Worst company to deal with ever. Fingal allowed them have monopoly since early 2000 and they price gouge at every turn. Make it as hard as possible to move to a new provider and want €30 to take their old bins away. Call centre out sourced to Asia very nasty won’t allow you to speak to a manager, keep you on hold fir 20-+ mins and threaten debt collectors fir their extortionate €30 . They won’t give detail of how they calculate a low value refund if their annual fee I already paid up front. If you can don’t use this nasty company save your self the stress

I do sympathise with some of the complaints on these reviews, however I can only go by my experience and we moved years ago from another company lets say very well known beginning with O and they were so so hard to deal with unlike panda they never answered their phones if I've an issue panda will deal with it on the phone very professionally, just this morning I'd 3 full boxes extra and 2 extra bags of recycling being just after Christmas they took it all, same last week when the black bin was collected extra rubbish taken with the crazy season again no issues , I will gladly put up proof that this is a genuine customer review, I can be quick to complain too but thought it might be nice to thank as the amount of rubbish out side I was chuffed they took it, thanks panda lads on the Mornington route.
No brown bin collection yesterday and no reason why. Second consecutive time this has happened. My neighbours who are affected have to individually ring in orders to get theirs collected- why? what a bad use of everyone's time. This company really really doesn't care about doing a good job.
I ve been trying to close my account. I ve been told misinformation that I can top up my account for the last payment. The site won t let me, it kept showing me 505 as balance is 0 . Customer service s lazy and unhelpful. My frustration is to just close the account, agent advised me to call again the next day as they re closing. I want to pay online as I m not confident sending my card details over the phone! They can t even send me an invoice of my last bill via email, so I could even try to pay via An Post.

I have to deal with Panda Waste commercially and domestically. For both accounts they are terrible and incompetent. Staff are uninterested and not helpful, they frequently make mistakes on their on systems and fail to communicate any account issues. If they weren't the only waste collection company in the area I would have left their services.
If I could give a minus score for this company I would. This is the worst bin service I have ever dealt with. We have been signed up to them for 4 months and they have never successfully collected our bins. I have had to phone them each time to tell them the bin wasn t collected. Their solution is to rescan the bin. It s just a joke of a company, who barely respond to any emails. I would stay far away from them!!
I broke up some old garden fence and a few bits from the garage. Because the height was above the top of the bag (less than 80cm) the uplift was rejected. Nothing to do with weight. The bag was light enough for me to drag it to the gateway myself. That s their rules/H&S etc so fine but I won t be using them again ever!
Had hit a few bad weeks and couldn't pay the bill was paid yesterday and had all the rubbish that had built up out with the black bin and brown bin left out also .. they emptied bins but left the bags that we needed gone they just left them at the gate and wouldn't of killed them to throw them into the bin lorry now we have nowhere to put the bags its disgusting will be switching to a more reliable bin company
Worst skip hire company around, i run my own carpentry business and had switched to using them for a while now but they collected a skip too early last week and wouldn't drop a new one so I'm left with rubbish still to get rid of .its their loss as I will not give them any business again.

Perimeter wall capping damaged by driver when collecting a skip bag , driver left without saying anything. I spoke to a customer services representative who said they would follow up with a line manager and get back to me with view to repairing the damage.
This was about four weeks ago , I'm still waiting for a call back.
Really poor service on Saturday by your team. My mother had hired a skip for the weekend to clear out the house. She is an elderly women and is limited in what she can lift so she hired in some help for the day. When booking the skip she was informed that it would be delivered to the house in the morning. The skip didn't turn up until 4pm which meant that the hired help were getting paid for standing around and doing nothing. It also meant that they had an hour to do what they were meant to do over the course of the day and that she had to pay for another full day of labour on the Sunday. The whole thing was a disaster.
I am confused by the service provided at DART stations. There are recycling bins provided.. BUT there are no other bins for non-recyclable waste..? Hence a glimpse in the bins reveals that people just put all rubbish in there including food waste. So how can any of the rubbish be recycled?
