Very crisp and clean location. Relatively easy to find and parking is on site for customers. The first time I went, it took a while for someone to come to the front desk for me to get assistance, however the second time, service was prompt. Got my gear fixed at a reasonable rate.

I visited Nikon August 31 to enquire about a having a camera repaired. The person at the counter - a young woman, was being rude to the customer in front of me showing exasperation (the customer was Chinese). When it was my turn to be served the Nikon counter person was curt, and cut me off in mid-speech. I will never use Nikon again. clearly your counter people need some training in civility and customer service.

Recently had to bring in my Nikon SB-910 for service the second time because the locking mechanism isn't working. The first time it was service, they had repaired it with no problem. This time however, due to the scratches and damage of the flash from falling since it wasn't securing properly, they would not repair it. It would cost me $250 to repair which is half the price. After speaking to 2 supervisor, the last 1 understood that it was damaged due to it not securing properly but because I used it again they would not repair it for free. I asked to be transfered to his supervisor and he said he will patch me to the president's office but he just patched me through the customer service reception.

Very poor customer service! Disappointing
When I dropped off my gear for service, the girl that took it was somewhat decent with me, but not overly helpful or friendly. When I called to find out the status of my order the girl on the phone was very short and quite inpatient when I had a few questions (maybe I interrupted her lunch break....who knows!). There was no explanation as to why my repair was not covered under warranty, which I only wanted to understand the issue to prevent it from happening again. Essentially, she just wanted me to confirm the payment so they could go ahead with the service and take my money - no questions asked.
Picking up my repaired lens and body was also a hassle. They were disorganized, kept me waiting a long time and none of the 3 women associates were treating any customers respectfully or had any patience with them! On the bright side, at least they were able to complete my repair for $850! Camera is working well again.
For a company that makes such great high end products, their customer service is extremely poor and sad to see how little they stand behind their product.
Overall, a very poor and disappointing experience.

Very disappointing. They don't provide any services for older models. They don't even provide basic cleaning. If your camera's sensor filter gets dirty over time, you won't get any help from them. It's just unacceptable!

Useless. Keymission 360 product is a total failure. I am abandoned with a $650 camera which CANNOT take pictures. The App fails on all levels. Bluetooth pairing lasts for one session... change the battery or get out of wifi range and you are FORCED to un-pair and re-pair constantly. Local service or advice is non-existent, they will not even connect me to marketing support. 100% across the board FAIL! DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER NIKON PRODUCT BEFORE DOING A REVIEWS SEARCH. Don't be fooled by the name... even industry "leaders" can make trash.

Once again Nikon has bent over backwards to look after me and my Gear. For more than 10 Years now of daily use and transitioning from the D300 to the D3 to the D810, my Gear has performed flawlessly. On the rare occasion when I did find myself with a problem, Nikon and the caring and very polite people in the service department at Mississauga Ontario were there to look after me without hesitation and all the respect a customer could ask for. With the many wonderful offerings today from other manufacturers it is always tempting to make the switch. I myself have chosen to stick with what has served me so well and the fine people that will go out of their way to look after me when I need it the most.
Good Job Nikon, Well done.

The service of Nikon Canada is terrible. I would give 0 star. I spent more than $1000 plus shipping to repair my Nikon 70-200mm lens. It still didn't work although they claimed they replaced the motor. I asked them to repair it again and they blamed it on my camera body. After I tried my lens with other bodies, they now said it passed repair warranty. Very bad service. Don't spend your money sending your gear in.

Called Nikon regarding a my Nikon Coolpix P520 being unresponsive to turning on. The customer service person told me that it was likely the chip in the camera and was not worth my while to get it repaired ... and that it was out of warranty. I asked if I could bring it up anyway to have it looked at, but she said that all they can do for me is visually inspect it without opening it, and they would just tell me the same thing so don't bother. A month later, I was looking at some old photos and noticed the date stamp of when they were taken. I bought the camera a week before going on that trip, and realized that my camera had TWO WEEKS leftof warranty when I called Nikon and spoke to this bonehead. NOW IT IS out of warranty and they will not do anything about it.
THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT I have ever dealt with. Unhelpful, bordering on rude, this girl needs to be fired. Completely useless. Now I have a practically new, "quality" camera that is no more use than a doorstop because of her.

