COOLPIX L620 , short battery life

The camera was given to me by my company. I have had problems ever since i opened the package . At one point I considered throwing it away because the battery would not last more than 10 minutes to 3 minutes. Before throwing it away, I contacted Nikon and explained what was happening and if there's anything i can do, or has there been a recall due to power problems / issues.

So basically there's nothing I can do, but to send it in for repairs. I would have to pay for shipping and service call, for a camera that never worked from day one, its still in the box.

So stay away from Nikon COOLPIX L620. I'm over 60 years old, I have had my share of cameras first time Nikon, never again. I hope I have helped other with this info.....