I signed up June. Told agent I want monthly payment. Agent said pay 26 euro upfront and ring next month to set up direct debit for monthly. When Julycame, I received an invoice of 269 plus euro which is a bill for yearly I didn't sign up with. I rang customer service who rectified the issue and set up my direct debit for monthly payment. Come end of July and my accounts been debited 269 euro!!! took my shopping money for the week!. Now I have to ring Monday to get this sorted,hopefully I won't be swearing on the phone or else I ll cancel get my money back and sign up to oxygen!
Would give zero stars if I could. Like most reviewers on here, we can't get them to reliably collect our bins. They never explain why. They suggest we have been segregating rubbish incorrectly, never the case. Been going on for 4 years. The handful of good reviews on here look entirely fake.
Skip hire service. While the skip arrived on time, it's been sitting ready for collection for over a week. Called panda 4 times now to pick it up since the day of the agreed collection and all I get is apologies from the people on the phone that there are delays but promises that the drivers will pick it up "today".
Requested a skip, ,on day of arrival ,no sign rang them to be told its wasnt assigned for the day and could be.tomorrow,with two lads standing by ,had to cancel and rebook with another.company ,poor shield Panda

left bins out Christmas night for collection Stephens day. come home from work to find neither bins collected and both full to the brim. This isn't the first time this has happened either. not a happy customer at all!!!
Dealt with customer support on two occasions. The worst support I ever came across. Not helpful, not sympathetic, not answering questions, simply don't care about the issue customer is coming with. Other issue with the payment. One week they will take automatic payment no problem, the other week they would nit, resulting in services suspension, the following week they will take the payment again no problem from the very same payment method. Constantly have to ring them and get something sorted.
Awful service. Have to call up most weeks about bins not sorted. 50/50 on whether you'll get ok customer service over the phone. Not helpful especially not worth the price. If you're lucky enough to have a choice of bins, I recommend another.
I would give 0 if I could. Have made several complaints over a very long period of time regarding ridicuously dangerous speed of bin trucks reversing down our road despite so many blindspots (due to communal parking both sides of tbe road, cars are parked lengthways beside one another) and so many young kids playing..no way these bin trucks would be able to stop in time if a child appeared suddenly from between cars. No warning alarm either for reversing, like u hear on so many large reversing vehicles.
I drive a very small car and am a confident driver and I would never risk reversing at this speed. I have had several assurances that this would be taken seriously and yet the matter remains unchanged. I also had one manager insist to me that it wasn't even happening despite him not witnessing what I see every monday morning.
I have been onto them 10 times and written to them twice and nothing has changed (yet they get onto you for the slightest thing- like a 21 cent balance). Driver even using his phone while driving. I am the most unlikely person to complain usually. And now I know why. You get nowhere. Even when a matter is so serious it could cost someone their life. I hope to God a child won't be killed by one of these speeding trucks. Panda cannot say no one warned them about the issue.
I understand the bin men have a job to do and may even be under pressure to do a certain number of bins in a particular shift. I did say I wasn't looking to get anyone into trouble. Hwoever if the former is true, then Panda need to ensure bin drivers have enough time to pick bins up safely. God knows they charge their customers enough...either way, there is no excuse for putting anyone at risk. You go under the wheels of a bin truck and you are not coming out alive. SLOW DOWN PLEASE!
I've been with Panda for the last 8 years and have never had any issues. I pay by direct debit and the green and black bins are collected whenever I leave them out.

Don't know why Panda is rated so badly. I have no major complaints. Always collect on time seems like a standard collection price. Tried to make us pay an astronomical price in the pay per weight change, government put a stop to that thankfully.
Starting with the negative. They don't collect organic waste in my area. Organic/Food waste is the most environmental thing anyone can recycle as it doesn't have to be shipped off-shore. .
On to the positives...., . They pick up my bin exactly when they are supposed to and pricing is fair. I live in the middle of nowhere (rural). I would happily pay more if they recycled more stuff for me. Driving around to other recycling depos costs me time and fuel.
The PR and marketing department must only work part-time time here. There is no response to positive or negative feedback. I loved the bit about recycling election posters for free but they have a terrible reputation regarding customer accounts. I like to see a system like the leap card where they give you - 5. Your dealing with Irish people here. We like to pay in dribs and drabs but will jump at a good deal for a year if it will save us 10. Most of the negative reviews are because of [Computer says no]. It just needs Irish perimeters entered.
