Recently I bought my car from this dealership and I liked it a lot. They are very friendly people. Specially Nathaniel Jones (Nate)! He was the sales person for my car,who has good knowledge about cars and very nice and friendly. Even if I need any information about car now, still he helps me about it. If any of you want to buy car from this dealership, I would recommend to meet Nate and get his help!

The customer service is extremely poor. I was accused of bringing my vehicle in with multiple service lights on. Which, none of them were on prior to them changing my oil. Then the rep/receptionist was very defensive and combative with me.
The service manager, as in the past, did an excellent job. The actual oil change service left something to be desired. The oil change dashboard indicator was not reset, and oil dripped on my garage floor after I got home.
I love Pearson Honda because when you have an appointment they get right to you and you are in and out as soon as possible and they are really good and conscientious . They do not try to sell you extra service but will let you know if they see anything that needs attention. Today I had oil changed, tires rotated, pressures set and fluids topped off for less than I paid for just an oil change when I made the mistake of going to Jiffy Lube
I had an amazing sales experience with Josh Blizard! Josh was incredibly knowledgeable about the car I was interested in, and he helped me get the price I was looking to pay. He was extremely friendly, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a car at Pearson. Josh was down to earth, and he did not try any of those "salesperson tactics" that one might expect from a car dealership. Josh truly made my car buying experience a pleasant and easy one. Additionally, the rest of the staff was helpful and welcoming throughout the entire process - especially Krystal! She was very sweet, and of course, she has an awesome name! :-) This is a wonderful business!
I had excellent service from Brenden when I was looking into purchasing an Xterra. He answered all my questions and was extremely helpful through the whole process!
Our salesman was Don Young. Very personable. I d highly recommended him if you re looking to buy a Honda. He took the time to understand our wants. No high pressure at all. Very knowledgeable.
Very dependable, excellent service. It s something of a quandary to me that whatever the repair, regardless of having an appointment, for even the smallest thing, it must take an hour at least. Also, that leaving your car, arranging for someone else to pick you up, while the car is worked on, does not mean your car will be fixed! I thought leaving the car was the right move because it gives the shop the freedom to work it into their day. But apparently, you must stay to be seen to for sure. These are, again, just areas of befuddlement for me, not whole-hearted criticisms. I think Pearson Honda is the very best place to bring all (3) of our Honda s for service.
Dropped my car off for an oil change and brake inspection. Everything went great as always. Been coming up here for almost 6 years. Everyone is always so nice. Zach in the service dept was awesome and all the hardworking people that make sure my cars are road ready. Thanks
Very good,. Scott (sales rep) was very nice, friendly and professional. I was looking at Yukon resale but too expensive. Thanks for being a quality dealership and for the beautiful big America flag you fly. Pat Faivre
I adore this dealership, every single time I take my car in, the issue is resolved fast and professionally. The worst part is when you call in and try to set an appointment, sometimes it takes hours until someone picks up that phone. Overall, I am satisfied with them and they are the best around Richmond area.
After inquiring yesterday about 2 pre owned Hondas I was given the cold shoulder by Eric Gibson in internet sales. I told him I was trading in my Honda and had a substantial down payment and was ready to purchase. He told me he would get back to me in 5 min after speaking with a sales manager about my offer NO CALL Internet sales team sucks!!! Seems like Eric is a flunky You could tell right away his lies on the phone and his heavy sales tactics, then never called back. I did not enjoy the pressure over the phone . I will be purchasing my car from West Broad Honda even though I live close to Pearson This may be an isolated incident but beware of internet sales.
I went to Pearson on the advice of a family member after my car was wrecked. Nate Jones was our salesman and couldn't have been any nicer. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. If he didn't know, he quickly found out. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a car. Margaret S
Mr. Troy Bell was very personable and professional during my sale. He answered all of my questions and was up front about everything! Also, he went over every feature in the car before driving off the lot. This was the first time buying a car myself and the process was super easy thanks to Mr. Troy and Mr. Rick!!!