I received an amazing and outstanding service from one of the staff who was in charge of dealing with a curbside pick up/drop off (Covid-19 days). Victor L. went above and beyond of helping me with a 2-camera drop off where I came totally unprepared (my fault for not checking out their website first). He was very patient with my questions and very willing to guide me through the on line registration process. Also, he was eager to lend me a helping hand to remove my gear attachements. Many thanks Victor and the hard working team of Nikon Mississauga! My cameras will thank you for their facial (aka sensor cleaning).

When I sent my camera (AW130) in on July 27, I assumed I would have it back in time for my vacation, August 22, sadly that is not the case. While I am happy the warranty covered the problem (they are replacing the camera) I feel as though it is unacceptable that Nikon can keep my camera for essentially a month without giving me any options but to wait. I have called several times and have been told that it is on backorder....really for a month?! Still waiting....

I have recently brought two identical cameras in for service within their respective 1 year warranty period, and both times I was pleasantly surprised that they just fixed the cameras with no questions asked. I had anticipated that Nikon would argue that it was my rough handling that had caused the damage, and to an extent, they may have been right. While my experience with the robustness of the camera hardware has been a little lacking compared to the other big brand I had been using, the customer service experience with Nikon has been exemplary. To be fair, the Nikon cameras that I use are at a lower price point then the one I had from the other brand. I bought them because they met my technical requirements and were very good value for money. If you are within driving distance of the Mississauga facility getting your hardware serviced is a breeze. I can t think of many better customer service experiences I have ever had. Thanks Nikon!

I regret the time I entered Nikon Professional Services. I love Nikon gear and I won't stop using it until it wears out ( I currently have about S40,000 invested, not counting the trade ins). However, when it is cost effective for ME, I will start putting my money in some other brand. A camara do not make a photographer. I am hard with my TOOLS, they are made for me to WORK.
Treating with the girl at the counter was very disappointing. She doesn't seem to care about the customer or even the Nikon products. She mistreated me, she refused to show me the refurbished gear, she was SO RUDE even in front of other customers. She is impatient and with poor appalling service attitude.
When I tried to complaint to management, nobody came to talk with me.
The day after I received a call which in my perception felt like " We are going to screw you for complaining".
Nikon gear is good but so is Canon or Sony, the difference is ALWAYS the people and their customer service.
The issue that provoked all this: I took my D5 for sensor cleaning. I had taken it to a inhabited Cuban key. It got dirty, and they claim 'with corrosion' due to sea water. I don't care about the body, I care about the images I take. I own various bodies (usually the latest ones) which I change every year (contrary to popular belief photography pays very well) . I just needed my $8500 sensor cleaned and they refused due to 'Nikon' STANDARDS. How about a professional client NEEDS..Obviously there is a culture mismatch in here....so long Nikon

Firstly, the service dept answered the phone promptly and were helpful. Secondly, I didn't have the receipt at hand but that wasn't a problem, the rep looked it up and said bring it on in. I took my camera and lens in for a minor repair and to have both checked out to determine if there was any internal damage after they were dropped. Long story short, I fell while holding the camera and although I took most of the impact, I managed to break the battery chamber door and to slightly dent the front of the lens body. The staff were able to assess the damage, give me an estimate, and make the necessary repairs in very short order. I think a key part of this whole process was the online repair booking system that I had to use to start the process. The forms were easy to complete and this was key to setting up the tracking of the cameras and the work to be done.
The work was well done and I have had no issues with the camera or the lens. I also appreciate that they kept me informed. The estimate was provided the same day I dropped the camera off and when the work was complete, I got a call that everything was ready. Everything was itemized and I am very happy with the work done.
I highly recommend Nikon's service centre and the work that they do.

