Hilton Tampa Westshore Review

Nice rooms and nice location, food courts within walking distance and close to Raymond James Stadium espically if the Superbowl happens for Tampa location.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton stress-free worry-free comfortable bed, good size pool plenty of towels as you walk out to the pool knowledgeable bartender unfortunately there's not much to walk to close by surrounded by other hotels....

No points! Clean room but they won't honor their points if booked on a third party website.

Good hotel experience. Fast check in, clean room, conveniently located, good staff. One of the best Hilton hotels I've stayed in.

Rooms are old, water cost you $3 dollars, small bathroom, no central lights switch, no cups in the bath room, bed smells old and humid. With this rate I would expect more from Hilton. This is more like 3 stars hotel.

Not finished as yet but are taking guests anyway. I think they are still working out the " kinks". Hey, but I was the first one to use the in house hair dryer in my room. Do not count on a wake-up up call. Restaraunt is sparse. Not much else in the area to walk to. October. 28, 2018

Nice hotel with great location to airport. Staff is friendly and attentive. Kevin, the host at the restaurant, is wonderful. He is very friendly and very customer service oriented. Good experience overall!!

Stayed in "recently renovated" 10th floor. No vending/ice on floor, bad wifi signal, uncomfortable pillows. Overall well located, very friendly staff, and excellent shuttle service

I have stayed at this hotel several times and is great. Clean rooms. Great parking and adjacent to dinners. Great location and staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy to find, and the facilities were kept very neat. I came for a business meeting, and I would certainly come here again.

I stayed here last night. The accommodations were nice enough. However, I was very disappointed with the service level and staff. I booked a room directly with Hilton as a Hilton Honors member. The room I booked was a king. I got to the hotel, checked in and went up to my room only to find two queens. I called to the front desk and was told they were out of king rooms, "thanks for understanding." First of all, you would think that booking directly with Hilton, they would know how many rooms they have available. Second, I'm usually pretty easy going. If they had told me at the front desk, "Hey, sorry. We are out of king rooms, so you're in a queen," I probably would have been okay with it. Instead, their attitude was more like we don't care what you booked, you'll take what we give you, "thanks for understanding." I've been a loyal Hilton Honors member for years. After this experience, I'll be rethinking that.

Good news is that this place cares about doing the right thing. I had an issue with noise in my room; they moved me after trying to fix the problem. Got a sincere note from the manager and a reward for helping him make his property better. Its an old building needing a major reno but the staff seems to care about service. Better than average.

When I first arrived, I was immediately taken care of. We were able to check in pretty early, and our room was clean and well maintained. With one minor issue, I spoke with Hannah at the front desk, and Debra along with the executive team were able to resolve it quickly. I was celebrating my birthday and I couldn t be happier with the staff and all of their sincerity during my stay. I will definitely use this location again when I return to Tampa. Very professional, very kind, extremely helpful staff, especially Hannah, Debra, and Alexis. Thank you kindly for making my stay a pleasant one.

We had a meeting at the hotel, the floor in the restroom was so slippery i thought i was going to fall and break my neck.

Definitely dated. Needs upgrades. Moldy shower. Carpet needs replacing. Pool area weedy needs attention

Horrible place came down for breakfast to see it was closed down by health inspector for health code disgusting never comeing here sadly i had ate there the day before

Great feel and love their pure air filtering. We did have some loud construction for 30-45min however mid-afternoon.

Nice hotel, great location, near football arena. The lobby is spacious. I booked with the included breakfast and it was great food.

Enjoyed the hotel with the top rooms and a hot pool.And I think it can be upgraded is the gym which was a bit less equipment than expected from a big Hilton hotel and maybe open up the executive lounge again.But happy and will gladly return.

Friendly front desk and staff, nice lobby bar however the rooms and hotel definitely need an update as its on the older side. Parts of the hotel has a old moldy smell to it.

