Had service done on my 2014 Accord. Edgar wrote up the work order, gave me the estimate and asked if I needed a shuttle ride. But since it was only going to take a couple hrs I decided to wait. When the work was completed he came and got me. I was out the door in about 1-1/2 hrs. Great work and quick service. I can always depend on Honda Pasadena to take care of me.

First of all, Sebastian who helped us is super professional, knowledgeable and so patient! I felt this car dealer was straight forward to deal with. First time taking this van for service. It took a bit longer than I was promised, however it was a last minute appointment and Chris contacted me before it was promised to tell me there was a delay.

I had B1 service at Honda of Pasadena.
Unfortunately it came out the biggest disappointment.

Here is the story,

I came in by myself for the appointment and a service lady greeted me outside of the service station.
She asked the reason that I come in for service and checked my car interior and exterior.
She also told me that a driver from Honda is able to send me home so I don't need to wait at the lobby during the service. So far it was awesome, I thought that I found right place for the future service.

15 mins after I got home, I received a phone call from that lady saying the Tech is not able to rotate my tires because it needs the key, I said "Okay, I will come back now for the key"( The key is in the truck but the truck was locked).
Then, I was transferred couple times on the phone to find right person to talk to about sending the driver, picking me up and go back to the dealer, the call was around 2:30 pm. On the phone, the coordinator said that they are sending out the driver.

At 2:45 pm, the driver service called me back saying the driver is not available to pick me up until 3:30 pm, so I responded nicely that I can wait. Turned out, the driver did not call me until 3:55pm and saying he has to pick up another customer first, probably would arrive at 4:20 PM.
When I got into the car, he said" I am sorry for being late because I was on the meeting." ??!! Seriously....

During the "driver waiting period", that Service Advisor lady called me again saying my tires doesn't need to be rotated now because they are "ALL New".

First, for the "Service Advisor" Lady when you check in a customer, should you be professional enough to ask all the necessary stuff you need for the service? Like keys?
If the tires does not need to be rotated, why did you call me at first place? And right after two hours, the tires became "ALL NEW"?

Also, for this driver, if you are not available that means you are NOT available, do not tell people you would be there, please respect other people's time.

So I pretty much spend half day back and forth the dealer dealing with the car service and turned out it only got half done and also paying for the full price. I feel sorry for my car and also for my day.

I was privileged to be there earlier this week and was very happy with the customer service, while also representing a good foundation of employees. Fred Kabrite was the person who had helped me that day in selecting my future car, assisting my family members with their questions, and had the best patience!! Honda Pasadena is growing on me but has more growing to do. Honestly the first time I called to schedule and appointment I wasn t sure if I would ever go back. I attempted to schedule a visit while I was driving, but they wouldn t schedule it without the VIN #.....who knows the VIN # of there vehicle by heart. I guess you have to be prepared at a desk with all of your vehicle documents to schedule a visit there....I physically went there to schedule the visit and was reassured that I would be able to provide my phone number going forward to schedule additional visits. Second appointment I attempted to make, same thing....requested VIN # apparently it wasn t put in the system. So now to my visit today: I made an appointment for a basic service arrived 10 minutes early, was told it would take an hour, which in my opinion is too long but it took 2 hours.

Now I will tell you my friend pulls up at the Lexus dealer and before she even gets out of the car they say Ms....thank you for coming, y because they have some sort of scanner that scans her license plate and her acct pulls up.

So anyway service is subpar, prices higher than other Honda dealers....you are probably like why do you go there.....well I ask myself the same question but overall at this point it s convenient.

My 2014 Accord Coupe was towed into Honda of Pasadena one month ago after it died in motion. The service team spent many hours working diligently to diagnose the problem. Although it was not an easy fix, they were determined to find the source of the problem, even scheduling a fuel tech expert to come and do an examination. In the mean time, I was provided a loaner at no charge. When it was discovered the PCM (computer) was the issue, Honda honored my warranty and replaced the part at no cost, which was approx $1500. I will add that the service manager, Chris Hansen, was very kind and helpful throughout the ordeal. He returned my calls promptly and kept me updated.
Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Honda of Pasadena. I highly recommend their establishment for your service needs.

