Sales person, Shadric Hawley, and Financial person, Alex Wiedenhoeft, were open and transparent and comfortable to work with. When we first arrived to drop off our 2010 Prius for service, we were just going to look! However, it is fair to say that we have been "looking" since December. We wanted a vehicle large enough to accommodate our 3 Standard Poodles. Considered the Highlander and 4 Runner. Shadric was very patient, personable and knowledgeable. We would recommend My Auto Import for both sales and for service.

It does not matter if you re buying a vehicle or not they welcome all to walk around and look at different vehicles. The best customer service I ve ever had, anywhere! They are always efficient and great at taking care of my car. But today I was in for an oil change with 2 preschoolers with me. Even though they were closing soon, they all took such great care of us and were so kind. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The waiting room is the best, the staff is amazing. My 6 year old said on the way home they were so nice to us, they made it feel just like home in there. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality and great service!

We walked into MyAuto Import on a very stormy day, Todd, opened the door for us as we were headed to the building. Right off the bat Todd showed up hospitality, which goes a long way with families. He showed us where the complimentary Snacks and drinks were which was very pleasing for our 2 year old! Todd immediately helped us find the exact car we wanted to test drive and did everything he could to make the test drive easy, offering to get our carseat for our child and pulling the car around to the front of the building for us, etc. We walked in just wanting to test drive a Passat TDI, we left owning a 2015 Volkswagen Passat TDI! Todd made the purchase easy, and answered any questions and concerns we had, if Todd didn't know the answer he sure as heck went and found the answer! He didn't lie to us, if he wasn't sure on something he was honest and told us exactly like it is. He was great with our daughter, he was giving her hugs and playing with her by the end of the night. He even brought her a piece of cake and candy. Todd has an excellent sense of humor and family knowledge. I would highly recommend Todd as your salesman for purchasing a car, you won't go without and you will know all the ins and outs of the purchase. If you have any performance cars or a nice car for that matter i would steer clear of this place. I brought my vehicle in for a airbag replacment(recall work) and they decided to take it upon themselfs to drive my car without my permission. They had no reason to drive my vehicle for a simple airbag rapair. And i am very upset that they did not contact me to at least ask permission to look into it. Also they were most likly ragging on it because that would be there only reasoning to drive it to see how quick it is, very frustrated right now. I will never bring my vehicle there for any type of service. Good luck.

I've had pretty good service experiences and have been loyal, historically. While the service was still good during my recent appointment scheduled oil change, I was set back by the price. I wasn't told in advance that they raised the prices for oil changes and what I typically pay $70 for synthetic oil in a Tundra, I was charged $123. That difference seems way out of proportion to me and I will for sure shop around next time and go somewhere else.

My 2013 Subaru Legacy recently had a recall on the steering column, so I took it into the brand new Subaru service center on a Monday to get it replaced. Mine was the first one for these guys in particular to do so there was a learning curve, I'm sure. They had it one day and I expected to bring their Forester loaner back on Tuesday to get my car. Instead, they needed another day to order a steering angle sensor that suffered damage in the disassembly/reassembly process. I was given a brand new Outback loaded to the gills as the new loaner car. I was told not to worry about filling the gas tank back up, and to drive it wherever I needed until they called me back. My work schedule meant I had it until Thursday when I returned to pick up my car. The job was done right and my gas tank was full-- it wasn't when I dropped it off-- and the service manager told me he set it up with the garage to do my next two oil changes on the house for the inconvenience. I told him that's really nice for them to do all that to make it right with me, and that I've always been treated really well all the years I've been bringing the car and truck (2005 Tacoma) to them. We joked for a bit about having me in the Outback so I could get a taste of all the new electronic gizmos it's outfitted with. "We do that on purpose", he says. Pretty darn likely I'll be getting my next ride from these guys. That's if the ones I have ever wear out.

I will say I was a little hesitate to come here again after a slightly negative experience the last time. I have to say that things have really changed for the better here! I brought my car in to get a quote for a trade in. Roy and his helper were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Roy took the time to understand what I was looking for and presented me with options and even let me take the car on an extended test drive. He did not pressure a sale what so ever and gave me time to go home and think about it. He also worked with his manager to try and get me the best deal and the most for my trade ins (we traded in two cars). His manager even came over to check on me and make sure that I was happy with what they came up with at the initial visit. He spoke with me again when I came to purchase the vehicle and was very warm and he genuinely seemed excited for me. Bill did a great job explaining financing options to me and answered all of my questions. When I came the next day to purchase the vehicle it took a bit longer than I anticipated, but my kids were happy to be able to play games, eat, and have access to a computer to pass the time. Everyone we encountered was so friendly. I was given an orientation to my vehicle before driving off where they went over a lot of the features. I'm glad they did as the technology in car was significantly different from my previous one. I know I can go in at any time to ask questions about my car. I love that they connected my phone for me via bluetooth as well as it was several more steps than a typical bluetooth connection. Due to everyone's hard work I was able to purchase the vehicle I wanted the last time, but couldn't afford. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again for sales or service.

