My trainer Anthony C in particular, designed a program that improved my strength, muscle size and performance. His programming did not only limit to the 2 hours that I was in the gym each week. He wrote me programs outside of the gym which was tailored to the specific equipments that I had available to me which made my training effective and efficient.

RAW is a great place to train and get excellent advice about nutrition and strength and conditioning training. At my initial assessment both Jeremy and my coach Lou were keen to make sure that my program was specifically tailored to meet my basic goals. By following the nutrition plan and training hard with Lou I got great results and significantly lowered my weight and body fat. More than that I got fantastic tips and advice from Lou on how to perform exercises correctly to make sure that every set and every rep counts. Lou's enthusiasm, sense of humour and no BS approach combined with the great equipment and atmosphere at RAW meant that I looked forward to every session, even the dreaded conditioning day!
My experience at RAW has been a great one. RAW is clean and tidy gym with dedicated trainers to accompany you your training journey. I've been training with Anthony for over 36 sessions. While he doesn't simply tell you to do any movements during a session, he's very keen to explain the science behind knowledgeably and competently which add values to the training process.

RAW is by far the best gym in Hong Kong. I have been training with Jared for a little under half a year. He not only helps push me to my limits, but he also teaches you about the kind of muscles you work and tells you about the diet you should have to maintain a healthy body. You can pursue your physical goals quite fast at this gym, especially since they have a wide variety of different training equipment for use. I am very happy working out at this gym and I will continue to do so, especially since the environment and trainers are so friendly. Great gym and trainers. I've been training with Lou since last year. She's attentive, experienced and enthusiastic. The trainers adopt a methodical approach and all movements are recorded. If you stick to it, you will definitely see progress. The training philosophy is disciplined, meaning that you'll be sure to get a full body workout. This is just what I need for my busy schedule.

When my wife invited me to be trained by Anthony, I, being a Hong Kong senior citizen, was skeptical on the need and benefits to have training at this age.
The second target is to have cardio exercise regularly. Since then, I have these twice a week.
Four weeks training passed now, and I found the training useful and not dull at all especially with all the various training facilities and programs conducted in a decent environment. The other trainers around are also very friendly.
The most noticeable change so far is the better quality of my sleep, less sleepy during daytime.
The trainings let me understand that age is not an excuse for not conducting physical exercises. Keep going my fellow senior citizens.
My personal trainer is Anthony Chung. I had set out a few adventurous goals that I wanted to achieve by the end of the 12 week program, and Anthony was crucial in helping me achieve that - 2 WEEKS EARLY! Without his help, this certainly would not have been possible!!! He was attentive during the sessions, and was always alert to correct my posture when needed. He was also able to take into account my injuries and structure a programme that not only built my strength but also carried out rehab on my injuries. Not only a great trainer, but also a great bloke. 100% would recommend!!!!
RAW is a fantastic gym for the true athlete; catering to the individual's goals and objectives. I am an avid trail runner, but felt as I was getting older I needed to focus more on total body to stay injury free and in my best form. I recently completed my first set of sessions with great results and overall strength improvement, and have started the next phase. Anthony, my personal trainer, is a great coach, teacher, and motivator. Initially, he focused on nutrition and ensuring I used proper lifting techniques. He also, provided workouts for my run training to use when not in the gym. Now, we are beginning to increase weight and drive towards new levels of performance.
RAW is by far the best personal training gym in Hong Kong. I have been to several, but RAW has been the only gym that looks toward your future, maintainable goals without just pushing you to drop the most weight as fast possible. My trainer, James Honey, is also a saint (when I am not yelling at him:). He has not given up on me in all of my dips that I have experienced. When we travel, he helps us stay on track and creates goals to keep us improving. He is my sounding board when it comes to everything fitness and I am half way to my pre-baby weight and have lost 6kg since June 1st and 10kg since November 22 (when I started). It has been the most incredible journey so far, and I couldn't have done it without the support of James. Thank you for helping me get back to my pre-baby weight RAW!

Though I needed to strengthen my muscles while losing some body fat, I wasn't drawn to strength training initially. That changed when I met Annie; with her knowledge and experience, she explained to me how strength training with a qualified coach can help me to achieve my goals. Additionally, she coached me on nutrition by changing habits, and taught me the importance of eating whole, unprocessed foods.
She is very accommodating to my traveling schedule, and modifies my programs accordingly. Sometimes I dread the sessions knowing that they're tough, but deep down I am enjoying training at Raw very much!

