I went to Pearson Honda for the first time this morning to get an oil change on my 2008 Civic. Let me just say, this place has stellar service! Prompt, respectful and all-around great service. The price was reasonable, and the staff was wonderful. 5 stars! Will return.

I was pleased with my recent visit to Pearson Honda to receive my servicing for my Honda Civic. I made my appointment over the phone, which was quick and easy. My servicing was completed in a timely manner. The associates were helpful and knowledgeable.

Purchased my new car last week and service was awesome. My product specialist was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. With a quality product like Honda that just makes the process so much better.

Definitely better experience than other dealerships I have visited. The staff was very friendly and the service was efficient. I took my car here for service, so I can't comment about sales, but I noticed a lot of people shopping for vehicles. The doughnuts and coffee were a nice touch for my kids too.

I have been looking at the 2018 hatchback Honda Civic for a few months. I worked with Charles Gaskins and he was very prompt in getting the car I wanted. I recommend Pearson Honda for fast, reliable and prompt service.

I have purchased many cars from Pearson Honda and I ve never been disappointed. They are willing to work with you, don t waste your time with trying to work out a deal. Very straightforward and super friendly. I just bought a car from them and worked with Troy Bell and Greg Gohlke, both were a pleasure to deal with. I will only buy my cars from them in the future! I d give them a 10 ! They are family for sure.

Slow service and poor communication
The car was dropped off in the morning just after 8a. When dropping it off, I indicated I would be back after 5p to pick it up. I had not heard from the service center at 3p so I started the calling to find out the status. After multiple attempts to reach the service consultant and leaving multiple messages I finally got them on the phone at about 5p. I was told what was needed to fix the car and how much it would cost. I was then told it wouldn't be ready until the next day. I was finally able to pick up the car a little before 5p on Thursday. Even while picking up the car, they had to take the car back to finish up something they didn't complete.
The facility is very nice, the drop-off/pick-up area and waiting area very clean and stylish. However, I will probably think twice before I have my car serviced here again.

My salesman Frank Goodman was excellent to help us purchase 2015 Honda CRV on New Year Eve. I initially corresponded with Mr. Goodman on emails when looking at different vehicles. We were able to narrow down a price on a vehicle before we met up and sign the paper. I would recommend Pearson Honda to anyone that is interested to purchase a new car.

We had visited one other Honda dealership, one out of Richmond, but decided to give Pearson Honda a try. We went on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted by sales rep Fermin Trompeta. He was wonderful, knew the cars, and led us through the entire process flawlessly on his part. He is the best vehicle salesman I have dealt with in five decades of buying vehicles. The lady in finance, Mrs. Bergman, also was wonderful and helped us get a good rate. My wife and I would highly recommend this dealership. Based on our experience, Pearson Honda gets five stars! And yes, we purchased the car we wanted -- a 2015 Honda Civic. We love it and we love this very positive experience in purchasing the vehicle. Thank you, Pearson Honda!

Great buying experience thanks to Butch Bowler and Mark Wilhelm. This is the second vehicle we have bought through Butch. Would also like to add that they have a service adviser named Jeff Linke that is second to none. He is probably the biggest reason I drove an hour to Pearson instead of 20 minutes to my closest Honda dealer.

It was super fast service which I very much appreciated. However, I was confused by the recommendations for services that I've already had within the last six months. After advising the staff, they researched and discovered I was right. I recommend you should check the maintenance records before making your recommendations or suggestions because it is expensive as well as confusing.

Low air tire displayed on dashboard. When I got there tire was actually going flat. They offered to plug it, but due to tire damage had to buy new tire. All of this was not scheduled and within a few hours all was done. Great service.

I bought a vehicle from Pearson Honda yesterday. It was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had , thanks to Troy Bell and Charles Carr. These to two gentleman went above and beyond to assist me in making my purchase. I never felt pressured and they provided me with every bit of information I requested to ensure that I could make the right decision. I left the dealership the same day only a few hours after walking in, with my new car. Troy and Charles are a rare breed in the car sales industry and set a standard in which all should follow. Thank you so much Troy and Charles.

