I am extremely pleased with the service I received at Honda Serramonte for my 2016 Honda civic touring. I was fortunate to have Darrell Willson as my service advisor. Darrell was very professional, a top notch and responsive. Took time to understand issues in my car. He took great care of me during my visits. He is very accommodating and smiles all the time. He got me a complimentary rental car and never forgets to return every calls. The issue was resolved in no time. Everyone else in his team was outstanding.
Good car, friendly sales staff, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and service department. Double check the little things, because in our case, Serramonte Honda did not. Wont return for service, have found another local mechanic.
We are happy with the Honda Pilot we purchased but the customer service in and after the transaction were pretty low quality.
They sold us the car with an empty gas tank (approximately 20K purchase).
There were some very small items we negotiated at the sale which took nearly a month to resolve. The weather seal on the doors was worn and the dealer agreed to replace each of them the following day. We were told they would call when the parts cam in. A week later we called (because they never did), the service department didnt even know about it. We had to call several times and finally got our sales person to push the repair through. The dealer finally got the parts 3 weeks later and then wanted to keep the car for the whole day. There was no offer of a loaner car or to come in at a specific hour so the 15 minutes worth of work could be done immediately while we waited.
Then when the first rain came, we realized that the windshield and back wiper blades were all worn out.
These are all little things, but clearly show customer service and quality are not a priority, making the sale is. id suggest doing a major once over and negotiating all minor repairs and a loaner car into any deal you make.
I went in to buy a 2018 hellcat but when I was going to test drive the car they gave me a black key " the valet key" instead of the red key thats what you buy a car like that
I love how they open at 8 a.m. in the morning and the service is great and you're not done early in the morning and you can make the appointment if you need to hope this info help out have a nice day
I was going to try out the oil change service since I bought the car here. When I got to my appointment they told me its going to be one and half hour and two and half hour if I need the car be washed. I wait patently about 2 and half hours. Since it took so long to get the service done, by the time I picked up my car I had to get to do something else. I did not check the car for details until I get back home. They did a half ass job for car washing. They did not touch the top part of the car( Odyssey) at all and I can see the swirl all over the body of the clear code. I do understand that a big dealership do get alot of car for service. but it took almost two and half hour to get the just oil and filter and tire rotation done is a bit too much. One thing they did good was vacuum inside the car.
Darrell Wilson is my service advisor and he's taking care of my car for years and years. He tells you what it needs to be done in your car, very pleasant and courteous too. All I can say is, he is the best.
I received excellent and timely help as I ve become accustomed to experiencing every time I visit Honda of serramonte. Ask for Radley or Darrel and you ll be in good hands.
Had an appt for a recommended service on a Saturday, I was told to arrive a couple hours early since it's super packed Saturdays early mornings, unfortunately, I arrived 30min before my appt time but was surprised with how I was attended very quick by Eric the service rep. He did let me know what my car needed and what it didn't need, wasn't pushy about me getting stuff done that day, although I went ahead and got it all taken care of that same day, it was still nice to see he wasn't pushy about it. Overall it was a great experience, Eric and the staff were just very friendly. Also, I didn't know they were going to wash and vacuum my car after it all, that was greatly unexpected. I will definitely be coming to this honda dealership again

