ServiceMaster of Kalamazoo Review

Service Master came to our new home to clean our carpets and were professional, on time and efficient. When a week later a "pet urine" smell continued to persist they came back and did a deep clean in that room at no additional charge. We did end up having to replace that flooring but Service Master did all that was possible to prevent our having the additional expense. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I ve always had excellent service from Servicemaster, from major cleanup after a basement flood to routine upholstery care. The technicians are couteous and efficient, and their work is exemplary.

Jason from Service Master was extremely helpful. He knew what services would be necessary to help resolve our concerns. He listened to our concerns and found solutions. We would highly recommend Jason and Service Master.

We had a backup of soot come out of a shop vac while cleaning the fireplace and it covered everything on our first floor with black, greasy soot. We contacted Service Master and they were onsite making an evaluation and recommendation within 1.5 hours. The team that came out and cleaned and supervised were beyond amazing. Project managers, Jason and Steve, provided reassurance and professional assessment. Cleaning personnel Matt, Josh and Jerimiah were thorough, careful and meticulous. Every item and task was handled in a manner that gave us confidence and relief. We cannot praise this company enough and highly recommend them!!

Mike, our service person, did a great job. Arrived right on time, used various means to protect our property while he did his work, and our carpet looks great. We thought there were some stains he would not be able to eliminate but he got them out. He was very professional, explained things well and was easy to talk to.

We hired ServiceMaster to clean my late father's house. He had hoarding disorder, so it would have taken weeks to do it myself. ServiceMaster completed it promptly, allowed me to mark items that I wanted saved, and, most importantly, treated my father's items that went into the dumpster with respect -- instead of simply being dumped they were placed carefully. ServiceMaster is not inexpensive, but they're certainly comparable in price, and believe me, this is a situation where you don't simply want the best deal.

Super nice and professional. I appreciate the attention to details such as putting my heavier antique pieces up on foam so that any excess moisture didn't wick up into the wood. Carpets looked just like new when they were finished!

When we had water damage at our house, they were quick to respond as soon as our insurance company called. They did a fantastic job, and even got the walls and ceiling dried out faster than they estimated. What stood out for me, though, was that I had to lock my "escape artist" cat on our (enclosed) porch while they were working, and Jimmy actually called to check whether I wanted him to let my cat out before he locked up for the day! I really appreciate a company that will value my pets as much as my property. Thank you!

Ziggy and Junior have been working on a big clean up at an elderly family members house. They are not just hard workers but do so with respect and a smile. Both men work with you and really explain what their needs are to make the cleaning process a best outcome for all parties. They are great ambassadors for the company.

I worked for Service Master for two months, crew members either don't want to work or they do falf work. They are not honest people, when you subcontract you do what the customer wants not what you want. I cut down on my hrs so I could find a better job, they said I did 2 No calls no show. My supervisor was told to find coverage, she didn't and I was fired because of it. I don't recommend any one for Service Master.

They kept me updated throughout the process and were thorough and efficient from start to finish!

In the past, I always called Modernistic or Stanley Steamer to clean my carpets. This time, I decided to give ServiceMaster a try. Boy, am I glad I did! There was only one guy, Mike, but he was super thorough and did a fabulous job. He took a lot of time and went over trouble areas more than once. He must have spent 45 minutes just on my stairs. My carpets look brand new. He got out stains that I thought were there for good. The price was exactly what they quoted me on the phone and he didn't try to upsell me stuff like scotchgard, pet spray, etc. etc. The other guys are quicker but they work on commission and just want to get the job done and go on the the next house. Oh, and they didn't ask me to move anything! Mike did it all. If your carpets need cleaning, call ServiceMaster and ask for Mike. You won't be sorry.

Our dog got sick in the basement leaving vomit, diarrhea, and blood (our dog is now better by the way) and I needed someone to take care of the carpets ASAP. Service Master of Kalamazoo went out of their way to get to us same day even though they were short on staff. When they left our basement was free from any stains (even the blood). Super friendly staff too. I understand they are known more for commercial cleaning but I'd highly recommend them for any residential cleaning. Great experience.

Now, and in the past, Mike has always exceeded my expectations not only with the product he delivers but also with the manner and character he exudes while taking care of the services I need. These reasons are why I specifically schedule with Mike every time I call on Servicemaster and another reason why I can feel confident to recommend ServiceMaster to friends. ServiceMaster has cleaned our carpets a number of times, and did a great job every time. They are very thorough, and actually use extracting methods to get the carpet clean, instead of pushing the dirt to the bottom of the fibers. We wouldn't use anyone else!

We found Service Master employees to be thorough, honest about what were the best techniques and the likelihood of their working, and great to work with. The strategies they implemented worked.

Last week Mike did our carpets, dining room chairs and laminate floor. He did a great job! Hard worker, professional and personable. It's your personnel and the quality of work they do that keep us as satisfied customers who strongly recommend you to others. They came out the very next day to access the damage, came up with a plan to dry out all the troubled areas, set things up, and came back each day to check progress. Service Master saved my basement. They should up in a timely manner and pumped out around 100 gallons or water and also cleaned up the mud that came in as well. I thought my entire basement was destroyed but due to there fast service the basement was totally dried and saved with very little damage. If your basement floods you need to call Service Master.

My experience with Mike Woody for upholstery cleaning and picking up some large area rugs for cleaning was very good. Mike was prompt, courteous and efficient. I will definitely use Servicemaster again!

We called a Servicemaster employee that we know when our basement flooded and they went above and beyond to get it taken care of as quickly as possible. The name for this business fits perfectly. They really are service masters. Not only did they come quickly and made us feel like we were top priority, but the job they did was impeccable. They checked up on the job various times before calling it a done deal and made sure we were completely satisfied. Communication was exceptional as well. What a great company! We won't be using anyone else next time we have a problem.