I took a Accord there for an inspection and repair the power window buttons. They could not replace the buttons. They had to replace the whole unit for $500 bucks. I asked them to check the whole car (fluids, belts, tires) because the car had been sitting for a while. I specifically asked that they check the tires because the indicator light was on. When they delivered it the light was still on. A service tech said to drive it and it would go out. It didn't. When I took it back, they had to find a manager to get permission to to check the air in the tires. I don't know if they checked all of the tires are or stopped when the light went out. When I went to use my washer fluid over the weekend, it was dry. Both of these items had been marked off as "checked". I spoke to the manager stating I had lost trust in their shop and unless I needed Honda specific parts, I would be taking my business elsewhere. He gave me his card and said I should call him and he would assure my vehicle was properly repaired. If they don't do the little things, how do I know if they checked everything they said they did?
Took my new 2018 Honda Pilot in for service Sunday evening, July 15, 2018. The interior dome light stayed on while driving down the road, and the car stuck in 1 gear twice when I had to hit the breaks hard, and then accelerate quickly afterwards. (getting on 288) Had to pull off the road, turn the car completely off and restart to get it back to normal. Asked to have the oil changed, and tires rotated also. Called Monday around 3 pm because I had not heard from anyone. Jeff called me back and said they were finishing up at that time, and the recall work was done. Didn't know about a recall, but that was fine. Asked him about the 2 things I brought my car in for, and after a minute was told that the service guy could not "recreate" the problem. Jeff said the service guy drove my vehicle and the dome light was not on, and the brakes and acceleration was fine. I was probably driving 2 footed to make the car not accelerate properly, and had a door not shut properly to make the dome light stay on. (I am 60 years old, raised 5 boys, drag raced for years, I think I know how to drive, and to check doors to see if they are open before asking for something to be checked.) I expressed this to Jeff, told him I checked this, and that I was going to be very irritated to come pick up my vehicle and find the dome light still staying on. He told me he would have it checked again, and I said I would pick up my vehicle on Tuesday. 12 noon Tuesday I arrive to get my vehicle, go to pay the cashier and ask about the oil change and tire rotation. She looks at my paperwork and says, "Yes this was done, and they could not find a reason for the "check engine" light being on. What?? My car pulls up and the service guy gets out saying "That dome light won't cut off no matter where you put the button, that must be what the lady was talking about" Jeff was standing outside with us and did not know what to say. I was pissed. Guess no one actually drove my car after all. So, did any off the work really get done? Was my oil really changed???I guess it is really hard to "recreate" a problem when no one actually drives the car. Went up front and asked for the service manager. Girl called, no one answered. She paged him. Waited 10 more minutes, no one showed, she called again. Was told he was in his office and would not be coming up front. I left. I will follow up with the Better Business Bureau. Girlfriend went to the parts department today to order her clutch for a 2013 civic si. She had previously gotten a quote from colonial Honda. Which was over $200 dollars cheaper than what she was quoted today. Why is there a need to inflate the price over $200?
I contacted Pearson Honda on a late Wednesday afternoon to see if I could possibly bring my vehicle in for it s regular service at the last minute since Iwas scheduled to go out of town the next day. I was able to schedule my appointment for 8Am and was out in an hour. The staff was Super Nice, kind and efficient. Everyone was rocking an Early Morning Smile for customers and were eager to assist and that was Awesome. Keep the same energy every day. I ll be sure to come back. Thanks so much Pearson Honda
Frank Goodman is the best car salesman that I have ever dealt with! We just purchased a 2016 CRV from Pearson and it was great - the deal, the dealership - everything a car buying experience should be. Frank's knowledge of the vehicles was outstanding and he really made us feel comfortable with our choice. Thank you Frank!
Very pleasant Nice personal. Convince service. Car in and out in.ample time. Agent was very notable of what was going on pointed out any things, that I needed to know about. Good service will.come into Hull street location.again. rated
Bought a used car here, and they pulled a bait and switch on the price. We ended up paying $1000 more than it was listed online because we were told by the salesperson "the price went up $1000" but was not updated on the website. What baloney. Oh and by the way, when we walked in to look at the car (for which we had an appointment), we were handed off to some other sales person who we had never spoken to before and told "the car was sold to someone else" which was also baloney. Would never ever purchase a car here again. Watch out - this place and at least one of the sales people are crooked.
The most unpleasant sales experience I have ever had at a dealership. Service is usually great, but I was very surprised how I was treated as a perspective buyer.
