Arrived here to get an oil change through the garage no one attempted to assist me, so I then got out of my vehicle and approached the desk station 4 employees ignored me like I wasn t standing there 1 literally was sleeping the other was on the phone and 1 was helping a customer while the other was typing at her desktop. Once she was done typing she got up walked in the back came back to her desk and started typing again. The other women that was on the phone ended her call and got on her computer like I was invisible. I thought are you serious! So finally I said to all the employees I m I invisible I been standing here for the last 10 minutes and not one of you had the audacity to say I ll be with you in a minute or anything. So then finally the lady that was doing absolutely nothing assisted to help by calling some random guy that was walking-around doing nothing. But he was really nice and helpful. I understand they get busy but your running a business be professional and courteous to your customers.

I leased a vehicle from Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep R...

I leased a vehicle from Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Virginia Beach in May 2017 that I still drive today. Here are the deceptive practices I experienced and trust me, I received the whole check list.

1) "You were just 1 point off of having Tier 1 credit." Now agree to these unfavorable terms.
2) *While negotiating* Salesman returns with lower payment number only to hide that all he did was switch the terms from 36 to 39 months. When I asked directly about it I received, "This is normal for 3 year leases.". Given the context, he was implying that all 3 year leases are really 39 months and that we had been negotiating 39 from the beginning.
3) Selling 5 year optional insurances on a 3 year lease. They check the 5 year box for you.
4) After agreeing on a price they then added "pretreated items that cannot be negotiated since they were already performed". Items such as nitrogen in tires, special coatings on the glass, special interior protection coatings and other ludicrous things of this nature.
5) "You will want additional environmental protection coverage because of all the jet fuel in the air." Nothing more to say here.

Towards the end of this process I was asked if I wanted the front license plate bracket/bumper guard drilled into the bumper or for them to not install it. My salesman said that he always asks this now because they had to replace a new front bumper for a previous customer that specifically requested this not be performed. I said do not install it and he came back 5 minutes later and let me know that they had already drilled the holes and installed it.

Just over a year into the lease I was reached out to with a 'one time special trade in offer' for my car to come get something new at this HCJDR in VB. For entertainment purposes I responded to get the figure. It was less than the agreed upon purchase value of the vehicle at the end of the lease. Insulting right? Considering there was still 24 months left in the lease. The offer was 61% of the cars value at that exact time and for fun the next day I went to a large 'haggle-free' competitor to get their offer. It 12% higher, just in case you thought repeating business here would be a good idea.

PROS: I have received good customer service from the staff that reaches out via email/phone periodically and the service center here. (Which included 2 free oil changes)

So if getting ripped off with a smile is fun for you then I would highly recommend you make it a day trip to this dealership. My salesman still works there so enjoy!

I buy a new car almost every 2 or 3 years. Each time I begin the process I have to sike myself up to go to a dealership! Once I finally got siked up and went to Hall CP in VAB, I was blown away by the laid back, easy going, friendly, no pressure, professional customer service I received from Tarrington Battle and team. Even after 4 or so test drives and different models, it was all good. If I said no, that doesn't work for me or that's not what I want to do,the response was ok...no argument or push back. I highly recommend calling Tarrington at Hall CP in VAB!!! He and Scott in Finance and the rest of this awesome team will definitely take care of you!!

After the experience we had with the service department & with Jeep corporate, we ve traded in our Jeep for a Ford & will never go back! We purchased a used 2015 Jeep eco diesel a little over a year ago, and we ve had nothing but issues with the vehicle since we brought it home. The check engine light has been on 5 times due to an emissions issue. We have an extended emissions warranty that Jeep was required to offer after a lawsuit with this particular model. Anyway, we ve paid to have the fuel filters replaced twice already this year, and with this last check engine issue we were told not only did we have to pay to have them replaced again, but we needed to pay to have the fuel system cleaned. This particular model has a system regeneration where the fuel system should be self cleaning, but that also stopped working the last time we paid to get the fuel filters replaced. Then the tech checking for the issue tried to insult our intelligence by saying it s our fault for putting bad gasin the vehicle. We dropped the car off on a Monday, got the call from the tech and Tuesday then had to wait an additional 2 days for corporate and Jeep to communicate with each other to tell us it s all maintenance issues and nothing is covered under the extended emissions warranty. We then had to pay for 4 days on a dirty rental car we were given (not wiped down or vacuumed & it smelled...you could tell another driver had just dropped it off) instead of 2 because the service department & Jeep couldn t get each other on the phone. Done with the Jeep brand and won t recommend this service department to anyone

This dealership has a welcoming atmosphere and is always ready to help out anyone who comes into the store. Each person is concerned about the needs of the customers and each other. The sales management, finance and insurance managers, and salesmen have been some of the best people I have ever got the chance to know. Noel Otero is a salesman that I have had the pleasure of working with and I would recommend anyone to ask for him, or any sales associates for assistance at Hall. There's no other place that I would rather spend a few hours buying a car in. It's always going to be a bit of a lengthy process to buy a car, but why not make it a great one at Hall CDJR in VB.