My name is Jaisen and I had a rough fall '18 with my Audi A4. My clutch basically exploded and caused a chain reaction of explosions.. Then, upon further inspection, we found out my tires were bald on the insides. Bottom line was a bill for almost $7,000 and all this right before the holidays. I was just a few thousand miles out of warranty too. I've had personal problems with the local GR Audi dealer for the past 17 years and now exclusively drive all the way to My Auto/ Muskegon Audi to get my car serviced. I had dealt with Mickala in the past and she always seemed very plugged in. Great customer service and incredibly knowledgeable on the vehicles. This time through was no different. From the start Mickala was on point. She really cared about me and my situation, which was incredibly refreshing with my past work history at the GR Audi. Her team dug into the vehicle and assessed everything. I reached out to Audi and they then worked with the dealership. Everyone really went to bat for me and it meant a lot. Together my sales rep, the dealership, Audi and most importantly Mickala came through and presented a very generous offer to get the work done. It was still a painful financial experience, but FAR better than it could have been. Incredibly impressed with Mickala and her team along with my salesman Trey. If you need a new or used vehicle then My Auto/ Muskegon Audi deserves a shot at your business. They won't disappoint from the point of sale through the entire life of your vehicle! Although the Tacoma delivery was extended to nearly 3 times what was originally quoted, the dealer sales person (Roy Van Liere) kept me updated and even offered to cancel my order and return my deposit. I did cancel the order, and, when the Tacoma came in much sooner than expected the dealer contacted me and we renegotiated the sale price of the vehicle with additional compensation for the frustration I endured over the delayed delivery. Roy treated me with respect and was very patient, answering all my questions and following up with me throughout the sale, including an after sales phone call to check if all was as expected and asked if I had any other questions. He also reminded me to stop by any time and they would review all the technical details and answer questions I might have.

I purchased a new Nissan minivan in November (from another Nissan dealer in the area) and wanted to have service done at a Nissan dealership....My Auto Import is closer than the Nissan dealer where I bought the minivan. So, on a Monday I scheduled with My Auto Import for a Tuesday oil change package that included oil change, tire rotation and car wash. Took the car in at the scheduled time and they completed the oil change and tire rotation but informed me at checkout that the "car wash person" was out so they hadn t been able to wash my car but I could come back anytime for a free car wash. My Auto Import is 10 to 15 miles away from my home and not on any routes I travel frequently so I emailed the service manager that night, explained the situation and just asked that they credit the car wash portion of the package back to my credit card because making a separate trip for a car wash wasn't convenient.
In short, they did respond after a few days and they did offer me a small credit...but the reply they sent me and the credit they offered clearly communicated to me that they weren't really bothered by the fact that they sold me a service that they didn't deliver on and, when I brought it to their attention their approach was to do the bare minimum to make it go away. No major crimes here, just an apathetic Nissan dealership that did not deliver on the service they offered and, in follow up, was not interested in doing much of anything to ensure the satisfaction of a new Nissan owner.

Always an honest and straight forward approach to service at My Auto Import Center. My car is starting to age a bit and a new car just isn't in my budget at the moment. The service department here really seems to understand that they are dealing with vehicles that are made to last for many years and they know to service them accordingingly.
They are very easy to deal with, explaining everything they find wrong or find okay in clear understandable language. They all seem quite willing to listen to any questions or concerns I have at any time.

Roy, Tino, and Bekah made this a totally great experience. I was over mileage on my lease and had decided to buy out my 2015 Nissan Altima. I had shopped several banks and credit unions for interest rates, but MyAuto came back with a far lower rate from my own bank than they offered me when I stopped in to the bank! Your service advisor Tyler, had the oil changed and did a quick inspection. That showed that my brakes were getting low and I would need to replace the pads this month. He gave me a quote so that I could budget for that.

Well my initial sales experience was very nice. I ve had my Car since March and it s now June and I already need a brand new brake job, the whole brake system! When I took the car home back in March in a about a week after driving the brake light came on along with the airbag light and tire system check light. Just because you buy a budget car doesn t mean it doesn t have to be a SAFE car. Everyone deserves a safe car and the brakes didn t get that way overnight they sold me a car that needed a whole new brake job. It sucks!! Because of that I won t be a returning customer.

Been bringing our 2015 Subaru Forester here for several years for routine oil changes and scheduled maintenance based on mileage or how many months old the car is. Brought it in yesterday for its 60 month/60,000 mile service which is a big one. They told me it would take 3 hours, and 3 hours later the car was good to go! They also did some factory recall work (replacing coil springs). There is a nice waiting room with plenty of seating. They even have a couple massage chairs which I haven t ever tried but maybe next time I will.