Just bought my Civic Si from here and worked with Jason Cattie. I knew what I was looking for which none of the dealerships had in their lot. Jason did an amazing job finding the exact car I wanted and got the car delivered in a timely manner without any issues. My experience with Jason and the Pearson staff was great and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Pearson is great. Frank Goodman was very easy to deal with. He was ready to sell me a car without being pushy. He told me, "let me know what I can do to gain your business." I told him what that was, and he made it work. This was my first car buying experience and I think it went very well. Thanks again Frank!

One of the best service experiences I have ever had. Scheduled an appointment on Saturday for a state vehicle inspection the following Monday at 4:30pm. Drove in, immediately got help from Scott, car was inspected right on time and Scott even had a coupon for a free inspection so not only did I get out of there in thirty minutes but it did not cost me a dime. Certainly beats out all of the tire shops on Hull Street that will not take appointmens for state inspectios and expect you sit around all day.

My husband & I had the best experience there buying a car yesterday! Charles Haskins was super and Ricki Overbey did a fantastic job of helping us buy the car we wanted. I will tell everyone about our car buying experience. Thank you again Charles for getting to the keys first!! We are very happy about our purchase. Thank you so much.

Use to be really awesome. Super fast and good prices, but the last two times I've been there it has taken over 2 hours to get an oil change done. That's with an appointment. They also raised the prices and didn't tell me. All though, I should have asked upfront. I've been going there for over two years now though. Everyone in service was helpful and friendly. Especially the Porter's!

Recently brought my van in to Pearson for routine maintenance. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and honesty (we asked for tire rotation and the mechanic said it didn t need it)... that meant a LOT to me! Thank you, Pearson Service Department! I plan to use your services going forward!

This is the second time we've driven all the way to Pearson Honda to get a repair done on one of our cars and it came back NOT FIXED. We are very frustrated and don't understand why things can't be done properly the first time!

The best car buying experience we have had...Troy Bell our sales consultant asked my wife and I questions to help choose the model of CR-V that would be a good fit...and was very knowledgeable about the car and it's features, especially the many driving safety advantages.

After our test drive, we were ready to discuss pricing...Troy asked to give him a few minutes, and came back with a price that was on the low end range based upon our TrueCar research - we bought the car!

Today (March 28th) we went to sign papers and pick up the car. Ricky Overby the business manager was very professional, again a great experience compared to previous dealings with finance managers.

We would highly recommend the Honda CR-V if shopping for a compact SUV...and go see Troy at Pearson Honda in Midlothian.

Had my Chevy truck oil change and inspection, with appointment. Reasonable charge, quick service, coffee and donuts.

Second trip took my Buick LaCrosse in for and oil change and general once over. No appointment this time, very effective and immediate intake . Followed by nice reception area with fresh coffee and donuts. In and out in way under an hour on Tuesday morning. Love this dealership.

Best service I have ever received from a dealership for service on my Honda 2015. Always have answers and will be more than happy to help with anything u need. Even show you how to use or fix smaller things on the car or your remotes. Make sure you make an appointment or you will be waiting for awhile, they are always busy. They can service other brands of vehicles and depending on what you have set up with the company they will also call the nearest rental car place and try to have them pick you up (Enterprise most likely). Only things that need work is some of their prices for parts/services and the cashiers kinda rush you out without seeming to have customer service skills (might be a personal choice since I have seen them carry on with certain customers politely).

My family has purchased 7 vehicles from this dealership since 2006. The sales department has always worked hard to get me into the vehicle of my choice at a payment that fit my budget. The staff makes you feel like family.

We brought car in for it's yearly inspection. The front brakes passed inspection but the let us know we would need new front brakes in a few months. We asked if they could true the rotate and put them on while we waited. They took care of everything before we left. They also volunteered to put on the new wipers we bought at the parts department. Outstanding service!

