The service department is top notch. Getting my Crosstrek repaired was a really pleasant experience. A driver gave me a ride home across town after I dropped my vehicle off. When I came back to get it they gave it a free car wash.

Cliff helped me trade my older subbie for a newer used crosstrek. Super easy, super quick. Would recommend.

Ended up buying a Subaru at a different dealership in California. The selection was not what we were looking for. Somewhat pushy salesman.

After today I might be taking, my car somewhere else i use to like this place but i started to notice my wife was havimg to get oil changes more often than me and i drive more, so i payed attiton and last time she came home the sticker said oil change in 1000 miles but it only happens when she takes the car in and not when i do, and today calling for 4hrs to find out the status of my car thats been there since friday, and i walk in to r techs standing around and the 5th actualy helping someone, so why could I not get anyone on the phone? So depending on what happens next time I might start going somewhere else

I mean what can I say. Cliff made the whole experience very easy and answered all my questions. Even after buying my car he has kept in contact with me and also helping me with my old lease. I recently purchased a used Subaru Forrester from Mike Shaw Subaru. Throughout my sale experience I was taken care of honestly and totally. One of the seat belts was cut and that was replaced at no cost. Since my purchase I encountered a service problem. Beth worked to help me achieve the most with my warranty, relieving all of my stress by handling a very expensive fix. Rather than feeling skeptical and used, this dealership has made me feel supported. I trust this company and am thankful I decided to purchase here.

I had a great experience leasing a Legacy from Doug Gleason. I told him up front what I could pay per month and he made it work. He even drove an hour away to pick up the car so I could have it immediately. Flatirons Subaru was not nearly as accommodating and wanted to charge an additional $42 per month more!

If these guys call you to try and buy your car from KBB or Autotrader DO NOT fall for it. They act like they're super interested in your car then you drive all the way there (we lived over an hour away) and they immediately try to low ball you for way less than they offered before. It gave me a really bad taste and totally turned me off of ever wanting to do business with them.

It is always a pleasure to work with them when buying a new car.

We had to buy a new sport / family car ahead of schedule, and since we were set on a Subaru we shopped Mike Shaw online. I sent an inquiry about a model in stock and received an email response in less than ten minutes. I very quickly had an appointment to come in to look at a specific car the next day. When I got there at my appointment time, our contact Cliff had the car parked out front waiting for us to jump in and take a test drive. Cliff was extremely polite and knowledgeable thru the whole process, filled us in on every conceivable detail we would possibly need, and was helpful all around. After we decided to purchase the car and had gone thru the paperwork, Cliff walked us out to the car and specifically showed us all the dash features, even helping link my smartphone to the built in bluetooth! Cliff was AMAZING!! He truly was what made the experience of get a new car painless! We unexpectedly needed to get a car and Cliff went through all the pros and cons of what could work best for our budget. Conversation with him was so comfortable, it didn't feel like he was trying to up sell us on unnecessary things. And he was so sweet and patient with our hungry children (it was evening). Everyone at the dealership was so kind as well. Cliff was recommended to us by a close friend and he completely lived up to and surpassed what we were expecting.

I have been going to Mike Shaw to purchase my Subarus and to get all of their routine and emergency maintenance done since 2012 and its a great place to go. I just recently purchased an Outback from Stevi and I highly recommend her! Also, Stephen in the maintenance department was excellent at helping me get in for all of the maintenance I had done on my Impreza!

My wife and I bought a 2020 Outback and 2021 Crosstrek from Mike Shaw Subaru. Mike Shaw is a good dealership but this review if for the salesman we used for both purchases, Alex Comar.
Alex is a great salesman because he is calm, does not push the sale, and because he understands cars, especially Subaru.
For the person that is not an auto enthusiast and just looking for a reliable car with AWD to get to the mountains and back you can trust his advice and answers to your questions.
For the person that is an auto enthusiast you can have a car conversation with someone that knows as much and in many cases more about cars than you do.
Overall, great experience working with Alex and he is the go to person for when my wife and I buy our next Subaru.
Also, don't use the make of a car (especially Ford) as your email ID because you most likely will have the email longer than the car.

When we arrived at the Mike Shaw Subaru dealer we were only looking and trying to agree on a new or new/used car for the family. Keith T. assisted us test drive and look at both new and used cars as he was patiently helping us decide. My husband liked Keith because he knew and understood cars on a mechanical level from his previous career as a mechanical shop owner. We knew we wanted a manual speed (that is already hard to find with more than a couple of choice) and found a new 2018 Subaru Forester Premium. I love it!! It was easier to buy a new car than shopping at Verizon for phones on our plan the same week. We are so happy with our service and added to tinted windows, fog lights and clear bra coverage for the front.

Recently took my CrossTrek in for the super basic 44K service-really just an oil change, tire rotate and once-over. Tim actually remembered me from the last time, literally years ago. Super friendly. I d decided to wait since it was only going to take 1.5 hours. Well, of course, it took longer. Life and a busy shop. They discovered a few other small things and then waived the charges because it took so long. Car purrs. It s inevitably time consuming to do the maintenance, but worth it and these folks are friendly and do good work.