I made an appointment 2-3 weeks in advance of getting my car in for a recall. I made my appointment for 9:30am. I got there a little bit early, and decided to wait in the waiting room for my car to be done. On the website it said that my recall shouldn't take more than an hour to do, and I asked one of the guys that works at the service center how long it would take for my car, he said it should only take a couple hours. I sat there for three and a half hours!! I watched my car sit for 30 min and no one touched it, I could have gotten my car back before those 30 min took place. And I kept getting looked over and not acknowledged. It was uncalled for, especially when I made my appointment as early as I did and it disrupted my afternoon. Slow service, bad communication, I will never take my car here again.

Expensive casualty to my 2005 RAV4 with near 110,000 miles discovered during a routine oil change and safety check prompted me to go from Service Dept. to Jeff Perkins in My Imports used car dept. Late on a rainy Friday afternoon, Jeff took my case, demo'd a 2014 Toyota RAV4 that was just what I wanted. Offered several alternatives, worked hard to get me the trade-in price I wanted. He juggled several customer phone calls, phone inquiries from his wife about his arrival home, but kept me engaged and eager to do business with him. Dealership closes at 6, but Jeff and the business manager worked with me until nearly 8 p.m. to get me in the car and on my way home.
I was thoroughly satisfied with how I was treated, have been a loyal Toyota customer since 1990 (nine vehicles bought or leased), and will certainly continue to be so. Jeff Perkins' hustle and sincerity were impressive. As I feel Toyota products sell themselves, it all comes down to the way the salesperson treats me and the deal that is struck. Jeff Perkins certainly worked hard to earn my business, and was successful.
I would recommend My Imports/Toyota to anyone who feels as I do, regarding dealing for a new or used car, or looking for reliable, prompt, and effective service.

After purchasing five Subaru's in the past at another dealership, I am extremely pleased that I purchased my latest one at MyAuto Import Center in Muskegon. I just completed the initial oil change for my 2019 Crosstrek, and the friendly people I met, specifically Eric and Aly, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'm quite certain that I will continue to get my car serviced there and that my next Subaru will be purchased there as well. Kudos to Jake Childress as well, who was the salesman I dealt with six months ago, for orchestrating a great deal for me.

I am very satisfied and happy with the service and assistance given by this Nissan Service Center. Beth was especially helpful, easy to talk to, made sure any questions I had were answered and she was readily available by phone. I'd had a couple bad experiences with this same service center in the past (about 10 years ago) and actually quit going there back then because of the Nissan Service Manager. The new staff have totally changed my mind and I'd be happy to once again count on them for service. I am a retired widow and have to depend on others for quality work. Beth made me feel more like family than a customer and that they'd take good care of me.

Called Charlie and got the voice mail and once again left a clear concise message why I was calling and never got a call back.
I also emailed them with the information that I was referred by the owner on Google reviews to contact Charlie and I never got a reply there either.
As before... Don't walk away...RUN away from this dealership.
They obviously don't care about customers or selling decent used cars.
There is no way these cars are going through inspections of any kind at least in my experience with 3 different vehicles with super obvious issues that weren't taken care of.
Wouldn't be such an issue but they also tend to ask high end dealer retail and for that price structure there should be nothing wrong mechanically.
Update 10/10/19 : after getting the reply below from the "owner" I attempted to call Charlie the pre-owned manager twice as the owner asked me to.
Charlie didn't answer his phone both times and never called me back after I left clear concise messages with my name and cell number.
5 days later still no reply.
Needless to say this dealership needs some serious retraining at least on the inspection and used car pricing aspects of the business along with communication.
Original post : For the short of it, this dealership plays pricing games and I have to seriously question if they actually run their vehicles through inspection.

Looked at 3 cars, one ran really rough like it was missing a cylinder and was priced at the high end of retail. One 2012 priced again at the high end of retail despite the rust and it had 65,000 miles on it but had more rust on it than my 2011 with 334,000 miles on it all in Michigan, the last one had the check engine light on and when taking it for a test drive on a 92 degree day and the air conditioning blew hotter air than that then the radio went on and off intermittently then the fan blower started doing the same then the windshield wipers started unexpectedly and quit again....it's like they don't even bother running an inspection on the used cars but they say they do...I am not sure how a car should ever get through with all those issues.
So I told them I was interested in the last one because it ran and drove great but I wanted all those issues fixed and I'd come back to test drive it again.
Waited two weeks and I get a call, go out there but found out they raised the price from $6800 to $9400.
The $9400 was a full $1300 over top end retail.
Turns out they raised the price significantly on all 3 cars and said it was seasonal price increases on SUV's and trucks.
Thing is...it was late July a full 4 months at the minimum before we'd see any snow.
I told them that and they tried saying all dealerships do it at that time...
Hahaaahaaaa.... even a month later the cars I was looking at on other dealers lots actually went down in price because they were on the lots to long.
Well turns out it took another 2 months to sell that vehicle I was looking at and they had lowered the price to $7200 from $9400.
The sales people I dealt with were honest enough but the internet staff with their all dealers raise prices this time of year thing is ridiculous.
Buyer beware, test drive every vehicle for a good long time, get your mechanic to do a very good check over and watch those prices !