My trainer is Sean Trevena and he is excellent. Training with him is actually enjoyable. He focuses on lifestyle change not quick fixes which for me ( a woman in my late 30's) feels like a healthy, hormone conscious and sustainable way to approach weight loss and fitness. Sean is experienced, knowledgeable about health and nutrition and attentive to movement in order to avoid injury.
I have achieved a meaningful lifestyle change after training at RAW for around 9 months. I'm a slow-burner, a late starter, the person who turned up and said to him, "i hate training." But incremental changes under Sean's guidance have brought results. At first, it was simply showing up to my sessions. Then small changes to diet here and there. And once I got both of these right (which took me a few months to personally adjust to change and get my head in the right place), I got serious, I listened and I found a rhythm of consistency. After only 4 weeks of following his healthy and sustainable nutritional advice and training consistently, I am literally a different person. I have dropped at least 1 full dress size (8 US down to 4/6 US), I feel comfortable in my body for the first time in several years, I have loads of energy and importantly, I feel motivated to continue. I am an inline speed skating athlete. I have started training in RAW almost a month and aims to increase sports performance. I trained with Anthony, who is very professional with his great sports science knowledge and can explain the training methods patiently and clearly.
As an important race took earlier than planned, Anthony created a race preparation program to help me increase my status in a very limited time. The program included inline speed skating training and relevance strength training sessions with HRV monitoring. It really helped me to perform well in the competition and win the race.

I trained for a few months with Jeremy and Ajay. After discussing my goals and settings up a timelime Jeremy designed a program and by following the program I reached my short term goals. If you work hard (and they will help you), and you stick to the plan in and out of the gym it works. Jeremy and Ajay were always reachable for tips and advices which was very useful. The training were made to get the most results and I was always pushed to my limits. I met a few others trainers there, they were always friendly and professionals.

I have trained at RAW for nearly 2 years, working with Annie Hon the entire time. The facilities and location of RAW were wonderful, but the real reason I stuck with them was because of Annie. She is amazing trainer not only because of her attitude and knowledge, but because she cares for her clients. She went above and beyond for me, helping on a personal level with my diet, nutrition, self-confidence and commitment to training. I d like to recommend Vincent Guillin working at RAW fitness as a personal trainer . He helped me with Jeremy Meyer getting stronger and leaner with a personal nutrition plan and training. Suffering from 2 injuries ( herniated disc and achilles tendon "rupture'' ) they were able to find the right exercises & movements to make those weak parts stronger without any pain. I definitely recommend Raw Fitness to everyone !!!
I've been training here for close to 18 months now and I love it. Rhiann is fantastic - fun, energetic and knows how to push me just the right amount exactly at the point where I insist I can't take anymore. She mixes up the workouts so things never get dull and I really look forward to going in to see her. All in all, a super dooper gym.

RAW is definitely one of the best gyms in Hong Kong! Anthony is my coach and he is awesome. He has a great sports science background and is very patient in explaining training methods and movements. I am preparing for my first half-marathon early next year and he tailored a half-marathon running program together with strength training sessions. Great gym filled with professional trainers that has an in depth knowledge to coach you to your physical goal. I trained with Jared. He is a great trainer to push my limits, focus to coach me, and not checking his phone during our sessions, and always educate himself with the newest fitness information. Have been using RAW for around a year with Rhiann Sherriff as my personal trainer. The gym is well equipped and while it has busy times is never too so crowed that you can t get your planned exercises done. The team of trainers are very friendly and welcoming and Rhiann has been great - I really like her attention to technique and form - there is no point in putting a lot of effort in if you are doing it all wrong! She also has a nice balance between pushing hard and still being human. I started at RAW to help fix a specific injury that appeared to have arisen due to some specific muscle imbalances. I am continuing because I feel like I am in much better shape as a result of going there.