Eric Osborne had previously sold my husband his Dodge Dart and did a fantastic job! When my mother came into the market for a new vehicle on Monday we knew there was nowhere else in town we wanted her to go. I took her to Hall myself and Eric got her set up with a lovely sedan that she is still over the moon excited about. The pricing was incredibly reasonable. Mark walked my mother and I through the financing process making sure we understood every aspect. There were no hidden fees and no artifice in the dealings and I appreciate that greatly. We will definitely be returning when it is my turn for a new car! Great people you can trust!

The salesman that we had the pleasure of working with, Mr. Stanley Smith, was by far the most knowledgeable and courteous of all. He is a true professional in every respect. All of our questions were answered honestly from a man who obviously knows his business. I would without a doubt recommend Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to anyone that is looking to have a pleasant car buying experience. I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Daverne Lindsey as my service advisor today! As soon as I pulled into the service station, she was prompt and ready to address my service needs. She was very professional, respectful, welcoming, and extremely attentive to the needs of my vehicle. My services were done in a timely fashion and she also suggested that I grab a cup of complementary coffee! Additionally, aside from getting my oil changed she noticed I needed to get another repair taken care (replacing my air filter). She explained that the air filter is the key part of your engine s respiratory system. Without replacing the air filter, this could lead to damage to internal components of the engine, reduction in overall fuel efficiency, and lack of power under hard acceleration; all in which I want to avoid lol. After she informed me of the risks that can lead from the lack of replacing my air filter, I went ahead and got it replaced and my car was out in no time! She was VERY, VERY informative!!!! Nonetheless, I would GLADLY recommend others to her. Thanks again, Daverne Lindsey and the rest of the excellent customer service team at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Virginia Beach :)

Came in to look at a few vehicles. I did not know much about the wrangler, even though I do like them. I was greeted by a very professional salesman named Noel. He took his time and went through every option and every route I could take to purchase the wrangler the way I wanted too. I was very impressed since car shopping can be a drag sometimes. In January, I bought a 2018 Dodge Journey. The whole process went smoothly and James was fantastic. Today, I went for my first oil change. My appointment was at 8:45am. I was told there would be a 1 1/2 hour wait even with an appointment and I got my car back at 11. The whole interior smelled like oil. I am very disappointed with the quality of service I received today.

We received a phone call from a manager concerned about our review. She was very understanding and listened about our experience. She apologized and offered a free oil change, detail and told us she hoped our next experience with them is much better.

I purchased a used 2013 Wrangler 2 door through Hall. After it rained I realized I had a leak around the soft top/door. I understand this happens and I wasn't upset. I worked with Bob in the Jeep service department. It did take two attempts to get the leak fixed but it is fixed now and I felt that Bob took the extra steps needed to make sure my jeep was fixed and I wasn't inconvenienced. They also took the time to make sure any recalls for my model were completed while it was in the shop.

So my wife has always wanted a Jeep Wrangler. She doesn t know this but I will be getting it as a gift to her very soon.

And boy, Kevin, is the man! He told me about some great spots we could travel to up north to take the car off road. Maybe hit up Cedar Point while we re at it.

That and he knew his stuff. I had to test him and this guy knows his Jeeps. Definitely coming back here when the time is right. The wife will love the birthday present! Kevin s the man!

I Worked with Courtney today and she was amazing . She was super nice and knowledgeable. She made sure they did everything they could to get me in the car I wanted . She didn t pressure me to buy which I really liked. she cared about my situation and wanted what was best for me! She walked me thru all of the features in the car and made sure I felt comfortable with everything before I drove away !