Beautiful refurb. Rooms look great, beds comfy. AC units are too loud and water was not running correctly in the bathtub.

Stayed on the 5th floor of the hotel very recently.
Was very quiet ( a desired charecteristic) throughout the stay, shower pressure was good, air conditioning worked great, housekeeping done promptly and parking spots were always available in the evenings as some the spots were taken up by the neighboring apartment residents from across the road ( not cool) !

No views unless you love buildings and roads to stare at occassionally !
Couch cushions were not so comfy. So try sitting on the corners to feel good

nice space, no dust and clean. front desk personnel was nice and checking in was easy. ample parking. easy to find. near the airport. it didn't have stove. only had microwave and fridge. loved the toiletries though. modern amenities. decor was modern and pleasing. room had no smells, no insects.

Was given a room that was 78 degrees and climbing even though the thermostat was set at 66. They gave me a new room. I set that thermostat at 60 and even though the fan sounded like a jet engine all night, it was 76 the next morning. For reference, it was 68 outside

The Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore is ideally located near Tampa International Airport, I-275, and two shopping malls. On-site restaurant serves breakfast daily. Ball rooms and meeting rooms are spaceous and reasonably furnished to provide ample meeting space for gatherings of all sizes. Staff are friendly and courteous.

First upon arriving to the hotel the staff was very friendly and professional. The lobby was clean and organized. I checked into my room flawlessly and proceeded to the elevator where there was a mildew smell as soon as I exited it then got to the room and there was mold spores in the shower. I was completely disgusted and discussed the issue with management and was comped my stay and offered another on them. They moved all my belonging to the new upgraded room and organized everything. After everything the new room and the staff diligence with attention to detail I could complain any.

Decent 3-star hotel. The staff is helpful and the rooms are clean. It has a full service restaurant and bar. It is usually available except for major events and conferences. The hotel is located within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and the largest shopping mall in Tampa, the International Plaza.

Excellent Hilton. Has a Executive Lounge with a real breakfast (eggs, meat, yogurt, fruit, pastries). Very friendly staff.

Bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been,..no counter tops in the restroom...stand alone sink,.. a foul smell of sulfur on our floor,.. even though this is not a must a microwave oven would have been a plus.

Deffinately not the best but certainly not the worst. When you turn on the bathroom sink it smells like sewage. Parts of the room smell moldy. Carpets weren't clean. Deffinately not for leisure but more for business. If you have kids this is not the place. A bit outdated. Best part is their friendly staff.

I only spoke with the woman at the front desk. She was friendly and professional and gave me the information I was seeking with a smile. The lobby was spotless and I was thinking if anyone I knew needed a hotel I would recommend this one just because of the cleanliness of the lobby.

Remington bought this Hilton. The new management decided to close the executive lounge. My wife and I stay here because of the benefits enjoyed in the executive lounge as Diamond members. We will not return here, again. Bad decisions by new management make me ill. Remington has put the staff here in a bad spot.

Paid 911$ for a 4 days of no toilet paper, poor amenities and soggy croutons.

Hotel is clean and convenient to nearby food and business offices. The bathroom while clean, did have stains in tub and the tub drained slow. The pillows were also not wonderful. I would stay here again but cant rank the hotel 5 stars.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are average, but very clean. Downstairs restaurant has awesome breakfast buffet; totally worth the money. Would definitely return if in the area.

Attended a work event in one of the main show rooms. Very nice space although a little crammed due to some interior construction going on.

The place was great! We stayed here for During the week of Christmas and the front desk were very professional and helpful especially the blonde girl with the accent. She was accommodating in every way. I loved how they had a shuttle bus the takes you places such as back to the airport. I would definitely come back here.

Seemed pretty nice. Staff was helpful and had large rooms for the conference I was attending.

Super small bathroom. Other than that they had everything we needed and front desk staff were friendly.

It's nice, very good sound proofing as its about a mile from the airport. Amenities are nice as well
