We have used northside realty several times now, Barry is friendly and will go above and beyond to help you find what you re looking for. We recently bought a new house and we were under a time crunch to sell our old house. Barry put our needs first even though he had a chance to make money. If you are reading this review to find a realtor there is no need to read any further Barry is the best!!

I cannot recommend Jo and Richard enough. They made buying my first home so easy! They gave me extremely helpful advice and were always easy to reach with questions. They were able to recommend all the services to get through closing. I really loved working with Jo and Richard because I knew they were taking care of me.

Pat McElroy was a great help in selling our house! She provided guidance as to pricing, and the selling price was close to our listing price. She also recommended various teams to help with the final preparations for listing - cleaners, landscapers, and handymen. Our house looked great, and we closed in less than a month! We are well pleased with the sale of our house. Thank you, Pat!

Kim Van Horn (of Northside Realty Inc) has been my "all-around" realtor. She helped me buy my first home after relocating to Durham, and once I was settled, she helped me get a good deal on a great office location. Her all around care included solid references for minor works, a comprehensive knowledge base, follow-through on all aspects of transactions, and advocacy for me while working with lenders and sellers. I'm not ready to sell anything (yet), but there is only one realtor I'll turn to when I do -- Kim Van Horn! I could not recommend Kim any more highly.

Kim Van Horn has been so amazingly accessible to us during several searches, and she made the process of buying a home so clear every step of the way. She's continued to be accessible as we begin the process of renovation. Soon we'll be working with her to sell a house and look forward to working with her every step of the way.

Jeanna is awesome! You'd be crazy to go to anyone else. She has assisted many people I know and is very helpful. I remember in 1998 she helped my prudent mother for over 2 years find the perfect home and was extremely patient (my mom ended up selling that home for over 3 times the purchase price 18 years later). When my wife and I were interested in purchasing a home, we contacted her and she ended up showing us a house only a few hours later, on a SUNDAY! She knows Wake County and the surrounding areas very well and will vigorously fight for her clients. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.

Tip and Heather are a fantastic team! I have used their services for two homes, both buying and selling, and wouldn't even consider using anyone else! Fantastic! 5 stars!

We randomly met Diana Jayes at an open house for a condo. We enjoyed her presence and stayed in touch with her as we began to seriously consider purchasing a house. We decided to build a new home in a new community and asked Diana to be our agent. Diana also is very versed in interior design.

Our agent, Kim Van Horn, simply rocked. She's helped us buy and sell 2 homes over the past 5 years. When you're the buyer, she fights hard for your rights as a buyer. My husband and I met Kim Van Horn when we were young, had just moved to Raleigh and were completely ignorant of the house buying process. She took us under her wing and guided us through the process. Buyers Beware! This agency employs realtors who will take advantage of you. Try to bully you into buying a home you can t afford and works with CMG financial, Jennifer Maldonado who will also take advantage of you. They will try to loop you into paying a higher commission percentage without you realizing it. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau and the NC Real Estate commission. Run from these guys, don t sign anything, do your research! They are bullies and will take whatever you don t realize they are taking. Record your conversations and save all communication. Just run fast and move onto a realtor you can actually trust!

We worked with Rebecca Dougherty when trying to sell our house in Fuquay and she did an excellent job for us in every way possible.
She went way above and beyond for us and she sold our home soon after it was put on the market.

Bonnie Gambardella is an unfavorable agent I have ever hired as she caused me allot of problems and money as well. Ms. Gambardella also revealed confidential information about me which is totally unprofessional. The Agency Northside Realty is a wonderful agency as the owner is caring and will take the extra step to ensure quality service.

I sold and purchased a house using Meredith Lundberg. The attention to detail and advice she gave me on initial repairs and staging was a direct correlation to how quickly my house sold (4 days). During the purchase process, I had a lot of specifications that had to be met and Meredith was patient and helpful through out the entire process. I think we looked at close to 50 homes before I ended back at the first house she showed me. I can t thank her enough.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with Northside Realty and their agent Tip. We have actually purchased two homes and sold one with Lisa Ligouri as our Realtor. The best thing you can do when you are looking to buy or sell a home is to work with Lisa. She is exceptionally familiar with the local area and has such a great understanding of families and what they need. There isn't a bigger priority out there above buying the house of your dreams at the right price. We've done that twice with Lisa expertly handling negotiations and all other aspects of Real Estate. My pizza was AMAZING! Everything was perfect! Not because I was hungry but because they did a great job! My family and I eat pizza maybe once every 2 weeks and sometimes it may be longer but I haven't had a pizza that was prepared just right but this one was! I give them 2 thumbs up! With the number of homes we buy and sell each year, it's easy to come across a transaction that needs some extra attention. Crystal is always willing to go that extra mile to get the deal across the finish line. We highly recommend them.

We used Tip and Heather to find the perfect house for us. In fact, when we first moved to North Carolina, they helped us with finding a perfect rental so we could figure out where we wanted to be in the area. They are so knowledgeable about the area, have great resources for all the services you'll need (mortgage broker, termite inspector, home inspector, surveyor) that it really feels like a one stop shop if that's what you want. They are on top of their game getting out an offer the same day - working late into the night in our case. They are set up with easy to use technology so we were able to do most of the paperwork from the road with e-signatures on the initial offer when things were time sensitive. Bonus - they were so on top of things and let us know up front everything we needed that we were able to close in 21 days.

