Hilton Tampa Westshore Review

Had a company meeting at the hotel and stayed a night. From the time I got there, the front desk associates were so pleasant, meet the manager and he had me laughing. We also ordered food there for the meeting, lunch was in a box which consists of a sandwich, fruit, cookie and chips then we had a buffet which was pretty good. At night we went to have a glass of wine at the bar. The bartender had lots of jokes and had us laughing so hard. He was amazing and the drinks were on point. The rooms were so clean and roomy. It was a pleasure staying here

Great place for a business or social event. Ample parking, near the airport and highways. Building was clean, orderly and update. Would be happy to attend another event at this location.

Had a great stay at this hotel with my family. Staff was very nice and friendly and the rooms were nice and clean! Got a great night sleep for our adventures the next day.

Can I not give them 0 start.worst hotel ever!!! We stayed in Hilton Tampa airport Westshore May 3-5. We paid extra for executive upgrade which included free breakfast. When we got to the room there was one towel and the bathroom was dirty. Next morning we went down stairs asked where we needed to go for breakfast. The representative pointed toward the restaurant so when we walked in they couldn t find our names. The gentleman seated us and a few minutes later came back to tell us our breakfast is in the executive lounge. So we when to the executive lounge and to our surprise there wasn t any breakfast fast there at 8:30am. So I went back to the front desk and told the receptionist. She got rude and gave us breakfast vouchers told us we have to have breakfast in the lounge I just ignored and had the breakfast form the restaurant. Later that evening I went to the e.lounge to get snacks for my 5 year son and the key wouldn t work. So had to ask the receptionist and she changed out our room keys and apologized for the inconvenience. Next morning we got down stairs to the executive lounge at 7:25 am again no breakfast. So again I we to the receptionist to ask what s going on? She rudely told me breakfast is over. That s when I lost it I asked to speak to the manager. Again I was surprised when she said I am the manager. I told her I would like a refund for the executive upgrade and I am a Hilton rewards member. Her response was okay . At that instance I had enough so we checked out and left.

I was given a room that was not very clean. There were fingerprints all over the night stand, lamps, and door handle. The floor was not vacuumed and there were hairs in the bathroom. Called the front desk and switched rooms although they did not go out of their way to apologize.

Surprisingly we got a good deal. This place is great. Well maintained. It's very close to airport and whole foods. I loved the location. Plenty of channels to watch on TV.

I've had issues at this hotel multiple times. The most recent visit, upon leaving, the front desk woman was new and couldn't figure out how to split the bill between 3 people. She finally figured it out, or so we thought. After leaving, we all got charged MULTIPLE times equalling more than our entire bill several times over. I immediately called and got put on hold for 20 minutes. My partner called and got through, and proceeded to spend the next FIVE DAYS trying to get the charges correct. In the end, two of our charges were settled, but my partner still had an extra $400 charge that shouldn't have been there, and he had to dispute with his credit card. We go to this hotel every year for an event. We might skip the event next year. The rooms are nice, and the staff is friendly. But I don't know if it's worth the headache to see what will go wrong next year.

I entered the building and immediately went into the conference room on the left, so I didn't see every much of the building, but the location was good, and there seemed to be quite a bit of parking.

Dated room, ultra thin wall especially the bathroom wall. AC sounded like thunder when turning on. Bed is beaten up. Definitely not a 4 star hotel shown on Priceline.

Nice hotel, hilton standards kept in mind. Needs a major renovation however, doors dont close all the way you have to push or pull for them to close so they would lock. Carpet is getting old in some rooms so you smell the mustiness...its fai t, but it will only increase. Service is great, staff greets you whenever they see you which is nice, i felt welcomed overall by the staff so I can give it 4 stars. PS- Some coffee makers are broken or not well functioning, time for an upgrade Hilton!

Rooms were clean. Price was high for poor food with high costs. Staff Was Non existant

I booked this hotel through a discount site, I wasn't aware of where the reservation would be upon booking. I immediately looked at other reviews when I learned it would be where I would be staying and I had some concerns about the hotel. Those concerns were unfounded and it was a great value. The room was clean, functional, comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff was very attentive and helpful. I asked for additional pillows and they sent as many as I wanted. We had breakfast in the cafe, which was a bit expensive ($15.50 per person for the buffet) but it was all fresh and there were a lot of choices, so I have no complaints. I think one of the best parts was that check-in was at 3 and checkout was at 12, which offered a more leisure stay. It was nice to be so close to International Plaza and the delicious places to eat in West shore.

The room was spacious, the view was amazing ! The executive lounge was extremely convenient and well stocked & breakfast was great as well!

Easy to find great parking lots of Staff friendly smiley ask a couple people tell me I know it was good. Great food

Our stay was very satisfactory! Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the front desk clerk was very helpful when we dropped our car keys down the elevator.

Never again, nasty had bugs we moved to 3 different rooms in 2 days. Yeah they gave a free night still charged us $12 /night for parking.

This is a pretty nice Hilton that is conveniently located near downtown, the airport and Cigar City Brewery! The lobby is very nice and the rooms are pretty nice, but a bit dated. They do have an executive level and offer a complimentary happy hour.

The service was as expected and room was clean.

Overall hotel seemed to be pretty modern. Rooms were nice as was the bar / restaurant area. Always nice having the executive lounge for HHonors members, though the (free) breakfast wasn't great.

I didn't stay in the hotel, but the lobby and conference room was not very clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The common areas were clean and in good condition.

