Jordan Marsh Review

Came here in search of a new mattress and bed frame. Gary in the sleep lab helped us out with the mattress and it was a great experience! You could tell he knows what he's doing and made some really great recommendations after measuring how my husband and I both sleep. He was really good at explaining all the different options available with the mattress we ended up choosing. We also ended up with a new recliner from the Outlet section of the store. There were a lot of really great options down there. They were able to schedule delivery to our home for everything we ended up purchasing for later that week. Once our information was in their system, the process of ordering from different sections of the store was very easy.

Didn't require a great deal of help since we knew what we wanted. The customer service person sensed that and guided us thru an easy, quick and helpful sale.

Very impressed.

We wouldn't shop anywhere else. Excellent quality, superb choices in style, colors etc, very accommodating! The clearance room will blow your mind!

This is my first experience with Jordan's and I have to say that I am beyond impressed! My salesperson Pierre in your Avon location, was instrumental in helping me find just the right pieces and was truly a pleasure to work with. The warehouse personnel who assisted me with the item I purchased were very polite and helpful and the delivery of my sofa was seamless. The delivery representatives were very prompt, courteous and extremely professional. I would highly recommend Jordan's !

I needed a mattress & had a great prior experience with Jordan's, so I came back again for another mattress. Gary A. took his time in getting to know what I wanted. He was very knowledgeable, kind, & helpful.

I been waiting for my kitchen set for three months and every time i call Jordan they always say next month. i will NEVER buy my furniture from that store again. I got all my furniture from them but this is my last one!! NEVER AGAIN REALLY THREE MONTHS for a kitchen set...

Very good experience, the salesman showed us all aspects of what we were about to buy. Due to his advice and the reasonable cost we bought more pieces than we originally were going to buy. The delivery was right on time and the delivery folks were in and out quickly and efficiently.

Great selection of beds. Knowledge and courteous sales staff. The delivery was on time and team did a great job(neat too)putting together the beds. We would definitely go back.

The women that helped us out was very helpful and was certain that our merchandise would be all wrapped up and ready for pick up!

Great sales people. We bought a leather recliner and loveseat which we knew up front that the leather has hide blemished. It had the spring support (very important - see review on the Warwick RI site from me) but when one of the two pieces arrived (after waiting 26 weeks for the reclining loveseat to arrive from China) we noticed (after delivery guys were gone) the problems. Two cuts (very man made looking cuts that had been repaired on the back you look at and hide that was sewed on the foot cushion that was not died before assembly making it look like a white line on footrest.
My wife and were told this is "normal" but the fantastic customer service people (after explaining this is normal) did immediately agree to swap out the piece.
LOVE the people here but is this really the best quality you can buy?
Don't go to Bob's or any other discount place - I still think Jordan's is the best you are going to find. It is just the world we live in where even the furniture is made in China

If you can brave the crowd, you will find an endless selection of furniture here. I came to look at leather couches, and was able to view hundreds of options.

Not sure I am totally satisfied with the condition. looking forward to running the gauntlet to see how it can be replaced.

Great place to shop! No one bothering us while browsing. When we were ready to purchase, Derrick was very was close by and very helpful, patient and funny. We have bought furniture here before with the same experience and will come back again.Great selection, prices and quality!

This Jordan's is an experience. I highly recommend the Enchanted Village, Enchanted Ice, and MOM/LITE shows. The food is also good. Those blueberry muffins are better than anything tbh.

We were there today for the Christmas Extravaganza... It was well organized and everybody had a good time.

Long 150+ lines on weekends, difficult to find parking, entry takes you through the store when entering and again through when exiting. On weekends add half hour each for parking and each activity.

I brought a full size Sealy mattress a prosepedic plus for my friends with a adjustable base does help her sleep better and she been having a posture problem after she had a hospitalization and the guys came one hour early amazing services . The Todd had contacted us saying that her back was curved and it was suggested a great suggestion from the scan That to be getting a Sealy prospedemic bed

Needed a 3/4 size mattress for an antique, four poster bed and the sales person, Danny Cox, was very helpful and chatty while I rolled around on various models for that "just right" comfort level. I was pleased that he was informative, at ease friendly and not, at all, pushy to make the sale. I'll recommend Jordan's to anyone. Thanks Jordan's furniture!

Very pleased with our experience at Jordan's. We bought our son a new bed, and he loves it! The delivery guys were phenomenal; they arrived at 7:01 and were out the door at 7:17!

The service at the Avon store was outstanding. Every employee we encountered was very helpful and polite, esp. our salesperson. I bought a large bookcase and the cost was $399. When it arrived, there were some nicks, some uneven stain, a couple of things coming apart. I phoned customer service and they sent a technician out the same day. He fixed everything that was wrong, and now the case looks great. I am very pleased with the service I received and highly recommend Jordan's Furniture.

