I've had good luck with the Toyota service department. I was blown off by a dealership in Grand Rapids because my problem didn't happen every time. My Auto Imports knew right what was wrong from my description.

Having worked many years for a supplier to the automotive industry, I've been in a lot of car dealerships. Never have I been in one as first-class as My Auto. It's that way from the customer waiting lounge, which looks like the interior of a five-star restaurant, to the service desk, where "Byrd" treats customers like family. I wouldn't take my vehicle--import or domestic--anywhere else.
Steve handled all of my needs and answered all of my questions. He made the often stressfull process of buying a car simple, easy, and smooth. He was always accessible to answer any questions that came up and even gave me his cell number so I could just text him and he responded quickly. He worked with me to get the best possible deal. I will never buy a car anywhere else
This Suburu service department used to be amazing. I'm not sure what is happening now, but service has really gone down hill. Online service booking is awesome, but only when it is totally read by the service department. We had a car there for a week because initially they only completed the recall, but neglected to read the remainder of why the car was brought in. They called to tell us the recall was done but we then asked if they had checked the other issues which they were oblivious to. Then wrong parts arrived and there was no communication to us regarding what was going on. When we called the car was promised to be done on a particular day, but again no contact and it took another three days to get proper part. I won't be back there for service.
Keegan was awesome to work with. It was my daughter's first purchase, he and everybody that we encountered there were great! I will definitely be back when it's time.
Absolutely horrible customer service, employees screened our calls purposely and did not answer. They failed to transfer our paperwork an registration correctly and then blamed it on us. The secretary of state told my auto employee that the registration problem was not our fault and they continued to deny that information. Have never had a good experience here. Recommend taking your business elsewhere.
I was really in a pinch to get a car quick, and I saw just the one I wanted at My Auto but couldn't get to the dealership until 4 pm because I live out in the boondocks, but it was my only day to get there. Everyone there was super helpful and despite the lateness of the day they didn't make me feel rushed yet were so efficient with getting all the paperwork and such processed I was out in my new car by 6:30! We've had our cars serviced at My Auto and they've always done a great job, but this is our first time buying a vehicle there and it's clear that their sales service is as good as their repairs service.
Best car buying experience I've had to date -- and I started buying cars in 1985! Keegan and all the staff were very friendly, genuine, courteous, and and knowledgeable. No high pressure "What will it take to put you in this car today" stuff. Their attitude was 100% "How can I help you have the experience and the outcome YOU want today?" I got the car that was perfect for me, which would not have happened had I gone somewhere else.

I purchased my first Subaru Outback thanks to Andre, Bill, Jake and Ashlynne. They were very courteous and helpful throughout my test drive and purchased. I drove in with a Ford Taurus Sho with no expectation of purchasing a vehicle. However, after test driving the Outback I was surprised at how well it handled on the expressway and how comfortable the the vehicle . The service not high pressure or fast sales and Andre, Bill, and Jake did the their best to assure that that I received the best deal.
I had an excellent experience buying my first car with My Auto Import Center. On my first visit, I drove two cars and Keegan answered so many of my questions and really pointed me in the right direction for my car search. It took me a week or two of looking around online and researching to really settle on the Prius.
I came back in to try driving the version I was interested in buying but Keegan was busy so I was directed to Roy and Will. Roy seemed very calm and genuine. He was just as good as Keegan at answering all my questions and really directed me with the next steps to take. I was then walked through the finance with Jake, which was easily the smoothest part of everything and he didn't push too hard for any of the extras, which I really appreciated.
The only complaint that I have is that it was a slow process. Often one of the sales team would go to print off a page or ask a quick question and they would take five minutes to get back. My dad and I assume that it is either a sales technique or they have a ping pong table set up back there and have a tournament running haha. Overall it was a good experience and I'm glad it's done.
Had a very fast, smooth and seamless car buying experience with this dealership. Salesman Rob Gould picked the perfect car for me and was almost as excited as I was about the great deal! Manager Charlie Knapp did an awesome job with creating the deal and John G. from finance got us the best rate and was super fast with completing the deal. Great place to buy a vehicle. I have been so pleased that I won t buy a different brand car if they don t service it. I come from a family of car mechanics and race car drivers and my auto is fair, upfront, and bends over backwards to serve.