Do not ever buy a car from these rip off artists. We had negotiated a price on an ordered jeep and when we were signing the paperwork they realized the VIN number was actually not the correct one for the price negotiated so we had to pay more as the car we were purchasing had more upgrades . We should have walked but I had fallen in love with the car by then so we negotiated some oil changes to be added into our agreement to try to appease us . Nothing was ever said about how long I had to use said oil changes. Well fast forward almost 3 years and lo and behold the free oil changes had EXPIRED. Of course I wasn t told that until AFTER I had my first oil change there. (Got other oil changes closer to home and definitely will do that again). Was not told about expired oil changes when I made the appointment even though I certainly told the representative when I made the appointment. Everyone passing the buck.. apparently service and sales do not talk to each other. Call center took appointment and didn t pass it on to service. Grrr I am so angry. On the only bright spot my origin sales rep gave me a pass for a free oil change. They still charged me $40 bucks for tire rotation which I am quite sure was a rip off but I am so done with this dealership. They also threatened to call the police if I left without paying and put a car IN front of mine to block me in. What a way to treat a 2nd time purchaser. BUYER BEWARE of this dealership.

I used USAA car buying service to search for a used Jeep Wrangler. My search suggested a few new and used vehicles at Hall. When I went in to test drive a vehicle, I was greeted by Shane. I made it clear I was there to test drive and look at my options. I verbalized I was not interested in purchasing a vehicle that day. Shane talked me into test driving a new Jeep Wrangler. He didn t give me a choice to drive the Jeep with the top on. He cranked the radio up to the point that I couldn t hear the engine or any other potential alignment issues. He didn t want to show me any used vehicles in stock and immediately started talking about financing. I told him I was using my bank and didn t want to discuss financing with him. He went to talk to his manager who brought back an offer for financing the vehicle that did not include final bottom line price. It only included monthly payment and a dealer discount. I showed him the USAA true car value for the same vehicle and he became angry. The manager magically dropped 5,000$ off the sticker price. They still didn t present any paperwork with anything on it besides the monthly payment. I repeatedly vocalized I was not going to buy a vehicle that day and that I wouldn t use the dealership for financing. I asked for a copy of the paperwork and Shane flat out refused. After leaving the dealership, I was alerted by my credit monitoring service that Hall had ran my credit ..... TWICE without my permission or signature on any paperwork.

I will not use Hall to purchase any vehicles in the future because it is clear I was being taken advantage of by this salesman and his manager.

Each time one s credit is checked it lowers the report by 10 points each time. Over time, the score has increased but I m very sure this an illegal practice by this dealership.

I recommend not giving any dealership your license to copy before a test drive. Instead bring your own copies with the license number blacked out. In addition, get approved financing from USAA or your bank of choice before test driving and make it obvious you refuse to let the dealership check your credit. In addition, take a man with you so these sexist jerks don t treat you differently just because you are a woman.

I had an excellent buying experience here. I negotiated the whole deal over a few emails and my wife picked up my new Jeep on her way home from work. They gave me good value on my trade and honestly I don't know how they aren't losing money on the deal. I got a $25,000 Jeep for $17,000 and didn't go upside down on the trade if you count the broken windshield I would've had to replace before my next state inspection anyway. And the Jeep Renegade I bought is so sweet it's crazy. If I had to complain I would complain about the detailing of the vehicle. There was tons of overspray from them cleaning the tires and generally it just wasn't shiney the way a freshly cleaned car should be. But after spending the morning with some McGuires and some Mother's it shines like a jewel. I don't know if they'll have as much luck with my trade.

From start to finish I felt they valued me as a customer. I worked with Ben (Stewart) and even at my first visit to the dealership; after I informed him I was at least 3 months out from a purchase; he still spent at least an hour with me answering all my questions. I did return a few months later and purchased my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. However the one that met all my requirements was not on the lot so I had to wait for it to arrive from the factory. Ben knew how excited I was and let me know the night before my Jeep was to arrive and I schedule the time I would be in the next day. Upon arrival he had my keys and Jeep ready, just had to finish up a bit of paperwork, but before leaving Ben ensured I had no questions about my new Jeep. I would not only recommend Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep(had to get that far with the name since I bought a Jeep :P) but I would very much recommend Ben Stewart.

Do not have them do a spray in bed liner! I got talked into a special they were doing, I should of known, you go cheap you get cheap. I've always gotten Linex before but I thought I'd give them a try. Within the first year it was chipping and by year row you could see the paint coming through. My last spray in bed liner lasted ten years, this one didn't last two. I think it's actually devalued my truck! You get what you pay for, go to the professionals.