They re truck honked at me and my sister while we were walking and it s unnecessary

Sleep Lab was excellent. Jim, our Sleep Lab technician, was very professional. There was no pressure to purchase a mattress outside our my budget. Received the mattress within less than 24 hours - on Christmas Eve at 7:30 in the morning! A+ service!!!

We had a wonderful experience (again) and Francis in the furniture dept. could not have been any more helpful. He made it very easy for us to find the perfect items and set up our delivery. Thanks again!!!!

After researching mattresses for awhile, we found ourselves in the Jordan s sleep lab. Ann helped us find the perfect new mattress and spent a lot of time with us answering many questions. We were highly impressed at the professionalism and knowledge which she possessed. The transaction and delivery was a very smooth process with ample and accurate communication. We will definitely be back to Jordan s for our furniture needs!!

May be a good experience if you're White. Got a lot of glares and condescending looks from some of the employees (all of whom were White). As I went through the bedroom section with my boyfriend, none of the salespeople offered to help us even though we spent an hour there. Every other customer was helped whether they liked it or not it seemed, which made this situation even stranger. When I asked a question about a mattress, the salesperson was very rude and seemed to have an impatient attitude. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me wonder if there is some underlying racism in the way Jordan's Furniture is run.

We have purchased two items at Jordan's Furniture in Avon this year. Each time we were served by Jim Huseman. We love our Jordan's products--a beautiful desk and a recliner. My praise is especially of Jim. He was so very, very helpful with each purchase and didn't hurry us in making our choice. He led us through the (huge,easy to get lost in) store rather than just pointing us in a certain direction--unlike another representative. I will return to Jordan's for future purchases, and will always look for Jim, even if it means going to Avon when we live in NH.

And now, several months later, Jordan's Furniture continues to be our choice. This past weekend we went in to purchase the coffee table and end tables that match the desk we purchased previously. I was thrilled they still carried them after all this time and delivery is scheduled for next week. We asked for Jim Huseman only to find out he is no longer there. In the store we were serviced by Liz Golsby, who was just as wonderful. While another sales consultant just gave us directions to what we wanted to see (and in that HUGE store it's easy to get lost), Liz stayed walked with us through the store and stayed with us to answer questions That is big in my book. I don't like to get lost, nor do I like feeling like my business isn't important. While talking with Liz, the conversation changed from our tables to (another) recliner, and she found just the right one. We purchased that as well. I am so appreciative of her, we will ask for her when (not if) we go back in the future.

UPDATE: We went back to Jordan's in Avon to purchase living room furniture. Liz was not there, but we were served by Scott Nelson. I must say, for the most part, Jordan's Furniture does a great job in selecting it's sales people, and Scott was not a disappointment. He didn't just point me in a direction (I would have gotten lost) as others have done. He took the time to listen to what we wanted, to show us things that might meet our needs, and even to inquire of others when he didn't have an answer. He was great. I'm happy with the sofa, side table, and recliner we purchased. Jordan's will always be my first choice for furniture. Not only do they have many choices, but quality is wonderful and the sales people are great! (Thank you, Scott Nelson!)

Jordan s Furniture Avon never fails. Has been a staple in my life since I was a kid growing up down the road from this location. Staff has always treated my family and I like their family. Service is fantastic. Most recent delivery was the best you could ask for-the guys brought in a huge sectional working with tight corners and turns; no damage, no fuss. A sincere thank you to everyone at JFA for all you do.

I went to the Avon location to enjoy the Enchanted Village with the family.
We decided to wander the clearance area when i found the perfect recliner at a unbelievable price.The salesman was friendly and helpful . Then it was wait for delivery. Couldn't have had a better experience! They keep me in the loop with texts and calls, the delivery men were courteous and professional. I would recommend Jordan's based on my interaction !!!

Sales staff was great, not pushy and very helpful. Martin Kenzerski was the sales guy who ended up helping us and he was fantastic. Very nice and wanted to make sure we got what would work best for us. Delivery was timely and the delivery guys were very polite. The furniture looks great, no issues with it at all. I would shop here again and have suggested it to friends.

My wife and I bought a mattress for $2,000 that was not as advertised. Having a bad back, all I wanted was something i could be comfortable and cool sleeping on. Got treated like I was the problem when I wanted an exchange and was told I couldn't downgrade. The saleswoman guaranteed me that the new one would be good for my back. I was coming from a $600 select comfort that lasted me 8 years. Now around 3 years later I sleep on the sofa and my $2,000 mattress is falling apart. Thanks for nothing Jordan's. Nice job screwing your customers.