I went in to review a used car. I checked the VINs and the transmission VIN did not match the car's. There was no mention of the replaced transmission in the carfax. The explanation from the dealer was they got the car at auction and could not be accountable for what they bought. Draw your own conclusions.
I had such an excellent experience at Serramonte Honda! I had a smog check done and an oil change, it was less expensive than I thought it would be. I was helped immidiately by Xavier who was awesome, he helped me throughout my visit. The shuttle service was great, i was able to sit and read at starbucks while I waited for my car to be done. Serramonte Honda is my preferred maintence spot, thanks guys!
Very, very poor service and they over charge their fees. I wish I never bought my car thru then. If I had a choice, I would give them zero stars..Terrible management!!!
I was pressed for time. I kind of only wanted to physically see an HRV and possibly test drive one. The only HRV available was in the showroom. Kevin moved several cars and got the car out for a test drive within minutes and without any complaints. He is a positive guy which made the experience good. Second problem I had 2 years left on a nasty lease on a vehicle that was no longer practical for my needs. Long story short we got rid of my lease got me into the fully loaded car I wanted at the right price. The buying experience was professional, concise and productive. Life is too short to stay in a car you don't want. Treat yourself, roll the dice at this dealer and see what you can get...within reason of course I traded a leased lexus and got a honda fully loaded with a ton of more utility and features that I am really happy with.
I bought my fabulous low-mileage 2013 gorgeous white Camaro from Honda of Serramonte. The only imperfection on the car was a poor paint patch job on the rear bumper that the previous owner had done. My sales guy, Matthew, wanted me to be 100% happy, so he set me up to get the bumper repainted by the superior staff there. They did it quickly and for a minimal charge. They were really nice to deal with, as well.
Rarely picked up the calls, difficult to communicate with, long wait lines although I made an appointment ahead, and take long times to fix the easy issue.
I went in for a oil change on my 2014 accord. The service was great from the guy who checked me on to the lady who took care of the payment. It took almost exactly to an hour and a half like they said. It was nice they provided completely donuts and beverages which was nice being I was there at 7:30 in the morning.
nice waiting area and i like the fact that they do have a shuttle to take you anywhere within the 5 miles radius. LOVE the private work table space so I was able to get some work done confidentially while waiting for my car to be serviced. Xavier was very calm and relaxed as he explained the details of what will be done to my car and listened carefully to my concerns/issue that i was having with my new/used/CPO car and help me find a solution.
I had my car serviced today at Honda of Serramonte. My usual Service Manager Darrell Wilson attended to all the services I needed. He also informed me of the multi-point inspection which reveal future repairs that needs my attention. On top of that, I got a nice car wash. My experience was very poor. Lack of followup to my emails voice messages, people saying they'd get back to me and they disappear. I had to put a lot of effort into following-up. I came a long way there only to find out that even though they had ALL my information and documents before I came, they neglected to make sure I had the other person on the sale with me to sign in person. We found a way to make the deal happen, but then I realized that the headlights were out and needed replacing, after I got it home. They refused to allow me to go to their sister dealership much closer to me, so I had to go back out of my way for them to fix a car that should have been sold with working headlights from the beginning. I had to keep asking to see the sales manager, Omar, who neglected following up with me about compensation for my expense to bring the car back. Finally after I asked to see him again, he offered to fill the gas tank up which I accepted. Overall the customer service is not great because of the lack of follow-through and follow-up, and they don't own their mistakes. I did not experience empathy from them, and did not feel supported in the process of buying this car.
It was a great experience. As usual, Mr. Darrell provided the first class service with a warm heart and seamless knowledge and professionalism. He not only listened to my voice, but also checked the recent history of my car service to provided the best safety and service. He immediately figured out services that I needed, and provided those on time with the best quality. One of the main reasons why I can drive my car with the peace of mind is because I can trust Mr. Darrell who knows my car and me, and who has the best knowledge and skills about his field. This service was another pleasant experience for me.

I have been having a slow air leak from my right rear tire on my Honda Element. I inspected the tire and could not see anything . They did a complete inspection and found a long small nail in the tire.
I went to look at a used BMW, which the salesman described as really nice. When I got in the car I found that the inside passenger door handle was wrapped in brown bicycle handlebar tape and black electrical tape. I gave the car a rating of 3 hobos and promptly left. Seriously! They were asking $500 above dealer sale high blue book.

