I bought a 2011 Honda Pilot from them in December ...

I bought a 2011 Honda Pilot from them in December of 2017. I got it for a decent price. They were very motivated to sell me the vehicle and made it easy for me. Fast forward to the beginning February 2018. The Pilot started having issues with the electronics in the center consol and the handsfree link didn't work. I called the dealership and scheduled an appointment and took the vehicle in. The service department told me the that it was a computer issue and it cost $491 to replace it. I spoke with the sales person who sold me the vehicle and explained the situation. He allegedly spoke to the service manager and explained that I had just purchased the vehicle in December and asked if they could work something out on the cost of fixing the Pilot which I would have most likely done because it is a used vehicle and don't expect it to be free. The manager told him he couldn't do a thing for me. While I am aware that I purchased a used vehicle, I kind of have a suspicion that the dealership knew about the issues with the vehicle before I purchased it. Basically, this place is like every other dealership out there, just trying to make quick buck off us hard working people. Do not believe the hype. They don't care about you or your family. They only care about making money. I would avoid this place for purchasing a used vehicle.

My daughter had a oil change at this location , a week after or So, her car started to make nosies , which she didn t know why , the nosies becomes loud , Which prompted her to take time off from her busy schedule to take the car for review , she was told the metal plate under the car , was total damage , she has a Honda Civic , that plate needs to be removed in order to have the oil change , we had done business with Honda For over 12 years and with this specific car dealer , this car has never gave her any issues since she got it from Honda Two years ago , this people didn t take care the car appropriately when the oil was changed, the metal plate was definably not attach correctly , I spoke with Scott blaylock at the services department and with the general manager Keith Hightower , they basically didn t not take responsibility, the car looks damage in the bottom , however the car was working perfect before this dealership put their hands in the car , needless to say, my family business with HONDA ends today , they put this on a customer responsibility $600 ,when we are going through a pandemic chaos , people are loosing their jobs , but Honda Is all about your $$ no about taking care the faithful customers

Pearson Honda has the best service dept. I have been a customer since they were across from Cloverleaf Mall and they have always taken care of my cars 100% and beyond!
However.... I tried to buy a car from Pearson a few weeks ago and the sales manager would not sell me the car for MSRP. He wanted to charge me $5000 over the MSRP. He said they have added a "market adjustment" to the car because of supply & demand. The majority of cars sell for less than MSRP, so I was not going to pay $5000 over MSRP. Colonial Honda in Colonial Heights does not charge over MSRP so I plan to buy the car from them.

I had a wonderful experience at Pearson Honda. It had been almost 19 years since I purchased my first Honda (97 Accord over 305,000 miles). My sales representative Donald Johnson was very helpful, informative, a go getter and most importantly PATIENT. It had been so long since I had purchased a car, I didn't know what trim I wanted or what color. I left and came back and still wound up purchasing something I hadn't even considered on the first two visits. I am now the proud owner of another Honda Accord...2015 EX L with Navi!!!! My family went in to look at a Toyota Highlander that we saw for sale online. We advise the car rep what we wanted to test drive as soon as we met. Mind you the sales rep never gave me his name until I asked for it we when we were test driving the car. While test driving he didn't say anything to sale is on the car. We advise we had our financing with a bank already and we needed a purchase order to bring them once we agreed on a price. When as what the sale price if the vechile was the sales rep stated 35k and started to write up the purchase order. I advised that the online price if the vehicle is 31k. He proceeds to walk over to the finance table for a few minutes and states yes we can give it to you at that price. I then asked is there wiggle room on the 31k price he said that is our no haggle price. I started we are not at carmax and there is obviously so wiggle room. He stated the original MSRP is 35K I advised I never knew of that price until you spoke of it I only know the price that I have seen while investigating the car online and it seems like you are haggling me. I will never do business with Honda ever.

My husband and I had the best service at Pearson Honda on 4/3/2019. Our Sales Consultant was Nate Jones, (he's the best). We gave him a list of things we had to have in a car, after he listened to our every need, he showed us the ONE. Honda Accord. I love it and it has everything we asked for. Great prices too. Nate was very knowledgeable. Nate explained everything about the car in detail. Ask for Nate Jones if you want to be treated great and taken care of. Thank so much Nate.

After a day of looking at cars for my daughter up to 76 miles away I ended up at Pearson, 5 minutes from home. I found a car online and sent a request for information. Troy Bell responded promptly with information. We talked and I went in for a test drive. The car had just been traded and went through inspection. It was exactly what we needed but it comes down to price. Troy was zero pressur. At the dealer he said the car was so new there wasn t an official price. Instead of keeping me there for hours he said I ll text you once a sale price is determined. He did just that and after a couple offers back and forth we agreed to a fair price. It took 30 minutes at the dealer to sign the paperwork. I will be back to buy from Troy and Pearson should the need arise.

