I'm proud to say that I've been working for the company for over a year and half and really enjoyed my time with them. All the carers I've met were friendly, professional and truly caring and I've build long lasting friendships which are a rare thing nowadays ! Everyone is very supportive, especially in the office there is always someone to ask questions to and they are always there to help. You can see that the management is passionate about what they do and transmit their passion to others which makes it a pleasure to work for them.
The company maintains very high standards at all times and really cares about quality. It's definitely not a surprise that there are so many people that want to join them !

The carers were patient , sympathetic , attentive and compassionate .
Over a number of years ,once only did I request that a particular carer not to be assigned to my Mom . This request was adhered to .

The Private Care Company is probably one of the best care companies in Brighton and Hove. The Managers do all they can to assure clients receive continued care from the same staff when possible. Work environment is professional and friendly and the needs of care workers are usually met. I have enjoyed working for them and would recommend The Private Care Company to anyone willing to start a job as Carer.

The PCC provided outstanding care for the last 5 years to my parents , initially my mother and latterly my father. All the carers have been fantastic, professional, helpful , reliable and genuinely caring people and that also includes the office and back up staff. Josie , the care manager , has ensured that the correct level of care has been provided as and when required which has been a real help and a weight off my mind as I don't live locally. With the help of the day carers and then live in carers , both my parents were able to remain in their much loved and familiar own home .

I would be very happy to recommend the Private Care Company. Their help enabled us to care for my elderly mother at home during the last days of her life, as she had so wanted. Without exception, the carers showed compassion, thoughtfulness, respect and sensitivity to my mother and to ourselves. They always arrived on time, were genuinely caring and showed complete professionalism, combined with common sense, ensuring that the quality of care was excellent. Josie, the owner, shows great expertise in running the company and provides as much continuity as possible when allocating carers to visits throughout the day.

I was very impressed with the quality of care provided by PCC to my mother during her last months. The carers were professional, kind, sensitive and
respectful - in often very difficult and distressing circumstances. Thanks
to them she was able to remain in her own home, which was her sole wish.

Terrible company to work for. There were 5 of us on training, 3 of us no longer work there within less than a month of training and the other 2 are seriously considering leaving based on how they have treated us! Awful.

The Private Care Company provides home care and live in care in and around the city. I have worked for The Private Care Company for 18 months now, and I love it, the best move I ever made. It provides a good home and work life balance. The company is very organised and everyone is very nice, friendly and approachable. I feel very supported within the team. The company provides a good induction training programme, ensuring that the carers have the necessary skills and care certificate qualifications to meet the clients needs.

I worked for this company as a carer for two years. All the staff I met were very lovely and I generally felt that the business was run well and fairly. There will always be obstacles and difficulties in care work, but The Priavate Care company worked to minimise these problems, at least in my own experience.

5 Stars Care Company. Outstanding in many ways. I had the privilege to work for PCC over 3 years. I liked the comfort of work. There was:
- no rush as the calls are long enough to provide the complete care,
- no hassle with going to the office,
- no paperwork as they were first to introduce the fast and easy online reporting system and digital log book,
- no gaps between calls, which makes the work smooth and well paid,
- no changes to the rota unless it needs to be slightly amended,
- no long distance travelling between clients as they are all in one area.
Their innovative structure and organisation of work, as well as the management are admirable.

Fabulous company!

I worked for the Private Care Company as a carer for 4 months, and had a really good experience. As employers they gave me loads of support, and the other staff were lovely. They were professional, friendly and helpful.

On behalf of all the family, I just wanted to say how much we valued the care M gave to our mum Gwen in her last few days. She was a very supportive presence and felt like our fairy godmother. She chatted with us and we got to know each other, but she also gave us plenty of space to be with our mum privately. We could not have wished for better care, so thank you for finding M at such short notice and thank you to M for being so intuitive in the way she provided care.

My mother, Joyce Woodall (also known as Williams) is a very frail 97 year old lady with multiple health problems and some cognitive impairment. She received an excellent service from this care company over a period of 2-3 years. Initially, she received four visits a day to help her with her meals and personal care, and then, after further deterioration in her health, had a live-in carer. The cost of the latter was very competitive.

All the carers were kind and compassionate and carried out their duties with pride and professionalism. They received considerable training and support from the company, who regularly did spot checks. Record keeping was good and I was always able to find out exactly how my mother was progressing. She became very fond of some of them calling them 'my lovely carers' .

Overall, the service was very reliable and well organised with 24 hour back-up available. Josie, the person in charge, was also very knowledgeable and able to advise on best practices in coping with various difficulties that arose and how to negotiate other services. Many carers told me that they had worked for other companies and this one was the best. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

I enjoyed working for Josie and the rest of her team. I worked with them for two years. They are one of the best care agencies in Brighton and Hove.