I've never had an issue with being over charged and I have no ill feeling towards this company but I will change to a new company next year that takes food waste because my time is worth more me that a couple of euro.
I also love their YouTube videos which gives great insight to what they are doing with my waste.
Painful to set up an account with them. Online web form / contact form, doesn't work, rang them and staff didn't seem to care. Why on earth they don't have an online system to join. I'd go with another company except there's no choice. They're the only company collecting in my area. Customer service agent was miserable!! 4 phone calls later and maybe we'll get our bins collected
Panda sent me a letter showing the green bin with plastic bags in it. Warned that I would have to pay for a contaminated bin. I called an pointed out that the bags in question were empty and made of recyclable materials. Still got the warning. Furthermore I wrote to Panda pointing out that they regularly leave the bin in the middle of the driveway. I happen to live on a very busy road. No apology and their staff cannot for some reason return the bin from where they got it. Avoid Panda if at all possible.
Dont go near these ... have to call almost every week have been charged for bin lifts that never happened basicly day light robbery i actually had to leave a note on my bin this morn asking driver to collect my bin because customer service couldnt get them on the phone how ridiculos is that ...con artists

I hear people giving very bad reviews to Panda. We've been customers since 2005. They're not the best company in the world but my experience has generally been very good. I have had minor issues but everytime I have contacted them regarding these issues they have resolved them very efficiently there is always going to be small problems it's normal. it's how they are dealt with that makes the difference. For the most part I'm a happy customer.
I haven't been with them in over 3years because I owed 90 on my account and when I rang them to sort out payment I got the height of abuse from the woman I spoke to and because of her rude attitude I told her they could whistle for their money..didn't hear anything for 3 years and now they're hounding me for the 90..they must be strapped for cash if they're still annoying people after so long!!!!
Bins didn't get collected two weeks in row, worst company I have ever come across. Will be changing over to another company. Definitely would not recommend to my worst enemy.
USE PANDA FOR OUR INDUSTRIAL WASTE BINS, GREAT SERVICE AND REALLY NICE STAFF, I GET A PHONE CALL EVERY FEW WEEKS TO CHECK ALLS GOOD AND NO PROBLEMS WOULD RECOMMEND
Two times so far they have charged me for their expensive bin wash service that I didn't ask for! Bin collection has been fine though and they where helpful providing us with a new bin for free when the old one disappeared over night.
On trying to open an account at an existing customers address I was met with various hurdles followed by two diffente operators hanging up the phone. My husband who is Irish, made the same enquiry and there were no issues with the operator that processed the bin exchange in quick fashion. My name seems to be pretty easy to understand when I provide my bank details, but pretty hilarious and imposible to spell by the the operators. I know that other none native English speakers have experienced similar behaviour. So is it common practice for you company to treat customers like that or is just pure ignorance?
For about the fourth time in this year, the bin wasn't collected today.
The last time I rang to seek redress, the customer service complained that I wasn't the named person on the account, even though I'm the bill payer and basically wouldn't talk to me. Isn't that her job? I was actually helping you by pointing out a service failure. So... the bin will sit there until next week, but it's rather odd that Panda ***still*** doesn't get that it does NOT earn revenue when it does not collect a bin. Guys, seriously, reverse ALL THE WAY DOWN the bottom of a cul de sac. Perched on the back of a lorry, you cannot but see all the bins on a road. Despairing.
Didn't collect my recycle bin today, because my card was expired! Doesn't matter that I payed two days ago and my balance was zero. Customer service not helpfull at all. I have to wait untill next collection and obviously it is not possible so I have to put everything to waste bin. Very ecological but the most important that panda will charge me for that. Worst service ever.
Just horrible company. Almost was a customer. No option to sign up from website, rude customer service, they never call you back if you leave contact details and they don't have a mobile app. If you have any choice, pick someone else.
An animal for recycling yet they havent collected our green bin twice in thebpast month. First time no reason given...second a note left on it saying composite materials not recyclable. It is fully of cardboard and paper. Starting to think they are trying to increase black bin usage (as we only put that out wvery 3 weeks) by refusing the recycling one.
