Excellent, Excellent, Excellent Service from Service Advisor Darrell Wilson. I took my vehicle in for service on Wednesday April 25th 2018 and due to all the work that needed to be done, my vehicle was not ready for pick up until the next day Thursday April 26th. This was the day Darrell was off so I did not get to see him. To my surprise, the next day I get a phone call from Darrell to see how everything went and how was the vehicle after the service. He never fails to deliver excellent customer service is why I only bring my vehicle in when he is working. Thank you Darrell and thank you Honda of Serramonte for having someone like Darrell on your team!

When I came to finance a use car, the salesperson initially showed me cars that were completely out of commission. One had cigarette burns in the seats, another had a flat tire, and another actually had a rusted straight razor inside the car on the dashboard. I couldn t tell if they were showing me these because of my race or if that s a sales tactic to get you to look at newer vehicles. Either way it was ridiculous. When I finally found the car I wanted, they didn t disable the device that prevents theft so when I approached a service person about it, they thought I was actually lying about which car I had just spent all that time filling out paperwork for. If you re Black or Latino, I don t recommend coming to this location.
First of all this dealership is a joke. I went to this one in Serramonte because it's close to where I live.I went there initially because there was a recall on my airbag. While I was there, I asked Ricardo about my SRS light being on. He told me late on the day that they needed to order a part and it was covered under warranty. He told me he works reach out to me when the part came in. I did not hear anything from this service rep for weeks! I left messages to receptionists, his extension, and even the lady who promised that she would call me back, NO ONE DID. So, afterweeksofwaiting, they told me to come in on Saturday 21st, so I drop my car off. Teddy (really cool guy,every rep should be like him) let me know that they sent the part back because it was over 30 days. I'll finish with this. I'm in the market for a new Odessey. Due to the lack of communications with the service department, they will lose my business. Teddy you were awesome! Ricard needs to work on following up with clients. 1 star. Sorry guys would love to give you guys 5 stars but the people in the service dept. Needs improvement.

I went into Honda for an oil change. The person assisting me was very professional and very helpful. The job was done well. My only issue is that it took two hours for an oil change. Somehow it seems that could be planned a little better, it's the slowest oil change I have ever experienced. Either enough mechanics are not there or there are too many appointments for the time slots?
My experience yesterday with the process of getting a trade in evaluated with Dananh and agreeing on details of a deal for a new car as well as the entire rest of the process of completing the deal on a new car with Ken was the best car buying experience I've ever had. We were in communication most of the day getting all the details worked out. I arrived at around 5:00pm, and reviewed all the essentials of the deal, went on a test drive, traded my old car in, the new car was washed/prepped, signed all the paperwork, went over how to work all the features on the car, including pairing my phone with the car, and was out around 6:30pm! They work really hard to earn your business and make your experience smooth. Highly recommended.

I went to the Honda of Serramonte one Saturday afternoon after my "check engine light" came on. I went in without an appointment. Honda of Serramonte was able to accommodate me without any issues. Xavier came out and greeted me. Got me in about 1:20 pm, got a shuttle ride home, got a call about 3:30 that my car was ready for pickup then arranged for the shuttle to pick me up. No fuss. No issues. Everything went very smoothly. Excellent service all around!

So I've been shopping around on line and call a lot of dealership and I tumple upon a special deal from Vallejo dealership but unfortunately they didn't have the exact car that I wanted. So made a deal with Serra monte dealers and talk to salesperson to see if they can match that special deal and have that puticular car that I wanted. I would not do business with these people under any circumstance. They would not allow me to test drive the car for a small amount of time to evaluate for defects. The floor manager was not flexible or accommodating at all. Furthermore I believe something was wrong with the car and it's condition. That is why I probably could not test drive the car.
Eric is courteous and doesn t waste my time. I bought my fit at Serramonte and have had them do all of the service. If I don t need certain work, they will let me know. I probably could pay a bit less elsewhere but Serramonte is flexible, I can wait in the lounge or take a shuttle over to the mall. They stand behind their work.

