hard work and I love the purchase I made! Make sure to ask for him!!!!!!! He will not disappoint you!
Two words: Ted Belk. He has made my experience with Rick Hendrick Jeep some of the best, easiest, and most flawless car expieriences I have every had. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and my car. It was under factory warranty, they didn t make a dime from me. He kept me updated every day letting me know the status of my car, got it detailed FOR FREE without me asking him to, and got out scratches on my passenger side that were caused by another car. He did not have to do any of those things. ASK FOR TED BELK when you go to get your Jeep serviced. I m a 25 year old female and have normally felt very taken advantage of when it comes to anything to do with my car. This was the first time I felt treated right. I will forever recommend RickHendrick service department to someone solely because of him.
Impeccable service and great communication throughout the process from Ashley, my service advisor. My Jeep went in for a relatively serious mechanical repair and they had me back on the road in less than 36 hours! I will continue to purchase my vehicles from Hendrick because of this experience and plan to spread the word to friends and family.
Katie did great gave Pat a great deal it was a good experience all the way around did not take long and he got all the truck he wanted
Very accommodating and work with us to get exactly what we needed. Great people.
Friendly staff ... Gabriel is very customer focused and gives 5 Star service
We purchased our Power Wagon in 2013 and had several concerns regarding the brakes. Audrey (case manager) was the best in ensuring that our concerns were addressed. Although we inundated her with phone calls and, at times, a bit out of character, she never wavered with her customer service, which was exemplary.
Great, friendly, safe service! In and out in way less time than I was quoted!
Good quality, professional service and courteous customer care. In my opinion, charges were excessive, primarily due to a non-refundable "diagnostics fee" which cannot be applied so the actual service charges.
If I could give zero stars I would! I called this dealership on Monday September 16th at 6:30pm to check on the availability of a car on their lot. The sales rep said the car was on the lot, and they would have it ready for me to test drive on a Tuesday 9/17/19. I was unable to make it to charleston to the dealership due to a work issue so I called them on a Tuesday 9/17/19 at 11 am to let them know I was unable to make the scheduled test drive. They reassured me that the car was still on the lot and they would have it ready for me on Wednesday 9/18/19 to drive the car. So on a Wednesday morning I wake up to drive from Lexington SC to the dealership in Charleston. When I arrive they inform me that the car was sold Monday afternoon. I then. Asked what time was it sold on Monday and they said early afternoon, which meant before I called. Now this dealership knew the car was gone but still played me to think it was there. When I found out the news that it was sold two days ago and during the two times I called to inquire about the status of the vehicle the dealership decided to lie to me in order to just get me to there location. I had already told them on Monday that the only car I was interested in was the 2012 BMW X5 that I asked about. Needless to say this was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership in all my years. It will be the First and LAST time I wast my time with Rick Hendricks anything. Again they should get zero stars but I had to give one in order to rate them.
Dealing with the service department was abysmal. My car had two (small) issues, so I called to schedule an appointment. Was told the soonest appointment was 3 weeks out. I brought my car in at that time, checked in with my service adviser, and was told that they were too busy that day to check out my car. Brought it back a second time, left it there all day, and when I picked it up they told me they didn't have the parts but would call when they came in. They never called. Finally, after I called them, I brought my car in a third time. They fixed one issue but needed a few days to "investigate" the second. They returned my vehicle to me without fixing the second issue. The service adviser assigned to me (and the woman he forced me to talk to because he stopped returning my calls) were both unprofessional and clearly didn't communicate with each other.
Just the other day I brought my vehicle to another shop for a routine oil change and they diagnosed my second issue easily (they weren't even looking for a problem-the issue was just THAT obvious). Seriously, avoid this service department at all costs.
Horrible the sales lady couldn't answer the questions we asked her.
Worst car buying experience ever. Had an appointment at 545 with internet sales manager. Traffic was horrible, got there a little before 6 and he had left for the day. Started working with one salesperson and worked with him for about 30 minutes before he handed me off to someone else. They worked up pricing and started at 25,898 on the car, when the sticker inside the car said 23,670 and their internet pricing as 22,990. I also had email from internet sales manager for the 22,990. Then the did an appraisial of my car and offered me 7405 for 2009 car with less than 38,000 miles. When I added their figures on the appraisial amazingly there was a $340 mistake in the bottom line in their favor. So either their computer cannot add or someone messed with the numbers. To me very dishonest and I'm a prior customer of the dealership. Then the sales manager is the RUDEST person. His attitude is horrible and I do not know how he is the sales manager in a customer service industry. Needless to say I will NEVER return to this dealership even though I've bought from them previosly, after this experience.
I bought a truck back in August, and had a myriad of communications problems after I bought the truck (of course). I was promised that I would receive the spare key, which I never did. I tried every avenue of communications - I left voicemails, sent emails to the sales staff and finance, online chat - you name it. My title work also came in late, and I had the exact same problem getting in touch with the title department for 35 days after I bought the truck. They're real nice before you buy anything, but then, they disappear. There's another Dodge dealership in Charleston - take your business there.
My wife and I purchased a used 2008 BMW 650I from the Rick Hendrick Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in March 2020. We have been looking for an convertible car for an extra vehicle. We saw this vehicle on their web site and contacted the dealership. We live about 90 mins from the dealership and work a typical 9-5 job. When we contacted the dealership they were very accommodating and when we arrived it was about 1 hour before closing. We never felt rushed and we were impressed with the business manager that made the whole closing deal simple and efficient. We were surprised that since we purchased a used vehicle as a "As Is Warranty" that the dealership gave us a 30 day warranty after they inspected the vehicle in house and provided us a report. After we purchased the car on the way home the check engine light came on. The next day I contacted the dealership and spoke with the service dept they offered a scheduled appointment and we brought the car in for repairs. I was giving a loaner car. Zach was our service adviser and was great to communicate daily even it took 3 weeks to resolve this problem. They sent our car to their BMW dealership to have their BMW tech 's to make the repairs. They did a fantastic job resolving the problem without any question. My wife and I were very impressed the way the dealership handled this problem in such a professional matter. We had a great experience with this dealership and now enjoy your purchase.
Purchased a used BMW X3 that has been in and out of the shop. Had to take it to an independent to get the issues diagnosed who then told me that codes had been cleared regarding issues I had reported (from the dealer I assume). I know the vehicle was used, but I was told that it had been thoroughly inspected. How could I have so many issues if this was the case? Since purchase less than a year ago, I have had to replace a washer pump, ignition coils, transfer case actuator, rear main seal (at least covered under warranty), and now the brake powerbooster and crankcase pressure valve are bad. The last item was related to the rough idle I had repeatedly reported. If I had any confidence in Hendrick, I would just bring the vehicle and ask for a good trade value toward something else. I don't see this as an option since I have no idea what they would sell me if given another chance.
Service is expensive, but they get the job done in a timely and efficient, professional atmosphere...
Purchased a new 2019 Ram last week worked with Ken and Kay in sales, both were pleasure to work with. This is the third Ram purchased there and when time comes to buy #4 I will not hesitate in returning.