I ve been waiting for Faiq at RAW to let me down on something before I write this review, but he continues to meet and -often - exceed my expectations. I know: that s a pretty cynical approach, but I ve had my share of disappointments with trainers at several of the supposed best PT gyms around the world. Not so with RAW.
RAW has been accommodating and inviting of feedback. From my very first day here about a year ago, I made a comment about the water pressure in the showers (I like strip your skin off kind of pressure). On my next visit, Jeremy had people working on the showers. I also like how they can keep my records during breaks between packages so I can benchmark my progress over time. Many other PTs will simply delete all your personal bests and records after a few months of inactivity. The best part about RAW is that it is owner/operator-run. When there s a concern, it gets attention immediately. This has been so different to my experience at other PT gyms around HK.
Faiq clearly loves his job and excels at it. While the sessions are charged per hour, Faiq has regularly stayed on - sometimes for as much as half an hour after - to help me with stretches, exercises or provide nutritional advice. I ve invested a lot of time and energy into getting back into shape, and Faiq, by doing this - among many other points of careful attention - has shown me that I m completely supported on this journey.
Losing weight and gaining muscle as a vegan has been a new challenge for both me and, to some extent, Faiq, but I appreciate how open and sensitive he and everyone at RAW is to my unique dietary needs. I don t feel judged! Also, where there is a gap in his knowledge, Faiq has been eager to research vegan nutrition for me.
Unlike some of the other PT gyms I ve subscribed to, which kept me waiting weeks before I got a decent meal plan, Faiq had me hitting the ground running on Day 1. He had a meal plan, took my measurements and had figured out my weights all by the first day. I m currently out of the country, but that hasn t stopped him from sending me a home workout routine and ensuring that I keep in touch regarding my eating.
I ve left RAW in the past to experience other PT gyms, and I don t know why I wasted that time! RAW is leagues ahead of its competition, and Faiq is a rock star!
I was in Hong Kong for 3 weeks, and I wanted to use this time to maximally improve my fitness within the limits of some old injuries. I first sat down with Jeremy for an hour to discuss my fitness goals and limitations. He listened very attentively and he was clearly very knowledgeable when it came to various modalities of fitness training and human physiology. He assigned my to work with Rob, who in addition to his experience as a professional athlete and fitness coach, also had a background in physical therapy.
Rob helped to identify some of the issues behind my hip and shoulder pain. He was able to help get certain muscle groups activated in order to correct some improper movement techniques. Over 13 sessions in 3 weeks, my pain diminished while my strength and size increased. In this short time period, I dropped 1.5% of my body fat and added 1.5kg of muscle. I also looked noticeably different (in a good way) in the mirror. My workout routines were logged with a spreadsheet to mark the progress, and I was given a copy of it at the end.
Overall, I had a great experience with RAW. The facilities are top notch, and the experience and attentiveness of the staff stands out. I am satisfied with the results and would highly recommend RAW to anyone.
As a marathoner, I always seek to excel. Kamay/RAW helps a lot. My PT, Kamay, doesn't only train up my physical condition but also mental. The level of seriousness is no joke - from circuit training to counting of CORRECT form in each set, from diet and nutrition to nagging... It is definitely a place for anyone who is serious about fitness!

I've been routinely training at RAW for almost 4 years and for the last three with Head Trainer Jeremy Meyer. After leaving a major commercial gym to join this studio, I was very quickly impressed by the shear professionalism and knowledge by highly qualified trainers who were 'real' experienced athletes. The equipment is continuously being replaced and updated and is 'state of the art'. One side not seen is the time and effort the trainers put in designing the training programs which are changed every 3-4 weeks. My education of nutrition, strength and conditioning principles has grown not just from the very personal one on one training and development concept but also from the 'in house' specialized courses hosted by RAW with guests being world renowned ex Olympian Andre Benoit and also Christian Maurice. Training at RAW keeps me highly motivated to continue building lean mass, burn fat and most of all feel great. I really enjoy the RAW studio environment which creates a great feeling of camaraderie amongst both the trainers and clients which helps keep you highly motivated to reach your goals.

I have been training at RAW for nearly three years and I switched trainers to Louise McCallum three months ago. I have been really impressed with her training techniques and am very pleased with my improvement. She has written bespoke programs for me, has focussed, on my request , on conditioning as well as strength training. Louise has delivered all this with great enthusiasm, an engaging manner and an attention to details that has made every session feel worthwhile. She is all about focus and effort and really keeps me in the zone. Though I sometimes dread my sessions, I always come away feeling like I have worked hard and made good progress. I have been training at RAW with Jeremy since about 2012, having met Jez through rugby. I had been training regularly for many years before but never as hard or as effectively as when I am at RAW. I have become stronger and more mobile while also being much smarter about both training and nutrition. I started training with Faiq in January and have felt a transformation over the last 7 months, I feel stronger and more energetic in all my daily routine and chores whereas before I would feel extremely tired . It has been a big change for me with this training especially after giving birth recently. I have been in this fitness club for more than half a year, and I feel pretty good overall. Although the facilities are not big, they are more professional, and the teaching level of the coaches is also more professional. Loretta is great! Compared with other clubs with a high degree of commercialization, RAW has a high degree of privacy, pays attention to professional training, and also has a supporting diet and goal tracking measurement, which is generally good value for money.
I thoroughly enjoy training with Louise - she has a very thoughtful approach to my training and has included specific exercises to address my postural issues etc. She is incredibly reliable and is always positive and upbeat - both of which are important when you're training at 6am!