My daughter have been looking for a car for a while. She contacted Mr Frank Goodman via email from the use inventory site. After meeting him on Sept.16, 2018 he was determined to find something for my daughter. On Sept. 21 he called and said she was approved. This was the BEST 20th BIRTHDAY for her. it wasn't a honda but it was a use car you had on the lot. 2012 Chevy Malibu. Thanks Mr. Frank you are the man. lol
I had an excellent experience buying a used vehicle from Pearson. I located the vehicle on the internet and emailed to get additional information. I was able to do most of my communications via email and text, but also spoke with Troy Bell with internet sales as well. He was excellent to work with and very responsive. He made sure I had all the information I needed ahead of time and also facilitated getting paperwork and the vehicle ready prior to me getting to the dealership. I highly recommend Troy and the dealership.
Unfortunately I went to Service in June and had a terrible experience. Have a 2016 Honda Civic and A/C was not cooling. Service Director was terribly rude and did not want to assist in rectifying problem. Honda Corp. stepped in and took over. Prior to this, never had a problem but first time dealing with Service Director. Update 8/2019 still not cooling. Blowing air 80 degrees. Called and told them right after bringing car home. Taking car back. Check out Yelp reviews!!
Josh Blizard made the buying experience an enjoyable one. Went out of his way to help us. It was great doing business with you, Josh. I ll be looking for you the next time I need a car.
Our experience with the recent purchase of my Honda CRV Touring model was nothing less than Perfection!! Everyone from the Receptionist to the Sales manager, Phil Kelsey were extremely helpful! We felt no pressure to purchase the car at the dealer as we have with other dealerships. Everything about the purchase and the vehicle was explained very well by our sales consultant, Joe England in a manner that was very understandable. Pearson Honda has clearly stood up to their reputation of being the BEST Honda dealership!! I was not able to find a better price anywhere including All those Internet advertisements. I would never purchase a Honda anywhere else after experiencing the kind of professionalism and support here at Pearson! Thanks everyone for the GREAT experience in purchasing my 2015 CRV Touring model!! Keep up the good work!!
Courteous service. They were very busy but utilized teamwork to show us the cars that we were interested in. Negotiation was fairly haggle-free. Everyone was extremely helpful and they we're able to order the car with specific features that we desired very rapidly. Also very generous finance deal.
I recently purchased a vehicle from Pearson Honda and had a wonderful experience. Butch helped us find a vehicle that fit our needs, walked us through the process and we got a great deal. During the weeks I was making my decision he was very attentive, easy to reach and always available when I had questions.
Charles Gatskin and Leah were simply PHENOMENAL! The word PHENOMENAL is not enough to describe them. They helped me get out of a car situation that seemed almost impossible. They made the transition and transaction smooth and effortless. They thoroughly explained all of my options. They did not haggle and hassle me like most car dealerships. They asked me my budget, got me exactly to my budget and were very straightforward. Thank you! Thank you! And Thank you. I wish all dealerships would adapt your principles and morales.
Love this place, excellent service, sales, you name it, very uplifting, positive staff, and fair. Quick response time when buying a car, and when getting repairs. Well managed dealership.
I took my Honda van for a factory recall fix of a seatbelt, and came away with a broken nav system! I don't know what they did to my FULLY FUNCTIONAL nav, but they certainly offered to "repair ' it for a fee! ONLY a $1k fix...How convenient, no? I pointed out the fact that my car worked fine before taking it there, and they said they weren't at fault, and had their General manager call me to say more of the same. I'm a female, and don't like dealing with car issues, so it was such a headache and disappointment!! A friend of mine told me she always checks her car, and takes pictures before taking it there bc her van seems to come away with NEW problems when she takes it to Pearson Honda . Another mechanic ended up fixing what they damaged, and it was something Pearson had disconnected. Lesson learned! He didn't like Pearson either. Hmmmmm..... Will NEVER take my car there again, and certainly not buy a car from them! I've found West Broad Honda, though father from me, always does right by me. They've helped guide me through my car's issues, and i did not feel like they were trying to take advantage of me.
Excellent Service by Greg Gohlke and the folks at Pearson Honda. Easy to deal with, no pressure sales folks. Greg was very pleasant to deal with and happy to let me drive any vehicle on the lot! Buy with confidence!!