Worst service experience ever! I bought a 2018 Pacifica and after only 3 months (ODO 46K) it has a cylinder misfire. Brought it in for warranty repairs and have been without a car for over 2 weeks, with at least another week to go while they wait on parts. Techs are not responsive, takes several attempts to get an answer. They keep telling me they will check on the status and I never hear back. No offer of a loaner vehicle. If I were paying out of pocket I bet I would be a higher priority for them.
I am getting rid of this vehicle ASAP, I have a very low opinion of Chrysler at this point. Also, I will not ever do business with Hall again. If not for the fact that the repairs are under the warranty (they say) I would have taken it somewhere else weeks ago.

Update: Finally got a loaner vehicle after asking for 2 weeks. I appreciate it, but wish it had happened sooner.

Update 2: Finally got the vehicle back after over 3 weeks in the shop. Vehicle seems to be running well, and repairs were covered under warranty. Customer service is much improved after posting this review, with daily updates on the status of the repairs. I wish they had treated me that way from the beginning but better late than never I suppose. I am getting rid of the vehicle ASAP due to the mechanical issues - needing a new head at 46k miles points to shoddy workmanship IMO. All done with Chrysler products!

I had nothing but a wonderful experience here. Ronald Sumption is an excellent person to make sure you walk/drive away happy. He went the extra mile in my opinion the entire time I was in his care. He was patient, kind, and very helpful. He answered all of my questions and my grandparent's questions. As a first time buyer, I could not be happier with how well everything and everyone was. Joe in sales, Jimmy in the service department, Keith in the service department, and Ken in the service department are also very awesome people. Every person I dealt with was amazing.

This was our second truck purchase from Hall and each experience has just gotten better. Not being from the area we had no reference or recommendations to help us but we definitely lucked out when we ended up at Hall. This most recent interaction truly showed their willingness to go above and beyond. Being a military spouse, this was my first purchase with my husband being overseas and completely absent for the entire process. Not only was I dealing with being a first time, solo female shopper but I was also dealing with insurance and a total loss claim for our previous vehicle all with a 9-month old strapped to my hip. Stanley Smith was the epitome of professional. He was sincerely invested in helping me find the best fit for my family. His guidance and patience made what could have been a stressful and challenging situation into an enjoyable experience. The entire team at Hall made everything so easy and effortless. They picked up the car in Newport News and drove it to Virginia Beach which is only 15 min from my house very convienient. Brandon Self was the one I talked to about everything he was so friendly, professional, and courteous. Most of all he didnt pressure me into buying anything extra. I have a Jeep Compass that has a broken transmission fill tube. Have called and left no less than 4 UNRETURNED voicemails with service. Why doesn't anyone return my call? Why doesn't anyone answer the phone?! My Jeep is out of service, not drive-able, sitting in my driveway (because I can see dirt in the fill tube) waiting on some poor overworked service writer to put down their smartphone, listen to their voicemails and return my call. Seriously...do I need to call the Service Manager or GM to reach someone at this dealership?!?!?!

"Bill Ham" is a pseudonym, that is why you "don't have a record of me at your dealership". Try checking the voicemails in the service department...you will find the unreturned messages. I have been a loyal customer of Hall for many years. Bought several different vehicles. this will be my last vehicle i purchase from any hall store. My car was impounded because there are 2 VIN numbers associated with my car. apparently 2 of the same cars were sold in the same day and the VIN's got mixed up and DMV says Hall owns my car. I called my sales manager and he directed me to finance. finance told me they would either straighten out the issue and go pick up my car or give me something else to drive in the mean time. well then the GM called me back and told me the finance department does not have the right to make that decision and that it was not his job to get me back and forth to work.
i have never had any issues like this so whoever has the other car like mine, lookout! you are going to be without a vehicle and Hall wont do anything about their mistake

I am accustomed to a high pressure, "buy this car as you may never find one as good as this one", type of environment but this was not the environment that I encountered at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Virginia Beach. Mr. John Powell was my Salesperson and he took the time to help me find the right car for me, regardless of if it was the highest priced one or not. We went through about a week of looking at different cars before I found the car that I settled on which was a 2010 Ford Fusion SE. If you are looking for a car and have a set budget then Mr. Powell and Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are the car dealer and dealership for you.

I do not like this dealership at all. I really am hating the fact that I even bought a Jeep. I bought a brand new Jeep Cherokee in 2016 and have had nothing but problems. Within the first year a coil pack had to be replaced. Then the master switch went out. I have had to get a new transmission and radiator. Also had to get a oil pressure sensor. Thank goodness I purchased an extended warranty which covered those things. Now a hose to the thermostat has busted and they are saying its not covered under the warranty. They are trying to charge 427.00 to replace a hose and for a coolant flush. I am so over this Jeep and this dealership. I cannot wait until this car is paid off so I can get rid of it and get another car. I will NEVER purchase another Jeep especially not from this dealership.

