Close to restaurants and the international plaza mall. Quick drive or short walk with sidewalks. Rooms are decent and service is ok.

Called for the shuttle from the airport. The phone would ring several times and then we got a busy signal over and over. It sounded like someone was hanging up on us. Finally got through. Waited 20 minutes and no one came. Called again waited 20 more. Called again. Took about an hour to get a shuttle. The guy who arrived seemed angry. Didn't speak to anyone. Slammed suit cases in the back and then drove like a madman. Missed turns and had to back up in middle of one-way streets. Whipped around corners. We finally arrived and were in bed by midnight. At 2 a.m. and alarm went off and a recorded voice told to evacuate the building. No one ever came to tell us what was going on. We stood outside for about half an hour and then another customer came and told us we could go back in. No fire department or police ever showed up. We have no idea what was going on. A little communication would have gone a long way. I understand that things happen and was not too upset over having to evacuate but thank you for the been helpful especially to the families wit lots of little kids to know what was going on. The room was fine. I liked the bathroom shower stall. At breakfast Kevin and Radka were wonderful and earned you the stars that you got! Also we had two teenagers. We had asked for a room with a pull out couch. When we checked in the girl at the desk told us that there was a small couch that could be pulled out. There was not. There was a small chair and it did not unfold into anything. The picture with a blur of Lights is evacuating at 2 in the morning
Amazing breakfast staff, friendly, helpful and very welcoming during my visit!!
We were there for a wedding reception and the staff were very accommodating
Hilton is a great hotel always, great staff and good facilities. Just as any Hilton it is pricey.
This hotel sucks. Looks nice, but tiolet leaks and when I called front desk was on hold for 15 minutes. Then clerk says gm will call me. GM calls me. Says will see what he can do. He calls back, says nothing can be done. Hence my post. If I could give a zero, I would. And I'm a Hilton honors member. Not for long.
Rooms are nice and spacious. Bathrooms are from the 90's.
What a nice place, everybody is nice and the exterior as well is extraordinary
The hotel was nice but I could hear construction all night long and really bad in the morning. Staff was amazing.
Good place for a seminar. Decent bagels and coffee.
You can immediately tell that this hotel is in desperate need of a massive renervation just by looking at it but the full impact of how bad it actually is can only be realized from inside of the rooms. In my second night there I was awakened by the putrid smell of raw sewage permeating my entire room at 4am. The nauseating smell forced me to call the front desk to request a new room which to their credit they immediately helped with. The security guard that dropped off the key to the new room was so sickened by the smell she was forced to plug her nose while gagging at the door. After entering the new room I discovered that the toilet had no water in it and the box spring on one of the beds was broken. If all this wasn't bad enough, in the morning I discovered that there was a large hole in the ceiling of the shower dripping brackish water into the tub that I can only assume was more sewage. The staggering thing was this new room was a floor above the old one and on the other side of the building and was also experiencing a sewage problem. I would recommend everyone look for other hotels in the area until this Hilton can fix it egregious maintenance problems.
Great hotel, friendly staff and clean rooms. Location is close to dining, shopping and the airport. They charge $14 for parking, which seems unnecessary. The pool is very nice and relaxing. I would recommend staying here.
Attended event there, food was catered by hotel. The lobby was nicely decorated and there was a nice bar. The food catered by the hotel was awful. Tasted like hospital food, worse than high school cafeteria food.
Beautiful hotel, good location. Nice place to have a meeting, training and also a meal and a drink.
My stay here was excellent. The rooms are well kept and very clean. They even put a Lysol seal on the door representing the cleaning. The service is excellent. The front desk concierge, Pablo, is excellent. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
This place is very location centric. Airport is only a 3 minute car ride, the football stadium is only 5 minute car ride, the international mall is only a 2 minute car ride, the NHL's stadium is only 15 minute car ride... St. Pete beach is only a 25 minute car ride. Everything is at reach, great location. Hotel is pretty good, well taken care off. Clean and updated. Service is great.
Nobody picks up the phone locally after calling 4 times. I Had to call Hilton reservations and the lady hung up on me.
The hotel's staff was courteous and at the ready if I needed anything
Nice hotel and close to the TPA airport. Rooms are large and beds are pretty comfortable. Nice fluffy pillows and the rooms include a couch for lounging, refrigerator, coffee maker, in room safe and plenty of USB ports for charging your phone and tablet.
The pool is heated and towels are provided poolside, but there is NO hot tub which the place really needs with a nice firepit too. There are plenty of meeting rooms for events if you need one. There is a bar next to the pool with a good selection, including several beers on tap.
There is a small business center where you can print out your ticket if needed. But there is free wifi in all of the rooms and in the lobby.
There is an airport shuttle that runs about every 20 minutes so factor that in when you need to get back to the airport.