I got to the showroom at 6:30pm. When I finished test driving the car it was around 7:20pm. I had to sit and wait to get to the financing table for almost 2 hours (I got back there at 9 which is when they close.) The finance officer I worked with rushed me through the paper work and now that I have reviewed it I realized I was charged more for the car than I should have been. I don't know if my age (24) or any other social factors affected how I was treated and rushed through the process.
Whether you choose Pearson Honda or any other dealership, DO NOT LET THEM RUSH YOU OR MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. At the end of the day, it is your money and you will be the one stuck with the car.
Not impressed. Just bought a used Honda Civic to replace our totaled car. We saw the car online so I guess they assign the weakest sales people to internet sales, since there really was no selling, just a lot of hemming and hawing on the price. It was late in the day when got there and test drove the car. It seemed fine, but in the light of day we noticed that there was a burn hole in the driver's seat. I was pretty bummed since the first thing I mentioned to the sales lady was how we didn't like our rental due to the heavy smoke smell and that we are not smokers. She just nodded her head. Anyway, have tried to get the hole fixed and am just told they'll call us back. Luckily we're not holding our breath, or that is we're only holding breath while in the car. Hoping the faint smoke smell and whatever they sprayed to cover it up fade soon.
Had an awesome experience with Greg Gohlke. He had a answer for every single question about the car we bought my mom for her birthday. Its a bit high tech for her but he helped her learn everything about it and feel comfortable and excited about this car. He was amazing! Impressed my father as well which to be honest is a very hard task . Im just so happy that everyone made this such a great experience especially for her Birthday.
Also my mom mentioned Leah Bautistec was amazing. Great personality. Very knowledgeable. Very nice not pushy about anything but got everything done quickly.
They both got things done fast but also made it fun and exciting. Thank you so much.
Excellent fair priced service. They work very hard to satisfy you. Dealers often get a bad reputation for auto repair but Pearson works very hard to diminish that image.People very nice but very busy...special kudos to the man who was making coffee...he went far and beyond to find me a driver for their courtesy car to take me home. If they continue with this type of service their business will increase.AND special thanks to their manager, leaders set the culture.
I brought my CRV up here to have the wiper sprayer and break light fixed bc it was hanging down. When I got the car back, a dash panel was sitting in the floor of the passenger floor, my front windshield was cracked at the base where the wiper sprayer is AND the weak glue job on the break light fell down the next day, smearing it down my back window.
They fixed nothing, broke some more stuff and then charged me for it. Never again.
I have not had a car payment or a newer car in over 10 years so looking for a new car and parting with my mini van was hard. However with A LOT of nagging from my husband to finally get the kids and I a reliable car; I did my research and decided a Honda was what I wanted and to be specific a Honda Pilot. It provides the space I still need for our family and gas mileage that would match my mini van with the option of the 3rd seat going down for more cargo space. We walked into Pearson and Scott Reyes was there to help. We told him my budget and the 2 used Pilots we wanted to see and drive. Scott was so down to earth almost like we had known each other for years yet we just met. He was not pushy or that typical "sales" guy to me. They kept to their Pearson Promise of staying in our budget and worked to be sure my extended warranty fell into that budget as well. Scott stayed in touch the entire weekend and got me the one I wanted. If you are looking to buy I would highly recommend Scott & Pearson!
I went to Pearson Honda to buy a new car, it was a great experience especially compared to many other places I looked at. I worked with Troy Bell and he was a real awesome guy. He let you look at what you wanted and wasn't too pushy as many other car sales people tend to be. I would most definitely recommend buying a car from here. Especially from Troy as he will give you a good deal, and get you through the car buying process quick and make it enjoyable.
I love the new car josh blizzard sold me. He is the best. He gave me such a awesome deal. I suggest you come down and buy a car here. Make sure you ask for Josh Blizzard. He will make your dreams come true.
They have a larger inventory of Hondas at this dealership than others I d been to. I was quickly attended to by Scott Reyes who spent a lot of time answering my questions, showing me my options and test driving the car with me. Within 3 hours, and quick & painless processing by Leah Bautista, I left my rental there for them to return to Enterprise and drove home in my new car. A very swift and smooth transaction!
Shopped here in 2016 and had a great experience, low pressure and they offered to order exactly what we wanted (even though we just ended up getting an Explorer from Sheehy). The new Pilot had too much of a minivan feel to us and it s concerning in general to me that Honda cars still have timing belts.
