Great location near airport. Shuttle got us from the airport, and took us around within two mile radius. You can walk to Outback Steakhouse, Flemings Steakhouse or Capital Grille. You can walk to the mall and even shuttle back if you shopped all day like I did lol. Room was very clean, pool was heated and perfect. Staff was so nice, Stephenie & Pablo customer service was so professional. Every time we stay in Tampa this is our location.

Unfortunately I was not able to stay in this hotel because they were booked for Saturday but I would have loved too! Great customer service! I am a customer service manager and the gentleman that took my call exceeded my expectations. Instead of just stating they were booked like the 12 hotels I had called prior he asked what I was not only coming in for but what I was looking for and stayed on the phone with me until he not only found and booked another hotel for me but since they would not have the shuttle service to the port I was looking for gave me the name and number to a service we could use. Sorry I missed his name but if the rest of the staff here is anything like this gentelman you WANT to stay here!

Sorry let me say the call center totally crew up my reservations . Charging me a different price for every day for the next 4 days. ..well the young lady the desk gave me the lowest rate for the 4 days..The place is nice and clean. You know what I like the shower controls on the opposite side hey great idea. The staff is amazing so for. There is a bar down stairs with food. Bath room just ok..room kinda in like Hyatt but better.

Ryan was the bartender and took execllent care of me. Very knowledgeable and personable. The himmas dip was very good, and the bar itself had a nice quiet ambiance.

The location was very clean and luxurious. I was very impressed.

Terrible management and it gets worse from there!

We booked 3 Kings and were given Queen rooms without being told. After getting to our room we went back down and told them about this and the Assistant Manager said that since we wanted rooms on the same floor he put us in Queens.

Then the Manager came from the back and said that since we booked via third-party, we do not get to choose which rooms we get to be in (even though we selected the room-type online).

After being vocal enough where the guests behind us heard our dilemma, the manager decided to accommodate us with the rooms we booked.

Before we could walk away with our new keys we heard 2 separate guests complain that they either did not get housekeeping or that housekeeping did a poor job. That was a sign of things to come.

The next morning when I tried to shower the water was dangerously hot. Even on the coldest setting I could not stand under the shower without being burned. So I took my shower for the next two morning getting in and out of the water so that I would not get burned.

To no surprise, we did not get housekeeping service. When we informed the front desk, we were very rudely told that we probably had our "Do not disturb" sign on the door. We did not..

Eventually our room was cleaned at 6pm..

I will never stay at a Hilton again. For such a high price you are much better staying at a Marriott where you will actually get what you pay for.

They didn't even have a microwave in the rooms. There was one community microwave in the hallway that everyone shared.

Bad management, staff, housekeeping, amenities, shower, dirty towels, etc. This place was a nightmare. I stayed at a Comfort Inn before that blew this place out of the water.

I am so unhappy with my stay its absolutely unbelievable!

OH BTW, this was a business trip and I was in charge of booking the rooms. I was deeply ashamed at where I led my business partners.

Great hotel! Nice clean rooms. Love the renovations. Really big fan of the new shower, and staff was super friendly.

Visited for a company event.

The most poorly maintained Hilton/Hampton Hotel that I've ever stayed at. (I'm a Hilton Honors member and typically use their facilities.)

Summary:
- The room was certified "Pure", meaning that it had a free standing, plug in air purifier at the foot of the bed. I assume that this was due in part to the large water stains on the ceiling, which might have produced mold. Some of the folks in my group who had them (not everyone did) turned them off during the night (I did) because of the noise. (One person experienced congestion and discomfort. I did not.)
- Difficult to connect to the wi-fi. Twice got a message that it was not a safe source.
- The room was freezing. I set the thermostat at 80. (It was not secured to the wall.) The room temp was showing 74 (it felt colder) and the AC continued to run. Other members of my group experienced the opposite: they couldn't get their rooms to cool down.
- The toilet paper holder was broken. The t-p was in it when I arrived, but as soon as I touched it, the holder fell out.
- It took the bath sink several minutes to drain.
- The shower ceiling was also stained. (More evidence of mold?) and the escutcheon at the shower head wouldn't stay in place at the wall.
- Bathrooms are very small.
- The ceilings are seven foot high. The first morning, I scratched my hand on the overhead sprinkler when I hit it while putting my shirt on. (I'm 6'2".)
- My group was provided continental breakfasts in our meeting room. The selection/quantity was fair.