I'd not buy from here again. Not professional enough. Mostly pretentious. Once they get your money, they are done with you. They won't care so much about courtesy anymore. They won't want to listen. They will want to get done and go about their days, not really caring about serving you.

I have been a customer of Pearson Honda for over 12 years and this was the 4th car I purchased from Pearson. This experience as well as all the others was excellent. Charles took plenty of time explaining and going over all the technology in the new CRV. The entire process was smooth. I highly recommend Charles and Pearson for anyone in the market for a new Honda.

Had apt for oc and key orog. On the way here emmision light came on, i told my service person and they said i would need to make another spt for that item, i then proceded to ask if i brought my car in for an oc and Terry found something wrong how would they go about that, well then again i wad tips i would have to make another apt for what they found wrong unless i wad in here for state inspection they could not fix anything because of allouted time for what i had already asked them to do, WHAT ARE DEALERS COMING TO IF YOU CAN'T HAVE AN ITEM FIXED THAT JUST OCCURED ON YOUR WAY THERE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE or top priority at the dealership, i have never been treated like this is colonial honda

We went looked for a car for our teenage/ young adult children. I test drove two or three cars and brought my family back that evening to select one. The salesman was great! Kind, informative but NOT pushy or demanding we pick a certain car or spend more then we were comfortable with. The manager came over and worked with us on pricing. And we drove off in a new to us , safe vehicle for our family. This is our first purchase at this Pearson location, but if we need another car, we are coming back to work with Claudio!!

Pearson Honda has always been my home for servicing my vehicle. Clint is super friendly and very transparent. Even when we have our bumps in the road (whether I can't get anyone on the phone right away or they neglect to follow up about an ordered part), I must say they go out of their way to make it right. That's the most you can ask from anyone anyway. No business is perfect, but the effort taken to right a wrong matters most to me. I can't see myself using any other vendor to service my vehicle.

Gave salesman peramiters of payment
After being solicited via emails what my car was worth
Offered $2000 less on trade and almost $200 over payment
Service misdiagnosed and failed to diagnose
Have lost all confidence after many years and multiple cars

I took my '16 Accord to the Pearson Honda on Hull Street Rd. yesterday morning for annual safety inspection. Though I waited a bit long(my son was with me and children don't have patience), I felt it was worth the time. I admired the expertise with which they worked on my car and advised me for future maintenance plan. What's more, Pearson Honda employees are top professionals and they always do superb works!

Visited twice and walked the dealership both times. I wasn't greeted once... It wasn't busy, in fact the receptionist talked about how dead it was one of the days. Made eye contact several times and the reps/employees turned their heads and kept talking to coworkers. So I drove to W Broad Honda where I was greeted and had an excellent experience and bought a vehicle.

I only have experience with the service department, but I can say that their work is excellent, prices are fair, and the wait time has never been long. They have a pretty nice setup in the waiting room that includes a separate kids room! About as pleasant of an auto service experience as you could get.

Update: I worked some with Frank Goodman on the sales side test driving a car. We didn't go with them in the end, but Frank was professional and very courteous to me and my wife, so I'll maintain the five stars. I just wish they didn't put the atrocious pinstripes and door guards on all their cars!

With 1 star I feel I'm the minority here but this is my true story and I am an easy going person.

I am extremely disappointed. Just bought the Honda Accord 2 weeks ago. Made Appointments with the salesman twice and both times he was taking care of another customer (the same customer both times), and they were walk ins so he said. So we waited and waited. Finally get back to finance, after being told an hour prior that he was working on our papers. He tells us, he just found out about us 5 minutes ago???? So today, my husband decides to give you (1) more chance to redeem yourself. He has been there since 2:45 for a 3:00 appointment to a rattle in the door it's 4:30? He says nobody has touched the car. We are very disappointed and moving to another dealership.

