I took my car in for a recall repair for the airbag. I left my car with the service advisor named Oliver Velasquez. He was a pleasant and nice guy. When I picked it up, the airbag light won't turn off. I asked about it, because in the manual it says that the airbag light will only turn on for a moment when you start the car. If it stays on, the manual clearly states that there is a problem and to take it in immediately. The service department was closed when I got back to pick up my car and one of the "sales managers" (Francisco Ramirez) told me the light was on because my purse was too heavy?? I moved my purse (that weighs about 3 pounds) and the light stayed on. Then he changed his story and said that the "technician" who worked on my car (named Enrique Pineda) must have "left the sensor light on" and that I would have to make another appointment to get it fixed.
The reason I took the car in for repair was FOR THE AIRBAG and when I picked it up, the AIRBAG light was on, indicating a problem with the airbag. So, basically, I took it in to fix the airbag. They messed around with it, or no, who knows, and now the airbag light is on and I have to take it BACK in to have it fixed AGAIN!? How do I know if they even did what they said they were going to do?
NO one should EVER go to this place.
The Rep was very helpful and explained everything very clearly.
They charged $40 for a simple tire patch. Felt like a rip-off.
I see great reviews on this wall but Service/Replacement wise mechanics aren't expert about the problems of car or engines. I had to spent a lot of money on replacement the parts without knowing or seeing but still noise didn't stop so I am done with them. They said firsttime this, secondtime that, third oh more. they do not know or diagnose properly at the first place. I drove honda 275k before but this 2012 civic with 126k gave me problem. Honda doesn't know what's the problem of flickering noise inside the dashboard. If they don't know then they shouldn't do other unnecessary replacements. The problem of noise is still in there. That's what they did on my car. I am done with this place.
Once they take your car inside, you don't see they would say this that broken, needed replacement etc..., then you ended up paying more that's how they makes $$
I drove all the way across town to receive a better experience at Honda of Serramonte, and that's exactly what I got! Simon Chen is down to earth salesmen that didn't try to sell me a dream. When sharing my terrible predicament I came to them as my last resort. Not only were they able to place me in the car I really wanted, but they also threw in some incentives and didn't try to break my bank, which other dealerships in my area had done.
Constance the financer, who helped seal the deal really broke down my current loan/ trade in versus what my new car situation would be. She was very patient, explained, and assured me on all details. I am so appreciative of the experience and deal. I love my new car and will recommend this particular dealership to family and friends in the future!

I came in not knowing I was going to get a car, I was here to look around but than I had the sales person by the name of Eric come and help. He was extremely helpful and you can tell by the way he pertrays himself that he was experienced. He did all he could to help me look for the car I wanted, he didn t force anything on you like some car dealerships do he was there to just help, when it came down to trying to find the right price he helped out a lot and gave me an excellent deal especially for a brand new Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring. I just want to give a huge shoutout to Eric, he s great overall my experience with Honda Serramonte was great and I really recommend people go there and ask for Eric if he s available I m sure he can really help you out.
Finally got my new car! Honda Serramonte worth every penny I spent. The finance and sales teams made my purchase smooth and easy from the internet search all the way to the final signatures on the financing. I will definitely be coming to see them when my family are ready for the next car.

After my recent 75,000 mile service appointment, I noticed a fluid leak had started in the rear of the vehicle; this vehicle had never leaked a single drop of any fluid in the 6 years I have owned it. My service advisor Brian Wong greeted me and took in the vehicle, and had it back to me 1 1/2 hour later at no charge. There is no evidence of a leak now. Great!

Bounced around on the phone for 30 min to order parts and schedule an appointment. My phone cut out, so I tried to call back. No one answered, so I went online. Still can't get any responses. I call again, aggravated, just to be hung up on. Finally I just drive to the service department and am about to be pawned off again. Giving up, and will just find a different mechanic.

Teddy was a great help. He helped solve what was wrong with my tire losing air. After coming in 3 times to get it checked, they were able to finally find the nail that was causing the leak. Teddy was able to give me a good rate for the new tire and a complimentary car wash.
The reviews here must be written by staff because this hasn't been my experience with them at all and I would proceed with caution.
Long story, short, they undervalued my car for a trade in then gave me a non working number when I asked to speak to a manager. A little odd if you ask me.
I found them to be responsive until I had concerns or questions then the customer service seemed to almost vanish. But maybe this was a one off experience. Either way, prettt bad.
I was helped by TONY CHEN. He is amazingly good at customer service and understand what I am looking for and more importantly he listen to what am I looking for. Tony is a great asset to Honda Serramonte. Very accommodating and very personable. I truly appreciate his assistance.

I checked the website and a chatroom help came up and I made an appointment with them for the following day, a Monday.
Monday my husband went in early and was impressed for the fast accommodation and service.
Picked up the car in the afternoon and Eric Chau, the service consultant, told us he even had the car washed.!!! What a service.
I have been bugging my husband to bring car to the washer and so happy that Eric had it washed. Told my husband - see even people could not stand how dirty our car is!!
We have forgotten about our warranty and good grief it was still within the warranty mileage and we don't have to pay a cent!!

I arrived at a time when business was moving at all cylinders. As a customer service professional, I am not the one to come to a meeting an hour earlier than what was scheduled, but I was ready to buy a car and needed a test drive to make my decision. Enter Tony Chen, who was able to accommodate my request with a smile and never once pressured me during our encounter. While I didn't end up buying a car here, I do recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a new or used car.