Positives: Good location. The bar is convenient.

I was there for a job fair. The hotel seemed clean and quiet.

Went here for a work event. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

I'm required to stay at this hotel for work, but I would not chose it on my own. The amenities and location are fine, but it is quite noisey with slamming doors and there is ALWAYS a problem with transportation.

Terribly disappointed with this hotel. Waited an hour to check-in and they had issues with corporate credit card provided to guarantee. Sent us to the bar restaurant and waited another hour, only to find out the room was ready within 30 minutes and we weren't notified. Trash was left outside the door of the room next to us for over 2 days and my daughter left her blanket and stuffed animal in the room, and it cannot be found. Will NEVER stay at another Hilton again. Horrible service.

The interiors are exceptionally good and good customer service. But pillow was too old and untidy and the bed sheets we got were not looking clean.

Nice entrance and lecture facilities. Very attentive, room is a little dated but clean and nice.

If you don't speak Spanish go to a different place banquet facility needs new management that speaks English plus he is rude to his coworkers how speak English one of the worst experience I have ever seen in the hospitality industry

Kind of ordinary. The hotel itself is probably but it's been updated in areas to give it a newer feeling. Other reviewers seem to be spot on about cleanliness, it can be improved upon but it's within acceptance.

Great hotel, wonderful location, clean updated rooms and super staff! Thank you to our wonderful front desk agent Ms. Tangela, thanks for taking your time and accommodating the needs of my parents! Ms. Radika our Breakfast was great but your hospitality astronomical, just top notch all the way around. My son cant stop talking about how sweet you were to him. All staff was wonderful but these two ladies made our stay everything we could have wanted and more! Cant wait to come back!!

Although we had issues with our security latch closing when we left the room making it impossible to get back in was a great hotel. They got us back in our room by climbing from balcony in room next to ours and going in the balcony door. 12th floor room with nice view, couch, desk, nice size bathroom, and comfy bed. We had breakfast voucher for full buffett breakfast which was awesome and a late check out at 230pm. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very nice. The staff is not so much. My second day there I asked front desk to please come change my sheets and towels- they assured me no worries you are on the list today. Housekeeping never came to my room. I called the front desk multiple times- no answer. I didn t bother with it. After the stay- I called to dispute a charge on one of my guest s cards (who had nothing to do with my reservation) and the girl at the front desk was rude and instead of trying to understand the situation told me I was wrong and that she wasn t there when the charge was made. Awful customer service. Ended up having to call corporate. Checking in is an ease- but my experience was that if any mistake is made on their end it s a hassle that I think nobody wants to deal with.

Disgusting. The place is completing run down. I'm here now and can't wait to switch to Marriott. I've stayed in 3 different Hilton hotels this week, and they were all disgusting. This one has mildew in the shower, the shower wasn't completely clean, and the shower floor sunk in when stepping in different areas. It smelt bad, it looked dirty and it didn't match the pictures well. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the bed is more comfortable than most Hiltons. Take your money to Marriott

This had to be the worst hotel stay ever! As soon as I arrived to the hotel I decided to take a shower but unfortunately the shower had silverfish and blood on the curtain. It was absolutely disgusting! As well as the shower being unsanitary, it wouldn't drain! I complained to the front desk and they had someone clean it but it was still not as clean as I would hope. On top of that, there was some light flooding in my room and when I spoke to the front desk about it they simply brushed it off and told me to notify them if it got any worse. The worst part about the flooding had to be when we received a call at 8 am asking about the condition of the flood. It was such an inconvenience to be woken up so early especially due to the fact that the night before the hotel alarm went off at 2:15 in the morning. This was such a terrifying experience when we were told to evacuate the hotel. It was extra traumatizing since I do suffer from anxiety and the hotel never explained what had occurred. I really wish they would've communicated more efficiently with us. I couldn't sleep the whole night wondering if we were truly safe. Overall, I had such a terrible weekend.