I was assisted by the advisor Mike Tran during my recent visit to the service center. I am actually a returning client and have been assisted by Mike Tran and the Honda Pasadena service center in the past. He has always been professional, patient, & efficient, which is why I continue to schedule my appointments with him. Recently, my car wasn t running as smoothly. I didn t know what the problem was but they were able to find the issue promptly. I dropped off my car and after a couple of hours, I received a text with the breakdown of the issue & cost. It may it easy to reference back to the text message any time I had a question. I am thankful that they were able to assist me and plan to return again in the future for any car trouble I may encounter.

I have a new pre-owned Honda that I bought else where. We needed a service, but I figured the Dealer was the last place I wanted to go. I figured they would hike prices and try to sell me everything I didn t need. I found them quite the opposite! I felt they tried to save me money and only service what really needed it. Staff were very polite pleasant and professional. With Covid, I felt cared about and SAFE!

I really sad .I have a bad experience with Honda Pasadena in the beginning they give me a VIN number and spend another VIN number to The Case Manager, today they change the contract after they received $9500 from replace your ride program as a down payment and $212 each month for a lease car for new charity 2018 and change their words about maintenance and change oil they want us to pay for that or participate in warranty plan by payment 264:330 dollars each month more than the monthly payment but in the first contract they said it is under warranty for 3yrs or 36000 miles . It is a Worest dealership ever I have A car from Toyota really I appreciate them . I don t recommend Honda for anyone of my friends .

I've bought 5 cars over the last 11 years from HoP. While all transactions were excellent, that last car I bought, the salesman, Diego Albalais, stood out from all the others. He was very knowledgeable how the car that I bought worked, and he carefully helped me with financing options.

He spent a lot of time with me, explaining how everything worked from the engine, to the interior controls, and when we went for a drive, he helped me through all of the new technical wonders of the car.

When it's time to buy my next car there, I have an endless number of children, he's the only salesman I'll work with.

I have been coming to Honda of Pasadena for about four years now for service to my Civic. Last week I came for an AC repair and was assisted by Juan Morales. Juan provided an excellent service, he was transparent about the costs, kept me updated about the state of the repairs, made sure I had transportation to and from the dealership, and assured me of quality of the repair. Juan was very responsive as well, answering any questions I had. At no point in the process did I ever feel confused or lost, which are common in large repairs for vehicles. I thank Juan for that. I recommend to anyone going to this dealer for a repair or service, to ask for Juan, for the best and most efficient service.

It was only 4 months before the heat kicked in before I noticed the A/C was blowing cool and not cold. Of course I purchased extend warranty only because I was have pcu problems since the begining of my purchase. Honda is just not made like the models before 2006.

I just recently purchased my second crosstour and as usual the service was impeccable. Thanks to RC and Travis for a warm welcome and prompt paperwork and a thank you to both Arce and David Tu who have worked the numbers and closed the deal for years now. I have referred three customers to the Honda team in Pasadena and will continue to do so. They are wonderful and I truly appreciate them all.

Fred was super helpful in our quick purchase of a CR-V. Our car got totaled in an accident, so we had to quickly research and find a great car. Fred wasn't pushy but also kept up with us to make sure that we got taken care of. He was knowledgeable about the cars and helped think about the pro's and con's of each of the options. I don't write reviews very often, but sometimes you have to give credit where credit is due. Last week, my air conditioning quit working. It's been getting hotter and hotter in LA, so I wanted to get it fixed quickly. I called Honda of Hollywood and asked for Karen Takahashi in the Service Department, who I've known and trusted for years. To my surprise, I learned that Karen had moved to Honda of Pasadena. Now, I should note that Pasadena isn't exactly close to where I live. However, as some of you can probably relate, when you find someone you trust, that person becomes worth their weight in gold, especially when you're dealing with automotive repairs. So, I called Karen to make an appointment. My only real concern was COVID-19 and what precautions Honda may or may not be taking in general. Karen had me come in the first thing Monday morning. The Service Department was incredibly busy, but they did a good job juggling everyone quickly and, I must add, safely. The employees were wearing masks, disinfecting often, etc. As usual, Karen was a dream. I had a problem with my relay, which turned out to be a relatively inexpensive fix and cheaper than I'd expected. My car was ready within an hour or so. I have some additional repairs on the horizon, but I felt no pressure to have them done right away. I really like it when people are straight with me and that's how I feel about Karen and Honda of Pasadena. Despite the extra driving time, I will be happy to return. In the meantime, I'm loving my A/C.