I have no problem with Honda of Serramonte itself but the fact that I have a 2020 brand new Honda Super Sport and that I've been to the dealership 3 times and the car isn't even more than 6 months old is beyond disappointing. Also at the I have sent several emails complaining about the disappointment of my new car and have yet to ever hear back from anybody. I know this has nothing to do with Honda of Serramonte but this is the closest dealership to my house and they have been nothing but accommodating but still it's annoying having a brand new car and being at the dealership 3 times in 6 months is unacceptable
A couple months ago the check engine light came on in my 2009 Honda Civic. Then the battery began to lose charge overnight and I would have to jump start the Honda each morning. I took the car to a local mechanic who diagnosed a defective oxygen sensor and said replace the battery. He replaced the sensor and the battery both purchased from a Brand X auto parts store but even the new battery would not hold a charge for more than a few days. I took the car to another local shop. The mechanic there said, "Take it to the dealer." "Oh no...not the dealer," I thought. I reluctantly brought the Civic to Honda of Serramonte worried how much this was going to cost me and even if it was worth repairing. There I met Service Consultant Darrell Wilson who made me feel welcome and at ease. After the automotive technician performed tests it turned out there were several electrical components that needed to be replaced (the car is 10 years old after all) which had been causing the drain on the battery and the engine to run inefficiently. Also the oxygen sensor purchased from the auto parts store (not Honda) was defective and was replaced with a genuine Honda sensor. It took a few days for all the work to be done because a couple other parts had to be ordered. All along the way Darrell kept me informed of what needed to be done. It felt like he really cared about getting the Civic fixed and my personal satisfaction. Long story short...if your Honda needs service or repair (I don't know if they service other makes) just bring it to Serramonte first. The price was more than fair. Forget anything derogatory you have heard about dealer service departments. There is no question in my mind that the service rep was honest and would give you a break if at all possible. I felt genuinely cared for as a customer. All the other personnel I interacted with were friendly and helpful. If you live within a few miles they will give you a free ride home and pick you up if the work is going to take a while or your car has to remain overnight. The problems my Civic was having were not typical and took some real automotive detective work to diagnose. The technicians must be the best because the Civic runs like new! Thank you Darrell and thank you to the behind-the-scenes technicians and all the other staff! If there is a dealer service department award this one certainly deserves it!
terrible parts department, they sold me 4 spark plugs for a s2000 , it was special order, then i took it to local shop and install it, and watching the shop installing it in person, then found out that the spark plugs are too long, then return it to honda of serramonte , told the parts sales person, it was too long and it's not for my car, he found out it's from a civic hybrid and claim that they never sold this part to me, sounds like i am bring in a part from somewhere else,and returning it to them, ok , whatever, i can afford loosing 120 bucks for 4 plugs including tax... the s2000 plugs are 30ish dollars and the civic hybrid plugs are about 50 after tax.. i have visited this place more than 10 times buying oem honda parts, but.. now i learn my lesson, stay away from this place, do yourself a favor and drive to another honda part store or order it online.. this place is not honest.
My in-laws (both in their 80s) wanted to replace their 2005 CR-V with a new one. Zahi was the salesman who helped us out. He was very respectful and provided a no-hassle experience for us to find the right CR-V for my in-laws at the right price. Normally they are very professional and courteous. But on the last service visit my car came out with some scratches. Service advisor Darrel attitude was professional and apologetic, they tried to buff the area but the scratches were still there. Since is practically a new car (1 year ) looking at the spot bothered me and had the car partially buffed at a body shop on the same day . I only hope this will not happen again should I decide to bring my car again for service
Bobbie was awesome! I have gone to him for years. And now I have found him again accidentally at my first time with Honda of Serramonte. I'll definitely come back. He was communicative throughout the day. I was shuttled back home while my car was being worked on. And picked up when the car was ready. I'll come back here for my next service.
This dealership does't deserve your money. I went in to buy a used vehicle. It was during the CA fires, and my partner tried to escape to Idaho for a get-away when unfortunately our car broke down. We had 3 hours left on our drive home when we detoured through Honda of Serramonte in our rental car so that we could purchase a new vehicle. After the poor customer service experience we had here, I can safely say that there is NO WAY I would have chosen this dealership if we hadn't been in such a pickle. Our salesperson seemed pretty disinterested in us from the start, was inattentive, and at one point disappeared for close to an hour while we waited without any updates. There was ZERO flexibility on price (for a used car) and our requests for a discount on the warranty, and even a cargo cover (you can buy this item online for $70) were quickly declined. I felt like less of a customer and more like I was interrupting these people's afternoon. To top it off, they forgot to deactivate some type of anti-theft mechanism, which prevents the engine from starting once it has been turned off, so we got stranded in Berkeley for close to an hour while we waited for them to come fix it. Thank god we hadn't driven farther than that or we would have been stranded god knows where! I attempted THREE TIMES to get in touch with the General Manager (who, ironically, is the person who sent me an email asking me to write a review about my experience) to explain what happened, and to again ask for a cargo cover as a gesture of good will. The GM never called me. I spoke to a different representative, TWICE, who offered me a free oil change (I live 3 hours away) and when I declined, he promised to call me back. That was days ago and I have heard nothing. Honda cars are a dime a dozen. If you are reading this, buy your Honda somewhere else.