Great services with lovely bin operators (can't understand so low rate). Super services for waste bags and collection domestic waste. My bins are always collected and left on the place, never problem with additional waste. My kids love them and they are always waiting for Panda truck. Recommend to everyone!!!
Fantastic bin company, I didn't use to have a brown bin so I got one and it's a money saver bin as I only now have to put out my black bin every 3 weeks, new brown bin was also handy by phone to get. Well done Panda!, you are more than helpful
You took over 9 Euros from my account because there was an unopened sealed recycling bag in your truck. I had left this bag BESIDE the green bin. It's any wonder that you are getting bad complaints. Considering 90% of your collected waste is shipped of to the Netherlands. You will be getting a phone call from me tomorrow over this sanction.
Pretty much pick and choose when they want to lift the bins. Constantly walking out in the morning to a full bin. It seems that I am calling them back out for failure to collect on an almost bi weekly basis. If there was any other waste disposal company available in Rush I would be using them.
Terrible service not contactable. Create problems for road users and footpath users. Poor attitude to their customers and do no provide a proper service. Is there aneed for a competitor or another service provider.
Have to say the worst bin company ever.. my account is paid in full .. my service charges are paid up Jan 2017 and still no collection .. wen I rang they said they would try get the driver back .. load of crap .. so I told them if the bins weren't collected today .. Bin doesn't get collected frequently. Charged for weight for recycling and have caught bin men adding waste to my bin from neighbours bins if other bins are over filled meaning we get charged for others waste.
The reviews are misleading, but we've had them for a year as our bin collectors and no complaints. Even when account was overdue and only realised in the morning of collection day they were accommodating.
Our bins not only wasn't collected today but they had the AUDACITY of putting the bins back inside, scattering rubbish in their way back. All because we put two well folded boxes near the bins because they didn't fit in. We are four apartments sharing the same bins, so guess that next time that we receives something in a large box I should keep the box inside my f... rectum until you have the mercy to collect it :)
Don't use panda for skip purposes, they say they will bring a skip AM, and then they don't, they won't even let you know. On collection, they say they will collect on another certain day ,but they don't, and they never bother to inform you.
My bins were not collected so I deceided to ring Panda about it, and having read the reviews I was not expecting much - how wrong I was. The person on the phone was very helpful, the reason the bins were not collected was due to a failed direct debit (my fault) I paid over the phone and was promised an emergency collection next day. Again after reading the reviews I thought I was being fobbed off on the emergency collection - wrong again - the bins were collected as promised and further more were washed out as well.
Excellent service from start to finish, I wish every company I deal with made life this easy.
It took 2 or 3 weeks for our bins to be picked up after we signed up with Panda. There was absolutely no explanation for it, no reason whatsoever. Anyone I have ever dealt with from Panda has been so rude and abrupt. They couldn't care less what your issue is with their service. Now they're going to start charging for the green bins....? The service they provide is bad enough, now they want more money?? I would love to switch service providers but Panda have a monopoly on my area which is a breach of competition law. The sooner that is resolved the better because I cannot wait to go with someone else.
Totally unprofessional bad value for money. Didn't deliver when meant to and then picked up too early. Extremely disappointed. I dialled a co I used to deal with and went onto panda who has taken over. Never again
Dodgy stuff going on for years. Right now money has been completely emptied from my panda account... Even though my bin hadn't been collected in weeks. If I had a choice I'd change bin company for house hold waste
Service is really bad. I have been using panda waste for over 7 years and time and time again my bins have been missed resulting in me having to phone numerous times for an emergency collection. I recently set up a second account as unfortunately they are the only bin providers that do both addresses and my bin was not collected on Tuesday. I then phoned and they said they would send an emergency truck and it was not collected again. I had to phone again Friday and they said it will be next Tuesday before they can collect it. That leaves me with nowhere to put my bins for one week now and the smell is horrific with flys everywhere. Inadequate service for the price I pay. I would not recommend this service, go with a different bin company if you can. Zero stars.

Charged for bins even though not left out for collection. When you phone to speak to someone ended up in a queue for over 11 mins (busy with complaints???). Customer service unable to explain why charges appear even though bin not left out. I have emailed twice and submitted a contact form and still no contact from any representative!!!! Shocking carry on and even worse customer service.. Still waiting on charges to be removed from bill since April.