My old vehicle broke down and I needed a new one within 24 hours to get through my week. Philip Hassler helped me find exactly what I was looking for and made the process very easy and fast for me to take home my Buick Enclave. He showed me many options and was very patient and helpful especially since I had my kids with me during this time. He is an excellent manager and really cares about his customers and making sure they are happy before they leave the lot. I highly recommend going to see him to find a vehicle!

1 star for the Service Department.

Dropped my Jeep off last Thursday evening for a 915am appointment on Friday 5/24/19. Didn't receive a call but a text instead at 1036am that they are still trying to get my vehicle looked at reasoning being that they carried work over from the day before. Which I can understand to a point so I gave it some time, however at 5pm I called them myself to get a status update and played the phone transfer game only to be told that the tech working on it was not around to let me know the status. I than asked why it has taken all day long to look at my radio and was told well "we carried over a lot of work from the previous day" however I was met with a bit of a nasty attitude over the phone. I than arrived at the dealership service desk at 545pm to get my Jeep and the individual that gave me the paperwork acted as if I was being an inconvenience to them when I asked what did they find out in regards to the Jeep. Normally, I have no problems with the service department but here lately I have had some very horrible experiences and might want to search for somewhere else to bring my vehicle in for service if this is the type of customer service Hall is going to be putting out. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Hall and never had any problems with the sales department it's when its time to bring it in for service am I met with attitudes and a feeling of being an inconvenience for the department.

Wow. Wednesday my Jeep tanked on the interstate... belts ripped up, water pump needing replacement, coolant change - aka my Jeep was down for the count. They had it back to me this morning. Vickie was amazing, she said some guys came in on their day off to catch up on some cars they had gotten behind on. They had been really busy the last couple weeks, and these guys came in to catch up for their customers. They're amazing, and they care.

I ask for a car key replacement and they were charging me around 175 per key. Also they told me I had to get a certain key (Transponder). Called a locksmith and was given excellent service for 150 for TWO KEYS. I never had a problem with Dodge but there car key replacement is ridicules. Service department really needs to change there prices asap

I made the best move going to Hall Chrysler- Steven Quintana is the BEST salesman EVER!!!! He was patient and did not just try to push me into any new vehicle!!! I wanted a new car- but there was a certified pre-owned vehicle of the same make and model of the 2015 Chrysler i wanted!! I only had to be flexible on color. So, instead of a black car, I selected a white sedan with less that 2500 miles!! NOT TO MENTION I STILL HAVE A WARRANTY!! By making this switch, he saved me over 10 g's and 200+ monthly!!! He offered all pros and cons on other vehicles i selected also, which i truly appreciated!! I was only browsing; but the deal was sooo great i drove off the lot today with my new car!! So I came in here to edit my initial review. The guys at the dealer are very quick to ask you to leave a nice review after you've happily taken your car. A month after, turns out they haven't paid off my trade in loan causing me to incur a late fee and possibly a credit hit. They're asking me to payoff the difference in the payoff that was entered or go sign another deal where they'd add the difference, how nice of them. Last time I checked dealers need to check payoffs, not bill their customers later for the mistakes. The odd thing here is that I provided them with a payoff straight from the finance institution stating the correct amount to pay($24,704) and up until what day it was good(3/29/18) but some how I now owe $1043. Lastly, I'd like to add and I have emails to prove, my sales person James, didn't reply to any one of my emails after the sale. Come a month after and I need a replacement tag so I email him once more to ask for details on how to go about it, surprise, no reply. Overall the dealer seems to be great and very professional but my experience hasn't been ideal. I'll update the review once they "resolve" this situation. Hopefully the owner reaches out to me as he did on my initial "positive" review.

It s been a very disappointing experience for me taking my car to Hall. Ive never had a major problem with my car since I ve had it. I decided to take it to a dealer (Hall) and to my dismay I have the same problem with my car and it s been less than a couple of months. When my husband had the car taken back in, we have been quoted another 500.00, it s been 6days later, and the problem they re stating now isn t in the detailed report we were given after the first visit. I m really outdone and I m not understanding how the exact same problem can now be something different and I m having to pay another 500.00. This seems like highway robbery. John (Service Director) has been rude and unprofessional, not really looking to understand our point of view on this matter. I hope Hall can try to have an open mind in this matter, it s truly sad to have to be experiencing this. There s more details to the situation, would love to speak to someone who may listen and try to understand my situation rather to be treated me like you could care less