I have stayed at the hotel several times in the past year for business and will continue to use this hotel when I am in the area for business.
One thing if you are an HHonors member and want to be "Green" like at Marriott hotels you can choose their green option and earn 1000 HHonors per night when you stay 2 or more nights. So help save the planet and instead of using new towels each day reduce, reuse.
Very nice hotel.friendly staff and good food .I would recommend .
I've worked this hotel twice with a temp agency. Both were weddings. Great staff and mgmt. Very seasoned and professional, clean job. I would recommend anyone hold a reception or other occasion here. Ballroom holds up to 500pl, plus 2 other function rooms up to 100. Nice reception area for cocktails with up to 2 bars. Nice hotel, close to TPA. GREAT LOCATION!
Nice rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. The executive lounge was very cool.
Clean venue, nice setting, good catering. Didn t stay there, attended a seminar.
Nice hotel but the shower design makes no sense It soaks the entire bathroom floor. Lol. But it s comfortable and clean.
Nice hotel, has a shuttle to airport that runs every 30 minutes. Food is a bit pricey as with any Hilton, the only reason I didn't give a 5-star.
I stayed in one of the renovated rooms it was very nice. Breakfast was typical Hilton, I would like to see them add the smoked salmon to the buffet for breakfast, like a lot of other Hiltons have done. One big draw back was that the only microwave available was outside by the palapa in the pool area? Very strange..
I ve stayed here many times. I always enjoy my time. The rooms are clean and large and the staff is always helpful.
Although Google Maps took me on a little adventure to find it, it is a nice hotel. The executive lounge is on the main floor across from the checkin. The food in the executive lounge is decent, but no so heat hot. The rooms are nice with a large television and refrigerator. The bar is nice, but pretty basic although they serve food pretry quick to that of the Doubletree less than a mile away. It also has free self parking, sweet.
Fantastic staff and service when I attended a conference here.
It was nice. Not the best hotel I've ever been too but it gets the job done.
Very very nice. Comfortable beds. Clean. Excellent Services at the front desk checking in. My room had a great view where I could see the pool they have as well. My stay was FANTASTIC! Didn't want to check out honestly. slept like an angel.
Nice atmosphere. My High school class did our reunion 7 years ago.
All employees were very hospitable. Great location near food and drinks.
Hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Had problem with firat room, but we easily changed rooms. Construction was taking place across the street, but over all we had a very nice stay.
Went to pick up a friend from arrival, in and out what a breeze.
Nice staff, available shuttles to airport and attractions. I attended a reunion and the meeting rooms and service were top notch.
Convenient to the airport, but not to downtown. The rooms are nice. Restaurant is okay at best.
Elevators have taken more than 5 min to call.had to take stairs several times from tenth floor
Thomas was nice and said he would contact rider to get the fare reduction resolved. I wish we had like a call center for issues like this. We spend a lot of time and gas driving and we could explain our problem w/o driving there.
Best. Hilton. Ever
I travel quite a bit and this is one of my favorite Hilton properties. Great location. Close to the airport, Tampa Bay Bucs stadium, the mall and many restaurants. Great hotel bar/restaurant. Concierge snacks for Hilton members in the evening. Awesome large gym and outdoor pool. The rooms are very clean and modern. This is also one of the first hotels I ve stayed that that has a Pure floor. The entire floor is an allergen free floor. Each room has a pure filter and special foam pillows. I especially like the rooms on the 12th floor, as these have balconies. Updated bathrooms/showers. Free parking. I recommend this hotel. 5
Front desk staff nice. The bar/lounge was slow, asked for seconds never recieved. Food was ok. Hotel is clean
Each time I come the city of Tampa, whether it's for business or pleasure, I stay at this Awesome hotel. It's never a disappointment. I love the accommodations, the staff, and the environment. Check them out, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Clean and well maintained. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
Good hotel and conveniently located near the airport. Customer service is good, but hotel was having some issues with their elevator.
First the toilet stopped working in the room. Took the repair little over an hour to fix. He was nice enough yo comp me drinks. Around 6am the following morning alot of banging and what sounded like construction being done started coming from the 5th floor. I could not gi back to sleep. When I brought uo to the management staff on checkout. I was told they had an emergency. They did not offer me any compensation for this terrible inconvenience.
The entrance was nice and I expected more. I got a good deal from Priceline and was happy I didn't pay full price. The room was nice but the sheets had a stain and a hair on it. The carpet was old and had a stain. I was on the 3rd floor and there was no great view out the window.
The bathroom had a nice makeup mirror and the facial soap was good. The towels was clean and the bed was comfortable. It also had a clock that I was able to hook my phone up to and play my music. The location was close to alot of nice restaurants.
We didn't order room service because the prices seemed a little high. We enjoyed our stay. Oh the staff was really nice from the front desk to the maids. I might stay there again only if I could get the Priceline deal again.