The worst exit from the parking lot I have ever experienced. I will NEVER return.

Nice place, clean, comfortable bed. Close to a lot of good places to eat.

I'm Hilton diamond and I called to ask for an early check-in. I was told that the hotel was sold out the night prior and they were not offering early check-in. I asked to be put on a list to be called whenever a room was clean. That request was denied. I then asked why they would have a clean room but not let people check in. The lady told me that was not the case they would let people check in she was very rude about it. I got frustrated and just hung up. I'll stick with Marriotts in the future.

Nice place, the room was good and beautifully designed, the bathroom also looks really good. The main lobby looks very nice as well, I really liked how it looks . The housekeeping is very poor though, the bathroom floor next to the shower have hair including the sink ! WT hell !!! There's no glasses in the bathroom or ice bucket. One of the pillows have splatter of either blood or catsup ? Makes you wonder if the sheets have been changed at all ? The front desk girl is either new or just doesn't know anything, she's nice and courteous but just of no help at all ( we checked in almost midnight after a long delayed flight ). They can probably do better. The wait staff at the breakfast buffet is great and even the front desk manager? Other than the cleanliness and attention to detail in the up keep of the room, I'd say it's ok.

Attentive, friendly service. Good rate. Room was clean and as expected. Shuttle to airport leaves every 30 mins. Shuttle driver is a good guy. Would return.

Horrible!!!!! First they gave me a room that was not even ready and cleaned. Second after I was given another room someone walked in in to my room at 12:40am which he was also given the room key as his room. Third the coffee maker have mold all inside it. Fourth the shower tub have blood stain on it. Overall it was the most nightmarish experience. And the front desk person I believe his name is Pablo was also horrible

Room service only cleaned the bathroom once while we stayed there for two nights, and that was only after calling down to the front desk to have them clean the room. Even in that case they only cleaned the bathroom and ignored the rest of the room.

Lobby was under construction while I was there but it was not bothersome. Room redesign is nice and modern. Bed was very comfy.

This Hilton Tampa Hotel is very clean and is all about "Pure Wellness". My room had a pure air dehumidifier, which I totally appreciated due to my asthma. The staff are very friendly, they make you feel welcome.

Great bed; 10 mins from airport which came in handy for early flight.

The 5/stars is for a housekeeper name Ms. Louise.
You know there are individuals that do what they are hired to do no more no less.
Then there are individuals that GO BEYOND and ABOVE. You know GO THAT EXTRA MILE.
Ms. Louise is so very pleasant in her smile and her kind heart.
The Hilton at Westshore itself is loaded with a Great Staff of caring hearts but Ms. Louise is a cut above the Best. Amen

24 hour gym access, small but gets the job done while away from home

Breakfast was very poor. Hotel is quite old. 3 star hotel

Awful customer service. It was difficult getting a shuttle that we had already paid for from the airport. The customer service representative said she took down our number for the driver to call when he arrived at the airport. After an hour of waiting at the airport and numerous calls, we were finally picked up with apologies from the shuttle driver. He said that our phone number was never taken down. Very disappointed.

Nice location for an airport hotel. Staff is not helpful at all, across the street from a mall and many places to eat. One of my complaints was the elevators. Only one was working so that's a bit annoying. Nice room size.

My biggest complaint was my $18 breakfast. It was horrible and the server was very slow. There were only 2 other people there for breakfast and it took her 15 minutes just to bring me a water I had to ask twice for. I was disappointed in the pancakes, it's buttermilk pancakes... how do you mess that up!

Friendly staff, but had trouble with the airport shuttle

Had to stay here due to cancelled flights. All the staff were understanding and accommodating.

Significantly improved since the last time I was here. Would be 5 stars if they had electric vehicle chatting. (Hint, Tesla has a program where they give free charges to places like hotels)

Located near the mall and various amenities. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful. My room was newly remodeled and the AC unit would turn on and freeze the room and then turn off long enough for it to get really hot. The unit was also loud enough to wake you up each time it transitioned.

