I have worked with Waylon Jennings since 2018. His honesty is what struck me first. Two large items had been checked off as needing replacement. ( Brakes and tires) Waylon looked at them and told me they did not. This had never happened to me before.and I was surprised. Today I went in for a headlight restoration he had recommended. Again I was surprised, actually shocked. The difference was extraordinary. The person who had done this work is someone Honda Pearson should be proud of! Very professional work! And I will stay with Waylon for as long as he works there! I recommend this place highly,

Recently purchased a Civic from Pearson Honda. I worked with Troy Bell and he did a great job taking care of us. The car we originally targeted had been sold, Troy made sure to locate the exact car and get it in quickly. Once in, Troy made sure we could execute the transaction in a way that worked best for me. I found Troy to be an honest "no games" person to work with. I would highly recommend Pearson Honda and Troy Bell if you are in the market.

Everyone at Pearson was amazing through the entire car buying process, from sales down to the finance people. Chase Bowlin was fabulous to work with - extremely knowledgeable about cars with amazing advice for maintenance and care! His attention to detail and customer-oriented personality made the car buying process truly enjoyable! And the gentleman in finance (I sadly can't remember his name) was a pleasure. He patiently answered all of our questions and walked us through everything which was so appreciated. Thanks for such great service! Will be back soon to get my hubby a Honda too!

We purchased our Honda Accord from Sean Jones at Pearson Honda. After a quick phone conversation letting Mr Jones know what vehicles we were interested in, we met with him in the morning to see and drive the vehicles. He had everything ready for us when we arrived and we were able to quickly start our test drives. Mr Jones was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and answered all of our questions. He showed us other options that we were considering that were not Hondas that just happen to be on the Pearson lot for sale. We decided on our vehicle and Mr Jones worked efficiently and thoroughly to complete our purchase ensuring we were getting the best price for our trade in and also our new purchase. He made sure we were comfortable and happily satisfied with our decision going out of his way to make sure we were confident in our choice. He made sure the process was quick and our vehicle looked great when we left. We appreciate Mr Jones honesty and willingness to go above and beyond for us, thank you!

Had a flat tire and specifically told the service advisor that if it couldn't be repaired to replace it and was given a price quote. An hour later they come find me and tell me the tire can't be replaced and want to know if I want it replaced, after having instructed them to do so from the very beginning. After the tire was replaced I get home and the next trip out the TPMS error light shows up and have to go back to have them fix it.

I tried several dealership in Richmond and they are the best around here. The Sales persons specially Butch Bowler is really good and has very pleasant personality. He worked really hard to find the car I wanted whereas others dealers could not find the car and told me I am very picky. The deal I got is probably the best. Butch exceeded my expectation.

Came in to get a state inspection and fail, which I understand why I failed to pass but, i didn't asked to get a carwash. They sprayed my car and didn't dry it so my car was covered in water spots. Will make sure next time to specify to not spray my car.

As dealerships go, this is one. Everything you'd expect, but nothing surprising. They do have seasonal car shows which is a generous use of space. Our interactions with the team there were pleasant; we needed to lease a car on short notice and were able to find what we needed on the lot. We were there on Halloween and they had a trunk or treat set up in the showroom, which was cute.

Arrived at Pearson today to purchase a new car, but the salesman, Victor, seemed to be unmotivated. He didn't get up until a salesman was requested, even after we made eye contact. He was unwilling to search for the car, outside of their lot, that I wanted. This is not what I expect of Honda, but it is what I have heard has become the new norm over the last several months.

Loved Krystal Howard - she saved "the deal". I had walked in and had sticker shock when a salesperson rudely confronted me with a whopping 33% increase on leasing 2 Odysseys .

I say rudely confronted me because our "walk-in" salesperson just thrust a piece of paper at me with a bunch of numbers that I'm fortunate to understand, with one hand scrawled number on it that was 33% higher than a similar lease that we are coming out of from 3 years ago.

