Just purchased an Odyssey from this dealership. Omar was the salesperson he is the best. He helped us find the right vehicle and explained all it's options. Steven the general sales manager was so accommodating and made the process so smooth. I was in and out in less than 2 hours.

GREAT SERVICE! Darrell Wilson service adviser is absolutely the most friendliest and very helpful. Freddy Caamal technician did a great job on my vehicle, he installed a new radiator, checked and fixed the sound that was coming from the driver side lock/door. Freddy also took the time to explain what was wrong and what was needed to be done. Thank you to Darrell and Freddy for doing such a great job in providing the BEST Customer Service. Honda of Serramonte is very lucky have the both of you. Thanks again!

I brought my car in on April 8 for an oil change; ...

I brought my car in on April 8 for an oil change; on 4/17/17, I noticed that the car had a major oil leak. There were puddles in my garage and at work. On Thursday, April 20 at 7AM, I dropped off the car at Honda service to diagnose the reason for the major oil leak.

Joseph, customer service, came to the car and asked me the reason as to why I was there. I told him that the car had been leaking a lot of oil for about three days. He said that they would do a diagnostic to find out the issue and that the diagnostic test would be about $160. The result of the diagnostic test, according to Joseph when he called me, was that the oil filter used on 4/8 was faulty and that the car was leaking because of the poor job that was done on 4/8. This of course means that I should not be charged for correcting what had previously been done. To my surprise, I was asked to pay the $160 for doing the test to find out that the car was leaking because the shop did not do things right.

The reason why I took the car to Honda service was the oil leak caused by the poor job done on the oil change on 4/8. I took time off work, causing me to lose pay; I also have to buy cleaning supplies to clean the oil spill from my garage floor plus the time that I have to put into it. I should be compensated by Honda services for all of these instead of trying to charge me. I have spent close to $2,000 at Honda services in the past three months. I could not believe the nerve of the establishment, charging me to pay for something when they were at fault.

I had to explain repeatedly why I should not be charged. Tom, the manager, reduced the $160 to half, but still wanted to charge me. Finally, Joseph called Darryl, the advisor that always helps me when I bring my car in for service. I explained to him that my car was there because of the shoddy job that was done on the oil change. He said that I was not going to be charged because the Honda service was at fault. Although, I appreciate Darryl making things right, I do not ever want to return to Honda of Serramonte services because of the way I was treated and the embarrassment that I faced in front of the other customers and staff. I rather take my car somewhere else than have Honda of Serramonte services try to rip me off. This has been the worst experience ever!

Came here for service for my (almost flawless) S2000, and had a very involving job for them to do. Eric, the service advisor, and Andrew, the service tech, were amazing. They got it done quickly and correctly, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. Immaculate job, great team. I got a best deal from one honda store but they dont have a color i was looking for , so informed chinda about the price and she immediately matched the price. Chinda is the best car sales person i seen so for in Bay area . She dont force you with any packages . She is very helpful and my advise is shop around get a good price and contact chinda , she will make your buying experience very pleasant .

Honda of Serramonte did the routine maintenance on my car with minimal fuss. All went smoothly and I appreciated the shuttle service so I didn't have to wait at their building. Even tho employees and customers were careful because of the pandemic, I was grateful for the convenience and safety to be able to go home until my car was ready.

Salespeople are nice (kind of have to be) but would not recommend the service department. I bought a used car that ageed to have new tires put on as part of the purchase. They put one front wheel on the back and one rear wheel on the front on a staggered setup. They also put the wrong oil grade when I got it. I had to change it once I discovered that on the work receipt. These are rookie level mistakes.

My visit to Honda of Serramonte on 6/6/20 was the most pleasant car-buying experience I have ever had. Setting up an appointment was a breeze and the staff stayed in touch prior to the appointment - but it was a light touch with the communication which I appreciated. The appointment with Simon went smoothly, we test drove the car we were interested in, and a few hours later, we were driving home with our new car, and took our old car off our hands. Grocery shopping can be more complicated! Great service and great product. I highly recommend this dealership.

My service manager was Bobby Santos. He greeted me warmly and informed me that his goal was to provide the highest quality and customer service possible. From my experience, Bobby achieved those goals and more. He called me a couple of days after my service appointment to see if I had any concerns or questions and to let me know that Serramont's Service Department was available to address any unmet needs or problems that may have been overlooked. That's what I call great service!

I saw the specific used car I wanted to buy on a web site. I called up and arranged an appointment for the same evening. Edmund gave me an estimate of the total cost and I brought a cashiers check for something less than that amount intending to make up the difference with a personal check. The total ended up being a bit less than the estimate, but my spouse and I decided to purchase an additional drive train warranty since it was a high mileage car out of the original warranties.

We arrived around 6:30 and left around 10. 3 1/2 hours to test drive, trade in our old vehicle, get the new one cleaned up and get some gas in it, and finally deal with the finance guy who sold us the drive train warranty. They wouldn't take a personal check without doing a full credit application, but I was able to use my ATM card to pay the difference.