Katie is exceptionally personable, relatable, patient and knowledgeable, and transformed the potentially unpleasant and formidable process of a new car purchase into a pleasant, comfortable and stress-free experience. We will ask for her help when we purchase another Subaru in the future and we highly recommend her as a top sales person.

I recently bought a new Tiguan from My Auto. The salesman, Nick Oatmen, was knowledgable, helpful, and was not pushy in any way. I would recommend dealing with him.
Just bought a late model used Subaru at My Auto Import Center and am very pleased with the experience. My salesman, Greg Ireland ("GI") was personable--as car salesman almost always are--but not over the top--as they sometimes are. I was treated very fairly, and although GI was trying to deal with another customer at the same time he was dealing with me, relatively efficiently. Their price was rated "great deal" on CarGurus, which I found to be accurate based on my consideration of similar vehicles listed there and on other car buying sites. Not much negotiating on the price, but I was happy with what we did do. Paperwork was completed quickly, as was the car prep prior to final delivery. They even took a personal check for the full purchase price, which I was pleasantly surprised at (although I can't confirm that is standard policy). As car buying goes, an overall good experience. Although I hope not to be in the market for a "new" car soon, I would definitely check out what this dealership has to offer if I was.
Overall had a wonderful experience at this dealership. The best part about my experience i would have to say was Alex Wiendenhoeft, he is a great salesman, he was extremely helpful, answered a million and one questions for me and he was honest. Although i was not ready to purchase a vehicle at the time, when i do, i wouldn't want to go to any other person but Alex. I know he will help me find the perfect, reliable vehicle i need.
Had a minor issue with the car on the way home from picking it up, called from car less than 5 miles from dealership, they wanted no part in fixing the problem. Not sure if I will even use the free lifetime oil changes, probably a scam, and I am sure I can't trust them

Wow! Never been so impressed with a dealership & my praise doesn't come easily. I come in the door skeptical & knowing the salesperson is trying to make a sale, but probably doesn't have my best interest at heart. I'm a single mother & expect the salesperson to take advantage of that...but Roy didn't. This is the 2nd newer used car I've bought. I took my time on this one & visited MANY dealerships. I was very open about that & Roy never seemed judgemental or too pushy about buying with him or his dealership. He let me look (uninterrupted), but was there when I had questions. I visited his dealership WHILE TEST DRIVING a vehicle from a different dealership. No problem! He not only allowed me, but offered to me & recommended I test drive several vehicles! By several....at least 3-5 with his dealership alone plus 5 more at other dealerships as I was struggling with staying in a crossover/SUV versus downsizing to small car. Everything was at MY convenience... squeezing in my visits, shopping, texts, questions, etc... between working full time, running kids from school to football to basketball & more. He was never too pushy when I didn't return a call or text for too long. He realized I have a busy life. When I had 15 minutes to return a car I was test driving....He quickly got the keys and let me leave without trying to keep me there and take more time. He gave me options that were in my budget. Never pushed further. Although, I was looking for newer used, he provided the pros & cons leasing & buying new. NEVER PUSHED. JUST INFORMATIVE. He was honest about pricing & what he may be able to do & absolutely could not do.
When we agreed to a purchase price via text that he had discussed with his boss...We set up a time for me to come in to sign paperwork. Upon arrival there was some discrepancy, which made me reluctant to do anything & immediately I assumed the normal car dealership garbage & fakeness was finally coming to the surface.....however Roy went to bat for the agreement & the dealership was not only willing, but eager to honor the agreement, especially considering I had taken time out of my schedule for the purpose of buying a car THAT DAY. Definitely increased my confidence in them.
Roy did many special things along the way. Very kind. Soft spoken. Honest.