I tried to seek mercy and some understanding, but with heavy lids and a stone face he basically said "Those are the breaks". Note: I've purchased and leased 4 brand new Honda's through Pearson Honda over the past 8 years and did NOT expect this treatment. I abruptly left and decided I was done with Pearson.

At home I decided to research what he showed me and saw better numbers online. I put in an inquiry and Krystal Howard got back to me. Her work was excellent. She listened to my haggard story of woe and showed appropriate care and motivation to do better. And she did a lot better. For the same vehicle she was able to return with an offer that was only 9% greater than one of the two leases I was coming out of.

[Unfortunately, the other was unsalvageable. Honda has just changed its financing so much that a 10K/yr near 0% money factor on a lease is just not available as had benefited our second lease. To replace that one with another new Odyssey lease would be a whopping 52% increase in cost. But one was better than none].

I am shocked that the buying experience could be so different between a walk-in inquiry vs. an internet inquiry, but I am glad that Pearson has the good sense to employ salespersons like Krystal (and previous conscientious salespersons that have put me in 4 other new Hondas).

Update: Krystal was not available when I returned, but her brother Josh Blizzard closed the deal we were working on to replace one of my 3 year Odysseys (the other was ultimately replaced with a very nice 2018 Highlander from Haley Toyota). When I return in 3 years, I hope to find salespersons like Josh and Krystal - if so, Honda might get my business on 2 vehicles instead of just 1.

Perfect experience with both Charles Carr as a sales person and Ricky in finance.
Charles came in on his day off to show me a car I drove over 100 miles to see, and treated me as if I was family.
I couldn t have been happier with my new purchase, and it was an absolute pleasure doing business with this establishment.

For future potential car buyers, you can t go wrong speaking with Charles. I got a great price on the car, that was by far the lowest I had gotten since I had started looking, and the finance portion was seamless.

I have taken my both Hondas at this dealership for last 5 years. There customer service is exceptional. There mechanics opinion usually appropriate and I can fully trust their opinion. Scott Blaylock is my service advisor. He is very good, courageous and helpful. I got my AC broke. Thought, that I am going to get big bill. Scott, found out it can still be covered by Honda warranty, so I got it fixed with 0 dollar. Similar experience happened recently, my brake having problem. Thought I am going to get big bill but instead mechanics found out that it's simply air problem at my front brake. In general their prices for services are little higher than others but I like their approach... "Be honest, fixed what is required and don't put customer in gimmicks.." I am happy to pay little more price but get an honest opinion and service for my car than usual gimmicks of mechanics industry... Keep it up

I began my search for a new vehicle in July...I visited several car lots, but was immediately put at ease after meeting Jason at Pearson Honda. He was not pushy. He was very helpful in guiding me to the perfect choice for me. Buying a new car is a big deal, so I didn t purchase on our first meeting. Jason kept in touch with me but never made me feel pressured to buy. I revisited Pearson Honda on September 22. Jason was with a customer so I got to work with Scott. He was simply delightful. He helped me find my perfect fit and made the process very easy. I would recommend both Jason and Scott to anyone and everyone looking for quality salemen!! Great Job!!!

Disappointing experience with the service departme...

Disappointing experience with the service department. We arrived early for a scheduled appointment. After waiting approximately 2 hours we paid for a oil change and tire rotation as we requested. However, the tires were marked prior to the appointment and they weren't rotated. Also, the computer was not reset indicating when the oil was changed, similar to the previous service appointment. We left the dealership and returned to speak with the attendant who had previously check us in. He seemed embarrassed, and left to speak with Chelsi. They once again took the car back and rotated the tires. Is this a common practice at Pearson? Single out elderly couple, charge for services not provided? When asked why the computer was not reset after changing the oil or no sticker provided indicated the dates of the service provided the response was that they no longer do stickers as its all in the computer, but what difference does that make if they don't reset the computer? Again, was the service actually provided? The most disappointing result of this entire experience is their lack of remorse, they really didn't care and off-handed sorry for the mix-up comment showed their lack of concern. In the future we will be taking our business elsewhere.