Haven't got my license plate 2 months after purchase. I got a fiat 500e from this dealer and they promised to fix one of the AC vents. However they keep saying there is no parts to fix it after the purchase. After the sale is final, they're the boss. Plus the missing license plate I've visited this place 5+ times. If you don't want to waste your time so much as I do, stay away from this place.

My experience wasn t as good as I thought it would be. Everything was going well until I got to the finance part where the finance manager Jimmy NGO was rushing me through the paperwork and was persistent on me taking the optional extended warranty because I would get a lower interest rate. Came back a few days later to get rid of the optional warranty and it seems like he wasn t happy with my decision and was again being persistent on me keeping the warranty even though I had my mind already set up. Not the best experience when you have a finance manager who is trying to look out for himself rather than being polite and helping out the customers.
Came to check things out and get ideas for a probable purchase, deciding between Accord or Camry. Couldn t even get a glimpse of acknowledgment from anyone. Not spending a cent here

Our salesman at Honda Serramonte (initials TC) provided no hassle, exemplary service. I like taking my car here and everyone is really nice. The reason I took off one star is everytime I go I end up spending over $500 and it would be a nice to to pick up a washed and vacuumed car and maybe even a full tank. I just feel like you should get the full service.

I went in to have a "low tire" issue checked out. Within 5 minutes the mechanic Wilfredo came out and had the problem diagnosed. I was in and out of the shop and back on the road within 30 minutes. Bravo!

The whole experience was so easy and friendly. Jose Castro was the salesman that helped me, we first took a test drive Friday and I told him that I wanted to look at two other cars, he gave me his business card and told me to text him if I had any questions. No hard sell. I went to a Hyundai Dealership next and felt like a fly in a spiderweb. I got home knowing I was going to contact Jose. I sent him a text the next morning and told him I wanted the Civic. It was detailed and ready to go when I got there. I would recommend Jose in a heartbeat to my friends and family.

The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because I still feel like I was given a good deal when it came to the price. I purchased a used Toyota RAV4 2015 from Honda of Serramonte about 3 weeks ago. The car looked and felt great, had great history, and great mileage for a good price. I took the car for the test drive with my salesman, Rilee Archer, and everything was going well until I was driving down a hill and felt shaking when I would brake. I asked about it, Rilee said he didn't feel anything but that he'd have the mechanics take a look at it. We further into the evening, I decide to buy the car, leave the lot at about 8p/830p (after the lot closed) and drive off in my new car! All super exciting until immediately after getting on the freeway and I feel a vigorous shaking every time I brake. I call the dealership the next day and set up an appointment for a week or so later, after explaining the issue and asking if it was an issue that needed to be taken care of immediately or if I could go in a little later. They assure me it's no rush, say I can set up the appointment for whenever. Appointment day comes, I drive 3 hours just to get there from my home, and they tell me that it isn't their problem and they can't help me. BEFORE EVEN LOOKING AT MY CAR. We argue for 2 HOURS until the manager finally tells me that they can resurface to rotors for free in 2 days when the mechanic who originally worked on my car comes back from vacation (KNOWING I drove 3 hours just to get there) because "he is the mechanic who made the mistake so he has to lose the money for it," OR I could pay $300 for parts only, not labor, to replace the front rotor and back brake pads, since they all burned out over the short time that I had the car (since they gave me a car with a shot front rotor).
And since going to the dealership is an all-day event for me, of course I didn't want to go back another day! I should have never been asked to pay A DIME. It was THEIR mistake, I mentioned it to them before purchasing it, they said they'd fix it before I drove away, but yet I still had to pay $300 for their mistake?! So ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I hope to never have to go back there. EXTREMELY unhappy with my experience with Rilee Archer and Chris. Unfortunately, I was unable to get Chris' last name, otherwise that would have been mentioned on here, as well.
My service advisor was Darrell Wilson. He did an outstanding job with my Honda CRV. The staff is very courteous, welcoming and proffessional. I will continue to service my car at Honda of Serramonte.

Bobby again had helped me with a warranty claim that my White Diamond Pearl Odyssey paint peeled. I have sent him pictures immediately and he was quick in responding to emails and keeping me up to date with the claim status. He set me up with repair and car was fixed in 3 days! I have personally owned other car brands such as Toyota, BMW, Mazda and etc. and had never run into a service advisor that do really care about their customers and their vehicles. I bought another Honda due to the exceptional service i get from Bobby and the whole Honda Serramonte Team as well for American Honda, for always standing by their products and fixing reported issues.
The sales staff are extremely poor in quality and service!! Very enthusiastic when selling the car, less than a month after buying the car, I called to consult and refused to answer the phone. I finally found the salesman at the time. I didn't want to explain any questions. When I sold my car, I was very impatient. He said he was very busy and called back later. Then never call again. Very very poor service! I will never buy this car again if I need to change the car in the future!

Disappointed in their service department. Went in for a simple oil change. The experience was standard until I got the car back. They washed my car, but I could see oil marks in a couple places of the exteriors. Fine. But I opened the door and my center console was also full of oil. I ended up notifying an employee, who wiped it down, but please review with your technicians the checklist procedure when giving customers their cars back
Honda Serramonte was a fun experience. Their staff are not pushy salesman who try to shove sales down your throat. They are very friendly and will answer any question you desire to ask them. I had no problem getting a car from them and they made the process of getting a car pretty fast and simple. Purchased a new car from this dealership and overall the experience was good. I originally wanted a used car, but after discussing with the salesman and realizing and most dealerships now price cars based on CarFax, there was no room for negotiation on the price of the car and a new car was a better deal given the financing options.