Just had my car in for the 60,000 mile service and received really fine service from Matt Rumbaugh. Was another great experience at Mike Shaw - the car was done sooner than expected, received a 10 minute chair massage while waiting, accessed the internet and got work done! To top it off my car was washed and looking sharp when I left!

I recently went to this Subaru location to get my headlights changed and I asked them to run a diagnostics on my outback while i was there since i had an oil leak & noticed my car smoking a bit. I was asked if i noticed any knocking while driving. I told them not really except when i start driving without warming up my car but it was pretty rare. I was informed that my short block assembly was going out, but since it was an expensive fix i just told them to change my headlights. When i got my car back the knocking went from being a rare occurence to becoming basically constant. I don't want to blame anyone but this isn't the first time ive gotten my car back from this location and it's run worse than when I brought it in. The customer service was good though. Matt was very knowledgeable, friendly, and he communicated things with me in a timely fashion. He was the best part of the experience but I had to buy a new car 2 weeks after "just replacing headlights" because i no longer felt safe driving it. Ive tried this location 3 times to service my vehicle and if i need work done on my new vehicle I'll be going somewhere else.

Cliff Swaim is the best. We would probably shop around if cliff weren't there. We have leased 5 cars through him and he has always been super helpful and honest. We have sent several family and friends in to see cliff specifically.
Again, when we need a new car I call cliff first. If he weren't at mike shaw then who knows what cars we would be driving.

We weren't sure if we were going to find anything within our price range but Jacob was amazing with giving us all the options available and we were able to leave with a 2020 brand new car which was amazing and unexpected.

My wife and I had a very pleasurable and smooth experience working with Alex Comar at Mike Shaw Suburu. Alex showed us a 2016 Impreza a couple months ago. We were interested, but after some further research we decided the 2017 was worth the wait (it is an incredible car, look it up!) So after some phone and email communication with Alex, he reserved the exact car we wanted for us and sold it to us brand spanking new (literally only 8 miles on it). Furthermore, he honored a price match from a quote we received at another dealership. He was not pushy at all, was very easy to communicate with, and was a pleasure to chat with while we waited for all the business things to get cleared up.

I would highly recommend working with Alex. Hopefully we will be back in a couple of years to buy an Outback from him!

The dealer replaced both rear coil springs per a recall. They also performed an Oil change, which is step 1 of checking for excessive oil consumption per a class action suit. I need to bring it back at 1200 miles to check the oil level. The work was satisfactory but it took over 2 days, which was longer than I expected for those 2 things.

Jacob was the best car salesman I ve worked with. Very polite and friendly with no cutthroat attitude that would ve otherwise sent me out the door. Helped me find the right car that fit my price/needs. Highly recommend. Thanks!

Tim in Service was outstanding!! Thank you for such wonderful customer service. A quick oil change place messed up my transmission and they fixed it at Mike Shaw. Went in for a timing belt replacement, but was alerted to the drive belt being worn, as well. My car runs great now! Thank you again for the great service.

I purchased one of used vehicles from Mike Shaw Suburu. I was very pleased with the experience I had. The customer service is excellent. I came, checked the car, and in 1 hour was signing documents without any down payment.
Since couldn't take the car home right away, a sales manager agreed to keep the car for almost a week; and didn't give me it until washed and cleaned it.
I recommend Mike Shaw Suburu to everybody.

My car was damaged. It was not my fault or the cars. After driving in Colorado for 22 years, it was emotionally traumatic. TEVON talked to me at 10 at night, working with me the entire time, supporting me and helping guide me. He did not have to do this; He chose to be kind and compassionate.

Randon Givens, Tevon, and everyone at Mike Shaw has been nothing short of amazing. I will never use another dealership. The customer service I received has earned my unending loyalty.

Shopped around for a while for a crosstrek. Came into Mike Shaw and worked with Tyler. He was able to help make a lot of features make sense, and made the monthly payments more reasonable than any other dealer we went to. Highly recommend Mike Shaw and even more so, Tyler.

Everything took much longer than expected. 1.5 hr for an express oil change when i was told 45 min. Social distancing was basically impossible in the service area. My service person was nice, but overall it was chaos in there.

came in for an oil change. They destroyed the drain plug and didn't have a replacement. Had to wait hours. Parked in the garage and when I went to leave the next morning about 3/4 of the oil was on the garage floor. Took car in right away and have been here an hour. Wouldn't recommend this service shop to anyone. They say I have to buy a oil pan because "the drain plug threads wore themselves out" had no choice but to let them replace it. Got home and see it dripping already. Manager named Reggie saw the negative review and said not to come back even though newly installed pan was sent home leaking. Had to take my car to a different mechanic and pay $175 for labor and a new gasket since the new one was improperly installed and ruined. So I paid $300 in the end just because I needed an oil change and took it to mike Shaw Subaru. And they are mad at me. Thanks Reggie good business practices

Steven from Service was awesome! When repair needs came up as part of 75K service, he helped figure out how to get repairs and keep costs down. They were fast, thorough, and helpful. Had the same experience when I purchased the car here.