My partner and I were initially a bit cynical about personal training but following a personal recommendation from a colleague we decided to take the plunge and join Annie Hon at RAW. Best decision we ever made! Annie addresses all aspects of your personal training encompassing both the mental approach as well as the physical. My partner and I trained with Annie as a couple and that must be challenging for a personal trainer yet Annie developed a program that worked for us both. The dietary advice and subsequent dietary changes we have made are with us forever and have helped us achieve our targets. We have left HK now and we miss Annie and RAW very much....but their influence remains with us as we continue to use a personal trainer now and the dietary principles are part of our every day life. If you are unsure???? jump in and don't look back would be our advice.
Raw is the best Personal training & surely recommended for best results.. Specially would recommend FAIQ as personal trainer. He prepared me nutrition meal plan at my comfort that really helped me to loss body fat , gain strength & shape. I'm sure he can help me to achieve my goal. Will get back with more reviews in next few months.

Jay is everything one could ask for in a personal trainer knowledgeable, dedicated, and expert at designing personalized programs that deliver results. RAW is tremendous value for the money. Definitely far superior to what other gyms in the area are offering for 1:1 personal training. While all the trainers are terrific, I have made particular strides with Jay's mix of art, intuition and science.
I've been training with Jeremy (the owner at RAW) for about 8 weeks now and I can honestly say that he is the best personal trainer I have ever had (and I've had a few). In my first four weeks I lost approximately 4% body fat and regained my strength after not having trained for awhile. All of the trainers at RAW are at the top of their field and are all friendly and encouraging. The equipment at the gym is top notch and far better than what you find at your standard commercial gyms in Hong Kong. If you are looking for a personal trainer in Hong Kong then I highly recommend RAW.
I've been going to RAW for the past three years in order to recover from double hip replacement and start training seriously for a return to competitive tennis. I've worked with most of the trainers there and they are all of the highest caliber.
Since joining RAW I have remained injury free, become stronger, more knowledgeable about health & fitness, and won four tournaments in the past two years!
Jay Horley is a rare trainer who not only has extensive knowledge but knows how to translate that in an approachable way, custom fit for my particular situation.
My latest trainer Anthony Chung is also amazing as he really understands my training goals and needs, is technically sound and knowledgeable in a non-intimidating way. Anthony will listen to what various troubles/injuries/soreness I m having at the moment and try to work around them. He s strict on form without being annoying about it and properly explaining the reasons behind it. I really appreciate his serious, professional, yet empathetic style of training and his pleasant demeanor that allows me to get the most out of my sessions there without much fuss.

Eight months ago, I was someone that never had seen the gym as something i had time for, let alone a personal trainer. After years of having back issues, a scrawny look and unhealthy diet, I was recommended to RAW by a close friend to get in to shape.
From the first moment of walking into RAW, I was greeted and welcomed by the RAW team. Jeremy who is the man behind the business greeted and introduced me to the whole gym as i came in initially. After assessing my fitness goals, I was introduced to Loretta who would be an ideal fit for what i wanted to achieve, it also helped that she had trained the friend that recommended me :)
I work a busy schedule, so Loretta ensured Ipicked days where i could maximise my ability to hit my goals. This is when my journey began, Loretta was extremely patient and supportive as i learnt my ropes, i started to fall in love with exercising as she not only encouraged me through the exercises but added her wealth of knowledge which made exercising far more interesting to me.
Just a few months into training, i feel like i'm a whole new person! RAW introduced me to a better diet plan (while supporting my lifestyle) and from struggling to carry 10KG weights to pulling 60/80KGs in a matter of months, I feel like an evolved person. My friends, colleagues and family have also started to notice the impact, both physically and mentally. Thank you Loretta!!

Training programs change frequently enough to provide ongoing variety but balanced with ability to see and show progress within specific exercises. Results in strength and physical appearance continue and start early. In years of training, I have responded best to my time at RAW. I had six weeks, 18 sessions, to become a better myself. Ajay's tailored workouts, with knowledge and understanding, and simple dietary advices, pushed me each time to my maximum, giving me the right momentum when close to failure. I lost 10 pounds, feel great, and want more.
I needed a little bit more vitality and sturdiness in my already active work life and personal life. Being injury prone, I read that building strength through weight training can help, and this where I found RAW. Faiq is my personal trainer and he has patiently helped me build strength from the ground up albeit my constant complaining on how heavy everything was! After a few sessions, I already noticed how my old injuries feel much better and how I feel more padded up and secure when I go about my day working as a full-time Yoga Instructor. My running has also improved in a sense that my legs feel like they have more power and stability. One of the best things I have gotten out of my training is the extra energy I still have at the end of the day, which is priceless, really.
Excellent gym with great equipment and my trainer Faiq was top notch. He really helped me reach my goals and also was very helpful when it came to dealing with my past injuries. If you looking for a proper gym with good trainers I would recommend you give RAW and Faiq a try.
Been training with Jeremy the past two months. All the sessions so far have been immensely helpful, especially as someone who hasn't trained regularly before. In addition to getting physically stronger, I have also learned better workout techniques and have also seen a gradual improvement in my golf game as a result of the improvements in my core strength.
I've been training with Rhiann Sheriff for about four months and cannot recommend her highly enough! Rhiann has been helping me recover from a bad AC joint dislocation - she researched a rehabilitation programme and has a laser focus on form to make sure that I'm working the right muscles and making progress (as endorsed by my physio). We've also discussed nutrition, and between the training and food I've been very pleased with the results. It's been particularly helpful that Rhi is realistic about the impact of work demands and business travel, and works to mitigate them - for example with work outs that can be adjusted for a hotel gym, and finding healthy eating options whilst overseas. Book a session with Rhi, you won't regret it.