I purchased a vehicle about a year ago and had a great experience however, I recently had my vehicle inspected as well as the tires rotated and can not say the same about my experience. This may sound petty to some but I was told all fluids were topped off just to find out the next morning my whiper fluid was bone dry. Did you really have to lie about $3 whiper fluid?? Did you even rotate my tires?? The absolute least Honda could have done after me purchasing numerous vehicles from them is to be HONEST.

The only great thing was the sales person, I do like the truck but it's missing several things. Such as the owners manual, the micro SD card for the navigation, and the floor mats also the detailing department should take a few classes on cleaning a car. I learned a valuable lesson, never leave the dealership until you fully inspect the vehicle. Also the financial department is bad on returning phone calls. Whatever happened to quality customer service.

I set up an online appointment to handle the passenger airbag inflator recall. I received a confirmation, and assumed someone had looked at it and was aware of what I wanted done, since I was assigned a service advisor and my work was for CampaignId:16-047 PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR. So I dropped my car off, went next door for breakfast to kill the 48 minute install time, but got a call 46 minutes later that the part was not in stock, and I would have to return. I am now waiting for the part to be in stock and schedule a new appointment.

The advisor told me that nobody looks at the appointments. I would think that would be part of wanting to "make your ownership experience as convenient as possible", not "nobody looks at the appointments". Owners don't find wasted trips a convenient experience.

It wasn't totally true that "nobody looks at the appointments", since I requested the "passenger airbag inflator recall", and someone or something converted it to a "Campaignid: 16.047".It is well within the realm of possibility to compare inventory to need, have the system place an order if not available, notify the requester of the delay, and offer an alternative date the customer can modify if it doesn't work for their schedule, with just a few clicks. "Just sayin' ".

I have just left this service department and am VERY disappointed. This is the 3rd time in 2 weeks I have taken my Odyssey in for service. The battery has died on multiple occasions. They cannot figure out what is wrong, are unable to offer any other solution except to bring it back another day. They would not provide me a loaner car or a ride home so that I could leave the vehicle. They offered an appointment so that I could come back a 4th time. I suppose a 2 year old van should require jumping to start???? This was my 1st and only Honda I will buy, clearly a lemon.

Also they take care of the service members as well by offering the little discount as a way of saying that they appreciate what they do in safeguarding Americans freedom and their way of life for the sacrifice that the made.

That's why I drive all the way from Dinwiddie to Pearson Honda because of their superb service.

Just had my Pilot inspected at Pearson. FAILED! 5 ...

Just had my Pilot inspected at Pearson. FAILED! 5 years I have had a small crack in the windshield $400 (passenger side that you can't see except from one angle) and a broken foglight that they want $400 to fix. Every year it passes inspection at my regular independant shop. The model I have the fog lights are an accessory and not even on most models so they are not required. These same knuckleheads tried to prey on my wife with unneeded tires and catalytic converter scam last year. That would have been $1600 until I called them on it and they admitted the tires had 20,000 miles on them and the warning code for the catalytic converter won't lead to a "ruined motor"
Never going there again.

I wasn t really in the market for a new car, but my husband and I decided to do a little window shopping to see what s out there. The car would be for me as our family car so I was looking for certain features such as back up cams and such.

The first place we looked was at Pearson and we test drove a used CR-V. Charles Gaskins was very helpful answering my questions and was selling ME the car, not my husband, which means a lot to me. We walked away after that first meeting to look at other makes and each time, the salesman would point out features and specs etc. to my husband. That s a huge turn-off for me and as such, we walked away.

I would recommend Charles to anyone; he went above and beyond and I am now the proud owner of a 2018 CR-V.

I had a sound coming from the brakes or the rear tires, so I took it into Pearson Honda to get them to check. They said my routers looked good and couldn't find anything wrong. They even washed my car and it cost me nothing as it is still under warranty.

I brought my mother in to Pearson Honda in hopes I could talk her into getting rid of her 1998 Dodge Durango. A sales cosultant approached us with a smile. His name was Don Young. He was very understanding of my mom s needs as she is 74 and does not like a lot of new technology. Within an hour my was a proud new owner of a pre-owned CRV. She is so happy. Don was very easy to work with and very patient with my mom s needs an fears of purchasing a vehicle.

This would have taken me 3 hours of going to the mechanic and sitting at their office, just not really getting anything done whereas now it has taken me 15 minutes of walking out, hand the keys to the Waylon Lloyd, and he comes out, inspecting the repair, and making sure it works. They are always friendly, and take care of things efficiently. I only gave four stars this time, because they were replacing my windshield wipers and I specifically said the rear windshield wiper was bad and they did not replace it. I live over 40 minutes away so did not bother to go back.