This place is terrible mainly because of the customer service. I called just to get an estimate and the service representative act like it hurt him to do that. He kept saying that they havent done a diagnostic which really shouldn't keep you from giving a customer an estimate. I already had a diagnostic completed so I was calling for estimates. At the end of the call he pretty much hung up on me. This is ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE SERVICE. I would not recommend this place at all.
I purchased my Honda from a used car lot but have utilized Pearson s services three times now. The first was for the airbag recall a few years ago and recently the sensor has been acting up. They were able to shuttle me home last time and this time they quoted an accurate wait time, down to the exact minute. They replaced the part today, so hopefully that will be a permanent fix, but either way everything has been covered by a lifetime warranty so I ve never paid a dime for any of these repairs!
Sean and the folks at Pearson Honda were great to work with. I could not of had a better experience with their no push attitude and willingness to do whatever they can to help you. My advice for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle would be to use Pearson Honda if kindness during the process is what you re looking for...and I even bought a Toyota from them:)
Although the quality of work is note the point of this review, waiting one and a half hours for an oil change is a bit much. After an hour I asked about my car and was told it won't be long. At one hour and twenty I ask again and mentioned that taking this long for just an oil change causes people like me to think twice. His response: "OK"!!! SERIOUSLY? I had an appointment: its not as if they fit me in. Grrrrr
Working with Brenden Young was one of the best car buying experiences I've had. His professionalism and honesty are above reproach. I drove 90 minutes to work with Brenden and Pearson Honda. Well worth the time.
Normally a great place and people. But this time I feel I was taken advantage of because I was getting a state inspection. Had just gotten a everything looks good with the car not so long ago, to you need brakes. Will not be going back to the dealership for state inspection again. Do not use State Inspection as a opportunity to make money off of loyal customers.
Nathaniel "Nate" Jones was a very empathetic salesperson and he was a great help with the purchase of my new ride. Hopefully he'll be around to help when it's time for my son's first car...would most definitely use him and Pearson Honda again in the future.
I truly appreciate the service at Pearson Honda Hull Street Road. All of them from service managers, to mechanics, to shuttle drivers are so helpful and willing to go that extra mile to provide great customer service. I have nothing but good things to say about this business and would definitely recommend them.
Very clean and nice place. The people were very nice and polite. They got me in and out in a reasonable time. Thank you guys soo much for the great customer service.
We've had Subarus for years and had great service at the Pence dealership on Midlothian so when we decided to get a used CR-V, we were concerned about starting from scratch at a new place with new folks. I was quickly and pleasantly surprised to find that the Pearson on Hull Street has FABULOUS service folks. Will Lenga contacted me via email before my appointment and was able to answer my many questions and get me estimates and options prior to the visit. When a few issues were found with the car during the inspection, he called and explained in detail everything as well as laid out the costs plus pros/cons of fixing each itemized issue on the list. He also was very patient with my Mom who brought the car in for service, describing everything that was done in great detail. This is the kind of service I wish was provided at every dealership and am happy we found a great place to take care of our car for years to come.
The car is great. The salesmen are ridiculously aggressive. He called me four different times the same night to tell me his coworker took the car I was looking at home and I needed to put a credit card down for a deposit. The last time he called was to let me know that I didn't have to worry about any of the stuff he said earlier and that the car would be ready and waiting for me to get it the next day.
We have never liked the car buying experience. Then my wife and I went to Pearson Honda and we met with Charles Carr. Best car buying experience in 30 years. No pressure, no hassle and Charles listened to our every need. He showed us several vehicles and had a great knowledge on each of them. We will be buying two vehicles in the near future. I can assure you Pearson Honda and Charles Carr will be getting my business again.
Excellent service department!! Sales people are more than accommodating to help you purchase your dream car...and walk you through step by step any unfamiliar technology!!
Waylon was so helpful and straight forward as to what I needed, and told me what would be needed in the future for keeping my vehicle in its best performance level. I always get a good feeling whenever I bring my vehicle to Pearson. I know that I m in good hands with a knowledgeable staff and highly trained automotive service department.
Pearson is and always have been professional and knowledgeable when it comes to my car. I will ALWAYS use Pearson for servicing my vehicle. Thanks Pearson!
Charles Carr was great to work with. He made things pretty easy and we love our new Honda. Also kudos to the man who processed all the paperwork. Clearly organized and seamless.