This hotel is awesome. Beautiful rooms and the staff is the best, very friendly and courtesy and it's close to everything including the airport, shopping, dining, downtown, the riverwalk and much more. We will definitely be back again soon. Thanks guys.

Close to airport. Great for meetings and rooms are nice. The bar could have a bigger selection, but since for a night cap.

Terrible experience. Our room was on the fifth floor which was under construction. The floors were lined in plastic, sheets of drywall leaning against the walls down the hallways, sheets of plastic barricading rooms and we had to walk through herds of construction workers each time we left our room. Our teenage daughters were ogled at by the workers when we tried to spend time in the pool and there were cockroaches in our bathroom.

Nice hotel, 15 min walk from a mall and 3 miles away from ocean

Could not ask for a more friendly and helpful staff, the rooms we had were sanitized for comfort and gave us another level of security . The location is perfect close to and within walking distance to International mall for shopping, eating. Great last night spent for the weather the heated pool was perfect. Thank you

The entire place is beautiful. The staff was friendly. The bartender, an English man who's name I can't remember was incredible, and deserves a raise. The food available was delicious. And the view was perfect.

Didn t have my reservation when I arrived then charged me when I booked with points.

Our business event was hosted wonderfully made Hilton a provided fresh snacks and beverages and they had great amenities

Great central location for anyone with a (rental) car. Good parking, and decent amenities. The layout of the floors is great in that there is a gap between the three elevators and the rooms (so you won't be sleeping next to an elevator shaft). Rooms are modern and most if not all have an interesting view of the local area. Staff was extremely pleasant and amenable.

A little disappointing. No wifi available in my room on 10th floor. There is no real restaurant. You order in the bar off a limited menu. I think it is cooked nearby and delivered. For example, the picture shows a $44 room service delivered in plastic ware. All drinks for room service were bottled. The flavor was decent but $44 plus tip should merit a little higher quality at a Hilton.

Great hotel. The updated decor is so nice. The front desk staff as well as the breakfast staff were so friendly and accommodating with everything. The room was clean and I loved they had a shower rather than tub. It was so nice. My only complaint is that I can always count on Hilton to have gluten free toast, bread, muffins, etc. and this location did not two days in a row. That is huge to people who travel with food allergies and all Hiltons that I have stayed at do.

Clean location but found the staff to be less than outgoing.

The pool was nice, but the beds were uncomfortable and there was no WiFi or free breakfast :(

Rooms were very clean, at times the night staff was not the nicest but overall good experience.

Front desk is slow to acknowledge your presence, will not answer phone when you call from room, Room service will not answer phone, you have to go to restaurant to order room service, then the food comes in plastic containers with plastic fork, Diamond members are not welcomed, you have to ask for your water and breakfast coupons, then they still charge you for your breakfast. there are no ice machines, you have to go to the pantry store and pick it up there (no signs to indicate this). To be fair the hotel building is nice, clean and offers free parking.

Went for an event. It was a pleasant day. The locat I need was great and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Great appearance, extra clean rooms, great staff! Absolutely loved my stay here. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool decent sized and we'll maintained. Workout room had plenty of space and good amount of equipment. Landscaping outside is beautiful. Great hotel inside and out. Would recommend to anyone.

Wedding reception venue. Was okay, food was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing really great. It was sufficient for the ocassion.

Great place to stay! It was truly a great place with a staff that made me feel safe, and like I was on vacation. When we go back to Tampa, I will stay here!

I was moved around a few times in my stay but for the inconvenience they did treat me very well for the rest of my stay.

Attended a dinner detective, hotel was clean and workers were friendly. However, drinks and dinner was super expensive for lower quality food.

I haven't stayed here but have to rave on the shuttle driver that helped us out! I accidentally called the wrong Hilton hotel tonight to ask for a shuttle to come and collect us from the Westshore mall, after realizing I called the wrong hotel the shuttle driver was kind enough to drive us to our hotel. Thank you so much for your great customer service!!!

Was there for a dinner detective event in a meeting room. Overall good facility, but parking lot is very awkward with its dead end, and the food provided was lackluster, at best. Maybe it was what the event ordered, but it could have been better.

Nice amenities with bar, concierge, coffee shop, pool area with restrooms, friendly housekeeping and check in and out easy, conference rooms

Booked this hotel in preparation for a cruise. Was told they would<br/>Pick us up at the airport and take us to the cruise line the next day. 4/06/19 arrived at st Pete airport and called for shuttle. I was told they don t pick up from the st Pete airport. Too far. (14 miles). This was not what we were told at booking. I asked Jay at the front desk about taking us to our cruise the next day. He said that no they don t do that either. (Less than 5 miles). Very disappointed with Hilton in general and especially this one. Mold in the coffee maker and on the bathroom ceiling. No help or response. Next time will go elsewhere

Overnight stay here, generally positive experience. Room is quiet and large.

Cheap place to stay just for one night if you have NO options. Mediocre accommodation.

This is a very nice hotel and well appointed. I was here for a conference and had a great time in this facility.

This hotel is in a great location. It is close to the mall and the airport.the rooms are large and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and clean. We loves the mirror light that made for great selfies as well as a wonderful make upoght. The beds are plush and sort. The rooms included a smart TV and a refrigerator. Everything was neat and clean. I would recommend this hotel to others if you need to stay in this area

We stayed at the hotel for an event. The service at the bar was not great. They were overwhelmed with the amount of people and were not kind at all. The host in the restaurant was not very personal and only a few of the restaurant staff were friendly. The reception desk had very kind employees. The rooms were very nice and the conference rooms were pretty but very very cold.
