Cliff went above and beyond to find the exact vehicle we wanted and at a price we could afford. Even sending Payton to go pick it up a few hours away for us. They were Very easy and accommodating to deal with. And Payton was very kind and showed us everything we wanted to know about the car. Best dealership to work with by far.

Had an appointment with Randon but a name mix up with another customer caused it to be cancelled. Randon quickly pulled the car around for me to test drive. Based on a few questions about what mileage and price point I was looking for, he pulled another vehicle for me to look at as well. Austin took care of me the rest of the process since Randon had other clients. Both were very helpful and polite. Austin was great at answering my questions and dealing with my trade in. Got me scheduled for a minor tail light fix while I waited for financing.

After reading previous negative Google reviews, I went to Mike Shaw Subaru with a great deal of guardedness and caution, but walked out the door a very surprised and happy customer. This is not one of those "fake" reviews posted by the dealership, as they've been accused of doing by other posters. This is an actual customer review.

When we got there, we walked around the parking lot and looked at the cars. We knew we wanted an Outback, and we found the model we wanted (it wasn't my #1 pick for color, but was on our preferred color list and had everything else we wanted, so we were flexible). Nobody came out to meet us, which was what we liked - no pressure at all while we were browsing. Then once we entered the building, salesman Sam Shaheed quickly approached us in a friendly, non-aggressive manner and offered his services. Once we sat down in his office, we made it clear we'd done our homework and knew what we wanted and what we were doing. Sam was respectful and efficient, and the haggling process didn t take long. We got our car at what we felt was a very fair price and while we were in financing, the shop was able to clean the car quickly and thoroughly and we drove it out of the lot that day.

I can't say enough about how pleasant and easy Sam made the whole experience. He was just awesome to work with, and we would go to him again if we need another Subaru in the future.

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. When we arrived Dan and Beverly greeted us as friends. During the test drive Beverly answered all our questions and provided valuable information about the car but was never pushy.

We noticed a little blemish on the dash and Dan quickly had it cleaned up while we watched so we would know it was minor. It turned out to be a little chalk.

Edgar handled our paperwork and warranty information. He was professional, friendly, and well informed, as was everyone we dealt with.

Because we got to the dealership late it was after closing time before we left. Even so, Doug took the time to answer any and all of our questions while he walked us through the navigation system.

We are very happy with the Outback we bought but we will always go back to Mike Shaw Subaru because of the staff.

This weekend I brought my car in to have my routine oil change. However, it didn't stop there. Come to find out, I needed new tires and an alignment. With that said, Tim showed EXCELLENT customer service. Being a female, I have always been told to "tread with caution" when it pertains to cars, car parts, and services. Tim not only explained the issue with my car in detail, but he also took me back to show me the problem. It made me feel reassured and confident that this was an issue that needed to be addressed. The tires I needed were not at this location, but he advised me he would make sure to get them there that day. He also followed up with me throughout the day to let me know where we were at with my car, he provided me a rental car so I was still able to function, and to top things off; I had made a comment about needing to get a car washed and he grabbed my keys and said "i'll do it." Needless to say, Tim went above and beyond for me and provided the best customer service. He made me a returning customer and set a great example for what an exceptional employee should be and left a great impression of the kind of service that Mike Shaw Subaru provides.

This was the best car buying experience I've had. Staff is honest and helpful. The service department is very professional, showing you everything they found and asking your permission before they charge anything. They also gave me a free oil change even though I didn't have the original coupon. They really honor their word here and care about their customers. The financing piece was overwhelming with the many options they present (e.g., extended warranties, maintenance plans), but I guess that's normal. Mike Shaw Subaru was the only dealership that called after we entered an online inquiry. The dealership was small but very busy. Our sales guy took his time with us explaining all the vehicle options and we bought a car the same day we visited the showroom. I would have liked to have seen a bigger selection but overall they had a good variety of cars and we ended up having to wait a few days for our car to be delivered but it was delivered to our house (which was awesome). This was by far the best finance department experience I have ever had as they really only asked if we wanted an extended warranty and that was it so there was not some hardcore sales pressure to buy the undercoating. Does anyone really know what that is? Anyway, We breezed in and out of finance in no time and were on our way. I would not hesitate to buy from thiis dealer again.