All in all, I can't say enough about them. They're both lovely and I've recommended them personally to a number of friends.

A huge shout out (and thank you) goes to Lois Magee of Northside Realty. My husband and I just purchased our first home, and if it wasn't for Lois, we'd still be sitting in our condo contemplating whether or not we should start looking for a house. We had been discussing buying a home for months, but I was very wary of finding a good realtor that we could trust and that had our best interests in mind, as we are both young, did not personally know any realtors in the area, and were overwhelmed by the sheer number of realtors that turned up during a Google search. Long story short, we were referred to her by a close friend of ours and I cannot put into words how thankful I am that things worked out the way they did. As soon as we met her, we did not think twice about working with her, as it was apparent from the onset that Lois was professional, thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, trustworthy. I have heard from many people that the home buying process is usually stressful, but we weren't stressed at all, and I attribute that to Lois. From start to finish, things went smoothly. She provided us with all of the information necessary to make informed decisions. She was unbiased and honest with us regarding potential imperfections in homes (she even caught that a bathroom renovation likely wasn't permitted because an air vent was missing, despite the seller having initially disclosed everything was permitted...turns out she was correct and the seller hadn't actually permitted it). She answered every single question we had and was more than willing to work with our very hectic schedules (my husband and I are in the same place one day a week). She also worked very hard for us during negotiations. She truly does have your best interests in mind, and she does everything she can to advocate and work for you. Suzanne has great contacts when it comes to vendors to provide quotes for needed sprucing up some areas. Tip also had a great list of contractors to use and always kept my satisfaction in mind. They both looked out for my best interest when it came to quality work and workers. Suzanne and Tip brought in quality potential buyers, got me a buyer at the price I wanted and we closed in a very short time. Gary Clark of Northside Realty is the best! My husband and I heard how fast and stressful the Triangle real estate market can be, but we were ready to take the next step and become first-time homebuyers/owners. We were really nervous and not sure where to start, what we really needed to do, and what specific area of the Triangle would be best for us. Gary, however, happily stepped in after we received a recommendation to work with him, and it was definitely the right choice! I felt that he really listened to our wants and needs, and was always open to answer our endless questions and concerns (even when I'm sure they were probably annoying!). If you're looking to buy or sell real estate I highly recommend and strongly urge you to call Rossi and Bishop first. With their help, I closed on a great property in Bedford with them yesterday, and it would not have happened without them. They are great friends, but even better real estate professionals. Here are just a few reasons why I think they are the bomb:
1. I bought in an area where houses sell in hours and if you don't aren't one of the few people who jump on it while "coming soon", you are too late. I learned that the hard way a few times. Their HomeSpotter app is free and also very helpful with this. Rossi quickly learned and understood exactly what I wanted, and he found the house I bought just hours after it was listed as "coming soon".
2. They are excellent, calculated, and caring negotiators - my deal was tricky and they made it happen because of their people skills.
3. They are hooked up and well connected. They connected my up with a seasoned and outstanding banker, and without him the deal would not have happened. I was turned down several times and their guy got creative and found a way when others didn't because of his broad experience and knowledge. They've also recommended some great contractors who actually show up!We are know there are a lot of Realtors in the area, who are part of Nextdoor and live in our neighborhood and it can be hard to find the right person. Take it from a person who in the past has bought and sold real estate on my own several times and at times have not given realtors the full benefit of the doubt. I eat my words now because this was a totally different experience and would not have happened if not for Rossi and Bishop. To them I say thanks so much, to you all I say call them. You guys made it happen and I am thrilled!

Victoria is the bomb! I tell anyone in Raleigh that they need her for any home buying experience!

I purchased a house during peak house buying season with Meredith as my realtor. We looked at many houses, she wrote multiple offers on houses, met me at new listings within 24 hour notice, she always got back to me quickly and never seemed to mind that I inundated her with questions. She made the process easy, helped me understand the paperwork and was always on top of the next step. Thank you Meredith! My dog and I love our new house!

I would not recommend Northside realty based off my experience with their realtor Sam Calvert and his broker Nick Nicolaysen. Sam Calvert was rude, condescending, aggressive, and completely unprofessional for months. I finally fired him after he sent threatening text messages to me for 2 hours from 9:44-11:47 on a Saturday night furious that I was unavailable to see a home on his schedule. He made inappropriate demands for access to my financial information several times. In the text messages he told me I was "bullshit", a "liar", inferred I was unable to afford the home, and said I was a bad daughter. Along with the termination agreement and explanation as to why I was firing him I also sent screen shots of all the 29 aggressive text messages to his broker Mr. Nicolaysen who took a few days to respond. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

As a first time homebuyer, my experience with Northside Realty realtor, Barry Yates was awesome. He went above and beyond my expectations to help me navigate the home buying experience. I greatly appreciate all he did for me and would definitely recommend him to any one buying or selling a home in the future!