Steve DeVries has always been a great people person and my experience with him over the last few days has been no exception! He always answered my questions to the best of his ability and was very knowledgeable about the Subaru WRX I was inquiring about. I felt very confident in my purchase after our test drives and conversations. If I ever need anything or have any more questions, I know that he's just a text or phone call away!

In response to your reply.... I have further looked into my service records, and you are correct that we did have other items taken care of while getting the oil changed. However, should have looked closer and thought out your response a little better, as you added inaccurate information to this post. We did not have our WIPERS changed, we had the ONE BACK wiper changed. Also,we did not have our HEADLIGHT changed, we had a SIDE MARKER BULB changed. So, adding up the total extras for the one wiper and the one side marker "peanut bulb" as you call it...that equals $32.17 (labor $14.95 and parts $17.22 with tax included). So you deduct that amount from the total amount of $104.64, you get $72.47 for the oil change! You are correct it is not $80. My review was a suggestion as a way to improve your customer experience. When you buy a Subaru, you enter into sort of a marriage with your dealership since you are the only dealer on the Muskegon lakeshore. So I will rewrite this review...Oh, and I also lowered the star rating to 1 star for the way you handled yourself with your response.

My 21 year old son's first car buying experience was here and to say I am disappointed and disgusted is an understatement. I went with him last week to test drive a couple of vehicles and he really liked the Subaru Crosstrek. At the time, the dealership had no new models on the lot so we searched the internet for other dealerships in Michigan. We found a new one he really liked in Traverse City that had all the safety features to include AWD. He is a delivery driver so having those features would be a big benefit on the road. He went to the dealership the following day to let them know he wanted that model and the sales person said they could get it moved down to Muskegon as soon he had approved financing. He first applied with USAA, but received approval for a lower loan amount. He informed the dealership of this so they attempted to get approval through their financing company, Ally Bank. The dealership informed him that he was approved, but only for the base model with just AWD that just arrived to the dealership. He could not afford the one in TC with all the safety features. I was out of town so I asked my son that night how much he was approved for and at what interest rate. He did not know so I went on their Website and found they had two other models on the lot and one had heated seats, but none of the extra safety features. I asked how much he had in his checking account and he said $6k. I told him that if he wrote a check for $1200 he could get the model with at least heated seats and not just the base model he was approved for. Fortunately my wife went with him the next day because they were still pushing the base model until my wife spoke up and said he is ready to write a check for the difference. He was very excited to have purchased his first car with his own financing, no parent co-sign. Well, when I got home the following day, I asked to see the paperwork from the dealership. My jaw dropped. His loan approval from Ally Bank was for $27.5k at 72 months and an interest rate of 9.34%. When I saw the $27.5k, I thought that was almost the price of the model in TC with all the safety features so why was he only good for the base model. I continued to look down and saw that there were $4,500 worth of extras to include extended warranty, paint protection and key loss coverage. My wife and son told me about the paint and key coverage because it was only $21 per month (really $27 when you throw in the 9.34% interest). They did not realize he also purchased an extended warranty. So instead of giving my son the option to purchase the model with all the safety features from TC with the $27.5k to include a small down payment, the dealership tagged on $4500 before even laying out options and told him he could only get the base model. I later found out that the sales team receives incentives to add the extended warranty because it is through a 3rd party and not Subaru. So my son got to realize after the fact what it is like to deal with the stereotypical car salesman. I went in yesterday to express my frustration only to be told by a manager that he laid out the $4500 extras with my wife and son and they were fully aware and wanted them. He was unable to see my point that the $4500 was already in play when they told him he could only afford the base model. I walked out and will never allow another family member to do business with this dealership. I also called Ally Bank to see why an interest rate would be so high for a new car purchase and they informed me that the dealership sets the interest rate and then Ally buys the contract from the dealership. So this dealership is just a scam. They should be ashamed of themselves to take advantage of a first time car buyer. He wanted safety features to assist him while driving and all he got was their extra protections and high interest rate to pad their paychecks. Good job!

He treated us as a professional and none of the bs. He worked on making a deal for us. We got to go home with the Atlas without paying and not having the title to our trade-in!!!