Conference center and looking was nice and clean. No clear direction or signs to restrooms
Very nice bar area. Comfortable rooms. Location is in a business park, so not much in the way of restaurants/bars nearby.
Very clean. Excellent for board meetings or group activities.
Very friendly staff, very clean and sanitized, room feels extremely comfortable and cozy bathroom feels a bit odd due to size but the room and balcony view make up for it. Favorite hotel so far in Tampa area, thank you Hilton for the wonderful experience
It was just okay. My only real complaint is the shower. The water never got warm. The bed was soft enough. I would have liked some firmer pillows but that's really a minor thing.
Dirty bathroom. Didn t even remove previous persons soap and other used toiletries.
I m a diamond member and this is the first time I had to leave a negative review. It was a winter night and heat didn t work in my room and they said no more rooms available.
It was late so I thought better to stay they always have a good breakfast buffet. NOT! They made us pay an extra 10 for the buffet, even though with diamond member and the room type we purchased it s complimentary.
After paying &10 we find out all they have is cold boiled eggs and cold scrambled eggs. No toast only burnt biscuits. We waited for over 30 minutes for our coffee and tea to arrive. Then they brought it with the check and couldn t find a pen. So I had to wait another 10 minutes finally walked off and gave the check to the front desk as the restaurant people were all standing talking instead of helping anyone.
This is the worst excuse of a Hilton hotel DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOUR DESPERATE!
The updated rooms are flawless. Beautiful, spotless hallways and fully functioning lobby. Housekeeping must be top notch and front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was prompt and accommodating and the bartender is HILARIOUS. 5* all around for staff. All that being said, however, this particular weekend there was a Fetish Fest going on in the lobby, pool, bar, banquet halls, room halls, everywhere. Coming from someone having been in the hotel business most of my life, I get it. They re a guaranteed five-figured check for banquet halls and a room block and in the dead middle of September, that is not something you want to pass up. I think upon arrival realizing they were wearing thong underwear in see-through skirts and garments that read f*** me this should have been handled in such a way by the staff that the members would have to stay in the banquet hall if they wanted to wear such outfits. I saw a family of children at the pool scurry out after the parents witnessed pure vulgar nastiness going on in the pool area with no regard to their surroundings. Truly disappointing by such a beautiful, well-run property. If they return in the future perhaps a more private atmosphere would be better suited for such foolishness.
It is old and needs to be renovated, it smells of mildew and old upholstery/furniture. The bed had a dip in it that I kept rolling into. There is a lot of highway traffic and noise. They have valet and self park.
Stay on the bay.
This place is very beautiful clean smiles everywhere and they always make sure your a happy guest
Beautiful remodeled rooms excellent in House restaurant and friendly staff.
Room was ok. My ice bucket had water half full from the preivous people also there were no cups. The blanket had makeup all over it and when I pulled the cover back there was toilet paper all in the bed. I wasnt sure if the Housekeeper actually did her job because we would always have to find her to tell her she forgot something like toilet paper or towels. Nice hotel but shouldve been better since it is the Hilton.
We went to the Murder Dinner Mystery. I had a great time.
Have not checked out. Will have to update my review once I check out.
It's very nice. I just wish there was an ice machine on every floor, or a microwave in the rooms.
Very nice hotel, well decorated, transportation to and from the hotel and airport.
Wedding reception. Room was pretty big. Outside of the building was clean. Staff were friendly.
I have literally one bar wifi in the room! Room and bathroom definitely out-dated! I see ants by the night stand and by tv. I just put in a work order for the a/c since it stayed at 72/71 degrees and it wont get cooler than that! I hope they invest in the rooms as they did in their lobby and bar area.
Nice hotel and comfy beds, but the front desk girls I encountered were rude and condescending. I visited Tampa for a business trip, and Tony (the rudest so I remember her name well) was condescending and losing her patience with me after I just asked ONE question. I am from New York, and I thought I had no patience! As a Hilton Rewards Member, I personally ask my job to place me in Hilton Hotels; however, after dealing with two or three patronizing individuals at this hotel (who were rude to my job's exec assistant who paid for the hotel, no less), I will definitely reconsider where I stay in the future. PS - I stayed in a Hilton in Pittsburgh back in February and had the most pleasant experience. I called Hilton to rant and rave about that hotel's manager. I give credit where it's due, and I think if you're in customer service, you should at least pretend to like your job. Your guests shouldn't feel uncomfortable when they stay at your hotel. One of my room cards was never activated, and I did not want to deal with the eye rolls or the being ignored as occurred several times over three days. :)
Bed bugs, several of my colleagues had bed bugs in their beds. My hotel room was disgusting and wasnt even cleaned. There was chicken bits and crumbs all over the floor. This is not a smart hotel choice. I told the staff the next morning and they apologized and said have a good day. My body still itches.