The dealership staff was also was very friendly & helpful. Massage chairs! Many snacks & drinks they offered my kids when I drug them along every single visit after school or sports and they were hungry. They have a pastor that routinely visits the staff! How awesome is that! Roy spoke so highly of the owner & how the company does right by customers & employees! I am impressed & would return to this dealership in a minute. Through my dealings with other dealerships, things seemed sketchy, pushy, reluctant to be patient with my decisions or wanting to wait for something different.... I FELT NONE OF THAT HERE. Matter a fact ...I returned to shop over the course of 2-3 months b4 finally deciding to buy... at least 5 other dealerships visited. Finally bought with them!
Subaru of Muskegon takes great care of everything we need! Sales and Service are great. We recently purchased our second Subaru from them and are planning to get 300,000 miles or more out of the Outback we first purchased in 2010. Highly recommend!
I have been dealing with Josh for the past two weeks on a new Armada purchase. He was extremely helpful and patient with all of my questions. I am a very anxious car purchaser and ended up not purchasing the vehicle I had placed a deposit on. His response was very understanding and pleasant which is why I wanted to write this review (my first ever!) Fantastic transaction with Dave and Andre for my new 16 Subaru STi! Drove over three hours on a Monday for my purchase. Would not ever hesitate buying from again
We took our vehicle in to My Auto Imports in Muskegon for an oil change and to have our squeaking breaks checked. We were told that our rear break pads were completely worn out and that the calipers and bearings also needed to urgently be replaced. They told us the repairs would cost $1,250. We were skeptical so we decided to take it to a trusted mechanic in Holland for a second opinion, before investing in the costly repair.
It turns out that My Auto had been very dishonest and that we do not need any of the repairs that they told us we urgently needed. The calipers and bearings are fine and we still have 1-2 years left in the brake pads that they told us were completely gone.
We are glad that we got another opinion and very thankful to have saved the $1,250.
Although the cost of the 30,000 mile service did shock me, I did appreciate that they did take the initiative to find a fuel pump and avoid my need to schedule another appointment for the recall.
This was by far the best "dealer" to get service work done to your vehicle in West Michigan. The Service Manager Kevin was EXTREMELY open and accommodating. I live in Grand Rapids and needed my car looked at before the holidays as I was dead in the water without brakes. Local "mom and pop" shops around me could not diagnose it and the Toyota dealers local to me told me it would be 3 weeks before they could "even look at it". Feeling desperate I called My Auto Import Center and Kevin told me to bring it in the next morning and they looked at it right away. I now see the 45min drive well worth it and will be making that drive to see Kevin and these guys for anything else that my FJ needs.
We bought a car from here in December 2016 and I am just now ready to write this because of how disappointed I am/was. We were most irritated by the fact that the dealer said our loan was going to be through Huntington and I ended up getting a bill from Fifth third. Second I asked them not to run my credit through multiple banks as we were beginning the process of buying a house and then they ended up running it through multiple lenders (I told them I would look myself if they were going to do so). I feel that I was taken advantage of. There were other multiple small reasons we most likely will never buy a car here again for example the employee who sold the car to us kept leaving us and was very impatient with us, talked us into getting the coating over our car which I can't even tell a difference after it was applied, etc.
Vince DeVette was our main point of contact, and he was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and thorough about answering our questions. We felt the negotiation was fair, we got a great deal on the vehicle we wanted, and Vince & the staff at MyAuto have followed through with everything they said they would do. Everyone at the dealership was enthusiastic, professional, and we will certainly continue to give them our business. Similarly, we would feel very comfortable about recommending our friends and family to work with Vince in new sales, or Roy in used sales. 5 stars!
They did the recalls fine, but was treated with disrespect when it came to my tire sensor continued flashing, was told its because of weather, funny it has not done it before, I only have 32,000 on my car.. oh yeah it is still flashing off and on.
Everyone is friendly and professional. Never any surprises, and always willing to explain what was done and what comes next. Customer service is just plain exceptional!