I was treated like family during this process of financing my vehicle. I met another woman by the name of Constance; she completed the final financial paperwork. Wing was able to put temporary paper license plates on my vehicle. Wing also explained the features of my vehicle. Wow, what a great tam of people working at Honda of Serramonte!! Have you ever been completely satisfied with a car buying experience at a dealer? I would rate my purchase this week at Serramonte Honda six stars-Exceptional. This was primarily due to sales representative Steven Lee. From beginning to end, Steven was thoroughly competent. No problems whatsoever. I had a 75-mile drive from Watsonville, so needed to do some preliminary information gathering over the phone. Steven s knowledge of the various Odyssey trims was consummate. Steven answered every question I had and listened carefully to my concerns and purchase objective. There was never any pressure, and each step was completely transparent. Before leaving, he gave me a thorough orientation to the dashboard and various functions of the new 2020 Odyssey. Serramonte Honda is a big dealership, but that is not a negative. As a business owner myself, I appreciate it when I experience a smooth transaction. Serramonte Honda was extremely well organized (which prompted my review) exemplified by Constance in their finance department that ripped through that step with adept authority no wrinkles, hiccoughs or problems. As an owner of two Honda s previously, my continued purchases of Honda are my endorsement. Does any other manufacturer do small engines better? Great customer service. I came in for a oil change with no appointment, was greeted right away by Eric chau, was very friendly, helpful and eager to help. Took my car in and even put on a movie for us in the kids corner to help distract my kids. Highly recommend coming to honda of serramonte for all servicing needs.
I got my second thought going here. Before I am satisfied but after my last service it seems that they are not the only doctor in town. In fairness with Honda Serramonte they are accommodating but need to teach their Advisor to not to rely on their mechanics.

I recently had a nail on the side wall of my tire once again (I wor in the city, alas) and was in a bind to get the tire replaced. Despite coming 10 minutes later than my scheduled appt on a Tuesday, Jeric Vergara was able to accommodate me and have my car back to me by 6 pm. I ve worked with him in the past along with other Honda reps and they have all proven to be dedicated and fantastic! Jeric, kudos to your and your staff for always being the hard working individuals you guys have been. Much appreciated.

Really superior service! My Honda had a passenger airbag inflater recall and I contacted Honda of Serramonte and got an appointment to have it replaced early this week. The Service Team was very friendly and efficient and had the repair done long before the four hour time estimate. I will use them for all of my future service needs!

Worst experience at this place with a sales man caled Marcin and his manager omar i guess. They simply dont want to sell you specially if a customer is trying to negotiate the price because of some problems in a ised car they will try to let you go and they will tell u that ur bot a serious buyer. They want a customer just to say yes on any price they decide.
Had the worst experience with salesman Abbas Shirazi. Listened to nothing I had to say, constantly interrupted me, then when I ask for a new salesman he told me yelled no and was arguing with me
You can always rely on a good service provided by highly trained specialists at Honda of Serramonte service center. The entire process is promt and easy from very first step if you have a scheduled appointment. The rate could be excellent if they also wash my car.
I was looking for a NEW honda and visited 2 places customer service was horrible! Got a phone call from Matthew Richardson and gave me a great deal on the car i was looking for! Drove an hour and a half to purchase my car!! He has some great customer service on explaining every detail and every step of the way!!!!!! Terrible service, we re there for the airbag recall. After dropping off my car, at first they said they don t have shuttle service, and then they admitted they have that but refused to provide free shuttle service because we live too far (less than 3 miles) away from the dealer!!!!!!! I would never ever come here again.