I could not have asked for a better experience! Brenden Young understood what I needed and in the time frame that I needed it in. He was helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy! Thank you for making this process and my crazy life more simple!

Our family was in the market for a new SUV. Specifically, we were interested in the 2019 Honda Pilot. Frank and Charles were incredibly helpful, explaining the different trim levels and ensuring we were aware of the various financing options. The entire process went very smoothly with no sales pressure. We will definitely be returning to Pearson Honda for our future vehicle purchases!

I went there one evening after work to look at a used 2012 GMC Terrain SLT-2. I had already been to another dealer and had several more I was looking at before I was making a decision. I dealt with Greg, who at first came across very pushy. I do not like pushy sales people. I know what I want and what I will pay and you cannot bully me into a purchase. They kept making offers and insisting it was the "final" offer. I kept refusing. Finally, about 30 min before they closed, they came with one "final" offer, saying it would only be good if I bought the car RIGHT THEN. I declined, thanked him for the offer and told him I needed to check out other options.

I came back the next day, after going to other dealers. I wanted to discuss the car again, including some minor issues. I asked him about the deal and of course, last night's "final offer" was suddenly good again. I told him there were a few dirty spots on the interior that I wanted clean. He stated they would clean. The buying process TOOK HOURS. Even though I already had financing through the credit union and had already picked the car and the price. I spent most of my time "waiting my turn" to get paperwork done.

This is where I am not happy. Before I signed papers, before I said ok to the deal...I asked if the car came with both keys. He told me yes. However, once paperwork was signed and I was putting my belongings in the car, suddenly "he couldn't find" the second key. This was upsetting, bc a new key/fob can cost several hundred dollars to get from the dealer. Had he been honest with me from the get-go, I would have further negotiated the price to make up for having to get a 2nd key. Also, once the dealer paper floor mats were removed, I noticed the car had NO FLOOR MATS. No floor mats! How does that happen?! So now, in addition to buying a 2nd car key/fob, I have to buy floor mats for the front and back of the vehicle.

Another thing- they did a CRAPPY job cleaning the car. It looks like they literally just sprayed it with water and scented the inside with air freshener. The smudges I asked to be clean- weren't. The interior was barely vacuumed, when you put your hands in the creases of the back seat- completely full or dirt and sand. I understand it was a busy saturday, but come on. I just bought a $22K vehicle from you, the least you could do is clean it a little better. Also, he made a comment "we are only suppose to give you a half tank for used cars, but I gave you almost a full tank." WHAT?

Overall, I am happy with the car. I got a decent deal and I love the vehicle itself. I am not happy with the fact they lied about the key, hid the fact that there were no floor mats, and did a crappy job cleaning it.

The buying experience and sales person was great. ...

The buying experience and sales person was great. After that, it has been less than impressive. I paid for a spoiler to be installed when the car was purchased. No one ever called after two weeks, so I called the service department and explained. The service rep jumped back on the phone and stated that the part was $299, and the labor was $109. I explained again, that it was already paid for, but why did I pay $599 in the sales department for it when you are quoting $408? He explained the bigger spoiler was quoted to me, which was a lie. The larger spoiler would be more money typically, not less. Anyway, I digressed and took my car in. I was told it would take about an hour, after two hours of waiting, I rushed out of there to get to an appointment, after my appointment I looked at the spoiler and it was installed crooked. It was obviously about a half inch to left of center. Not happy... I call and tell them I am not excepting them remove the old one, put new two sided tape on it and reapply- I want a new one, and they say to come on in and we will fix it. I'm like, don't you need to order a new part? "Oh yea!" he says... I will call you back once I track one down. Did he call, nope... I called the next day and left am message and I get a return call the following day saying he would call me when it arrived. Almost a week later they call and I bring my car back in. Well, the new spoiler looks great but now their is a dent in my decklid on my brand new car. I will never step foot in that dealership again! I have lost several days and spent way too much time for something that should have been an easy job. Total failure all the way around!

