I walked through the fairgrounds which was not too busy early in the morning and meet some person let me look around.. I enjoyed my experience.
Nice fairgrounds. I come almost every year. Parking is expensive and you usually have to park far away. Food isn t too expensive and is pretty good.
This was really confusing and everything was not new people friendly.
Flower and patio show was interesting. Loads of parking with many handicapped spots nearish to doors
My family had been going every year for a long time. Unfortunately I think this year will be out last. It's seems as the price of everything had gone up at all the through out the fair? 13.00 for two slices of pizza! I really don't remember this event being so expensive? Or is it just me?
It was neat the kids had fun; however, we had 5 kids in one vehicle ranging from 2 to 12. It was horrible. Listened to the website and came around 9 hoping it would be quicker. 2.5 hours waiting in line to see a 30 minute light show.... was not worth it. Do not go on the weekends at all costs and definitely bring snacks.
Family oriented, big 4h for your whole family . Great food and activities!
Enjoyed the hockey game. Was a fantastic experience!
I visited the fairgrounds to attend the reptile show. I liked it being in a larger building this time because it has really grown over the years. The thing I don't like is the expensive parking. I think small events should have cheaper parking.
The last Hoosier Hundred, Silver Crown cars, pitted for my nephew, great memorable night, thanks Matt and Gene
Went Sunday 11/19/17 for the Jurassic Quest experience & it was very spacious &well organized
Flower and patio show at fair grounds always good. But cost to much to get in and still have to pay $3.00 for a bottle of water. The $6.00 beer is a better deal!
Amazing place full of fun times and happy memories!!
Christmas Night of Lights was cute. My daughters enjoyed it tremendously.
I was here for the boat sport and travel show it was a Good experience.
Always enjoy the fair I just didn't enough this round
A good Gun Show. Parking was a little tough for a DAV.
overflowing resource info. Really enjoying State fair
Love it.... disappointed about the animals only being around a few days at a time.
We visit the State Fair every year. I feel like Indiana has one of the best in the country. Always a good time, plenty of great food, activities for every interest.
So many family memories! Best fair in Indy for sure! Lots to do all year round
$5 parking and plenty of spaces. $8 tickets if you order online. More food and entertainment than you are capable of enjoying in one day.
At the Bike, Rv, and Boat Show. Love it go every year.
Great

Parking is always a challenge on popular venues. But once you make it to your building of interest it is a nice place.
Poor parking lot control on 2 Dollar Tuesday.
Vendors seemed unaware that attendees may have wanted food specials.
We went to see the christmas lights, the lights were worth the money but the wait was 3 hours. Make sure you bring drinks and snacks.
$2 Tuesdays is what it's all about! It's 2 bucks to get in, $2 rides, and most vendors offer a $2 special. It's usually a 'sampler' size but it won't make you feel bloated and sleepy, and you have room to try other things! Make sure you get a map so you can keep up with the scheduled events. There is a fishing catch and release instruction and activity, a petting zoo, miniature golf, the big top circus and lots of other things in the several different buildings. It's really a great time. Don't forget the sunscreen!
Good place to pass the time during events. Went to state fare and bubble run. Had fun.
I had a wonderful time! Atmosphere was great food was even better! Lots of walking but it was well worth It!
Visited there many times to see the Indiana state fair, new year light show and it was a nice experience
Need more soda vending machines. Plus the ones available won't take debit/credit cards or cash. Only coin. Looking for diet Mtn Dew.
Everything was perfect. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The Mecum Auto Auction a great day to spend at the fairgrounds.
Avoid at all costs. We waited 2.5 hours to get in on a Monday night. The lights are in the middle of the track so you can see the whole show before you even get in. By the time we actually in the 30 minute show I was just hoping it would end as soon as possible.
I'm hearing Indianapolis from St Louis working the Mecum Auto Auction show. I am absolutely Amazed by this fairground. I would have loved to seen it back in the day. I plan on coming out to an event maybe the state fair possibly. It just is so unique to me gets me all excited when we're driving around parking lot seeing so many different buildings her so many different eras. Must go must go just to look at the building if that's all.
4 years ago, I was at this fair and I had my Game Boy Advance SP with me. While I was at the lego area, I left it there and I try to come back to find it but it wasn't there. To this day I am not happy that I lost it.
Great Christmas light show. Thanks to all that put in time and effort to make a really nice display
This is one of the great things that we have in Indianapolis Indiana i hope it continues to be successful
Where we can see the agricultural support of Indiana.. enjoy rides circus..taste some foods
A great place to hold many FFA activities for the National FFA convention.
Workers didn't do there job and didn't know directions to anywhere.
Had a great time and apperiated the day and good ppl
Attended the last Hoosier Hundred Silver Crown race. Great time
Wow alot going on big place we wnt to reptile show easy parking right by building we were in came home with 5 more snakes . parking was 5 dollars
For the most part its fun. Their "$2 Tuesday" is a joke. They advertise food and drinks are $2, but when you go to a stand 1 item is $2 and everything else is higher priced.
Two under 3 had a terrific time! Way better than Planet Snoopy at King's Island and they got into this for free!! Recommend the little farmer helpers area near the pioneer village section. Well worth it!
I love going to events at the fairgrounds. Today was the Home Show. Out of 13 years I haven't had one employee that was rude or unhelpful. They keep the grounds clean and will always help you find what ya need.
Spent $130 in the first 5 minutes with admission, parking and 55 tickets for $60. Each ride is 4 tickets per person so that's only 6 rides for 2 people or 4 rides for 3 people.
The fair is supposed to be something people can attend without having to spend so much money. Rip off
well laid out grounds, very well kept, plenty of parking, easy to get to
Rude people at the front gate, yelling about "we ain't charging people" then getting mad when I about pulled away because they were douching around, not paying attention. Get real. Another person told me I couldn't drive one way even though I could because several other cars were allowed through. Fairgroundistan, get your s together.