When it was all said and done, we found out they couldn't find the second key for our new car. They had to order a replacement, and I had to drive back up from San Jose 10 days later to to have them cut and program the new key. That took 90 minutes waiting at the dealership, for a total of 3 1/2 hours driving and waiting.

So far I'm happy with the purchase,. The employees of Honda of Serramonte were polite and professional.

So our Honda Pilot's computer recently had a glitch and back up camera wasn't working, music wasn't working, and any type of media wasn't working. The screen was just blank and it actually stayed on even after the car is locked. But we totally understand that these newer cars tend to have problems especially with updates over air. So my dad took it to Honda of Serramonte where we got the car and he told them about the situation. They got the car all fixed after a couple of hours which is totally fine considering that we walked in and there were a few guests ahead of us. We also really appreciate that did they a complimentary multi point inspection on the car including tire pressure, fluids, battery, and everything else. We love our cars and to have something fixed the next day even if we walked in is amazing. Their shop is great and I also want to mention their customer service is on point when we got our Pilot last year. We really appreciate everybody who works there. Thank you!

Recently had a frustrating computer glitch which deleted the MPG/Odometer/trip meter digital readout on the dash. Made a appointment and since it was evidently a computer reboot or restart I was in and out in under 2 hrs on a busy Monday morning!. The car was out of warranty but they only charged a half hr of shop time. Very nice service person by the name of Eric Chau who kept me informed as to the progress of the repair even though he was busy with other customers also!!

I called into Honda of Serramonte to purchase a Accord EX with a specific color in mind. Most of the Bay Area dealership didn't seem to have the color in stock or wasn't willing to meet my price quote. Thankfully Shane answered the phone. Most dealerships gave me a lot of attitude when I asked if they were willing to meet my price quote, but Shane just gave me a simple "Sure, I'll do it."

The rest of the sales transaction went VERY smoothly. We did a test drive, the finance manager was excellent (sorry! I forgot his name), and we got the car!

Shane also went out of the way to pick me up from BART when I came back to pick up my car (post-Permaplating). Throughout the whole transaction, he honestly answered questions, didn't BS, and made the process very smooth. I would highly recommend contacting him for future transactions.

They go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible in spite of some challenges at times. I recommend them to anyone who needs to get serviced for their Honda vehicles.

I was hopeful walking into Serramonte Honda this past weekend even though a few problems came up with our purchase, one including a minor accident on that busy off ramp at Serramonte. The sales rep handled it very poorly and impressed upon us that the dealership would have everything handled for the other party involved at the time of collision and again upon returning to the dealership. This sales rep "handled the situation" by passing the claim onto us after the fact(72hrs), after we bought our car(same one involved in collision-literally a fender) and sales maintained the opinion that we didn't need any information of the driver, nor needed to worry about our insurance being involved. All of which went against what I know to do as a licensed and insured driver? So far, Insurance has not been able to get a statement from the dealership, but they have said that because we bought the car it's our problem...well, okay then have tried to resolve the issue professionally but this doesn't seem to be the case with this dealer. I'm not complaining about the car, rather the very poorly handled situation by two of the "tenured sales reps" of Serramonte Honda, Edmund and Steven Lee. This could have been a clean situation, with happy customer, and possibly future transactions , but now it's just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The next morning I got a call, the Honda team kept me in the loop with what they were doing, checking and needed to order. This is why I stick with Honda!

I am never disappointed when I take my car for routine maintenance at the Colma, CA location of Honda of Serramonte. Everyone is always so friendly and happy to assist both in person and over the phone. Excellent customer service all around with company employees who wore masks and used gloves. My Service Representative was accommodating. Shuttle service was good, although wait time was 45 minutes to an hour due to individual pick-ups and drop offs because of the Pandemic.

Finance department good when purchasing of course but truly horrible when canceling warranty. Said that is was done October 2018 and no credit as of end of January 2019. They don't respond to messages.

Service department is the worse. Damaged my new car installing factory door edge guards. Had to go to body shop to repair which further put scratches on the car. Horrible experience all around. Hence why I cancelled the extended warranty and Honda care.

Had to call Honda finance and Honda care direct to resolve.

Parts department and Manager are awesome!
Never going back to Serramonte Honda again! Worse dealership as a whole on Serramonte.

I am on my fifth Honda. The prior four were purchased from the Honda dealership in San Bruno. I weathered the storm with the prior ownership and was encouraged when a new group purchased the dealership. There was some improvement in the new ownership, however, not enough to match the Serrramonte Honda dealership. I was in the market for a 2018 Honda. My shopping experience with the Serramonte Honda superior to the other dealership, that not only did I make the purchase for the 2018 Honda, I have decided to transfer all my warranty service requirements on my other Hondas to Serramonte Honda. I requested a price quote via the Internet. I received the best price quote from Serramonte Honda by far. Also, the quote was for a specific vehicle, clearly identified, that I was able to locate and take for a test drive. The salespeople were professional, courteous and fair. The staff was all very friendly. The facilities are very clean and include a large inventory. Of all the Honda dealerships in the Bay Area, I would give 10 stars only to Serramonte Honda, with the next closest dealership at 7 stars. I highly recommend this Honda dealership.