As always It was a pleasure to shop at Jordan s in Avon. Our salesperson Darlene was very friendly and knowledgable and hooked us up with a great mattress and motorized base. Bridget was a big help too. The delivery guys did a great job of removing the old and setting up the new motorized base including mounting our headboard and Simmons Beauty Rest mattress. Thanks!

Bought a new mattress today. Sales Associate Ellen Bjornson provided us with lots of information and gave us excellent service.

Our trip to the Jordan's in Avon was fraught with anxiety as we were worried about having to spend too much time in there. We got there when it opened on Sunday morning. Several sales people were waiting at the entrance and no one ventured to ask us if we needed any assistance. Daniel approached us and was an amazing salesman with lots of knowledge and experience in selling furniture. Since we knew exactly what we wanted, we were able to give him dimensions, colors, firmness and type of sectional and sofa we were looking for. Within a short time we had purchased a sectional and ottoman/coffee table for our sun room and a sofa, love seat and two chairs for our family room. Daniel made us feel comfortable and safe and took us only to view the pieces that met our requirements and he knew we would like. Excellent experience purchasing furniture in a pandemic at Jordan's in Avon due to Daniel's knowledge and skills as a salesman.

I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of indoor and outdoor furniture from Jordan s . We have never been disappointed in the sales , service and quality of every item. Dave is one of our favorite sales associates. We love our new outdoor dining set it is absolutely perfect. Dave made sure we had all of the pieces ready to go for my dad s 95th Birthday party.

This Jordan's has the best blueberry muffins during the holidays and the pit, which is a huge clearance center year round! Great store and staff.

If you're brousing, bring a lunch.. so much to see.. high quality but affordable furniture , well laid out, not overwhelming, and there is always a pleasant, knowledgeable, someone to talk with..

The ice skating rink is fake. It's a really small tiny circle that they make it out to be this huge skating rink. Not impressed

No complaints about the store, the selection or the salespeople, In fact, all of that was a pleasant experience. I loved having the freedom to roam around and not be pestered by pushy salespeople. We love our couches and the pick-up process was easy and the guys there were pleasant and helpful. The counter stools we got though are substandard. Two screws fell out after the first few days. I think we will be returning them.

Everything was as expected from the salesman to the two delivery men. Jordan s is the only place to shop for furniture. If you can t find it there then it doesn t exist. Buying a bed is a trip in itself.

No pressure sales for the 1st time at a furniture store!

Overall a great experience with very knowledgeable sales Associate Jeff. Just watch out for "soft" additions to your invoice. Later in the transaction I asked about mattress covers and he had already added it without asking first. Also, he "automatically" added a pillow and we asked him to remove it. Otherwise, a good experience.

Went there for the Enchanted Village. It was very nice. My granddaughter loved it.

My wife and I purchased a bed at the Jordan s Avon store. I like the Natick store better but we took a ride out to the Avon store just out of curiosity and purchased a bed. The employees were absolutely fantastic. They don t follow you around unless you ask them to, in the event that you need help. The entire store is extremely clean and well laid out. All the furniture is staged in rooms so that you can clearly visualize it.

In the past we have purchased chairs and mattresses from the Natick store only because it is closer to where I live. One thing that I don t like about Jordan s furniture is the fact that you have to pay a delivery charge for every item you purchase. If you buy a mattress and a chair, for example, you have to pay a separate delivery charge for the mattress and a separate delivery charge for the chair and of course anything else you purchase has a separate delivery charge. I understand that they have to make money on deliveries but if you bought a lot of furniture the delivery charge can be a deciding factor whether you can afford it or not. I don t believe they offer cash and carry unless you purchase from their liquidation dept located in Avon.

The delivery drivers are really good. Every time I ve had stuff delivered they take care not to damage things and do a perfect job of setting things up.

Overall I love doing business with Jordan s furniture. They have a huge selection of furniture and Decor. The only cons are the high price of delivery with multiple items.

We have bought from Jordan's many times in the past. Our experience is always very good. This time around we bought a dining table and chairs set. We worked with Eugene in Avon. He was fantastic. I walked back and forth for probably a solid hour before I made a decision and he was around if we needed anything but not hovering at all. He was very helpful as we made a few changes to the set by switching chairs, etc. He moved chairs around, switched chairs out, offered his opinion , just very helpful through the whole process. Great experience! Looking forward to the arrival of our new set!

Sleep lab people are very helpful and aren't pushy. A little crazy in the store this time a year because of all the people but still a great experience.

Delivery - I called to see what time my new bedroom set would be delivered and the lady that answered the phone was not helpful or nice! She told me I have absolutely no control of the time of delivery. I can change the day but basically you get what you get for a time frame and that's it. I thought that was not right and I also thought I would get better service than that, I am a single mother of 2 young girls, I work full time and it's very hard to leave work so I just wanted to be able to choose a morning delivery but NO you get what you get. You think Jordan's Furniture would be able to work with someone that just spent thousands of dollars there. Who ever answered the phone needs to be able to be more helpful so sure.