I am so Dissappointed with Nikon.... I have cameras and lenses I was a loyal Nikon user.
I bought a new scope for a rifle I purchased end of January 2020. then Covid hit I wasn't able to get to the range to sight the new scope....
So come end of July I went out to sight the scope and a couple shots in the cross hairs on the scope got loose or whatever happened.
So I went back to the Store I bought it at Sail and they said you need to deal direct with Nikon...
Ok that is fine contact Nikon ship in my scope which cost me $40.
So i had customer service get a hold of me and now Nikon has got out of the scope manufacturing. So they said they can't replace it they can only give me a credit to buy Nikon only products.... and to top it all off they are only giving me a Nikon credit for what I paid for the scope no taxes or any costs for shipping the defective scope to them.
I would understand if I was using the scope for years but it was brand new and pretty much defective product.
So I am getting screwed by Nikon I can only buy a Nikon product with my credit. I don't need anything but my scope and now they got out of the scope business I need to purchase a different scope so I am out alot of money....
And the Customer service person I am dealing with couldn't care a less.....
if this is the way you treat long time customers I will no longer be a Nikon Customer.
Thanks for nothing!

My Nikon 750 was high I purchased jan 2017 Started having shutter issues.
First off. I love nikon and their products. They re the best out there in my opinion. They re service is pretty good too. I agree that they turn down the warranty on liquid afford products. Fully support that. However my camera shutter is not working properly which has been an ongoing problem with their body ever since release
Checked Nikon website and it suggested that my camera was not affected and not recalled for bad shutter. nikon, however has had shutter malfunctions with their D750 model every since it was released and their most recent recall was in july 12 2017. Jan 8 2018 i Sent it to nikon they informed me that shutter malfunction was covered under warranty and i wouldnt have to pay. Last week I got email saying that warranty was denied because while opening camera, techs noticed liquid/ vapour damage. but did not advise that water had contacted the shutter assembly. so now theyre sending my camera back, because i refused to purchase a replacement camera which was quoted $90.00 more than what the local camera stores sell it for. My camera was working and it has sudden shutter malfunctions but 70% of time it works. which in photography business is not good enough.

I have been using Nikon SLR from F1 and took my F2 3 time around the world on my motorbike and in cold and hot wet and dry I never had any problem as i can use it at this time and works as it was working new. Recently I joined the world of electronic and digital world of photography and I was convinced that D 5100 will do what i need to do and what a big mistake as I never thought i will see such a poor quality of manufacturing in Nikon, less than year using this camera and i face that i need a lot higher Mac OS system to use it so i did that and then i discover the battery is not able even 200 shots without flash and price of the battery is more than the case and battery and lens cleaner .and not easy to buy , and finally i set for shooting and I got a msg about my shutter on view finder and manual mention to contact Nikon and i did and result was that i have to send the camera to Nikon Canada and god knows how long will take to fix my new camera as it is on warranty . and no Nikon repair shop or dealer in western Canada but Vancuver and i stock in middle of a contract and I have to go back to film camera , LOL in 2012 . I was the proud user and adviser of Nikon in work and in my Photography classes But look like i have to change My way.

Sent a camera because the wireless feature was not working, I had to pay for shipping, repair was covered under warranty as the camera was only a month old. When they repaired it they installed the viewer wrong and doesn't work properly anymore but, I'm not spending more money in shipping to fix their mistakes. I will have to use the screen only and not the viewer and my next camera will be a Cannon.