Honestly, couldn t have had a better or more responsive service experience than I just had at Pearson Honda. By gear shift button fell out while I was driving and I literally couldn t get the car out of Drive. Pulled in, unplanned, and was in and out in less than 30 minutes for what ended up being a recall item. I ll be coming here for all future service on my CR-V

Excellent dealership and excellent service shop! I've been a customer since December 2012. Butch Bowler helped my sister, my husband, my parents and of course me with our car purchases. He's trustworthy and won't let you down.

My husband and I take our cars for regular maintenance and have never felt as though we were taken advantage of.

I am very pleased with my experience here. I felt very at ease with Sean, my salesperson. I knew exactly what I wanted when I came in and he did a great job. He followed up with me the day after I bought the car. I have never experienced such dedication. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was happy!

The wait time to have the work completed on my son s car was as estimated when I checked in. The work was completed and the results were as expected. The best part of my visit was the availability of a work cube with WiFi access nd plug-ins for my laptop. I was able to get work done in a quiet setting. Very pleasant experience!

Service staff is always f=very friendly! Sometimes the waits can be long depending on the time of day you have an appointment, but they typically always perform great work on my vehicle.

100 % customer service satisfaction determines where I make my purchase; again I returned to Honda on Hull Street Road. Scott Is an outstanding service advisor and Clint s management style is perfect! Customer satisfaction is always priority #1, location is exceptionally maintained, and wait time is reasonable. A completely satisfied customer.

Pearson was easy to work with for the new Civic I just purchased. They were willing to work with me by phone and email to do much of the early research and negotiations and then followed up with nice in person service to finalize the paperwork.

Charles Carr was great to work with when buying our new Pilot. We told him what we were looking for and he was able to get it for us at a great price. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the market looking for a new car!

Customer service has always been top notch. Prices are slightly higher than some others, but I will continue to use them for 3 reasons: 1. Even if I don't bring a promotional offer in, they give me a discount if one is available 2. It's easy to come with my young daughter because they have a separate playroom with toys and a tv 3. It's very clean and people are friendly.
I've been using Person Honda for 3 years and don't plan to go anywhere else.

I would like to give a major shoutout to John Hood, the service technician that worked on my car! He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that the repair on my car was covered by the precious dealership due to their error. I appreciate him putting time and effort to make sure that this matter was resolved!

Thanks again,

Kyle

I had an issue with a recall on my 2003 Honda Civi...

I had an issue with a recall on my 2003 Honda Civic LX that had supposedly been repaired already but seemed to have failed. My car was smoking from the steering column and had a strong burning smell. I called a Honda dealership closer to where I live in Richmond, twice, and was basically told to go somewhere else because I didn t purchase the car there and hadn t had it serviced there. They were also flat out rude both times I spoke to someone in the phone. I then called Pearson Honda and not only were they super friendly, polite, knowledgeable and accommodating, they fit me in the next day, AND they found out that the recall fix that had been documented as having been done by another Honda dealer also in VA (Fredericksburg/Stafford ) was actually NOT done only checked but the faulty parts were NOT repaired (isn t that the whole purpose of a recall?! To
FIX the issue that s causing a problem?!). Pearson figured that out, called the other dealership to confirm, fixed the issue associated with the recall on my car (it involved smoke, burning and a potential FIRE in the turn signal/headlight assembly!) Every single one of the people I dealt with at Pearson was super friendly, knowledgeable and a complete pleasure to deal with. The HECK with the Honda dealerships on Broad Street in Richmond (flat out rude and refused to help me) AND the one in Fburg/Stafford (who said they had fixed my recall issue but never actually did)...I am a new and very grateful Pearson customer and will give ALL my future Honda related business to them. Oh, and I did not purchase my car there or had I had it serviced there previously...no matter...they welcomed me with open arms! So grateful for being treated SO WELL on all counts by EVERYONE I dealt with at Pearson. YOU GUYS *ALL* ROCK!!!! Ten stars and two thumbs WAY UP!!!!