I just had a wonderful experience at Honda of Pasadena buying a new Honda Civic EX-L. Huge kudos to Hector Correa and RC Chavez. They made the experience so easy and smooth! Hector worked with me in such a professional manner and helped me with several decisions. RC made the financing process painless. I compared my 2.5 hour experience with a friend's 6.5 hour experience. I highly recommend that if you are anywhere near Pasadena, go to Hector and let him help you. You can't go wrong with a Honda, Hector, or RC!!!!

My experience has purely been a fantasy materializing in front of my eyes as Juanito Enrera helped me through getting a brand new 2014 Honda Civic LX 30 mins. ago I don't know if you could get that intuitive/enthusiastic approach to car selling from other sales people but the moment you encounter Juanito, it's like my world feels so light, while the excitement is building up for the brand new car. I was having problems with my Accord and was not able to start it. Dashboard light would flicker but there were no crank when turning the key in the ignition. Eventually, I got it to turn on by jump starting it twice this morning; However, this had happened once before, a few days ago.

I am certain I didn't leave any power on before I turned off my car. I thought my batteries couldn't be the problem as my 2017 Accord was still very much a new car. I mean, I purchased it last year used with 11k miles and my car hasn't yet even reached 30k miles.

Long story short, Honda Severice of Pasadena got me in and out. They informed that these batteries, for newer cars, aren't made like the used to and seemed to not hold charge. No joke as there was a 2017 Odyssey there for the same reason. Well, I got a new battery, under warranty. I wouldn't be too happy if I had to pay for a battery for having the car for only a year (2 yr old car only).

Although It s expensive to maintain my Accord with Honda, I go there because I want the work to be thorough. This time all that was required was an oil change and a tire rotation. Because I go to fire stone for my tires, I just asked for the oil change. Honda called me to let me know that additional items needed to be taken care of. I think they were being extra careful because I told them I would be driving across country in a week or two. At any rate, the final bill was over $1200. Not a problem because I want to feel safe. The next day however I took my car in to fire stone for the rotation and alignment. While there, they let me know that I had corrosion on the battery connections. I had them take a picture, and it was pretty bad. I called Honda to let them know they slipped up, and that I had to pay sixteen dollars to have the connections cleaned and the battery tested. I was told by my service rep. That I should have told them about it and they would have cleaned them for free. And that s all he had to say. So either he expected that I would know what work needed to be done under the hood(which I don t- that s why I bring my car to the service department), or he expected me to bring my car back to Honda so that they could clean the connections. The service rep did not seem to understand that this was not cool and that customers don t have a lot of free time to drive back and forth to the dealership. I finally hung up on him because he wasn t getting it. Bottom line- the service rep is the only person that the customer interacts with, so Honda needs to make sure that that person leaves the impression that Honda cares about the service they give.

Based on other dealerships and my own experiences, this dealership definitely sales overpriced used vehicles. However, this became a minor problem once I spoke with the staff. I spoke with Lynn the "sales manager" and from the beginning he was hostile when I said "I get it it's a salesman job but taking advantage and suckering an elderly man to a bad deal is not nice" and proceeded to ask if there was any way I could return the car within 24 hours. He went on a rant talking over & schooling me on how my elderly father made the deal and next time before letting him come in by himself I should go. Aside from that there's several other things he said that were not appropriate. I truly hope his superior listens to the phone call. I got my honda in new century honda and they genuinely cared for the customer. The team was not pushy in trying to make a sale and even offered me a day to go home and think about it. Im no expert but I know good customer service. I can't expect his staff to be any better if their model is someone who HANGS UP ON CUSTOMERS. Although it's not a house it's still a big financial commitment that everyone wants to feel comfortable with. STAY AWAY IF YOU'RE NOT EXPERIENCED DEALING WITH SALESMEN.