I brought my Clarity fuel cell vehicle for servicing of a Honda safety recall software update. Although I arrived an hour before my scheduled appointment, due to changes in my own calendar, the service advisor wrote up my job at once. An hour later, having comfortably worked in the spacious, immaculate waiting area of the dealership, I was on my way. The greeter, service advisor, and service manager all were welcoming and efficient.
I was looking at an HR-V on the lot. Sales lady Ela approaches and offers a test drive. I accept but advised I only had about 1 hr of time. Turns out the demo is buried on the lots inventory. Here's the kicker, she says since you are short on time, a test drive is not possible at this time. I leave and will not return.
I had a great experience at Honda of Serramonte! Our salesman Tony Chen and all the others involved went out of their way in helping to make my purchase complete, especially since I had a couple of hurdles in my way that they had to deal with! But they were pros and I drove away very excited with my new purchase. They will be my first choice if/when I need to buy another vehicle and I highly recommend them.

I had been shopping for a car (for 6 months) to replace my Jetta Diesel. I finally decided on an Accord Hybrid and visited a few showrooms shopping for the color combo I preferred. Greg Endres was my salesperson at Serramonte Honda and was absolutely the BEST - no pressure, informative, kind, patient and responsive. Ask for him if you are shopping for a Honda!
Great service! But they always forget something it seems. First time it they forgot replace my wipers. This past time it was a simple car wash (I specifically asked for it).
I came in on friday evening 01/20/17. I was curious about how much my toyota camry was. I know, why was i trading a sedan for another sedan. Ive always loved the honda accord. Plus i felt like toyota really took advantage of me with the pricing. I was actually not intending to purchase but Steven Kim really made this process so easy and smooth. He was not your typical salesman, he was not pushy at all and was very patient with all my questions. He was very kind and did not make the experience all about buying a car, but he had regular conversations about life in general. He was very knowledgeable with the car and took the time to show me all the features even in the pouring rain. The document signing process was just as smooth, i was in and out within 15-20 min. Bought my Honda Civic Hybrid from Mike Harvey and they installed the Integrated Motor Assist software "upgrade" knowing it would tank my MPG without telling me about this "feature." I never trusted them again and stopped taking my car there. Found Honda of Serramonte and they are great. Darrell Wilson is a fantastic service rep; I trust him and he takes good care of me and my car.
I got our 2012 Honda Civic serviced here recently. The service center was great. The staff were friendly, especially Teddy who was my service advisor. The whole operation was quick and efficient. They have a shuttle service which was extremely convenient. The schedule B service cost $180.
The reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that shortly after the service they started sending me repeated notices in the mail trying to sell me a Vehicle Service Contract. These are downright deceptive, with imaginary deadlines and instructions to call them in big bold print. I hate this aggressive sales behavior, and I'm very disappointed.

I'm surprised I received a request to review my recent visit. First let me say that I have had excellent service the one other time I've been to this dealership. This time there were some unfortunate mishaps. The person who helped me was very kind, polite, and professional. They ended up confusing my car with another car. During my hour plus wait (I was getting an oil change) I was informed that My car needs brakes right away and a repair for one of my tires. I told him I would have to come back for that because I was pressed for time. They told me my car was done so I paid for my oil change. The guy who gets the cars asked me if I knew where my keys were and I said of course I did not. I guess he found them because he brought my car around but before I was able to get in and leave he said he needed to talk to somebody. It turned out that they never worked on my car. The brakes and tire repair recommendation was for a different car that I guess they thought was mine. So I left there without an oil change but I had paid for it. I rescheduled for Monday and he said that he is going to give me a coupon discount and also they will be washing my car thoroughly. All that being said, I know that they try really hard to keep their customers pleased. I know that I have made some mistakes in my day and I hope that the mechanic or whoever was responsible does not get in too much trouble. There are so many people going through extremely difficult things that for me this was no big deal. I will continue to take my car to Serramonte Honda.