This long story shows why Nikon US and Nikon Canad...
This long story shows why Nikon US and Nikon Canada are nothing but a failure in providing proper and satisfactory service to their clients. Please take the time and read.
As a Nikon user for close to two decades, who have invested thousands of dollars in Nikon pro cameras, lenses and flashes with (and Nikon knows that I currently own and use Nikon d810, Nikon d800E, Nikon DF, Nikon 14-24mm 2.8, 24-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8, 35mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, 105mm 2.8, 135mm PC 2, 200mm Micro f.4., 50mm 1.2, 70-300mm 4-5.6, Nikon FM3a film camera, 4 Nikon sb-800s, etc.) I have to admit that every single time I have tried to seek professional service from their service centers I have been disappointed.
The current issue which has given rise to this short complaint, goes back to 2013 when at the time I had the known focusing issues and problems with my two D800 bodies and also issues my 24-70mm lens with soft focus and the fact that the lens did not zoon out all the way to the 24mm and got stuck at about 35mm. Since I had purchased the lens from Kenmore cameras in the US, Nikon Canada was initially refusing to service the lens. However, since Nikon knew their focusing issue with D800s was well recognized, when I contacted the senior management in the US they decided to agree to service the lens in Canada calling it a complimentary service. Nonetheless after I got my cameras and the lens back, I noticed that the issue with the focus was still unresolved, while the zoom issue with the lens was fixed. After sending the cameras in again for the second time and not having the issue fixed, I decided to get rid of them and eventually replaced the cameras with D810 and D800E, only to realize the soft focus on my 24-70mm lens persisted. However, sending the lens in again from Vancouver to Toronto and waiting that they can hopefully solve the issue was not an option. I tried to deal with it until I moved to Toronto 3 months ago. I decided to take the lens personally to Nikon service center in Mississauga to get it fixed. Now, I am in Toronto doing a Masters in Documentary photography at Ryerson University and thus have obtained Campus Nikon Professional Services (Campus NPS) card which as it claims on their website, it should provide me with:
5 Days Service Turnaround
Subsidized Shipping
Service Safety Net2
All Maintenance Free of Charge including Wear and Tear
Available for the duration of Program Enrolment
NPS Graduate Bonus
Thus, I decided to take my lens to Nikon Canada to get it services and aligned for the issues of the soft focus which had persisted so far. To my surprise, Nikon Canada not only did not accept their fault not having fixed my lens three years ago but kept insisting that the lens is out of warranty and they disregarded that they failed to fix my lens in the first place not alone the fact that as a Campus NPS member they should fix and repair the lens for its maintenance and wear and tear. The lens shows absolutely not sign of abuse either, and the only thing is the focus mainly at 70mm which is relatively soft.
A few days later (October 18th, 2016) instead of fixing the lens, Nikon Canada sends me an estimate for repair with service pack B2 for the amount of $374.99. Just after I call them to complain about the fee, and asking them to fix the lens since they had failed to fix it before, the next day on October 19th 2016, Nikon sends me a new estimate with service repair rank C for $599.99. It is interesting to note how I have all the right to distrust Nikon at this point, since not only they failed to fix my lens three years before, but also changing their mind about what needed to be done for my lens just a day after I contact them to complain about the cost, perhaps thinking beforehand that if they increase the cost of repair they can negotiate it with me later and settle for the initial asking fee which is exactly what happened after I called them again and then followed with Marie Shaniz who the Senior Customer Service manager at Nikon USA. COOLPIX L620 , short battery life
COOLPIX L620 , short battery life
The camera was given to me by my company. I have had problems ever since i opened the package . At one point I considered throwing it away because the battery would not last more than 10 minutes to 3 minutes. Before throwing it away, I contacted Nikon and explained what was happening and if there's anything i can do, or has there been a recall due to power problems / issues.
So basically there's nothing I can do, but to send it in for repairs. I would have to pay for shipping and service call, for a camera that never worked from day one, its still in the box.
So stay away from Nikon COOLPIX L620. I'm over 60 years old, I have had my share of cameras first time Nikon, never again. I hope I have helped other with this info.....

I'm a Professional Photographer located in Hamilton. If there can be a problem with a camera I have probably experienced it over the years endless use and abuse on my gear. I use all kinds of Nikon gear, it is reliable and durable but like anything it can break. When there is a problem Nikon Canada has been fast, friendly, and understanding. They have saved me in a pinch a few times keeping confident that they care about my company's reputation like I do. My experiences over the years have been positive to say the least.

A total bill of $ 720 to repair a lens is still exaggerated. I tried to have repairs done elsewhere, but Nikon does not send any more parts to repair. Beautiful monopoly. No choice to repair. I asked the changed parts, it was not possible ... Nevertheless, the lens came back as new ... That being said, I found it all too expensive. Service all the same fast.

Had 70-200mm lens and D800 camera repaired/cleaned. Had a problem with the delivery company Purolator that was causing us a lot of frustration.