Friendly staff with genuine personality. My salesman, Tyke Zorbas, was fun to chat with and he made me feel comfortable. The Finance Dept was good, too. My new vehicle was washed, detailed, and handed over to me with a full tank of gas after we reached a good deal and all of the paperwork was done. I recommend this dealership to those who are shopping for Honda vehicles.

I have taken my car here several times for maintenance and we have even purchased another vehicle for our family from here. I have even recommended several friends and family members here to purchase vehicles after having had such nightmares with other Honda dealers in the area. Never again.

I brought in my 2010 Honda Civic for the airbag recall. When I went to pick up my car, I noticed that they had ruined the plastic on the door pillar on both sides, but especially on the passenger side. My car was not in this condition when I dropped it off in the morning.

For my service representative, Edgar Martinez, and manager Brooke Gomez, to claim that it happens over time is a bold, brazen lie. Does plastic degrade over time? Yes. Does it degrade where it has evenly spaced scratches spread throughout the plastic panel? No it does not. .

Brooke, is belligerent, hostile and has no sense of customer service whatsoever. All she could offer was lie after lie, excuse after excuse, continuing to repeat that she has seen a lot of cars have this issue. Could she explain why they were even marks? No, she could not.

I'm not an unreasonable person. All I requested was that I see the video tapes of my car driving into the repair station, getting repaired, and then driven out to be parked to be absolutely certain. Brooke initially told me that even if she were to show me the videos, I wouldn't be able to see much because they played "8 times." I asked her to clarify what this means, she said they play at 8x the speed. I said that's fine, I have the time. She said she would call me tomorrow for me to see them because she would need time to pull them up. Both of these turned out to be lies. I asked for her contact information, any supervisor contact information, and the owner's email. Let it be known that she gave me the incorrect phone number for escalation to American Honda. Whether this was intentional or not, I have no idea.

When I step into her office, she continues to repeat herself over again about how it's normal wear. That does not explain why the marks were not there in the morning. She called what I said an "opinion." When I persisted for the contact information, and to remind her that I wanted to see the footage, she became hard to work with and absolutely rude. I've never had this level of belligerence from the numerous times that I've taken my car here. She told me that she may or may not even have footage of the car being repaired and asserted that it is NORMAL for a dealership of a large brand to NOT have service repair footage. I pressed further to remind her I wanted to see the footage, and what do you know - she pulled them up within a minute. They played one minute from the time I dropped off my car. The part about not being able to pull up the footage? A bold lie to the customer. The part about it only playing at 8x speed? Another lie. There were no evident marks on my car when it was dropped off. I wanted to see the rest of the footage of it being repaired. Brooke refused and said I could either leave, or she would call the police.

Threatening to call the police, after requesting to view the footage of the repair on MY vehicle, that I took time out of my day for, because of a defective, life threatening recalled part - is this how you treat customers? Is this how you pride your leadership, yourself on acting in a management role?

Brooke, speaking OVER someone does not make you right. When a customer has something to say, do not attempt to speak over them. I let you tell me what you had to say, so let me finish what I have to say. This is an extremely poor way to talk to ANY customer, let alone for a service manager to act in this way. I have to echo what the other reviews have stated about the service department now and especially about Brooke. I absolutely regret every referral that I've given to friends and family members who have purchased vehicles or received service repairs here, and I will no longer recommend Honda of Pasadena again thanks to the experience I had today with Brooke.

I purchased a '15 civic ex from the dealership a month or so ago. Prior to purchasing, I went to numerous Honda dealerships. I also visited used car places. The smartest and nicest individual I encountered is Kenny La. He is the reason why I purchased my new car from your company, and not from others. Sometimes, the deciding factor is excellent customer service. It was the deciding factor with my new car purchase. Thank you Kenny La!