Mike Shaw Subaru was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. It was truly a no pressure situation. We were able to look at cars and take test drives and leave with no pressure. Our sales guy, Gabe, could not be beat. He was completely honest, applied no pressure, and was willing to work in our budget and with our plans. Our car happened to be stuck on a rail car for an extra 4 days and he called everyday to update the status and let us know when it was going to finally show up. I would ask for him by name if you are looking for the best car buying experience.

Not to mention we got a great price. We will be back for that next car for sure.

The customer service reps here are always super helpful and nice. Margaret went above & beyond to make sure I was not inconvenienced in anyway.I always appreciate a friendly gesture and casual conversation while I m standing at the counter. Makes you feel like you re chatting with a friend. As for the repair on my car, I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently they got it done and I m always happy when it s covered by warranty.

Was not given a quote for an oil change, had a $10 coupon and a free inspection coupon and it was still $90! I asked for NO car wash because my car was sparkly clean and they did it anyway- looked way worse with water spots and drip marks- your car wash sucks! Had to wash it again right after my appointment. Took a long time, even with an appointment. I m sure the oil change is fine. Won t be coming back.

It is so refreshing to have had an experience with my car that did not involve inflated repair cost and pushy service staff. I was referred to Mike Shaw Subaru by my mechanic because my home shop didn't have the tools to fix the problem my vehicle was experiencing. Dan Burk, the Service Advisor, was a taste of fresh air. He was kind, patient and spoke to me with respect throughout the process. As a female who knows very little about how my car works, it can be pretty frustrating to have things explained as if I am generally unintelligent. That was SO NOT THE CASE here. It is obvious that Dan has worked hard to find ways to be thorough in his explanations without being condescending, and he excels at it. I know a lot more about the functionality of my vehicle now, which is awesome! They fixed the issue rather quickly, for a good price, and even lent me a nice car to drive during the process. Thanks Mike Shaw for being RAD at what you do, and for restoring my faith in the dealership car repair experience.

Today I assisted my close friend in shopping for a vehicle. Having an idea as to which cars we were looking for, we checked them out on the lot. Within seconds we were greeted by 2 different employees, both who were extremely professional and knowledgeable about the cars and the steps needed to move forward. We test drove 2 different vehicles, and they made the decision extremely easy, and the process overall was very streamlined. They worked through numerous obstacles and we walked out with a new car. Both were honest and neither pressured us whatsoever, and as first time buyers we appreciated this more than you can imagine. Thank you to Eric and Austin for the extremely pleasant experience. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market.

I like this place because they do not overcharge. Deducting one star because they did not calibrate my TPMS after swapping out Winter tires. When I called to tell them it the service advisor was dismissive "If you want us to inflate your tires just bring it in" which is not what was needed to fix the TPMS.
UPDATE: Deducting 2 stars. I went in again for an oil change, tire rotation and brake job. At the end of the day as I was going to pick up my car, they called and said they had run out of brake pads.
When I got my car back 2 days later it was making all sorts of clanking sounds.
I had to make a second trip back and leave the car with them. They said that the tire had not been mounted properly.
What irritated me was not that they messed up but the total lack of any sort of apology for time wasted. The closest thing I got was Tim, the service advisor saying "Oh we see this about once a year" A simple "sorry for all the time this took" would have gone a long way in improving my experience. He obviously needs some training in basic service recovery!
Not sure if I will go back.

She worked hard to get us a great deal that didnt break the bank. I was working with an individual about seeing a vehicle. I was promised that it was reserved for me and that I would be the first person to see it as soon as it got back on the lot, he did all of the work to get it back on the lot early. To receive a text message from him telling me that it was sold out from under my feet this morning. This is ridiculous. I was promised by multiple people at the location that I would see it first and it was taken from under me. I will never return my business to them.