My experience at RAW has been great! Anthony has been an awesome coach. He s very knowledgeable on fitness and nutrition and is very patient in explaining various concepts and movements. Anthony is very dedicated and always motivates me to strive for the best I m capable of doing. He tailored a marathon training running program to supplement strength training sessions for my race at the end of the year. In addition, Anthony also provides nutritional guidance, as detailed as what brand of yogurt I should go for. Greatly appreciate his hard work and the warm community at RAW.

RAW is an excellent gym and I strongly recommend it for all levels! Lex is my personal trainer and I am extremely satisfied with the whole package he offers, his coaching, his guidance, diet, the routine he has designed for me (has the right balance of variety) and his attention to detail regarding my technique never drops! He is always encouraging, teaching me how to improve technique, building my core strength. I am really seeing the improvements, better coordination, lifting more and outside the gym, I'm sleeping better, eating better, feeling better, lost weight. I look forward to my sessions with Lex. The BEST gym in HongKong. The trainers in RAW are all very knowledgeable and professional. I have been training with Lou McCallum for almost 9 months now. With the customised program designed by Lou, not only has my body composition improved, but it also helped got rid of my poor eating habits. I highly recommend RAW and especially Lou if you are looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about your progress.

There gym equipment is very well maintained and the place is not packed even during busy periods. Other trainers are very friendly too.

I went to RAW personal training studio to look at options for a knee injury that simply put was not coming right even after visiting an orthopedic surgeon and undergoing extensive physiotherapy. I first met with the owner, Jeremy, who then put me in contact with a trainer who he thought would provide me with appropriate training options as well as developing a rehabilitation plan for my patellar tendonitis. I found the entire experience extremely rewarding and have seen positive outcomes with my knee. I also have a great foundation and understanding of safe weight training principles.
I was pretty unfit when I started training with Rhiann at Raw about a year ago. Fast forward a year later, although I have yet to achieve my dream body and there is still more work to be done, I have experienced and seen significant changes to my body and fitness level. I can now do various exercises which I remember I neither could do nor struggled in the beginning when I started. My posture is much better now compared to a year ago and I have better movement mobility and reduced tension and strain across my neck and back. Rhiann emphasises a lot on correcting my techniques and posture when doing a particular exercise/ movement and this has helped to reduce the risk of injuries to my back (I have a back injury history) whilst targeting only the correct muscles to work. Having trained with a few other trainers in the past, I know for a fact that Rhiann is highly skilled and knowledgeable in the correct techniques. During training, she always makes sure my movement, mind and muscles are synchronised whilst cheering on with her witty sarcasm and infectious bubbly energetic pom pom girl vibes! Rhiann also helps me with diet advisory and keeps me honest in my food calorie intake count. Training with Rhian has been really fun and rewarding and I look forward each and every time. Rhiann is truly a star in her league and I shall do her justice in achieving my dream body to showcase and amplify all her good work! Thanks Rhiann and the wonderful team at RAW!
RAW is a great gym and has excellant personal trainers. I had a full hip replacement one year ago and my physical therapist recommended that I train at RAW (and particularly with Jay Horley) to rebuild strength and regain range of motion. Jay has trained me for the last 9 months - I couldn't be happier with the quality of the training programs and my results. The gym itself occupies two floors in Winsome House and has state of the art equipment - more importantly Jay works hard to provide challenging but doable routines that pack a lot of work into a one hour session. Jay is fantastic - I've watched the other trainers working with clients as well - they are all really good, and everyone at RAW is very friendly - a great crew there. I give this gym (and Jay Horley) a five star recommendation. Great job, and my sincere thanks to Jay and RAW!