This is my very first time going to have my car serviced by a dealership at all. I was nervous to go to Honda of Serramonte at first but Bobby just made me feel calm and welcomed. He pointed out other problems with the car and explained to me everything. Excellent service. I am coming back for some other services for my car.

Edit 11/18: Check your tire pressure before leaving. My last review I didn't update how the tire pressure was all wrong and off. I had another appointment last week. Service rep said all tires set to specs on car. In the middle of my uber ride (with me as a driver) the TPMS goes off. I check tire pressure. They did NOT adjust pressure as said after they rotated the tires.
SO check your tire pressure before you leave, if you can.

Had an appointment recent for A1/A2 and brake pad replacement and was serviced by Xavier Contreras. The car arrived to me 1.5 hours before it was scheduled to be done and everything went smoothly. Great experience and I will come back to get my car serviced (but not TOO soon hopefully).
Just got a 2014 Accord EX-L this passed weekend and had a very exceptional experience here at Honda. Alex Cheung was the Internet Sales rep. that made my experience worth while and very easy. He gave me the best deal possible and was very patient through out the whole transaction. I would definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends.
Bought a used Acura TSX that had just come onto the lot that day, still dirty. No high-pressure negotiation, just straightforward "here's what we're asking", which was more than fair for an exceptionally pristine used car. Charles was great, facilitated the deal easily, and went the extra mile to track down the extra key from the previous owner. Not only that, they got me an interest rate 8% lower than what I walked into the dealership with. Overall, it was a great transaction. What a breath of fresh air it has been to work with Ela and David at Honda of Serramonte! I knew that I was going to buy a certified pre-owned car, and I am so glad that I chose this team to work with, as my experience could not have been better.
Here are the highlights of my own experience:
1) They seem to choose their pre-owned inventory very carefully, with the right number of miles to give buyers optimum value.
2) They offer excellent prices. The car I chose was listed $500 below Kelley Blue Book value, and it was the lowest price on any comparable model within 100 miles of me. Truly it was a better car for a slightly lower price than anyone else near me, even private owners. Understandably, with their low asking price, they also did not negotiate the price at all. I respect this approach very much. They are honest, direct, and super fair.
3) They work with CarFax so that detailed maintenance records are available for free directly through the CarFax website.
4) They are very responsive to buyer needs. I was extra cautious because their asking price was low (I thought: is it too good to be true? am i missing something?). Ela helped me to address every possible concern, and even asked her team to polish a tiny smudge in order to confirm that the clear-coat and paint weren't damaged. The car is really in beautiful shape. Thank you Ela!
5) They are very creative, fair, and committed when it comes to financing options. I had a limited budget for this purchase, and David was able to help me set up an arrangement that worked for me.
If anyone I know is in the market for a pre-owned Honda, I will whole-heartedly send them to this team!
We purchased a Honda CRV. Zahi is a very helpful and friendly sales person that help us through with the Costco deal, simple and without push, that makes us feel very comfortable. At end of the deal, he even sat with us in the car to go through all the settings, download GPS guide, set the garage door program; all that in the previous car purchase, we had to go through all the pain to read the manual by ourselves. Surely appreciate his service attitude and warm personality.

I have been trying to work with Honda of Serramonte just so I would not have to leave a negative review. To be clear my car buying experience with them was good. I was in and out in almost 2hours and their sales people are true professionals. My awful and truly exasperating experience, which has marred the prior experience has to do with my trade-in vehicle. I walked in and handed my lien release to the front desk staff member. Instead now more than 3 weeks later I am being told the Finance dept does not have the document & could I get another copy? Also I have yet to receive a check for my trade-in when the delay is due to their personnel. I have had my new car for 6weeks now and they have had my old car for just as long yet I have yet to receive the check for it. Truly unbelievable.. the lack of customer service, responsibility or ownership of faults from this place.