WOW! I'm not really sure where to begin? Let me start by saying we typically purchase all of our vehicles cash! My husband and I we're on the hunt for a vehicle for our seventeen-year-old. By this time we looked for vehicles on Marketplace, Cars Guru, Craigslist, etc... So we were ready to give up then decided to make one last stop in to Mike Shaw Subaru. As we were speaking to our salesman Keith he educate us on many things in regards to an old car compared to a new one, how the intrest rates work and we soon realized we could not find something within our budget that would make sence for our daughter. We had considered giving her my Tahoe and let me get something new. We discussed that with Keith and he took the time to show us how we could afford a new vehicle!! Even before we looked at cars he help us understand what we could truly afford. Keith could have put us in the most expensive car but because he truly cares for his customer's and took the time to get to know us he put us into something that we can afford and LOVE without breaking the bank! We would like to say THANK YOU to Keith for your knowledge, advice, patience, and concern! I can't say enough about the service Mike Shaw's employees extend to their customers. I dealt with Tim Dreger in the service department and he is a "one of a kind" service person who truly cares about his customers. My daughters car was towed to Mike Shaw on a Friday night and by Saturday morning he had called to say the last place that did an oil change on her car didn't tighten the oil filter tight enough which caused the oil to leak out and blow the engine. He looked the car over closely, took pictures under the car, and gave me great advise on how to handle the issue based on his experience with other cars he has seen with this same type of issue. I live in Wisconsin and needed to trust someone in CO with her car as she was in the process of moving home and everything she owned was in the car. He keep me updated weekly and even helped me with the oil change place that made the mistake and their insurance company. He treated me like I was a family member and made me feel like I was his only customer! I wish I lived in CO as Mike Shaw would be the only place I would ever buy a car or trust to have it serviced. Thank you so much Tim and the other people at the dealership who I spoke with over the last month! You are all a class act!

Brought my Legacy in for transmission work. Chris in the Service department was excellent, explained things out (I'm fairly mechanically savvy, but it was nice to hear they weren't trying to strong arm me) and kept me up to date on my vehicle with consistent phone calls. Will be returning next week to finish up the work, and definitely coming back for any work in the future. Excellent service and attention to detail, as well as customer interaction/satisfaction.

I worked with Jamie Chu in purchasing my 2009 Subaru Forester. She was great to work with, energetic, happy, involved. And she paid attention to what was going on - even though I could see that she was running 3 deals at the same time. When I got back from my test drive - she let me take the car out till I was satisfied, and was glad I was able to spend as much time with it as I needed. I probably could have negotiated a better deal - but I still got a pretty good one for the car that I got. I did find that the prices listed seemed below book - but I also am unsure of what inspections may or may not have been performed on the vehicle before it was given to me. It was supposed to be certified - and was not, so I was able to get a good deal on making sure the warrenty was there to cover anything that went wrong with the vehicle. So far I have been very satisfied with Jamie - and only wish that Mike Shaw would treat their employees more as employees, and less like free agents. It makes it very hard for them to not be completely independent on staying with the dealership.

Jamie was fantastic - but the rest of the men working that Saturday were 1-3 stars at best. When I brought the car back from a test drive, 7 salesmen were standing by the front door, trolling for business, checked me out - and no one opened the door. Not that I'm old fashioned or anything - but I consider that common courtesy in any business. Hold the door for anyone walking in. I wouldn't have felt comfortable working with anyone else except Jamie. Had I been made to - based on my previous car buying in the past - I probably would have left without taking the car - Just b/c of the salesmen.

The finance guy that I worked with was also pretty incredible.

On the day before a group of us were planning on h...

On the day before a group of us were planning on hiking Gray's and Torrey's Peak, I experienced a low battery issue and was able to get my Forester to start. But, the programming went into a diagnostic mode and the "check engine" light was on. This disabled the eyesight, cruise, and most importantly for the next day, the X-mode.
Calling Mike Shaw Subaru service on a Saturday afternoon at 4pm knowing that it was doubtful they could get me in to re-set the diagnostic system was pushing my luck.
Tim Dreger understood my dilemma and said he would do what he could if I can make it there quickly.
Long story short, Tim, Beth, and Jordan worked as a team to squeeze me in and was able to get my Forester set to go that afternoon for our 14'er the next morning!

My 85 year old mother was talked into buying a 2011 dodge charger with a 5.7 liter hemorrhoids it had a cold air intake system load exhaust she paid 16,000 for the car. She did not test drive the morning did she realize the car payment was 491.00 a month. She only has an income of 750.00 month and yet Mike Shaw Subaru was able to finance the car at 20.59 percent. My sister and I took car back to Mike Shaw Subaru they in turn said it was already funded by the bank and it was my mother's problem. I called the bank and in fact the car had not been funded by this time. So Mike Shaw Subaru could have taken car back. They lied to my sister and I. I have never been so disgusted with a dealership like this one. To take advantage of a senior citizen like my mother. Today was my first experience with Mike Shaw Subaru, and five stars doesn't quite do it justice. This was the best, friendliest and most informed service I've ever received (thank you, Matt). The facility has excellent customer waiting areas complete with WiFi and a coffee machine that seems to do everything. They were very efficient, too, delivering my car earlier than promised.