Hotel is nice, but 14 bucks for a breakfast buffet no better than any other hotels free breakfast is a little absurd.

Very considerate staff, accommodating, quite. I slept.

Visited the bar/lounge at the Hilton for a few drinks after dinner as other nearby venues were closed. The drinks were decent, although a large group in the bar were getting quite intoxicated and out of hand. This ultimately led to tempers flaring and small scuffles.

Lovely staff, especially in the restaurant but this hotel is desperately in need of a refurbishment

So this is a little bit of a different review. I am an Uber driver and I stopped in here to use the restroom. Granted, I didn't really have any interactions with staff, but if you're driving late night it is a nice place to stop in, maybe buy something from there convenience store area, and use the restroom.

This is a great hotel and very convenient to the airport however they don't enforce their policies of NO SMOKING. I was placed next to a couple smoking Cannabis and the solution was to punish me and make me move rooms. This is totally unacceptable when the policy is clear and the front desk won't enforce the rules. They claimed they would charge them for cleaning the room. What a joke when my room was full of smoke. If you don't like smoke, don't stay at this Hotel.

Cons:
Parking charge plus taxes were ridiculous ($12 plus tax per night)

The workers lack genuine customer service, they seem like its just a job. No genuine care.

There was a massive leak in lobby, workers had to put down towels to catch the drips during a party on sunday.

My bathroom had mildew in shower and the wall near shower lever was chipped. (see pictures)

No free wifi unless you sign up, which I did but still did not help. For better wifi its $10 per day.

There was construction outside my window and would make me at 545-6am every morning, I had to play rain or nature sounds to drown out the construction.

They have cable but limited channels.

Items for purchase were very expensive.
I was craving sweets for me and my daughyet so I bought ice cream (twix ice cream. snickers ice cream) $5 each. $9 if you wanted a pint.

I felt I overpaid for my stay, it was not a bad stay but I most likely would come primarily because of parking fee and lack of customer service not be taken seriously.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore and cannot begin to express how much I enjoyed this stay. From the second I arrived the staff was attentive and thoroughly helpful. The hotel was immaculate, and the meeting space was well maintained. The back of the house catered to our every meeting need and did more than the typical set it and forget it we have received from other locations. A special shout out to Ellen L. for going above and beyond to ensure my stay was first class. Thank you for living up and surpassing what I've come to love about the Hilton brand.

I've stayed here on multiple trips. I've always been pleased. Make sure to stop by the bar & ask for Renee or Tubby. Both are extremely friendly & are a great source of information about the area. Some floors have been recently remodeled. You'll be happier if you ask for these floors.

The hotel is in desperate need of updates. The coffee maker in my room had standing stagnant water with bugs in it. I had to call the front desk to get it replaced. I also noticed a flea in the room so it could do with some pest control.

I travel a lot. But this hotel is worst ever! It is located near Tampa airport, 7 min away. I took me one hour to arrive from the airport using their complementally shuttle which is totally unreliable. You may well want to stay in one hour away hotel from the airport. You really don't want to wait for one hour at late night at airport after your long flight.

Nice hotel. Location isn t the best. Bar is kind of small. But for a hotel it s a Hilton. Which means it s going to be nice.

Great Location. Large Spacious Rooms. Great Restaurant and Staff. Some of the Staff are not very Friendly.

Wish there was a lower rating.... bluf: spotty wifi never worked enough to use (was there 2wks), no laundry machines on site, there's one microwave on the premises and it's by the pool (not in your room), shower had a lot of somebody else's hair in it upon arrival - AND after the first day of 'cleaning' (had to request it be actually cleaned, but I doubt more than hair removal happened), a friend I'm travelling with had a used shampoo bottle in his bathroom, the in-room coffee maker has to be plugged in on your nightstand because there's no other outlets, and not so much as a plastic wrapped donut for breakfast...

Be careful if you stay on the sixth floor! I did two nights ago and now I'm covered in bed bug bites. I called to let the hotel know and the girl who answered the phone was very rude. I didn't remember the exact room I was in and she replied "woooowwwww you don't even remember your room number." Even though she was able to look it up under my name. Never got a call back or anything.
