*** Nikon has made it right and refunded me the cost of the Scope. I am disappointed it took posting on social media to get a resolution but I am very happy they took care of it ***
I am so Dissappointed with Nikon.... I have cameras and lenses I was a loyal Nikon user.
I bought a new scope for a rifle I purchased end of January 2020. then Covid hit I wasn't able to get to the range to sight the new scope....
So come end of July I went out to sight the scope and a couple shots in the cross hairs on the scope got loose or whatever happened.
So I went back to the Store I bought it at Sail and they said you need to deal direct with Nikon...
Ok that is fine contact Nikon ship in my scope which cost me $40.
So i had customer service get a hold of me and now Nikon has got out of the scope manufacturing. So they said they can't replace it they can only give me a credit to buy Nikon only products.... and to top it all off they are only giving me a Nikon credit for what I paid for the scope no taxes or any costs for shipping the defective scope to them.
I would understand if I was using the scope for years but it was brand new and pretty much defective product.
So I am getting screwed by Nikon I can only buy a Nikon product with my credit. I don't need anything but my scope and now they got out of the scope business I need to purchase a different scope so I am out alot of money....
And the Customer service person I am dealing with couldn't care a less.....
if this is the way you treat long time customers I will no longer be a Nikon Customer.