The more uselees and poor managament waste company we have ever work with. We have to do so due to no more companies provinding service in Mearh. Always stupid reasons for not collecting bins, instead of contact cluents.....you must always discover by yourself that something is wrong when they are not collecting bins for weeks. My bin never collected today even that i pay. Ill be frowing my rubbish outside of my house near the field!!! Tired of this bin mafia! Ill collect the rubbish and then will burn it. My bins weren't collected second week and in a row. The "reason" was account overdue. When I logged in my balance is zero, nothing to be paid. I've been asked to update my account details by calling them or logging in to panda account. So I did, logged in, updated details and bins still not collected. Why? Because you need to update your details by calling them, not online despite i got a message that i can do it either online or on the phone. No one rang or sent a message to say what's wrong or what to do. Rude girl at the call centre just dropped a call when I start to complain. On the second try other girl updated my details but bins are still here, hope they will be emptied next week. If not this will be my last week with them.
Have to call up every thursday (our bin day is wed) for the last 2-3 months to ask why bins not colected same answer each time " oh im sorry i dont no what happened .ill have them picked up friday its crazy very unprofessional
Didn't pick up my green bin becouse there was a bag on top of the bin,I called customer service to arrange emergency collection for next week and surprise they don't do it anymore. Your services became ridiculously bad! Management decisions are making scumbags throwing garbage on the side of the roads now. No bags in the green bin means rubbish all over the road on colecttion day. Use your brain on how to collect the bins and leave the roads clean behind not only on how to make more money,it's enough we have to pay fees for you to collect and sell our waste. Greedy bastards!
I cannot thank Panda skip hire enough. I shopped around lots of different companies & they where all very expensive & even some where not nice to deal with. But when I rang Panda their prices was so affordable & anyone I spoke to was so lovely & helpful even right down to the guy who delivered the skip. I will definitely be using Panda again & I would highly recommend to everyone you can t go wrong with this company. We were comparing different companies as we recently moved to a new house. I called customer service to ask them to send me their fees by email and the agent told me that they where not allowed to put the pricing in writing. That cost them a Client. If they are not able to be transparent about pricing for a potencial client I can't imagine what kind of service they provide. If you have options I suggest you don't even pay them a call.
The company do not publish prices on their website. In fact they won't even put them in an email.
Lately they put started taking pictures of what is in your bin. In theory this is ok but they have an issue with bags not being emptied, even if it is full out papers.
They are also now insisting that all bags the brown bin are compostable. This isn't always possible for example 3L bags are not currently available to buy in Ireland.
Small company gone power mad. Time to for an alternative.
Have been with panda for years , never have a problem with them, they pick up on time. Customer service has been fine. Wish there was more flexibility around how often they collected bins and how much they collected.
Skip hire let me down very badly during house move. Twice. Very apologetic however when I requested a price reduction for the huge inconvenience caused they essentially asked for more money. Disastrous service and I will be switching my domestic bin service as a result also.
Hi, I was driving down the back roads on the way from Swords to Blanchardstown with a new learner driver at roughly 18:10. The learner driver was only new and very nervous and the car cut out once at a roundabout. One of your panda bin truck drivers beeped constantly at the learner driver. Then the panda driver proceeded to follow the learner driver at about 3 feet behind, which was not safe at all, even for an experienced driver, let alone a learner. At a second roundabout, the learner cut out again, mainly due to the dangerous driving and nerves from the beeping. Your panda driver proceeded to dangerously over take at the roundabout and then shock his head angrily in the direction of the learner. Pretty disgraceful behavior and myself and my parents are changing bin companies unless this is resolved. The driver was a skinny bald man but it was dark and hard to see.
How hard could it be to collect a bin when that's the basis for your company? Very hard apparently! Moved into a new property and previous tenant had called Panda to permanently remove the bins. A month later and several calls from the Landlord, the previous tenant and myself the bins are still there!! Given that they have been in the area to do the waste collection for the neighbors, I don't understand why 3-5 days has become weeks. Zeros stars due to the fact the bins are still sitting in a car park space annoying the neighbors.