We came on the ferry from Wisconsin (recommended from someone at your dealership who used to work there). I was skeptical since we only saw pictures of what would be my daughters first car purchase. Roy assured me that the car was as nice as the pictures and put my mind at ease through the many conversations (9pm even). Roy had an associate pick us up at the ferry with my daughters car and she test drove it to the dealership and fell in love with it. He answered all my questions and we felt he was truly genuine, caring, and compassionate through the process. He made sure my daughter was comfortable and he was very sincere when talking to her about her job and her own life. He reassured us that he is there for us if we need anything, even an oil change if we are ever in the area. If we ever have a problem, he said he would go to bat for us, even though we are in Wisconsin. Thanks Roy for a very pleasant experience. Dale and Kaitlyn
I have had my car serviced at Vroom and have had my car into detail at My Auto Imports. They were all very helpful and even though I was only there for the service department, everyone in the sales department was very pleasant. I will be recommending My Auto Imports to anyone looking for car.
After my mom purchased her last two cars and my grandpa purchased a new truck from My Auto Import, I was confident in buying a used Subaru Forester from here. The entire staff was extremely friendly in every area, however from my experience, this is where the positives end.
] -After negotiating a trade in on my truck, we agreed on the value if they could get my payments to $250 a month. I drove up a few days later in a snowstorm from Grand Rapids to finalize the deal. Low and behold they did get my payments down, but did not mention the extra 8 MONTHS on my loan until I called it out.
- Two days into driving the car, I noticed it smelled like oil. I called to schedule an appointment to have it checked out. The next day they had me pick it up. The maintenance clerk said the $470 job it took to fix the leak was luckily covered under my 3 month warranty . I m sorry, but I smell oil two days after purchase and I m Lucky it s covered?!! - When I traded my truck in, I was asked to mail my spare key in... yet I was given ONE set of keys with a remote unlock that was held together by two shredded rubber bands (you can t make this stuff up). I asked for a spare key and for a key fab that wasn t on its last leg and was assured it would get taken care of. Low and behold I get there and they have the spare for me, however the sales lady did not get me a new key fab- so I have two regular keys now. - The last thing that raised a red flag is the truck I traded in. It measured out at 11 city and 13 hwy MPG the last two years I owned it, however they had it listed as 14/17mpg for the next unlucky buyer.
I m not one to write reviews- good or bad, but after my mom expressed interest on going back for an FJ Cruiser, I felt obligated to share my experience with others. Like I said, it s a very friendly staff but the operations are morally questionable to say the least.
Mickala went above and beyond to make sure that I had a good experience with a costly repair. She was forward with what the repair would cost and entail before the service was performed and was willing to work around my busy schedule with a loaner vehicle.
The repairs were done quickly, correctly and the car has never felt better. Do not hesitate to bring your Audi in for service at My Audi Muskegon!

After driving various mini vans for the past 24 years and now that the last child is in high school, I wanted to change it up. I've had my eye on the Ascent since Subaru announced it's upcoming release. Using their site, I was able to narrow it down to a few dealerships in the state. Having recently moved from Ohio, I wasn't familiar with any particular dealership. I reached out to My Auto Import Center about a particular Ascent they had listed. From the get go, communication has been stellar. Desire Burley was on top of keeping in touch with me, securing an appoint and did an excellent follow-up. I met with Andre Coffee and he was able to answer all my questions, put me into an Ascent to test drive and effectively closed the deal! The experience was straightforward and professional. I was treated with respect and made to feel that my business mattered to each employee there. While there was an unexpected delay in the arrival of my Ascent, it was handled professionally and I was kept in the loop of all the details. The delay originated from the plant holding the car back for various reasons, totally out of the control of the dealership. But, still they made every effort to communicate the status including receiving text messages from Andre on the arrival status. I should add that Mandy worked very diligently with distribution in order to get the Ascent on the truck so that it could arrive by the weekend.
I thought that the Finance part of my purchase was a breeze. I submitted the online application prior to even seeing the car. When it came time to finalize everything, it was so easy. Just a matter of signing my name a few times and DONE! I couldn't have been more pleased. Jimmy Groesbeck was professional, personable and made the final piece of getting into my Ascent very smooth.
All in all, I will say that this was a very positive experience and I was treated to exceptional customer service. It's refreshing to see employees display such integrity, professionalism and kindness. I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know that is even thinking of acquiring another vehicle.