We spent a considerable amount of money at Jordan's on furniture and bedding, from sales to the delivery the experience was outstanding! Everyone was knowledgeable and competent. When our bed arrived there was a scratch in the wood, we called Jordan's and they had a refinisher out to our home in 2 hours. His name was Don and he was amazing! He did a wonderful job in record time. He was pleasant and professional and took pride in his work.Thanks Jordan's :) !

We knew what we wanted so shopping in Avon was a breeze. The delivery guys were outstanding. They called to let us know when they would be at our home and they were and brought in our furniture in record time. Best experience every time I have bought something at Jordan's.

The sales associatte that assisted us over our two day process was awesome. Roz was very understanding and gave us time and space to make our decision without being pushy or overbearing. Roz will get a call from us prior to our next furniture shopping spree

For our new house, we went shopping for a firm bed. John Laughter assisted us in selecting a suitable bed and setup delivery to the new house. We found John to be both personable and extremely knowledgeable about the products. Delivery folks called to ask if they could deliver a bit early, that worked well for us. They were in and out in very short order setting up the new bed. We are very happy with the experience so far. Sleeping in it for a while will tell us more about our selection.

Purchased bonded leather sofa and loveseat for family room. Arrived and set up on time BUT saw a small hole on right side rear of loveseat probably from delivery person setting it up.

Called and reported to customer service. They were pleasant and will schedule a technician to come out and repair but 2 week wait. Aggravated that I have to go thru this process in the first place, that's why II paid for professional delivery. Will report back on results of repair in October.

My wife and i Shopped here for a sectional and the place is amazing.Lots to choose from and the price was great.The staff there are great and if your looking for a great sales person see Dean Weinstein you won't find a nicer person to deal with .Thank you we will be back in the future

I bought a mattress in January for $1300. This was a big purchase for me, and at first i had nothing but great things to say about the sales guy Jim M, because i felt he was taking me seriously (I m only 26 and had gone to a couple stores before and other salesmen just had the notion that I couldn t possibly afford a luxury mattress and I was just in there to kill time/waste theirs.) Jim spent a lot of time with me, answering my questions and looking at different financial options. However, he led me to believe the Progressive Lease option works a little differently than it actually does and I will now wind up paying more than double what the mattress costs. I am very disappointed and I feel completely ripped off. I am happy with my mattress, but had I known the lease option worked this way (not the way he explained it) i would have just paid for it up front. Ridiculous.

Our new bedroom set was delivered on Saturday, the delivery guys were very prompt and friendly. Set up was completed extremely fast and it was almost as they weren't even there!

The bed is on backorder and we are anxious to see the set completed in our home.

Now thinking about a new mattress set, can you guess where we will buy from?

After having a bed delivered from another retailer with stains on it, then cancel the next delivery date and give me a date for 2 weeks later, I cancelled the purchase and went to Jordan's. It was the best decision I made! Not only was the salesman (John) wonderful, but the process was quick and my delivery date was for 3 days away. Thank you so much, Jordan's - I should have gone to you first!

Great experience got notified regarding delivery by mail,phone, and text. The delivery gentlemen was wonderful called me twice regarding time and could have not been more friendly.
So far loving the chair.

Went to Jordan s furniture in Avon for the enchanted village. We bought tickets for ICE skating, where we would have 30 minutes to skate, we put ice skates on that were issued from the place and got on the ice which turned out to just be some kind of plastic floor. Sorry but I don t remember paying for roller blading, if I knew it wasn t real ice (which wasn t advertised anywhere) I wouldn t have bought 7 tickets for my family. Very disappointed. Only went around the rink once and then got off. Total rip off.

I just accompanied a close friend of mine on his mission to find a new bed. This would be the second time at Jordan's in about a year that we went browsing. This time, we worked with John Laughter, who not only helped us make a decision, but also taught us HOW to make the RIGHT choice, and how to tell which beds worked for our bodies specifically. The entire experience was extremely informative, helpful and so very comfortable. John wasn't pushy at all, he was incredibly respectful and knowledgeable, and he provided the perfect balance of space and expertise. John answered all of our questions skillfully and he used well-formulated questions to help steer us in the direction to narrow down options until we found the perfect product. Not only do I strongly suggest Jordan's Furniture, I also very VERY strongly suggest requesting the guidance of John Laughter specifically. Thanks, John!!

Good deals in the clearance center at the Avon store. I rate 4stars not 5 cause we had to find a salesman. Store was not busy at all, but sales people kept wondering in and out of back room. Once I contacted one, he was very pleasant and helped me immediately.
